Look NO further! This place is amazing, fantastic the best ever. The layout is amazing when you walk in to the foyer/bar area they have a cocktail hour there and the chandelier the bar layout and the tables everything is just perfect. You can get married in the building if you want to they set up the ceremony beautifully. Then they open the doors to this magical huge room you just need to look at it you won't believe it this is the place . ! we had our wedding here on August 26, 2022 and Hillary & everyone was amazing and all the bartenders & staff.
I can't say enough . this place is affordable and beyond imagination. You can add anything to make your wedding more special LED lighting vases whatever linens you want. This is a Place to rent for anything . thank you we will never forget a wonderful experience

Amazing experience!

Rhodes on the Pawtuxet is an absolutely beautiful venue! It was such a pleasure to have our wedding in the historic Rhodes - it is certainly not the typical wedding venue site. We were able to have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one place and safe to say our guests were "wowed." Also, there was torrential downpour on the day of our wedding and our photographer found so many absolutely beautiful and unique spots to take pictures inside.

Not only is Rhodes absolutely gorgeous, but the staff is wonderful! Hillary and Jenn were so warm and welcoming during the touring and booking process, which made the stressful process of replanning a wedding due to COVID all the easier. Hillary was with us the entire wedding night and played such a huge role in setting up the venue to make sure it was perfect and also helped with every little step along the way.

Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a unique venue with a fantastic, warm, and helpful staff!

Amazing Venue to Get Married!

Rhodes on the Pawtuxet was the most amazing place for my husband and I to get married. It's a beautiful space, and has a lot of different options for couples with varying price points (which we greatly appreciated).

The General Manager at Rhodes, Maggie, is the best person to help you with your wedding planning. Maggie guided us along the entire process from picking table linens to helping us come up with a timeline for when to send out wedding invitations and when to request RSVPs be turned in by. She is an absolute rock star! We used several of her recommended vendors, and they were all fantastic. Maggie coordinated set-up and breakdown with all of our vendors to ensure that everything went smoothly on the day of the wedding. She was there the entire day with us, giving me a helping hand (literally) to get up stairs to take photographs and bringing us drinks in the bridal suite after our ceremony.

We had such an amazing wedding day, and it was all due to Maggie's help and organization, the fantastic food from Russell Morin, and the beautiful venue at Rhodes. I cannot recommend Rhodes enough. Honestly, a perfect place to get married!

Beautiful & Seemless

This gorgeous venue literally checked all of my boxes. From the high ceilings, hardwood floors, and gorgeous decor to being in our budget, it truly was everything I was looking for. The food was AMAZING (so amazing that we went to 2 tastings :)) and the servers were so great. We worked with Maggie and she was so responsive, attentive and truly helped make even our strangest ideas come to fruition. She is so sweet; we loved working with her! We had the perfect day and there isn't one thing I would have changed about this venue. I highly recommend this beautiful space with excellent service!!

Completely perfect venue

Rhodes on the Pawtuxet was amazing. The room was gorgeous. Our coordinator Jessica was amazing from start to finish. Our day was executed perfectly and actually turned out better than I could ever imagine. We chose an all inclusive package and I barely had to do a thing! Highly recommended.

The most perfect place!

Looking for venues can definitely be super stressful and overwhelming. Stepping into Rhodes we were treated like royalty. Maggie and Jessica were amazing to work with. Maggie was so detailed oriented when planning our day and she really connected with us on a personally level we felt we were planning our wedding with a friend! Our wedding was perfect, there are no words on how amazing everything was. From of the food, to the drinks, to the desserts, our day was AMAZING. We absolutely recommended this venue to everyone! Your wedding dreams will come true!!

