    So accommodating

    Kristen and her staff were so accommodating and I appreciated that Kristen was honest with us from the beginning and always had an input. I didn’t have a wedding planner so I relied on the advice from her the most. The venue was beautiful, food was delicious, and we had such a blast at our wedding. At one point Kristen offered to leave the venue to fetch some last minute items that I needed for my dress and it meant alot to me that she did that. My fiancé and I are so grateful. Thank you!

    The Most Beautiful Day

    Where do I begin? Rhodes Ranch was seriously the perfect place to have our wedding. Celeste, the wedding planner there, did an amazing job at giving us everything we wanted. We wanted a way less traditional wedding with a consumption bar and passed appetizers. We even added a taco bar. We customized so much for a great price. Celeste has so many wedding decorations to work with and add to our day to save money. She really did make everything come together so beautifully without any stress. My husband and I plan to have anniversary parties there every year now.

    Incredible Value!

    Where do I begin? This venue was everything we could have wanted and then some. We are from the Chicagoland area but wanted a Las Vegas wedding near my new mother-in-law. We found Rhodes Ranch by recommendation, and we had no idea how lucky we were! From the very beginning, Celeste made the process so seamless. She worked with us from afar to create the non-traditional taco bar reception of our dreams and helped us to arrange a rehearsal brunch at the venue for the day before the wedding. The quote we received was more reasonable than any other location we priced out and it included not only incredible service but access to decor and extras that we did not have to purchase and send over. On the big day, everything was PERFECT! The tables looked straight out of my imagination, the ceremony space was gorgeous, and the “extras” were placed perfectly. The staff were so attentive and made sure that my husband and I had food and drinks while we took pictures and mingled with our guests. Celeste also connected us with our DJ, photo booth, and recommended a hair and makeup team that totally nailed it. All in all, we couldn’t imagine a more perfect location for our wedding or a more professional execution.

    We had the most amazing wedding at Rhodes Ranch! The venue is stunning. We lucked out and got an incredibly perfect day weather wise! Celeste, our wedding coordinator was so helpful, flexible and on the ball!
    We had a small wedding with mostly family and close friends and the space was perfect for us. Everyone complimented the food, the space the staff and the service! We are so pleased!

    Kristin and Celeste were great at responding to our messages and helping us plan from far away. They were able to help find all of the things we needed and decorate to our specifications. We didn't have to set up or take down anything! They went out of their way to make sure things ran smoothly day of. I can't say enough positive things about them. All of our guests commented on how amazing the food and venue were and our day was perfect and stress free. I would do it all over again!

    Beautiful venue, great attentive service and very accommodating!!! All vendors that were recommended were awesome!! DJ made our reception super fun and was very accommodating with our requests and needs. Photographer was awesome as well. I cannot express how special Kristen Raferty had made our special day one to remember!!!

    Without a doubt the best decision my wife and I made was to get married at Rhodes Ranch. In all honesty, 5 stars doesn't do enough justice for Kristen and her staff. Kristen did an amazing job helping us from day 1! Before getting to Rhodes Ranch, my fiancé, now wife had seen about 6 other venues here in Vegas. After not only seeing the gorgeous venue and sitting down and talking with Kristen, our minds were set that we were getting married at Rhodes Ranch. We ended up seeing a few other sites just because we had appointments, but it was a true waste of our time. Kristen walked us through the entire process and literally was there from start to beyond down the aisle. We even used all of her preferred vendors and couldn't have been happier! We used Ana Studios, High Flyin Entertainment (Angel is great!), Pastor Pete, and Memory Lane (video) all found through Kristen. She couldn't know people better as they all worked together seamlessly forbid event. The ceremony site is picture perfect. The views you get from there and the reception turned into amazing pictures for us, but also holiday card poses for a ton of our guests! The food was perfect! Bartenders were fast with drinks, and everything for our guests went even smoother than we could have imagined. At the end of the day, Rhodes Ranch was a perfect site for us. Kristen leads an amazing team and this place certainly is a 10 when it comes to wedding venues! Highly recommended.

