Wouldn't change a thing!

Rita was the 4th florist I consulted with and I am so glad I shopped around until I found her. Her prices were fair and she created so many beautiful pieces for our wedding! I felt I had a complicated wish-list, but Rita took on our wedding and made all my floral dreams come true! Thank you Rita!

Amazing flowers!!

I'm so glad I chose Rita to do the flowers for my wedding! The bouquets, corsages, and boutonierres were exactly what I wanted! They were all so beautiful and matched my wedding perfectly. Rita is really great at communicating and is super nice! I would recommend her to anyone who's looking for a florist!

Must hire!

Rita is truly a gem! I went with other florist and they were always trying to sell me flowers that I did not want or they would try and upsell me. Rita took the time and got to know me and understand what I had envisioned for our wedding and she did that and more! She made our day extra special with such beautiful flowers for less then a lot of other florists.

Unique Designed

Rita has very unique designs so that your wedding is different from everyone elses. It is nice to make you feel special and not just the standard flowers. Also, she is the nicest women ever and so great to work with!

Rita was SO great to work with. I had no idea of what I wanted and when I figured out what I wanted I had no idea how to obtain it. Rita helped me figure out exactly what I wanted and made sure everything would look good. The flowers for the whole day look absolutely amazing and I could not have been happier.

Rita was so wonderful to work with. She took my ideas and created the most beautiful centerpieces, corsages, boutonnières and hairpiece. My guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful they were. Planning a destination wedding can be challenging. Luckily, I found Rita! She was fantastic to work with and our wedding flowers turned out absolutely perfect! My bouquet was so beautiful, it was just what I envisioned! And since we were traveling from out of state, Rita graciously provided us with the vases for our centerpieces, and baskets for cards and wedding fans. One less thing to pack or ship! Our day was wonderful and we're grateful she was part of it!

There are not enough great words to describe Rita's Floral Designs. Rita understood exactly what I wanted and most importantly she understood I had a budget and did not push me to buy anything I didn't need. All the flower arrangements were gorgeous and my bouquet was exactly what I wanted! Rita was very sweet and professional. She answered all my questions on a timely manner. I would highly recommend Rita Vanek with Rita's Floral Designs for a wedding florist. She went above and beyond to bring my wedding vision to life. Throughout my entire wedding day I repeated to several people how amazing all of the flowers looked, from our bouquets, to the arch during the ceremony, to the center pieces at dinner. I literally could not stop admiring all of them. And when the photos came back the flowers were even more beautiful than I remembered. And more than that, Rita was an absolute pleasure to work with. She answered all of my questions and made tweaks along the way when I had new ideas. She offered her expertise and made me feel so confident in her work. I had no doubt everything would look perfect on the big day. Seeing her at the venue on my wedding day made it even more special, and her sincere excitement to be a part of it was so evident. I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful day!

I am so happy I met Rita at an open house at Lavender & Old Lace in fall 2015 and I am very thankful she was available to be our florist for our wedding in February 2016. Rita did an outstanding job with the flowers for our wedding. All the bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, pew markers and floral arrangements looked even more beautiful than I imagined and they stayed fresh and healthy all day long. In addition to doing all the flowers for our wedding, Rita also set up the tulle/pew markers and aisle runner in our church auditorium, which saved us so much time, and it made our decorating responsibilities much easier. She also set up the floral table centerpieces at our dinner reception venue (Lavender & Old Lace), provided all the candles for the tables and decorated the head table for us. We also appreciated Rita’s organization and attention to detail and how she was always so kind and welcoming whenever we came to her house to discuss our floral needs. We couldn’t have been happier with our flowers, and we highly recommend Rita’s Floral Designs!

We had a last minute wedding

I would recommend Rita to anyone who needs a wedding florist. When I first met with Rita, I didn't even know what to ask for. Apparently I don't have the "bride" gene so I didn't even have pictures to show her. Rita sat with my parents, fiance and I and patiently helped us figure things out. My parents mostly handled the arrangements for flowers so when my wedding day came along, I really didn't know what to expect. The flowers ended up being one of the highlights of the whole event for me. The bouquets were just stunning and all of the arrangements far exceeded what I had pictured in my head. Rita is a true artist and a professional. She did a magnificent job and was a pleasure to work with.