If you're looking to get married, do yourself and your guests a favor and get married here. My husband and I were married here on October 7th and could not possibly have had a better experience. Working with Jessica was a dream; she was so easy to talk to, caring, and clearly extremely experienced. She did everything in her power to make us have the perfect wedding. It seriously was flawless. Rhodes on the Pawtuxet is a stunning venue with gorgeous hard wood floors that reflect the fairytale-like lighting beautifully. It was like walking into a dream. Russell Morin is their caterer and I 100% can see why; their food was absolutely to die for. There was a tasting event for all couples in February, where we were able to try most of the many menu options and we were not disappointed. On the day of the actual wedding, the food was somehow even better. So many people told us that we weren't going to get to eat on our wedding day, but they were very, very wrong. Jessica personally delivered many platters of hor d'oeuvres to us while we were taking photos during the cocktail hour. We had a personal server at our sweetheart table who made sure we were eating and had everything we needed. She brought us drinks and took great care of us. Throughout the night, we had servers going out of their way to make sure we got desserts. We could barely move. I also heard from many of our guests that their servers were incredible. Bob and Barb, the married couple, were charming and well-loved by everyone. Everything we possibly could have needed was taken care of. I asked my husband what else I should say and he said, "It's hard to think of things to say when everything was flawless. Everything was perfect and it was crazy good." I think that sums it up well.

Rhodes was a GORGEOUS venue to have my wedding. We had 150 people which felt perfect in the space. Working with Jessica was incredibly effortless and she was unbelievable the day of. I would not change one thing about my day, and most of that had to do with it being at Rhodes. This place is unique, historic and is absolutely stunning if you want something a little bit different. Very glamorous and classic. We were incredibly lucky as we were the first wedding that was able to experience the remodeled lighting. WOW is all I can say to that.

I just have to say something special in regards to the food. The menu was custom made for us as we wanted serving stations, and when I say people raved, they RAVED. People ate so much they needed a minute before they were ready to dance. The food was exceptional. My guests still say that they cannot pick their favorite thing from the day, because there were so many amazing elements, which is the highest compliment I feel I can receive as a bride. Jessica and Rhodes had a huge part in that, so thank you Jessica!

We loved having Rhodes host our wedding. First off, the packages they offer took a lot of the stress out of the whole process right from the start. Jessica was our coordinator and she was great as well. We had a lot of random requests and she was able to accommodate all of them. My groomsmen also aren't the easiest people to give direction to but Jessica had them all falling in line. The food was great and we loved the way the space turned out after all the choices we made. It sounds cliche, but we really wouldn't change anything about our day and a big thanks goes to Rhodes for that.

Words can not begin to describe how amazing Maggie and her team are! From the beginning she has responded to any email or question I had very quickly. The day of she blew me away. My venue was breath taking and she was right by my side with anything I needed. She even gave me her personal wine cup with lid so I wouldnt get sangria on my dress. I can't recommend Rhodes on the Pawtuxet more. I will forever be greatful for all of her help! If your undecided on your venue it's Rhodes on the Pawtuxet!!! The venue speaks for itself!

My husband and I were over the moon about this gorgeous space! The historic element is exactly what we were looking for for our wedding day. It has beautiful character and our guests had plenty of room to move around. Maggie and Jessica made the process of planning stress-free and fun! It was simple with the expertise given and the talented vendors recommended. The staff was amazingly friendly which was much appreciated with all the excitement of the day. It may be a bit delayed as we got married October 2016, but I still can't stop raving about how wonderful our reception at Rhodes was. From start to finish, Jessica and the team at Rhodes were marvelous. Jessica was always on point, eager to help, and quick with responding to a stressed out bride that sent lots and lots of emails (which is no easy task!) Jessica took care of everything and really helped to ease our minds throughout the process, and especially as we got closer to the day. As we are approaching our 1st Anniversary, my husband and I are still getting compliments about the venue, the friendliness of the staff, the amazing food, and overall ambiance that Rhodes provides.

Jessica even worked with my father on arranging a surprise for myself and my now-husband - Portuguese folk dancers! My husband and I were so surprised, and she did a fantastic job of keeping that big secret from us!