    Kristen, Celeste and the entire team at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club are miracle workers. From day one Kristen made me feel welcome and worked with me to come up with a wedding package that fit our budget but didn't compromise on the things that I felt were important. She was always responsive to my emails and was so dependable. The ceremony and reception site are beautiful and my guests loved the food and the other vendors as well. Please do yourself a favor and at the very least visit Rhodes Ranch, I visited over 6 venues and while others had similar appeal it was the team there that put them at the top of my list. My wedding day was perfect, it just flowed and everything was taken care of. Thank you again for making the best day of my life a perfect one.

    Rhodes Ranch was amazing! The staff were on point all throughout the planning process and handled every hiccup the day of the wedding. The staff took care of everything and stayed in the background all night, but was there when I needed them. Dinner was delicious and the buffet ran so smoothly. I could not have asked for a better team.

    First and foremost I would like to thank Kristen for all her help throughout the planning of our wedding! Coming over from the UK I was really stressed about the little details such as decoration etc. Kristen made sure my mind was at ease and every time I emailed her about bringing things over with me she told me not to worry and that she would be able to provide it for me (this would all be additional costs in the UK). She really was amazing! The venue itself is stunning and the cost so reasonable! The food was amazing and everything flowed so well! Kristen handed us over to another planner in the evening (unfortunately I can't remember her name through all the wedding hype ??) but again she was amazing, as were the rest of the staff! Nothing was a problem and certain things I wanted to change last minute was done with ease! I can not rate everyone and everything highly enough! Rhodes Ranch and the staff truly made our day amazing and we will treasure the memories forever ??

    Rhodes ranch was such a beautiful venue!!! The view of the mountains is stunning. They decorated everything just how I wanted. Kristen was amazing to work with, planning a wedding from across the country was not easy and she was there for everything I needed!! And the food was amazing!!!

    Kristen was so awesome with helping plan our wedding! She helped us customize a package for our ceremony and reception based on our needs and our party size. It was extremely reasonably priced for everything Rhodes Ranch provides. They even worked with our budget! The whole night was seamless. The food was amazing. The setting was beautiful. The staff was perfectly friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Rhodes Ranch to anybody looking for a venue that can be as flexible as you need them to be!

    First off I would like to mention that Kristen is such an awesome, very flexible, and fun. She has been nothing but very helpful and very professional along the way of the whole wedding. My husband was always telling me that both Kristen and I are very alike and very personable. When we first met up with Kristen to talk things through and ask her some questions, she knew all the answers to everything.
    Once you step into her office you can tell that she really does loves what she is doing. She has a passion and is very driven to help people have their dream wedding. Even with small things, she will ask if there is anything she can do to help. If there are things that may need a little more attention on, once you tell her she will be on it.
    She's very flexible with her scheduling during the off season. I personally like to go around other people's schedule to make them more comfortable, but with Kristen she was the same way as well.

    My overall experience with her and the venue was nothing but great.

    Kristen was amazing with everything we needed and let us do everything on our time. I would definitely recommend Rhodes Ranch Golf Club for anyone having a future wedding planned.

    Our experience with Rhodes Ranch was absolutely exceptional. Kristen is amazing. We looked at a few venues, but after meeting Kristen and seeing how beautiful the venue was, it was an easy decision. In fact, our interaction with her was a big deciding factor. She was always quick to answer any questions I had, even small questions I asked way too far in advance. Our wedding day was PERFECT. The weather could not have been any more beautiful, the scenery was GORGEOUS, and Kristen made sure everything ran smooth and on-time and eased my mind throughout the day. I wish I could go back and do it all over again. I would recommend this venue in a heartbeat to anyone. Thank you!!!

    Kristen and Alicia took away all the stress of planning a wedding from over 2000 miles away. Kristen was so quick with responses & had such a great 'can do' attitude during the whole process. She made what could have been a stressful time so easy- my husband and I kept wondering if we were missing something because it was coming together so easily. We had some last minute changes & the response was always the same 'No problem'.
    Due to a last minute emergency Kristen was not able to be there the day of the wedding but the hand off to Alicia was flawless. She did such a great job checking in on us & keeping the flow going! She also made sure we ate & took time for ourselves & eat which is something to easily overlook.
    The venue itself is stunning. When the pictures came back, lots of people couldn't believe the wedding took place in Vegas. The backdrop looked like we had a green screen it was so picture perfect.
    I also loved the way the venue was laid out. The ceremony space was very private. The reception area is genius. It's not your typical ballroom. The DJ, bar, food & dance floor were inside but had large windows to see out. And all the tables were seated out on a large covered patio. It created flow- if you wanted to dancing you were inside. If you wanted quiet you could hang at the tables.
    Price per person for a larger wedding was everything we needed & more. All the vendors that were used as part of the package were flawless! The DJ was on point & kept people moving throughout the night. The cake was amazing! In fact there was none left at the end of the night. They were so easy to work with! The minister was wonderful & we met him an hour before the wedding & he did a great job. We added on the photo booth & the girl running it was great! We had our guest book done with the photos & even people we thought would never go near the photo booth let loose. I can't say enough about this place!