I was blown away by Rita's customer service and floral arrangements, making me so thankful that I hired her! I met with Rita for a no pressure consultation and knew she was the florist for me - she is sweet as pie and has literally hundreds of thank you's from previous clients for the excellent floral designs that she had provided to them. I arrived at my venue about three hours before my wedding start time and Rita had already delivered all of flowers and laid them out in a very organized fashion. She was even kind enough to place my bouquet, and my bridesmaids bouquets, in vases with water to keep them lively through the night. I can't say enough good things about Rita and offer my highest recommendation to hire!

Rita is an absolute JOY to work with. She is very easy to work with, and if you already have a vision of what you would like your flowers and centerpieces to look like, Rita gets it right and perfect. If you are not sure, she has wonderful suggestions on what would look great with your colors, decor etc. I had a specific centerpiece look in mind for my Fall '15 wedding, and when I saw the centerpieces on my guest's tables, I cried. They were absolutely beautiful and PERFECT! I want one for my kitchen table every day! I just watched my wedding video, and said out loud the other day "Aww. I miss my flowers".

Planning a wedding can be extremely stressful for most. Whenever I spoke with Rita (either by email or in person), she always made me feel so calm and worry-free. I even told my mom to call Rita once or twice when I noticed she was getting overwhelmed with the planning, and needed to relax!

Rita definitely loves what she does, and it shows in her work.

I cannot say enough great things about Rita!! My fiancé and I had a beautiful Valentine's Day wedding and Rita's arrangements made our wedding day complete! We had a tight budget for flowers and were getting discouraged after talking to vendors who would not work with us because of our small budget. Rita was more than happy to work with us and took the time to update our invoice multiple times to fit within our allotted amount. I sat down with her and went over my Pinterest board so she could see the look I was envisioning for our wedding day. When we arrived at the venue and saw all of the beautiful flowers, I could not have been more excited! All of the colors were bright and beautiful and were exactly what we wanted! Our wedding flower was a purple orchid and I am so glad we were able to get orchids in our budget! Rita, thank you so much for making our wedding day even more beautiful and for all of your help during our wedding planning process! We are forever grateful!

Rita did an amazing job on our flowers at The Secret Garden!! The flowers initially weren't a big concern for me as we didn't want to have a ton of flowers (just the standard bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and one large piece for our alter that transitioned to our sweetheart table), and it wasn't an area I wanted to spend a lot of time or money worrying about. When I saw reviews for Rita, I knew I wanted to meet with her because it seemed like she could help me still make our minimal flowers have a big impact. She is the sweetest lady and fantastic at what she does. I showed her a picture of a bridal bouquet I wanted mine to resemble, and she brought it to life beautifully. Other than my bouquet being calle lillies and some sort of pink flowers (we ended up using roses), I told her I trusted her judgement as the professional as to what would look good together. She created a beautiful centerpiece for the top of our alter and it looked great on our sweetheart table afterwards - I loved the dual functioning flowers! She was at the venue in plenty of time dropping them off, and she even labeled all of our corsages and boutonnieres for the correct people as everyone had slight variances depending on their role in the wedding. And three weeks after our wedding, I got a text message from one of my bridesmaids showing the calle lillies from her bouquet still looking as fresh and vibrant as they did the day of the wedding. I highly recommend her for whatever flower service you need - she was well-priced, very helpful and friendly, and uses amazingly fresh flowers. Thank you Rita!!

I can't say enough good things about Rita she well over exceeded my expectations! I told her my vision and she must of seen it everything was exactly how I wanted it! the flowers were so fresh and absolutely perfect. Rita went well out of her way to find me a particular flower (they were not easy to find due to the season) but none of the less she found them and they were perfect!

Rita did a wonderful job with our wedding flowers and I would highly recommend her! My bouquet was gorgeous as were the bridesmaids bouquets, the boutonnieres, corsages, aisle flowers and centerpieces!! She was great to work with as we had a lot of back and forth in coming up with the final design to fit within our budget. I even added a few things at the last minute and she took it in stride. Rita was recommended by my day-of coordinator, and I am so thankful to have found her. I wanted very simple table arrangements but more interesting bouquets for my bridesmaids and me. I had a couple of inspiration pictures that I showed her, and she came up with more suggestions that incorporated the things that I liked without being overly expensive. She was also able to include boutonnieres and corsages, which I didn't think my budget would allow for.

I was thrilled with the results on our wedding day - the flowers looked fantastic and we had no issues at all. My bouquet held up extremely well and smelled great to boot!