For anyone who is considering Rhodes as their venue, I hope this review helps to make your choice! You won't be disappointed, and I can almost guarantee that even after months your guests will still be talking about it :)

We loved the Rhodes! Jessica was absolutely fantastic and with my wife and I every step of the way. She was extremely helpful from the get go and was always available, able to answer questions and guide us through the big and small details/decisions. The Rhodes was everything we wanted and more. Rhodes is a beautiful,spacious and unique venue for a wedding. The staff is professional and efficient. My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with Jessica Krasner and the staff at Rhodes. We were told by friends that planning and execution of a wedding was stressful. We did not find that to be true working with Jessica. She had a time table for all the preparations and the info that was needed that let us know when things were needed. She offered advice that proved helpful while relieving any stress. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch. The food and the service staff were excellent. Our guests are still commenting on the delicious food (thank you Russell Morin), the beauty of the venue and the service staff professionalism. We could not have asked for a more perfect day for our daughter and her husband. Many thanks to everyone at Rhodes for a truly wonderful evening for everyone including the parents of the bride. You guys are the BEST!!

We could not possibly be more pleased with our decision to hold both our ceremony and our reception at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet! We decided to purchase the all-inclusive package, and it made a world of difference in our pre-wedding schedule. Jessica made everything so easy, and was both attentive and kind throughout the planning and the big night, itself. My son and daughter-in-law were married at Rhodes last December and I have to say that it was a wonderful event; guests are still telling me how beautiful it was and how the food was the best they ever had at a wedding. I was involved in every stage of the planning and right from the beginning Jessica made us feel so comfortable and confident with all of our choices. I can’t say enough good things about Jessica and the entire staff. The day of the wedding Jessica made sure everything ran smoothly, she even stayed on the phone with the bride’s grandmother, who was lost, and helped direct her to the venue. There are many wedding venues in Rhode Island but I don’t think my son’s wedding would have been as beautiful or memorable if it had been held anywhere else. I would recommend Rhodes and Russell Morin to anyone planning, not only a wedding, but any large event.

We had our daughter's wedding at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet. We dealt with Jessica, our event planner. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience: magical, professional, beautiful.
Jessica was so patient with all our questions and concerns (and we had many!), so accommodating and flexible with all our unique special requests. The environment was warm and welcoming and with Jessica's special touches it was stress free. She thought of everything. Clearly experienced and professional at this job but also a delight to work with.

We had both our ceremony and reception at Rhodes in November and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The moment I walked in the building I knew I had to have my wedding there, it has this amazing vintage feel and is a beautiful ballroom. The Staff was so attentive, they give you everything you could possibly need down to hors d'oeuvres and a bottle of champagne in the bridal suite. Morin catering does an amazing job, every bite was delicious and photograph worthy; they even give you a little hotel doggie bag with a sandwich for after the wedding. Jessica Krasner was the best wedding planner, she helps you with every detail. She even has a pre-wedding checklist with fill in the blanks for everything and was there before I walked down the aisle to give me tic tacs to ensure the best first kiss. Rhodes has these wonderful packages that you are able to customize that even include Dj, florist, and Photographer. It was such a stress reliever to have these reputable vendors on a list, as most of us have never planned a wedding before. I would definitely recommend Rhodes to everyone, I couldn't have had a better experience.

I'm a wedding vendor myself so I already knew what to look for in a wedding venue. Rhodes was already in my top 3 of venue choices. When I found out that Russel Morin Fine Catering was Rhodes' in-house caterer, I was 110% sold. My wife booked the venue and worked with Jessica and her amazing team on all the details. Jess was a pleasure to work with - she's always smiling, friendly and very responsive. She helped us with the linen rentals, lighting etc and brought it all together into one incredible setting. Our wedding was absolutely incredible and it would not have been as amazing if it were not for Jess and ALL of the Rhodes' staff. I can't speak highly enough about them, we love them!