    Rhodes Ranch was such an amazing venue. Kristen was absolutely amazing in organizing everything and making the process so easy and smooth. Weddings are stressful, but Kristen and her staff took a lot of stress off my plate. The venue itself is stunning and elegant. The package they provider is very reasonable and includes pretty much everything you could thing of. Every single staff member that helped that night were on their A game. My guests were giving complements left and right. Alicia handled everything the day of the wedding. She did such an amazing job, helped keep the wedding party where they needed to be and kept the guests happy. I can go on and on with how great my experience was with Rhodes. I would recommend this venue to anyone. Thank you guys again for everything.

    Hands down Rhodes Ranch was the best wedding venue I've seen! Alisha and Kristen helped to calm my nerves and help me every step of the way to get ready for my big day. I loved everything about it and I would have any other big gathering or party there.

    They made our day so easy and fun. This team knows how to take care of all the little things so many warned us about. I have to say it was one of the most stress free days. The site was clean and exactly how we wanted it. Made our day perfect. =)

    Kristin is amazing! She knows exactly what she is doing and was willing to let us do exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. She was very professional and quick to respond. During the wedding she was right there to help guide and direct us all the way through. I feel like we were lucky to have Kristin by our side for our special day. We could not have selected any better venue for our wedding.

    Thank you so much to the entire staff of the Rhodes Ranch Golf Club. I was impressed when coming to your open house earlier this year and Kristen kept saying I have nothing to worry about.
    I am soooo grateful for all of Kristen's support and how she organized everything so well. I was very nervous before the wedding and at the day of my wedding when I saw how well the details were organized, I was able to let go of all my fears. Even when one of my guests had a health problem and the ambulance needed to be called. It was like nothing had happen and the celebration went on and was one of my happiest days.

    First of all, I cannot express my happiness in having Justine are our coordinator. Some people help us with out weddings, but I felt like Justine was treating our wedding, like her own. She understands what we have to go through and eliminates the tough parts of being in a wedding. She made myself and my husband as her first priority in making sure everything went through flawlessly. Hopefully I'll never have get married again, but IF that happens, she will be the first person that I contact. Having a destination wedding is already rough, but having a professional coordinator that knows what she's doing make it all worth while. Justine is absolutely amazing and we would highly recommend her for any type of event.

    We had our wedding at Rhodes Ranch in March, and we couldn't be happier with our choice of venue.

    For starters, Justine and team make the entire process so much easier and enjoyable. You can tell that they understand the importance and magnitude of the 'Big Day' and go out of their way to ensure that everything happens without a hitch.

    As for the location itself, it's absolutely stunning. Pictures really do not do the view justice. Our guests came from all of the US, and every single person commented on how gorgeous it was. The food was pretty good too, and the DJ that the venue uses is AMAZING. Very fun group of guys, super professional, and they know exactly how to get a party started.

    Probably the greatest and most sincere compliment I can pay Rhodes Ranch is that if my wife and I were to do it all over again, we would pick RR as our venue.

    The place was beautiful and everyone was really nice and helpful. All of my guests said it was the best wedding they had been to.

    The staff was absolutely amazing. I couldn't have asked for anything or anyone better. Justine was the best wedding coordinator ever. She and her staff went above and beyond. I recommend this venue to everyone. Simply amazing.

    Justine was absolutely amazing! She responded so fast whenever I emailed her. She recommended amazing vendors. She helped us out when I ran into a problem with a florist, and offered to help us out with any other errands we needed. Our family and guests all raved about Justine, Rhodes Ranch, and the vendors we used!