I am so glad we found Rita's Floral Design for our wedding! Not only was she very reasonably priced, her flowers were gorgeous! We used garden roses in the bride bouquet and I have never had such aromatic roses before. She dropped all of our personal flowers off before delivering the rest to the venue. I am so happy to have found Rita's Floral Designs after meeting with some of the other flower 'bullies' around the area. In other meetings, I felt very pushed into specific flowers or colors, but Rita was the first one to truly listen to what I liked and wanted for the wedding. She also handled my indecisiveness with understanding and patience and made last minute changes without batting an eyelash. Truly a professional! The final product was absolutely gorgeous and more than I ever expected! And at less than 1/2 the price as the other locations I had visited! Rita's Floral Designs is the only place I would ever go!

Rita is an amazing florist! Her style is versatile to fit any bride’s needs. She was able to capture exactly what I envisioned for my wedding day. The bouquets were flawless, and the centerpieces were gorgeous! Everyone commented on how perfect they were! Rita is also great to work with because she is so kind and thoughtful. She never made me feel pressure, nor did she try to add things that I didn’t need. She was able to get what I wanted within my budget. Rita was awesome. We planned our wedding in only 3 months and flowers got left till the end. Rita was busy but was able to accomodate us so graciously! When we met we gave her every possible thing we would want, she had great recommendations for us for flowers, decorations, etc. We ended up only going with flowers for the ceremony (bouquests, groomsmen, corsages, etc) so we could DIY some of the ceremony decordations, and she was responsive and accomodating to all my last minute emails adding items and requesting changes. She couldn't get one of the flowers we talked about at the last minute, so she called and made sure I was OK with any substitution she made. My flowers were GORGEOUS and just want I wanted.

Rita did a wonderful job with my decor and flowers, she made exactly what I wanted and was very accommodating. She is patient, prompt with responses and very professional. I am very happy with the way everything turned out. She made the delivery of my bridal party flowers (bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages) to my resort, then delivered the rest to the venue and set up everything. It was a wonderful experience working with Rita for my sons wedding. The bride wanted a unique bouquet and her idea for flowers for her garden wedding were well recieved and actually made better. Rita was there in the most professional, courteous and friendly way. We were so very pleased by her beautiful creations. She drove to Clarkdale to deliver all the flowers and arrangements and even provided extra flowers.

Rita did an amazing job with our flowers. I had a vision of what I wanted and she worked with us to fit my vision in our budget. I don't know how many times I emailed her changing my bouquet..She helped me out with sending me some pictures because i was so undecided of what color bouquet I wanted. She said the flowers are going to come out beautiful you will see. Once I walked into my reception and saw everything put together, I couldn't believe my eyes. Rita is amazing. When I was planning my wedding I never really thought about what I wanted the flowers to look like. I just knew I didn't want a standard structured perfectly placed look. I didn't give Rita a lot to work with. She was able to create exactly what I was picturing but couldn't describe. She was very professional and so kind. The flowers were unbelievable! The day before the wedding when she was putting all the pieces together, she was not happy with how the flowers looked. She emailed us right away and recommended a different flower to use. She didnt even charge us for this change. The prices she charges are beyond reasonable and she is very flexible. She cares so much about her work and everyone talked about how beautiful the flowers were. If you need flowers for any type of event, use Rita. The quality is magnificent and just as nice as the top dollar vendors. Also, she let us "borrow" her vases for the event for no rental charge! Unheard of and unbelievably awesome! There was a problem with the flowers on the canopy/chuppah. I must mention that if you are getting married under one of these DO NOT have the flowers in the middle, right above in the front of the canopy. Only put the flowers on either sides. It will cover you faces for photos. This was not Ritas fault at all because it is what we requested, but for all future brides and grooms, keep this in mind NOT TO DO THAT, because then your photos will turn out better and people can actually see you during the wedding. Overall we loved Ritas work. Weddings can be perfect but rita sure came close to that happening! Thanks Rita!!