We just want to say a huge thank you to everyone at Russell Morin and Rhodes on the Pawtuxet for making our Wedding Day literally the #BestDayEver. It really was the best day of our lives and everything about the venue/food/drinks/accommodation was perfect. We were so honored to be able to celebrate our big day at a venue that is stunning, classic, and historical, just days after its 100 Year Anniversary! Jessica and her team at Russell Morin/Rhodes on the Pawtuxet are simply fantastic! Russell Morin’s catering can only be described as out of this world. For weeks following the wedding compliments from guests poured in, saying the food was the best they ever had at any wedding! Guests also overheard people who were not in attendance talking about our event, which goes to show how absolutely amazing it truly was. Our reception went so smoothly and it’s because of this incredible team and their attention to detail. Big thanks to Jessica who made the whole process so relaxed and enjoyable, she ensured everything we wanted was perfect on our big day. As an anxious bride, juggling multiple things outside of the wedding, I truly appreciated Jessica’s guidance and patience with me, as I planned my “Rhode Island” themed wedding… Adorned with anchors and chockfull of coffee milkshakes, Dels Lemonade and Vodka Signature drink, clam cakes and chowder, fish and chips… and the list goes on. I had very specific ideas in mind with not a ton of time to put them into action, but Jessica was able to help me make my visions a reality, nonetheless. She acted as not only the on-site planner for our “All-Inclusive” wedding, but also as the host for the day, where she ensured everything ran smoothly and was a complete rockstar. I wanted a venue with a vintage feel and Rhodes on the Pawtuxet delivered! With it’s rich history and beautiful building, it set the stage for a wonderful wedding and made our pictures perfect! I fell in love at first sight with the archways that line the interior and the expansive wood floors. We had about 175 people at the wedding and the building was able to easily accommodate our group while still maintaining a cozy, intimate feel. There was a gorgeous, large bar area for guests to mingle and enjoy the hors d’oeuvres in during cocktail hour. The sizable dance floor created the ability to have a fun party atmosphere so we could dance the night away. Along with the gorgeous architecture, the employees help to make the process easy and enjoyable. Jessica Krasner was incredibly helpful and always available to answer any questions we could possibly have had. She was able to suggest vendors, like lighting, that had done weddings at Rhodes in the past to help enhance the beauty of the building. Jessica definitely made what can be an overwhelming and stressful process, enjoyable! Another high point to Rhodes is the food! There are tons of options of hors d’oeuvres, which definitely came in handy due to dietary restrictions we had in our families. I can confidently say that all of the guests we have talked to have raved about how delicious the food was and that it was the best food they have ever had! Honestly, between the incredible food, the friendly wait staff, and the amazing service, I can't tell you how many compliments I received both during and after the wedding. The night was so magical; we didn’t want it to end! What else can I say about this venue except that it was the best decision we made for the wedding! My husband and I fell in love with this 100 year building the moment we stepped inside and are so happy to know that it is the place where we started the rest of our lives. Jessica, Rhodes Wedding Coordinator, was amazing throughout the whole process! From the day we confirmed the date until late the night of our wedding, Jessica made sure that we stressed over nothing. She was always happy to give advise and recommendations to make our day that much more special for the two of us.
Our family has not stopped talking about what an amazing night they had. The food was delicious and the custom cake that Russell Morin created for us was perfect! We were expecting 250 people at our wedding and Rhodes was able to make our night special without making it feel cookie cutter and still stay within our budget.
This is the perfect unique wedding venue for a large wedding. You will not be disappointed : )

Rhodes on the Pawtuxet is a historical venue that is well-maintained by the staff at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet presented by Russell Morin Fine Catering. If having plenty of space to move around, being comfortable with nice air conditioning, and having a large dance floor to dance on are all important to you, then this is the place to go! Believe me, with the right lighting, table decor, room decor, and flowers - this place will look just as great, or even better, as anywhere else!

The team at Russell Morin Fine Catering did a great, great job with taking care of everyone at my wedding. They ensured that everything was in place and they were also very flexible when it came to personal requests and adjustments to the room decor and menu. Our families loved the food!!!

Jessica, the coordinator, did a TREMENDOUS job taking care of us as bride and groom all night long; whatever we needed - she was there!

The cost of this venue is most definitely affordable and it is a great value. Another great aspect to any event taking place here is that your event is the ONLY event taking place at this venue at that time - so no bumping into other brides by accident. The fact that the venue and catering are a package deal makes planning EXTRA easy; WAY less details to have to figure out and coordinate because they do it for you (tables, chairs, silverware, napkins, delivery logistics, etc.)