    Rhodes Ranch was the most beautiful venue we found in Las Vegas to have our wedding at (and we looked at ALOT of venues). Justine was amazing to work with and went above and beyond. Our wedding was AMAZINGLY PERFECT thanks to Justine and to this Beautiful Venue!!!!!

    Justine was our wedding planner and she is just fabulous. She went above and beyond, from getting us band aids to providing drinks for our many 'cheers' pre-ceremony ;) We had an open bar and some people couldn't handle their alcohol intake but with Justine's aid the wedding reception went smoothly and everyone had a blast. I was complimented a lot on the food and wedding planner which explains a lot about the venue in general.

    Our wedding coordinator Justine was the absolute best!! She made our wedding day run smoothly and was constantly there to provide support to us both throughout the whole day. The months leading up to our wedding she was always available to answer questions and meet up to discuss planning. Very highly recommended!

    We had our wedding and reception at Rhodes Ranch on May 26, 2013 and we cannot say enough about how amazing everything was! From the planning process to the day of, everything was beyond our expectations. Justine was our wedding planner and she was fantastic! She was always so quick to answer any calls or emails we sent and was so flexible to accommodate all of our requests. Rhodes Ranch is one of the most beautiful venues here in Las Vegas, so that in addition to how great all the staff, food, and service was...we couldn't recommend a better place to celebrate one of the biggest days of your life! I will also add that I am a wedding planner here in Las Vegas, so my expectations are extremely high...and they allowed me the flexibility to bring my own creativity to the event, which was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you so much to Justine and all the other staff! We cannot rave enough about our experience and all of our guests were far beyond impressed. THANK YOU!!

    I just want to say that this review was made solely on Justine Jackson. I had booked Rhodes Ranch about 13 months before my wedding. In the year between they had some difficulty with their event planners and went through quite a bit, which was getting frustrating. And I know that several brides between that time were not happy. I am going to tell you that I was so blessed to have Justine come on for the last couple months before my wedding and on my wedding day! She was amazing and can not thank her enough for what she did. She was there for me and was even running drinks to my parents table during dinner!! Rhodes Ranch is a beautiful venue and as all long as Justine is there a great place to have a wedding!!

    Where do I start? Rhodes Ranch and specifically our coordinator, Justine, made our wedding perfect! Being from out of state, it wasn't the easiest wedding to plan. We hadn't ever even been to Rhodes Ranch prior to our wedding. So for months, I hounded Justine with countless emails and question after question. She was able to answer every single one of them and make us completely comfortable choosing Rhodes Ranch as our destination wedding venue.

    The day of the wedding, everything was set up to perfection. The ceremony and reception went off without a hitch and we received dozens of compliments about the venue. You really can't beat the mountains and palm trees as a backdrop. With all the palm trees and greenery, you would never guess you were in the middle of the desert. Food was great, service was excellent and the party was endless!

    I don't think there's one thing I'd change and I am thankful for every single person that went into making our wedding unforgettable, especially Justine! Thanks so much!

    I got married at the MOST beautiful place in the United States. Rhodes Ranch Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nevada is simply the best. It has warm sunshine, palm trees, beautiful green grass, lakes and waterfalls, and mountains. Everything a girl could want in a beautiful outdoor wedding.

    The service we received from the wedding coordinator, Justine Jackson, was phenomenal. She was such a blessing to us. We are from Virginia and trying to plan a destination wedding can be tricky. However, Justine has the BEST vendors. The photographer, florist, DJ and bakery are awesome. I barely had to do anything. They made my life so easy. We even had an emergency and my mom was admitted to the hospital and Justine and the vendors just took over and did everything for me. They even offered to run errands for me.

    I can't say enough about how beautiful my wedding was. I changed the start time of the wedding 3 times and Justine and vendors never blinked an eye. They are very flexible and accommodating.

    The food was so good. Most of the time so much is going on the bride doesn't eat. Well let me tell you one taste of the food and it doesn't matter what is going on, you are going to eat and ask for seconds.

    Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is the best place in Las Vegas to have a beautiful wedding and the price is awesome for all they provide.

    Hats off to you Justine, your recommended vendors and Rhodes Ranch Golf Club. We absolutely had the VERY BEST and fun day in our lives.

