Rich was very professional and fun to work with. He showed genuine care and love for his work, and it came through in the resulting pictures. He was willing to be flexible and adjust as the weather changed the plans for the day. He was like a gun slinger with his two camera holsters. My mother was skeptical at first, but once she saw the pictures she was completely happy with the outcome. The second picture really shows his dedication to get The Shot! -

Rich has photographed many of our friends weddings and when it came to ours there was no question- we were booking Rich!! He was so helpful preparing for our big day with a meeting and organizing our families and priorities. He made our big blended family easy to line up for family photos and captured every detail of fun throughout the whole night!!! Rich took every detail to heart and absolutely blew us away with the final product!!! Bonus: not afraid of a challenge, not afraid of getting in awkward places, not afraid of busy dance floors!! -

When my wife and I were looking for someone to document our wedding day, Rich's portfolio clearly stood out above the rest. We knew that photography was an area we were willing to spend a little more money on in order to get top-notch results, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. He went above and beyond to travel to both our engagement shoot and wedding, and prioritized getting the right shot over rushing to hit his time commitment to us.
We went to a different wedding a few weeks before ours where the photographer monopolized the couple's time to the point where they could hardly enjoy the day. We communicated to Rich that we did NOT want this for event, and he was perfectly respectful of our wishes, only requesting as much time as needed to get the shots while blending into the background for the rest of the day. It was a perfect balance that allowed us to be fully present, but still get amazing images to remember it by after. If you want the best of the best, go with Rich Paprocki. -

Book with Rich!
Rich was recommended to us by a few friends, and after looking at his work and meeting with him, we knew we had to book with him! We loved that Rich is able to capture wedding photos that look like art. Rich listened to what we wanted, and delivered better than we could have ever imagined. We also did an engagement shoot with Rich last year which we also loved. Rich and his second shooter Dorian were amazing to work with on the day of the wedding, and even got our less than photogenic relatives smiling and looking great in photos. My husband really wanted to take wedding photos on the carousel in Charlotte, and Rich and Dorian went above and beyond to take these pictures. Dorian even rode the carousel with us! Now the hard part is deciding which of our amazing pictures to get printed and put in an album! -

Choosing Rich to shoot our wedding was a no-brainer! He did a photo shoot with us in the past and he made this shy, awkward, extremely self conscious girl feel so incredibly comfortable! And what’s even better? I LOVED the pictures! I’ve never had a picture of me that I really liked. Our wedding photos were out of this world beautiful. He absolutely knocked it out of the park with the posed portraits… but the little hidden moments, the candids, the “behind the scenes”… those were everything!
Not to mention he is super fun to work with and had us laughing so much! -

TLDR: Stop reading this and book Rich!
From our first meeting with Rich we knew we were in good hands! He was excited by our unique & challenging wedding venue, incredibly organized, and an overall great person. Did I mention that he loves cats :-)
Seriously though.. Rich and his second shooter went above & beyond to make our day special and run smoothly! We just received a few teaser photos and they are better than we could have ever hoped for - Rich is just brilliant. Please do yourself a favor and book him for your wedding! -

Incredible Photographer
I highly recommend Rich Paprocki Photography to anyone in search. Rich was a pleasure to work throughout the entire planning process and knew exactly what perfect moments to capture. He was always easy to reach and always responded to any questions I had within a few hours. On the day of the wedding, he took complete control and made sure people were where they needed to be. We contacted Rich after browsing his work and viewing photos from other weddings he photographed.His work really stood out from other photographers and we couldn't wait to meet him and dive in, The first time meeting with him we immediately kicked it off and felt a great connection to him. He really understood the vibe we wanted and helped us make it happen. We couldn't be more pleased with Rich and how everything turned out from our engagement shoot to our wedding day. Rich went out of his way to capture the perfect shots in the elements for us and his work stands above and beyond anything we expected. Rich would end every email outlining the exact steps that would happen next, so we were never left wondering what was going on. It made us feel that we were being guided by a true professional through a process he was a master at! On our wedding day, we had prepared a game plan with Rich which made us feel comfortable and excited to get all of the shots we wanted. Rich effortlessly managed two large families and a wild amount of family photos in a very short and efficient manner of time that was extremely helpful. All throughout the night he was all over the dance floor and other areas of the venue capturing the essence of the night. At one point we had some fog outside of our venue and he quickly took us outside and captured some of our favorite photos. It was an epic intimate session between the two of us with Rich directing and coaching us and the pictures he created are jaw dropping. Rich stayed with us for the entire day, showing up early and staying well past midnight to ensure he got every moment possible of the day for us which meant a lot. Rich went above and beyond every single chance he could and there simply are not enough words to share how amazing it was to work with him and how effortless and easy he made everything for us. When we received the pictures (way more than expected because Rich is the man) we opened a bottle of wine and had a date night watching them on the big screen. It was almost like re-living the night and seeing everything again; it was like a dream. The pictures are the most amazing, professional, beautiful, candid, fun, stunning and just everything you want in a picture, Rich delivers.We have gotten more compliments on the photos and likes and shares than I thought was humanly possible. Every emotion is felt going through our wedding album from pure happiness to laughter to tears of joy, Rich captured it all. To sum Rich and our experience up I would simply say he is worth every penny and then some. We are probably leaving some things out because there were so many amazing things Rich did for us throughout our journey with him. He has our highest recommendation to anyone looking for a photographer, especially a wedding! -