We are average people who come from average-income and family. We put a lot of effort into planning our wedding and had a lot of love and support from our family. Our wedding was amazing and we would re-live in a heartbeat. :-D

Not only was this venue perfect for what we were looking for, but the entire staff is professional, hardworking, and a joy to work with. Jessica is your go-to girl, and it is truly amazing what she can accomplish. She runs so many events throughout the year, but she makes you feel so special. She pays attention to every detail and wish you have, and makes you feel like you're the only bride on her radar. The food was amazing (we did custom food stations that people LOVED), the set up was gorgeous, and I was not stressed about anything. Compared to other venues in the area, we felt the price was the best and there was more customization available here (which was important to us). Our wedding was unique just like we wanted :)

There are not enough wonderful things to say about our wedding at Rhodes! From the first time we toured the venue we knew it would be the perfect location for our wedding. We worked with Jessica, who was phenomenal at guiding us through the wedding planning process and was able to answer any questions we had about planning our big day. On the day of the wedding, Jessica was so amazing at making sure things ran smoothly and that everything was the way we had imagined - she even made sure we had enough to eat and drink!

The venue itself was so beautiful, we had uplighting from ATR Treehouse that was the perfect compliment to our color scheme and vision. We had our ceremony on site as well, which was perfectly executed. Our tables for the reception were set up exactly how we had imagined and looked amazing.

The food was delicious as well! We upgraded our appetizers to have the mini fish and chips and added the coffee frappes for dessert, which were both a hit with our guests. We also used the baker at Rhodes for our cake, which was gorgeous as well as delicious.

Our wedding at Rhodes was everything we could have imagined and I would choose them over and over if given the choice!

Selecting Rhodes on the Pawtuxet as my wedding venue was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made; it’s truly hard for me to put into words just how thankful I am for Jessica’s support. She was organized, creative and she always responded to my emails right away. Jessica went above and beyond what I would consider her normal job responsibilities to make sure my wedding was perfect. And it was! The ballroom literally took my breath away when I saw it for the first time on my wedding day – it was incredible. Also, the food was amazing!! My guests are still talking about how good everything was! We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue to celebrate our wedding. There is something so grand and unique about Rhodes on the Pawtuxet, and we heard endless comments from out guests as to how special this venue is. On top of the beauty, the food was absolutely amazing. We chose stations to give our guests a greater selection, and they were definitely delighted. We had many guests compliment on how this wasn't typical "wedding food!" We were very fortunate to have a wonderful coordinator walk us through every step of the wedding process, and help make sure the details we envisioned became a reality. Our Wedding day was absolutely the most amazing day! From the beginning of our engagement to the day of our wedding (two years time) Aaron Messina was extremely helpful and easy to work with. Any questions that we had were answered right away and they never left us hanging with anything. Our guests are still raving about our Wedding day! This Venue was perfect! They have tons of places for you to take photos and they have a second floor that overlooks Ballroom and the cocktail hour and you get some great pictures of all your guest! The staff was very accommodating to us and our guest! The food was absolutely amazing, I am a very picky eater and i couldn't resist their food! Rhodes on the Pawtuxet is a great place for a wedding!

Rhodes did an awesome job with our wedding. They stayed on top of things and everything went smoothly on the big day.
The building is great (especially for larger weddings). But the biggest reason we chose them is because the food (provided by Morin's Fine Catering) menu is very flexible. They'll work with you to make whatever kind of menu you need, whether that is gluten-free, vegetarian/vegan, whatever.