    I absolutely loved Rhodes Ranch. The venue sold me by the scenery alone, but working with Justine was such a delight. She was so helpful with any questions or concerns I had leading up to the wedding. On the actual wedding day, she was so attentive and helped get everything together. I thought the wedding went off exactly how I had imagined it to be. All of my family members especially my grandmother couldn't help but remark about how helpful Justine was.     I loved Rhodes Ranch! I only had my ceremony there, but it was amazing! Justine really went out of her way to make sure everything went perfectly. The only thing is that there were 3 different wedding coordinators in the time that I was engaged, which was a little stressful for me, but it all turned out perfectly and I couldn't have been happier!

    Rhodes Ranch Golf Club was my ideal location for my picture perfect wedding I had planned in my head for years! My wedding planner was very kind and took every detail that we had in mind seriously, and that was much appreciated. The food was fantastic, the ceremony site is breath taking and my wedding day was perfect for the obvious reason, but also because of Rhodes Ranch. We had the option to eat inside or out and the weather was perfect for our outdoor dining experience. I wouldn't pick a different place if I had to do it again...which I won't!! :) Thank you Rhodes Ranch!

    The food was great but more than that the staff provided for all our needs. Everyone that Rhodes Ranch recommended was exceptional. This DJ, photography, limo, and hotel were all perfect. Stacey was fantastic and timed everything perfectly. Would could not have asked for a better venue for the Ceremony or Reception. I am in nursing school full time and don't have time for lots of details. This was stress free and an absolute a dream wedding. I would recommend Rhodes Ranch to anyone getting married. All my guests said this was a great place, great wedding/reception and everyone had a wonderful time: Thanks to Rhodes Ranch and staff, Ana Studios, and Las Vegas DJs -Greg Steele!!!

    We had the best ceremony – such a gorgeous evening – right at sunset. Rhodes’ staff set it up JUST as I had requested.
    From the outdoor ceremony to the cocktails under the stars and the top shelf dinner – this was every girl’s dream wedding. The best part is that we had a country club wedding and didn’t need a sponsor since Rhodes is a public club. Just a great experience from start to finish.

    Very impressed with everything. Choosing a destination wedding venue for our daughters wedding was challenging. With all that was available at Rhodes Ranch we felt it had everything she was wanting at one location for an affordable price. Working with Stacey Milner was a true pleasure. With every question or inquiry she always had that "can do" attitude. The entire staff were very helpful and thoughtful. The comments we received from our family and friends were all positive. The ceremony site was the most gorgeous setting imaginable. Everything at the reception, from the buffet dinner to the DJ that provided the music was fantastic. I know we're a little prejudice, but it was the best wedding with the most dancing that we've ever attended.

    Kristen helped me through the whole process. She was always there from the beginning to the end. Even at the day of the event she managed to fix little details about the food. The place was great and the risotto was the best. All the guests complimented the risotto and the coconut shrimp. The DJ company that was hired had a few slips but they managed to fix them as well and stopped the reggaeton music before dinner was over. The cake company hired was THE BEST.

    Our wedding is scheduled for Oct. 2016 (and has not happened yet). The main reason we chose this venue, besides the gorgeous mountain view was due to the great customer service. Kristen is wonderful, and truly willing to work with you to make this day as you want it. All for a very reasonable price . Kristen answered all of my questions via phone or email in a very timely manner. My fiance and I are so excited for our wedding.

    Kristen was fantastic and answered all of my questions quickly and made the entire process so much easier. We used them for a bundle; venue, DJ, minister, cake & catering. They have a photography option but we went with our own. It was beautiful and I couldn't have been happier. They handle all of the decorations so all you have to worry about is getting ready and making the walk down the aisle. My only thing was that we didn't want an Elvis impersonator to marry us but he still did a fantastic job!

    We only had our Ceremony at Rhodes because there was a specific restaurant on the Strip that we wanted to go to. The wedding coordinator Kristen was very accommodating, personable and calming. There were many services that Rhodes provides that we did not take advantage of due to simplicity and small size of our wedding but I know that if we had use their services to the fullest extent, I am confident that everything would have been well taken care of.

