Newborn Photos
Rick photographed our wedding and we were thrilled to have him come back and take photos of our family. Rick came over to our house and once again made us feel comfortable and at ease and have fun taking photos with our baby girl. The photos came back beyond breathtaking and I cannot wait to get them printed and hung in our house.

Rick is an artist, and Emma and I were absolutely delighted by his ability to artfully capture our life in New Mexico in our photos. For our pre-wedding photos, we dragged him on a short hike out into the desert right before a storm. Braving the rain, he took dozens of amazing shots of us out on the old railroad trestles against the storm clouds. During the wedding itself, he was everywhere. He did such a good job of capturing all the different attendees and various moments we hadn't even noticed. Going through the photos afterwards was like getting to see the wedding from a whole new vantage. We kept being like, "I didn't know she danced with HIM!" and "Oh god. We've got to print that one out and send it to them for Christmas." All in all: amazing service, amazing product. -

Rick and his team exceeded all of our expectations. They were a ton of fun to work with which made the whole experience so much easier and enjoyable. They were very professional and even ended up staying well beyond the time they were supposed to leave to make sure they got every shot to help us keep these memories forever. I can't recommend them enough, if you want an amazing photography team then look no further! -

It was such a joy working with Rick and his team. From the very beginning, it was so easy to communicate with Rick. He listened to us, and was able to accommodate anything we needed. He gave us suggestions, but ultimately let us be ourselves and do our own thing. He is extremely easy going, and captured absolutely beautiful pictures from the multiple events he photographed for us. All of our wedding guests were also so impressed with him, and made it a point to tell us. We could not recommend him more!! -

BEFORE THE WEDDING- We were fortunate enough to discover Rick Lash Photography (https://www.ricklash.com) through the Wedding Wire page of our venue. We sent Rick an inquiry and soon began our adventures of pre-planning our wedding in the Adirondack Mountains. We set up a video call with Rick for a meet and greet and immediately clicked. He was kind, humble and professional. We shared our vision for our big day from start to finish. He was receptive to our requests, informative and easy to communicate with. His photos speak for themselves and we were grateful he was available to capture our wedding day.
DURING THE WEDDING- Rick and his team were outstanding from morning to sundown. From getting ready at our respective locations, to the First Look, to our outdoor ceremony and reception under the stars, Rick and his team delightfully snapped hundreds of photos of us, our family and friends. They were diligent, creative, thoughtful and always ready to press click at a moment’s notice. Our vendors were stunned by the beautiful photos taken of them. Our guests complimented their ability to blend in while snapping photos, whether posed or candid. We are delighted that Rick was with us for an unforgettable wedding experience.
AFTER THE WEDDING- We were astonished by our wedding photos once edited and finalized. To our surprise, we received a link for a preview of photos in our inbox the day after our wedding and the quality of those photos were impeccable. Wow, we were amazed! To be able to recap highlights of the wedding was surreal at such a quick turnaround. Within two months, we were ecstatic to view hundreds of breathtaking images in our album.
Our reactions to our photos were priceless and there were lots of oohs and ahhs. We shared them with our family and friends who also had nothing but extraordinary compliments. The ultimate souvenirs were photos of couples and families from Cocktail Hour and our Reception. Rick and his team captured the true essence of a bride and groom on their wedding day.

Effortless and enjoyable experience
Rick captured our wedding day entirely -- our emotions, the location, the joy we felt, and the bond between us. He made us, our friends, and our families comfortable and delivered high-quality photos -- including some sneak peeks we could share shortly after the wedding! Rick Lash Photography is the best!
I had a great experience working with Rick for my wedding - he was so professional and creative and blended in seamlessly to the wedding festivities. He captured some really amazing moments without us feeling like we were being photographed. The level of commitment and professionalism really shows in his work. He also let me give ideas on shots I wanted and didn't give up until I was completely satisfied. I am a total control freak and I was so comfortable letting him do his thing and totally trusted that he would be thorough. Besides getting all the amazing photos of my husband and I/the ceremony/my family, he got some really stunning portraits of my friends that are some of my favorite photos. I really couldn't recommend Rick enough - he did an amazing job!! -

Rick is the consummate professional - all of his photos were beautiful, elegant, fun, and uniquely us. We had such a great time taking our posed photos that we often forgot about the process entirely. Before the wedding, he also took the time to get to know us and our style, which really came through in the final shots. Over the years, I noticed that some photographers were always in the bride and groom's faces during the wedding, which, in my opinion, detracted from the overall ambience of the day. Rick was a ninja; we always knew he was there, but he blended into the background as well. My wife and I just looked through our photos again a few days ago and remembered how much fun it was. He perfectly captured our experience and we hope you have the best day with the best photographer by your side - Rick Lash! -

Rick and his team are incredibly talented. They did both our engagement and wedding photos, and we couldn't be happier with the results. They successfully captured our personalities and emotions in candid photos, and the lighting and scenery came out perfectly in the staged ones. They were very good at being discreet, getting shots that appeared to be right in the thick of the action but without being intrusive. They are very professional, have a creative vision and are easy to work with. I highly recommend them! -

Integrity and Results
Rick and his team did a phenomenal job for our wedding--I can't say enough great things! The wedding was at a large, family-owned property with many 'must have' shots/ideas over 3 days. Not only did Rick understand our vision, but he executed flawlessly. Rick did not waver even after being 'on' for 14 hours straight, several days in a row, and always managed to get a smile out of our most phlegmatic guests.
Looking back, all that's left of our wedding is Rick's photos, and I'm so glad we that we chose him as our wedding photographer. It's not a decision that should be made lightly, but know that you are in great hands. Hopefully I don't need his services a second time, but if I do, he's the guy! :) -

Captures the essence of every moment
Rick Lash has a amazing style that captures personality, light, surrounding and emotion like no other photographer I've worked with. Professionally, I work with photographers regularly. When looking at options for our wedding I saw photographers with a nice style, but many were very similar in their approach and end product. Rick's is very different. I just attended a wedding where there were 4 professional photographers that seemed to be in the way of everything. Rick was so stealthy that we didn't even notice him yet when we got our pictures we were stunned that he got the images he did. I can't recommend him enough. Check out his portfolio. You will be very glad you did. -