Rhodes on the Pawtuxet is such a unique and gorgeous venue that has such charm! My guests were blown away not only by the size and beauty of Rhodes, but also by the amazing service and friendliness of the staff. I can't tell you how many compliments I received both during and after the wedding. Also, the food is out of this world! Even the pickiest food eaters of the group could not get enough of the delicious appetizers (which seemed never ending), and would not stop raving about their meal! Usually at weddings the appetizers are sparse, and one of the things my guests really noticed was that they didn't have to hunt down the appetizers! Plus the size of the cocktail space allowed for comfortable mingling where everyone had plenty of room. Of course, aside from all of this, I have to give a huge THANK YOU to Aaron Messina who made the wedding planning process such an enjoyable, stress-free and fun experience!! He was extremely professional, yet laid back enough to make me feel comfortable approaching him with my many questions...all of which were responded to immediately and with such enthusiasm. He welcomed new ideas and suggestions and in fact encouraged them. He was by far the easiest vendor to work with and I would HIGHLY recommend him. Not only was he very hands-on from the beginning, but during the cocktail hour and reception, he made it a point to make sure my husband and I were taken care of, whether it be bringing over appetizers we hadn't tried yet, making sure we had a drink, or just to checking-in to make sure everything was going well. The staff at Rhodes did not miss a beat and my every request/wish was carried out flawlessly. Our wedding was perfect and our guests have even requested a 1-year anniversary party there because they could not get over how much fun they had. You will not be disappointed with Rhodes on the Pawtuxet!!!

Rhodes on Pawtuxet was the best! The wedding day and the entire planning experience went as perfect as I could only imagine. I couldn't even fathom how someone could do a better job than our event manager Aaron Messina did. He was assertive, attentive, caring and precise and helped us pull off the perfect wedding for 330 guests. I didn't know with such a high number of guests if quality would still be achievable, but Aaron had paid so much attention to every little detail that it felt so personal. Literally we have heard from multiple people that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. I had one couple tell me that of over 40 weddings they had been to over the years, this was the nicest they had ever seen! It felt really special. Aaron is the best and you will not regret throwing your wedding at Rhodes!! Oh yeah food - amazing. We payed a little extra for family style but the food was so good, it blew away the food at all our friends weddings around Boston!!

I had the best day of my life on August 3rd! My wedding was absolutely perfect! Rhodes on The Pawtuxet was the best venue and EVERYONE is still talking about the venue and how good the food was. My husband and I were craving the food the next day! Everything was perfect and Aaron Messina from Rhodes made it all happen. I cannot fully express just how thrilled I am that we went with Rhodes on the Pawtuxet for our wedding venue. The space is breathtakingly beautiful (and SO different from all of the other venues we've been attending weddings at) and the food is phenomenal - almost every person I have spoken with since has mentioned it as some of the best wedding food they've ever had.

On top of this, Aaron, our coordinator, was exactly what every bride wants leading up to and on her wedding day. He responded to all of my emails quickly, was flexible with my numerous decision changes, and always offered thoughtful suggestions. I even came up with a small last minute idea THE MORNING OF my wedding, emailed Aaron, and he responded saying "No problem!" He was calm, organized, and fun - he made sure my husband and I had everything we needed on the day and made us feel at ease the entire night. My husband and I keep reliving the night and saying just how perfect everything was and how smoothly it all went. I speak for all of my wedding guests when I say that Rhodes on the Pawtuxet is HIGHLY recommended for any event!

My husband and I had our wedding at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet on July 13, 2013. We had 440 guest attend with a wedding party of 28 people. We began working with Aaron almost two years ago and he was beyond accomodating every step of the way. We were very particular about what we wanted our wedding to be and what we expected from our wedding venue and catering company. Aaron and everyone else at Rhodes and Russell Morin exceeded every expectation. We spoke to Aaron very often about the layout of the cocktail area and main reception room, head table, the menu, the service, and communication with our other vendors. Aarons attention to detail made our wedding as perfect as we wanted it to be. I would highly reccomend Rhodes on the Pawtuxet to anyone who is planning a large wedding... I cant imagine our wedding reception being any more perfect. Thank you Aaron!

Rhodes on the Pawtuxet and Russel Morin were so great to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process! We were planning the wedding from out-of-state and Aaron and his team did a great job staying in touch with us and making sure that everything was coming together! My wife and I had a bunch of odd-ball requests for the staff and they pulled everything together beautifully! Rhodes on the Pawtuxet and Russel Morin was by far the easiest to deal with out of all our vendors.