    Pros: beautiful ceremony spot, unique setup, indoor & outdoor setting, great food, can't beat the price, service was great to bride & groom, lots of compliments from guests on venue and food, ability to change package (brought in our own cake, photographer, officiant)

    Cons: difficulty reaching coordinator throughout the process on and off, lack of communication for how day of would go (I wasn't told what to do until 10 minutes till walking which makes for an even more nervous bride), Rhodes Ranch coordinator failed to inform us that our "day of coordinator" was an outside company, messed up the floor chart table numbers thus 1 parent table and table of bridesmaids were far away and in corners, failure of communication amongst the staff for how bar would go with our tab, bar refused to sell drinks to guest prior to ceremony, group of parents and high school students (living within the community) bombarded ceremony spot immediately after the ceremony to take homecoming photos thus we couldn't use the spot for photos afterwards, unorganized with packing all of our items (had to go back 2 times for things that were left behind that we were not told of (now to find the champagne glasses dirty and unwashed, and a bag full of beaded items and fake flowers wadded up together - that was fun to untangle)

    Rhodes Ranch Venue: Unfortunately with my wedding I had three coordinators and all of them had different information from me so it was annoying to have to remind them what I had wanted. When I did the food tasting the food was amazing and I was very excited to eat it for my wedding night. I had graduated from the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas in 2011 so I defiantly knew what good food tasted like and preparation of catering to a large group. We had picked chicken parm and penne vodka. When we had our dinner at the wedding it was a night and day difference and didn't taste or even look at all what I had eaten the first time at the tasting. The penne vodka had sausage in the pasta when it shouldn't have since the food tasting did not have that in it. Another reason why I had picked penne vodka in the first place is because we had vegetarians that were attending the wedding. The chicken parm tasted like a tv dinner and it was not crunchy, but in fact very soggy. It was upsetting to me, but I tried to make sure it wasn't going to ruin my night. I even ask my maiden of honor since she was at the tasting and she said the food was bad just like I had thought. Another annoying thing was the fact that the venue did not have enough workers to service all of us in a fashionable time. I felt like we waited a lot for them to clean and for us to get our champagne. We had 125 people at the wedding and I remember only seeing a couple of people helping. I felt like there was a lot of valuable time that was wasted. The venue coordinator Justine did the best that she could do. She was nice and asked throughout the night if she could get anything for my husband and I. I still would recommend this venue to a friend, but would defiantly tell them how the wedding went.

    Beautiful wedding venue. Too many changes in coordinators. We had three different coordinators. Things all worked out, but a lot of unnecessary problems because of miscommunication. Food was good- from rhythm kitchen. But not enough for many people to get seconds at a buffet.

    Beautiful ceremony and reception area, but customer service was horrible. I went through 3 wedding coordinators there in a period of 8 months. The last one I had to deal with could not remember my fiances name. The week of my wedding a pipe broke in the reception area and they said it was going to be closed for 3 weeks and they were putting me in a tent, I was not happy. They then fixed it before my wedding after I got my heart set on the tent. Not a very good experience with them throughout the planning. But the area was beautiful!

    The venue was responsive before the wedding, except when it came to discussing the weather. The venue refused to discuss the possibility of rain with me, despite my bringing up the weather reports on at least 3 separate occasions before the day. So when it became evident that the weather reports were right, there was no pre-determined plan in place. I was left to make a hurried, last minute decision without the benefit of time to consider all of the possible options. Since they are not really an indoor venue, we had the ceremony where the reception was supposed to be, except all of the tables were still in place and I had about 2 feet of aisle to walk down while maneuvering around chairs and between tables. The pictures of my husband and I walking back together have him looking down because the aisle was so small he was trying to avoid stepping on my considerably large ball gown. We had 3 different locations where we could take pictures, none of which were the beautiful backdrop I had envisioned when I selected Rhodes Ranch. To make matters worse, while we were still taking the pictures, half of our guests decided to come outside and talk to us - no crowd control from the staff. We were promised we would get to try the hors d'oeuvres we selected, but they were never offered to us. Because they moved the venue inside the tiny restaurant on property, I had to weave in and out of tables and chairs and ask my guests to get up and move just to get to my table. The food was good, but the chicken we tasted had pastry dough wrapped around it and the chicken served at the reception did not. The wait staff was friendly and professional, however. Even though the rain is not the fault of the venue, they did not have a good plan to deal with it, making my memories of my wedding day filled with sorrow and regret.