To say that we are absolutely in love with our wedding photos would be a huge understatement! We sought Rich Paprocki Photography out because of his editorial style and amazing use of lighting. He shot both our engagement and our wedding photos, and we ended up with finals that were the perfect mix of dark and moody, interesting pieces of artwork, and fun, sweet candids of my husband and I and our wedding guests--exactly what we were hoping for! We loved all of the wedding venue/little detail shots he snapped too, which was a huge priority to us as we didn't want to forget all the little things that made the day special. He gave great direction for our couple photos, and faded into the background when the party began to get some beautiful candids without being in the way. I was actually amazed by how intimate some of the photos were considering we didn't even know he was there for some of them! And, I have to add, beyond the actual product he provided, he was an absolute joy to spend 10 hours of our wedding day with. He made us feel super comfortable and was silly at exactly the right moments, but never broke professionalism. We got married 3 months ago, and literally everyone who brings up our wedding also mentions how amazing Rich was! We're already thinking up excuses on how we can book him again, it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! -

Rich's photos are stunning. He answered all of our questions and was very patient with helping us get the contract set up. He also traveled to the wedding with no hiccups. He and his teammate, Michael, who shot with him on the wedding day were kind people who put us at ease. He got us the photos back very quickly and they were beyond anything we could imagine. Most of the wedding was shot inside and in a dark church. The lighting in the photos looks beautiful and they brought their own lighting equipment which they were very good at setting up and removing quickly. It was also freezing cold and they also handled that like champs. I would definitely check out his website and see examples of his work. It is very beautiful and he is a true professional who really works hard through the day to get you amazing photos. -

Rich Paprocki is, hands down, the best choice of photographer and overall vendor that we could have possibly chosen for our wedding. From the moment we met with Rich, we felt comfortable that we could trust him to capture our day. Looking through his portfolio, there wasn’t a single photo we didn’t love. We met with him over zoom, which no other photographer took the time to do. He adapts his talent to capture everything you spend so much time preparing for your wedding day. He was completely professional while also letting his personality and humor shine. He puts you at ease and makes everyone comfortable in front of the camera. He goes to great lengths to get the shot while always prioritizing the bride’s and groom’s wants. Leading up to the wedding, he provides you with everything you need. It takes the guess work out of it all and he does the work for you. He sent us an ideal timeline for the hours we chose, a shot list of what he suggests making sure the day runs smoothly, and you don’t miss out on the pictures you want. When our limo bus ran late and the time between our ceremony and reception ran short, he asked what time we wanted to join cocktail hour. He made sure to get through every last thing, so we didn’t miss a moment of our special day. From the moment he arrived to the moment he left, he never stopped capturing each moment and keeping things creative. Even when the wedding was over, he was still responsive giving an accurate time of when the pictures would be ready. Once they arrived, we couldn’t stop looking through them. It was the perfect way to relive our wedding. It’s been a few months since our wedding and our guests still rave about how impressed they were with our photographer and how beautiful the picture turned out. Rich goes above and beyond and we will forever be grateful we chose him! -

Amazing all around!
Rich is the BEST. My husband and I had to postpone our wedding due to Covid and Rich was so flexible and understanding when booking a new date. Before our big celebration, we decided to elope on Ampersand Mtn in the Adirondacks. Rich hiked with us and photographed that experience and we are beyond happy that we did. Rich will do anything to get the perfect shot and I cannot recommend him enough. Rich has such a great personality and will make you feel very comfortable. We are so happy we booked with him. Rich did so much to ensure our wedding pictures came out incredibly. He gave us a stunning amount of photos in the end (over 600), and there’s no filler in there! Almost every shot is fantastic. We had an amazing amount of trouble whittling the album down to anything approaching a reasonable number of pics for, say, a Facebook album. He brought just the right amount of creativity and verve to this job while still ensuring the major bases were thoroughly covered (for example, we can’t tell you how helpful his premade “suggested list of family shots” was).
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with Rich, from our initial meeting right through to the night of our wedding, and we’ve never seen another wedding photographer bring more energy, enthusiasm, and skill to a project than he dedicated to ours (and we’ve hit like 6 weddings this year, so we’ve got a decent sample to compare against!). Given the once-in-a-lifetime nature of these shots, he can rest easy in the knowledge that he is guaranteed to always be our favorite photographer. His work is going to be displayed in our home for the rest of our lives, and in all likelihood, our future childrens’ as well!
We hope Rich never stops bringing your one-of-a-kind passion and energy to the Rochester wedding scene! -

Oh hey - you just stumbled upon a really great photographer! We had a great experience working with Rich. He's fun, full of energy, creative, and flexible. Added bonus? The man loves cats! A true cat lover! We worked with Rich for our wedding photography. After meeting him for a beer to get to know each other a bit, we shared some of our desires and ideas. We visited our venues with him, where he scouted out places to take photos, inspected lighting and texture, and suggested some ideas for enhancing the spaces. He helped us set up a timeline for our wedding day, and then was the person who helped keep us on that timeline. He was easy to work with and put us at ease throughout the day. He worked with our ideas and remembered that we wanted to do things that we ended up forgetting up during the hubbub of the day. He also brought along a really cool assistant photographer. We got photo samples back in a very timely manner (within a week I think), and then got the final edits back within the promised time period. We are very pleased with ourselves for choosing Rich - and look back on our photos more frequently than we expected to. If you're looking for professional, creative, easy to work with photographer with mad skill - this is your dude. Plus, he likes cats. -