On top of the great service, the venue itself is absolutely beautiful. They have a great space with a gorgeous large bar for the cocktail hour and a beautiful ballroom with hard-wood floors and plenty of room for dancing!

We were grateful for the work that Aaron Messina and his team did and would strongly recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding in the Rhode Island area!

My husband and I worked with Abbie and Aaron. They were both fantastic and we cant say enough great things about their work ethic and flexibility. Abbie had left a few months before our event and there was a mixup with the paperwork and Aaron worked with us to make our night spectacular!! Rhodes on the Pawtuxet was the absolute best choice we could have made to host our wedding reception! Abby was amazing to work with, she is no longer there but others who we delt with there were amazing as well! Our guests can't stop talking about how much fun they had! The wait staff was very professional and the food by Russell Moore catering was fantastic, we had gone to two tastings prior to our wedding and we choice dishes we had sampled from each, it was executed the exact same way it was presented at the tastings! All of our guests loved the food especially the appetizers during cocktail hour, the New England themed ones were a hit, the mini clam cakes and chowder are a must! While our wedding party was outside doing photos, Abby came out with appetizers and drinks for the wedding party so we wouldn't miss out, she took care of the entire event , making sure our families had a great time and leaving us worry free! You would be a fool not to book with them!

Aaron Messina, Manager of Rhodes, was an absolute pleasure to work with. He accommodated all of our requests and willingly set-up our many props/decorations. Aaron was timely in his email communication and met with us on multiple occasions to ensure that all details were accounted for. Our guests are still raving about the food, the room (we rented uplighting and lanterns), the music (we had a band that was incredible- Steve Anthony and the Persuasions, and the overall flow of the night. Everything about our reception was picture perfect and we have Rhodes to thank for it!

The gleaming hardwood floors and spacious layout won us over, and the lighting installation was so gorgeous that even pictures taken on cell phones are stunning (can't wait to get our professional images back!). We received endless compliments from our guests, many saying they had never been to a more beautiful wedding. The best part is, the beauty of Rhodes is not weather-dependent--you could have a your wedding in the middle of winter with ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all indoors in unique, beautiful spaces.

Our experience working with Jessica was seamless, professional, and delightful. She gave us the sense that everything was taken care of. She was with us the whole way from booking until the day of the wedding, efficiently communicating with us to confirm important details during the planning process to calming my nerves before I walked down the aisle and making sure our card box was in a secure location during the reception. She was extremely thorough; great at her job.

With a late-booking discount, the Rhodes package price was on the low end of the venues we looked into and the quality of services on the high end. However, I take issue with the inflated prices of the wedding industry in general; we spent what I view as an exorbitant amount of money for the actual goods and services received. So with the caveat of "wedding venues are insanely expensive," we would rate Rhodes as having very good value.

All in all, we would highly recommend Rhodes on the Pawtuxet. Extremely visually appealing, top-notch professional service, the best day of our lives.

I had my wedding reception at Rhodes and every detail was perfect! Jessica and the staff were amazing and made sure everything was perfect. I didn't have to worry about anything. The staff set everything up for me exactly as I wanted. I was so happy with all the details of my wedding. It was a stress free day and I was truly able to enjoy my day. The staff kept us on track so we were able to do everything we wanted at our reception. They also let us take pictures throughout the venue for no additional charge. The wedding package we selected included so much and it truly made our wedding great. The food was amazing as well. I would absolutely recommend Rhodes on the Pawtuxet and Russel Morin Fine Catering to anyone looking to book a wedding reception.

Dream Wedding, Incredible Staff

We had our dream wedding at Rhodes! Hillary was incredibly helpful from the start to the end of our planning process. We had a number of specific requests and cultural elements that we wanted to integrate and Hillary was incredibly accommodating to them all. She helped us to plan other elements of the wedding too - from recommendations for a band, to being flexible on our bar package, to suggesting the best layout and setup of the venue for our wedding.