    Warning not to use

    I need to warn anyone considering Rhodes Ranch for their wedding. They used to have a coordinator, Kristen Raftery, who was great, well organized, patient, compassionate--the list goes on. She left Rhodes Ranch sometime after I got married, and now there is a man, Dave Williams, in charge of food and beverages, that is absolutely horrible, horrendous, heinous (all the negative h words that exist). I spoke with him because some time after we got married, we realized that 72 of our bistro light bulbs that were used at the wedding (brand new when we arrived, never used since), were taken after they dissembled the decorations (because only their staff put up and take down everything), and he states he has no accountability for what happened and basically implied that I am lying. To replace the lights is $80. $80. A huge golf/country club like this isn't able to help pay for some lights that were most likely misplaced BY THEM? Like $40 would be fine. $20 even. But show that you care about protecting people's belongings and the fact that they are trusting you with these things for one of the most important days of their life. But washing your hands of it?? Unacceptable. Furthermore, Dave is somewhat of a bumbling person where it was confusing what he was trying to say and he clearly felt nervous speaking with a strong woman who had an opinion. Seems like the wedding field is probably not a good idea for a man like that!! Let's just hope you don't use this venue and lose something truly important to you, like an heirloom, because at least all I lost was something replaceable. I just don't think it's worth it since they clearly have proven they won't do what it takes to make things right. It's not even worth me addressing my wedding day at a place like that because this experience outweighs any other feelings I might have whether they were positive or not. That's why customer service is so important. It takes a lot of work to make someone think positively about your venue, but only one BAD experience to destroy all of that. Instantaneously. Would have been a very simple fix.

    This is a warning to STAY AWAY

    We recently got married at Rhodes Ranch and if I could, I would give it 0 stars. I should have known from the review someone else posted that it was going to be a nightmare. When I first looked into Rhodes Ranch I was working with Celeste, and she was great at first and then when the pandemic happened it was like pulling teeth to get her to respond to my emails. I found out she was on furlough but was also responding to emails. I kept asking if our date was still available and she kept saying no. I wasn't sure if she was saying they weren't doing weddings because of the pandemic or if our date really wasn't available. Finally, around October 2020 I called the golf course directly and ended up speaking with Dave the Director of Food & Beverage. He told us our date was available for the ceremony and for the rehearsal dinner. He told me that the ceremony normally would cost $2,500 and when i told him that I couldn't see us paying that amount for a 20-minute ceremony he dropped it down to $1,000. He emailed me after we spoke and told me he was going to reserve the indoor space for 50 people for our rehearsal dinner for August 5 and the ceremony spot for August 7.

    Around April 2021, I received an email from Celeste saying she was back part time and wanted to go over some information. At that time, she also told me they were adding bistro lighting to the ceremony spot, and we could now have an evening ceremony. I asked if there was a way to remove them because I feel in love with the view without the bistro lights. She told me no and they were permeant. The first week of May my fiancé (hubby now) and I decided to go down to the golf course to feel out the weather in the ceremony spot since we were getting married outside in August. That is when I saw the bistro lights and pretty much lost it. From my conversation with Celeste, she told me they couldn't be removed so I started freaking out because I didn't want to get married with those god-awful lights above us. When I went into the club house both Dave and Celeste were there, and I told them I hated those lights. I got so upset because I was being told by Celeste that they couldn't be remove and then Dave told me he would look into getting them removed for our wedding. Dave ended up emailing me that week saying he can have the lights removed but not the poles. They kept saying the poles were welded in, which they weren't. Even our photographer said it was easy to remove the poles. Since the whole bistro lighting situation happened everything went downhill from there. I felt like they didn't care about our wedding because we weren't paying the full amount and they were mad that they had to take down the lights. Even Dave made comments that it was going to cost him $1,000 to remove the lights.

