Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant Reviews

We held our reception at the Agave Room above the Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant. Our original wedding venue was destroyed by the floods (Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch) and with one week notice the Agave Room took us in for our wedding. We had an amazing time and I couldn't have asked for better! The venue is beautiful and the staff is very friendly! Not to mention they are ridiculously affordable. I highly recommend!!

The Rio was a wonderful place to have our reception. The rooms are upstairs above the main restaurant. There are two rooms which can be transformed into one big room. They allowed us to use their CD player for free, so we made mix CDs of our favorite songs. However we had to do the set up, even though they said they would. (I was setting up tables in my wedding dress). We had a buffet but the way they set that up blocked the entrance so it was hard for people to go in and out. But even with these few problems, The Rio made up for it. They gave us extra drinks and food for our guests:)