We met Rita at an event and were immediately very taken by her. Not only was her work beautiful, but she also seemed like a very sincere and genuine person that really likes what she does. Our initial assessment of Rita was absolutely accurate. She has been in the industry for a long time making her very experienced and reliable, but is still full of passion and unique, exciting, fresh ideas. Rita is an absolutely amazing florist. I told her my vision and asked her if my bright colors would work. She said absolutely and immediately had many really cool ideas to make my vision a reality and to make it unique and personal. She spent a lot of time with us on our consultation. While looking through her previous work, we found that she was the florist for a friend’s wedding that we had attended several years earlier. Not only is she an artist that can bring your vision to life, but she is also extremely caring and accommodating. It is totally clear that she loves what she does. She was always available to answer questions from us no matter how small. My Mom contacted her on several occasions and said that she was so helpful and friendly. It meant a lot to me that she was so willing to help my family when they had questions. One of my favorite things about by wedding was my bouquet—it was beautiful. Every time I see a picture with my bouquet in it, I zoom in and look at it up close. It was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined it would be! My Mom loved her bracelet corsage—what a cool idea! My Grandma was in love with her corsage, and she is not easily impressed! I received many compliments from my guests about the beautiful center pieces. My ceremony décor was stunning thanks to Rita’s amazing work. My cake received its final touches from Rita and it looked absolutely perfect! She made my wedding vision a reality and her work was honestly one of my favorite things about my entire wedding. My wedding would not have been the same without Rita!

Rita was so wonderful to work with!! She had exceptional knowledge of varieties of flowers, what would last through the day, and how to create the vision I had. She also was wonderful with trying to help keep us within our budget, and had suggestions for what would give us the look we wanted but still keep us within the price we needed. We met with six+ florists to ensure we got a good idea of pricing, and she was by far the most reasonable. Her work was just amazing.. I will never forget the feeling I had on the day of my wedding when I was in my dressing room just having my makeup finished and Rita walked in the room carrying our bouquets. They were far more beautiful than I had even imagined, and I teared up instantly. I was so excited to have such gorgeous flowers for our wedding and just truly could not stop staring at them as we finished getting ready. Rita's Floral Designs BY FAR exceeded my expectations! Rita was AMAZING! I had no idea where to start with the wedding flowers. Rita knows every question to ask, and she created a floral design down to the smallest detail. I was constantly emailing Rita asking questions, adding to the order, changing the order, and she always responded quickly. No matter what idea I came up with, Rita found a way to make it happen. She created amazing bouquets, column arrangements for our ceremony, pomanders for our aisle and for the flower girls, centerpieces, and she even decorated the staircase leading down to the ceremony. At our initial consultation, my daughter showed Rita a magazine photo of the bouquet she liked, Rita suggested a few other flowers to add after seeing the picture of her dress. The bouquet was absolutely stunning!!

Rita was amazing to work with and her beautiful floral designs added so much to our wedding. What can I say about Rita and her work, she took my breath away with the flower arrangements and bouquets she made for my wedding. My first appointment with Rita was the best experience I had. She had researched the wedding site and had some wonderfully creative ideas for my special day. She was very resonable, very easy to work with and was great about making changes the closer we got to the big day. Rita Did an outstading Job on our daughters wedding. The flowers were above anything we had expected. We went in and she spend numerous hours helping us design our daughers (Martini them wedding) there were so vibrant colorful and beautifully fresh. The brides flowers were fresh orchids that looked better than any magazine I had ever seen. Everyone complliment us on the flowers and they definately made the pictures stand out. Thank you Rita for such a outstanding job.

Absolutely beautiful flowers! Florist was able to help me to enviosion what I wanted for a boquet, even when I had different ideas, she was able to help me put it together and the flowers turned out beautiful! I have so many complements on my boquet!

Rita did an Awesome job on my flowers for my wedding! i loved that we were able to communicate through email and had no issues. she made sure that the flowers were at the venue on time and everything was taking care of promptly. i had many changes which needed to be done to my order and Rita was very understanding i would choose her again in the future for any of my flower needs.

Rita was great to work with. The arrangements were beautiful and reasonbly priced. There was some question about how many people would beed coursages and she was very flexible with my order. She communicated often to ensure there wouldn't be any misunderstandings. I would recommend her for any wedding and I am certain that if you use her, you won't be disappointed.

Yet another perfect 5 star rating for Rita. My wedding was 04/03/2010, just a little over a week ago and Rita made it BEAUTIFUL! My bouquet was everthing I dreamt of, the flowers at the ceremony where perfect and my centerpieces where to die for. She did such a beautiful job, I can not believe how far my small florist budget went! One of my coworkers got married on 03/13/2010 and I attended the wedding and it was beautiful as well. Brides you need Rita for wedding.