    A few weeks before our wedding we scheduled an appointment to meet with Celeste and Dave ended up sitting in the appointment with us. I thought everything was all set for our rehearsal dinner and the ceremony, boy I was wrong. The rehearsal dinner was a nightmare. I found out the week of our rehearsal dinner that Celeste wasn't going to be there, and I was to work with another girl named Lauren. Dave told his staff we only had 45 guests, when I confirmed weeks ago and the week of, we were going to be 60-63. He even asked me when I arrived at the rehearsal dinner how many guests we ended up with and I told him we should still be at 60-63. After we completed the rehearsal, some of our guests started asking where they should sit since there wasn't enough chairs or tables. One of the staff members told me that Dave told them there was only 45 people coming so they set up for that many guests. I had to find chairs for our guests, and they ended up sitting with people that live inside Rhodes Ranch. They also didn't have enough drink tickets because Dave only gave them 45. I had to show Lauren an email from Dave that I received that week confirming we were still at 60-63 in order for us to get additional drink tickets. Then the food was taking forever, so I had to walk around to see who had food and who didn't. I honestly felt bad for the staff and Lauren. Lauren was left there to run the bar and help with our dinner. Shame on Dave for leaving her alone and not adding additional staff to help with our event. I didn't get to enjoy our rehearsal dinner because I was running around making sure everyone was taken care of. This is something I should have never had to do. We paid for a service, and we should have received that service. Before we left, I had this feeling that I needed to follow up with Lauren to make sure we were all set for the ceremony. She had no idea that I wanted draping on the arch and that we were borrowing a basket for our fans we were giving away. You would think that would have been in our file, so she knew what to do on our wedding day.

    I was hoping that our ceremony day was going to go smoothly but I was completely wrong. Lauren again was running the bar and coordinating our ceremony. When we booked with them, I was told Celeste was going to be there to help me the day of our ceremony and not someone that was going to be doing two jobs at the same time. As I was walking down the aisle, the first few rows were empty because our family didn't know they were supposed to sit there, and the chairs weren't set up for the rehearsal dinner so we couldn't show them. I will take the blame on this because I should have had the groomsman escorting people down. I didn't think anything of it since Celeste told us our guests could stay in the club house and a few minutes before she would have them go down to the ceremony spot. We were supposed to have two golf carts to take photos out on the course and those weren't there. We had to find someone to get us carts, which delayed us, and we almost missed our ride to the reception.

    I emailed Dave the Director of Food and Beverage a week after the wedding to discuss the issues we had during the rehearsal dinner and the ceremony and instead of acknowledging the mistakes that happened, he started blaming me for not responding to an email me sent me on August 5 20 minutes before we dropped off our decorations, he said that I showed up announced on August 5 and dropped off decorations with little to no information about what to do with the decorations (he emailed me on July 30 and told me to stop by August 5 after 2pm to drop off my decorations and speak with Lauren, which we did), he also said that the rehearsal dinner should have been $25 pp and we got a deal for $12 pp (never once did I asked for a deal, Celeste sent me the proposal on January 25, 2020 with that amount), then he said I acknowledge it wasn't a private event and they weren't going to set up tables for our guests (went back to my emails and October 23, 2020 he was supposed to reserve the indoor space and never did and why would I book somewhere that wasn't going to make sure there was enough seating for our guests), he said the ceremony started 15 minutes late because Lauren had to help me bustle my dress since none of the girls knew how to bustle it (didn't know you bustle a dress before you walk down the aisle), then he brought up that I was in his office hysterics about light and it cost him $1,000 to remove (again never forced him to remove the lights, that was all him and he could have said no and refunded our deposit), he also said I texted Lauren days after the event (which I did to see if we could pick up our decorations and I asked about what happened with the rows and that was it) and lastly he told me "You wanted a deal to make this work for you, but you wanted full service in return. I am sorry that this did not meet your expectations." I never once asked for a deal, and he should have told me he was going to half ass our events because we didn't pay full price. I spoke with Lauren when our rehearsal dinner was over, and I told her it felt like he didn't care because we didn't pay full price and he was made because he had to take down the bistro lighting and I was right. Even Lauren said it shouldn't matter if we paid full price or half, we still deserve the same level of service.

    He only accepted responsibility for the late food and that he picked up our music bill ($150) which we were quoted $125, and in all honestly forgot all about it and he never emailed me after the wedding to tell us to pay for it. I asked for him to refund the $1,000 since we had so many issues and his response was "I apologize again that the day did not go as you had hoped. As I state, you had already received a $2,500 discount (not including lights or DJ). We operated this event at a lost. I will not be giving you an additional refund." Never have I worked with someone that is so unprofessional. Even our friends that own restaurants told us we better get our money back from the rehearsal dinner because how bad the service was.

    If I could go back to October 2020, I would have never agreed to do our rehearsal dinner or ceremony there. This is just a warning for other brides to stay away.
