RWC was the perfect venue for our wedding. We rented the entire estate for a night, and every aspect was beautiful! We got married at the gazebo, and it was a beautiful day. It is a great value, and it is a beautiful place tucked back into Richardson. We would highly recommend this venue!

Fabulous place to get married and the price is right! We had planned an outdoor wedding and the week of the wedding we changed the outdoor venue from the arch way to the gazebo - and they were very flexible with this request. The morning of, we changed it again from outside to inside due to a monsoon rainstorm that happened on our wedding day. So we were married in the Founder's Hall and had a lovely wedding ceremony and reception there - we loved it and it felt very cozy and romantic. I was very impressed with Susan Long (the wedding coordinator) and Wilfred (the groundskeeper) - they were supportive, warm, and friendly throughout the entire process and when we had to change the location from outside to inside, we extremely accommodating given that it was such short notice (the morning of the wedding). So glad that we were married here - beautiful grounds which made for a lovely wedding. We used the house to get ready in and hang out before the wedding - which was perfect for our family and wedding party to hang out in!

I loved this venue! The Clubhouse was beautiful and Susan was wonderful to work with. I shopped quite a few locations and was so happy that RWC was available on our date! Everything was perfect for our special day! We had about 45 people at our wedding and the size was perfect! We also used At Your Service Catering and I would also highly recommend them. It was a fabulous day and you know what they say... it is all about location, location, location!!!

Gorgeous venue! We had our wedding ceremony in the arbors area outside, everything was shady and lovely, but there is also a gazebo available for ceremonies. We used the Founder's Hall for the reception. You are guaranteed a certain amount of prep time, but they were flexible with us and as long as you get approval ahead of time they will let you come earlier if it isn't in use. Plenty of parking, lovely circular drive out front, and some great spots for photo ops!

This is an absolutely great place for brides who just need a place for the party they have in their heads. I thought it was an incredible value, and they were pretty good to work with, but there are of course some rules and restrictions, as there are with any place. Perhaps the biggest restriction here is that there are only a few caterers permitted, and half of them never responded to inquiries, but we did find one that was excellent. The perk to them only using approved caterers is that the caterers are familiar with the venue, have their own keys and really take care of everything.
We did have a little trouble with communication, but I can't say there were any surprises as the date approached, so I guess everything got communicated eventually, just perhaps not as smoothly as I would have liked. We only used the Founder's Hall for our reception and did not have the ceremony here. I was adamant about not having anything outside, but there are some good photo spots that we did take advantage of. There was plenty of parking, but it was a challenge making sure people knew to go all the way around to the back of the property for easiest access to Founders Hall. Apparently my coordinator started by putting balloons on the fence, but was told that belonged to the golf course and she had to take them down. So most people parked pretty far away because they took the first spaces available. It all worked out though :) I would definitely recommend this place as it is one of the cheapest around for what you get. Their sound system was perfect for us because we didn't want a DJ. We just had an iPod with all the music we wanted and a friend controlled it when we didn't just let it shuffle.

This is a great place to get married or have any event. They have a gorgeous gazeebo that backs up to a lolvely golf course. The grounds are extremely well tended and offer many locations for photographs and special spots. They have space for small and large events and can scale it to your needs accordingly. The only frustrating thing I found with them is that you have to use one of their approved caterers and cake people, which isn't a lot of peope to chose from . . . fortunately, the vendors on the list are really outstanding!

I was completely disappointed in this venue! My wedding day was not smooth and I had to call the venue several times to reconfirm that I had even rented the space, what layout we wanted for the ceremony and the list goes on. We were told we could set up early for both the wedding and ceremony, however the grounds keeper of the venue was not told and literally watched us like hawks as if we were intruding and needed to get out! It was very unnerving! When asked how he was he said horrible bad day...strange! They also apparently let Darla our original planner go and or she left and was replaced by someone named Linda. Linda had the times completely messed up for the ceremony (again) and the chairs were not in the correct placement we had choosen for our outside wedding. Darla was not responsive probably because she was aware of what was coming and didn't care and Linda had to be told at least 6 times what time our wedding actually was! Apparently our venue contract was no where to be found and both Darla and Linda couldn't be bothered to help with any questions! Another horrible disaster was the inhouse catering options they allowed you to choose from. We met Melissa from Bridal Concepts whom at first was very helpful and showed us pictures of beautiful buffets and menu choices, we were sold. However when our special day came both her and her staff were very rude! The buffet looked nothing of what we ordered, they brought out tin foil covered plates in front of guests and instead of replacing the empty dishes shoveled more food on top! We were charged for 70 people eating and amazingly enough they brought one 15 lb turkey to feed 70 people, the pasta they "created" was classico, yep saw that one myself and she was very disrespectful to both mothers of the groom and bride. I suggest you look else where if you are planning the wedding of your dreams cause this is not the place to be!! I was totally embarassed and my special day was ruined because of the lack of communication of staff replacement for this venue and reception, not to mention the disaster of a caterer!