The unique history and architecture of the venue is unmatched - all of our guests remarked upon how stunning it was. We were also able to save a ton on decor because we were able to use some decor from the venue and the gorgeous setting didn't really require much. Despite the torrential downpour of rain on the day of the wedding and last minute surprises, the staff at Rhodes worked really hard to make our wedding day as smooth and seamless as possible. The cost of the venue was also incredibly affordable for the quality of service that we received. My only (slight) issue was that it was sometimes difficult to get in touch with the venue when I had questions and I wished there was more of an easy way to have a record of our prior conversation through an online system, like some of our other vendors. However, Hillary did an amazing job of communicating with us when she was available and again, was very accommodating, kind, and helpful. I highly recommend this venue to anyone, particularly those who are on a tight budget and want that old school charm and elegance!

The team at Rhodes was fantastic. Seven months after our wedding and we still hear amazing things from our friends and family about the service, the food and the bartenders. Jess was wonderful to work with; professional and skilled in her line of work. I had a difficult mother to deal with during the wedding process and Jess supported my side of the decisions and helped me truly make my wedding day a dream come true between the decor, layout and overall feel.

Rhodes on the Pawtuxet was a beautiful place to have our wedding reception. It is a large hall, where it can hold up to 800 people, but we had about 235 people and the place was perfect. The tables were nicely spaced apart, without any crowding and there was a ton of dance floor space. There is a nice stage for the DJ. We had uplighting, which totally transformed the venue and it was beautiful.

Jessica took care of everything for us, from scheduling, to the set up (we were very specific with # of chairs per table, children per table). I was very pleased that my friend who had severe allergies was able to eat, and Jessica checked in with her throughout the night and made sure she was taken care of. I greatly appreciated that, as well as how she accommodated for extra guests that I did not anticipate. I only had two small problems. I could not make the one day of food tasting, which was a Thursday evening. It was possible to have a private tasting, but the options would have been more limited. I would have preferred if it was on a weekend, but everything worked out. I also found an issue with the bill twice, and Jessica and the finance department took care of that immediately for me. Both were very minor things, and I could not have asked for things to work out better.

The food was delicious and overall, very good experience. Would definitely recommend them

I looked at several venues for my wedding before settling on Rhodes. While some of the other options were tempting due to a tight budget, Rhodes was the only one that gave me "the feeling" when I walked in. Goosebumps! This clean, beautiful, historic building would be perfect for any wedding no matter what your theme, and it was certainly perfect for mine. What really ended up making for a perfect wedding, though, was the staff of Rhodes and Russell Morin. As our wedding coordinator, Jessica Krasner was friendly and helpful from our first meeting. Despite returning from maternity leave just a few months before our wedding, she was right on the ball and always available to answer questions and guide us through the planning process. On our wedding day, she did a beautiful job of setting up our centerpieces, favors, and decorations exactly how I had imagined they would look. She made herself available to us throughout the night and checked in on us several times, but was never intrusive. It seemed really important to her that we have a perfect, memorable, stress free night...she even went so far as to sew a button back on my groom's tux! The night unfolded without a hitch, and the food was amazing (we got compliments on that from just about ALL of our guests!). We also decided to get our wedding cake through Russell Morin and I was able to work closely through email with Emily McManus, who really took the time to make the cake exactly what I wanted. It was lovely AND delicious. Overall this was a great experience that I would highly recommend to anyone who is trying to plan their dream wedding. We all know how hard it is to please everyone, but I can honestly say that at the end of the night: I was happy, my husband was happy, our families were happy, and our guests were happy. What more could anyone ask for??

We had our wedding reception at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet. Abbie was a fabulous coordinator who thought of everything! The entire night went very smoothly. The food was phenomenal. All our guests would not stop raving about it! We could not have asked for anything better!

Our wedding day at Rhodes was PERFECT! Maggie was extremely helpful and accommodating on our wedding day as well as our rehearsal. She did great with our items we brought in the week of the wedding. She helped us with a lot of quotes because we kept adjusting what we wanted to fit our budget. The food was exquisite and the mango chicken was better than anyone could imagine. The cake done by Russel Morin was funfetti for us and beyond delicious. The only reason it's 4 stars and not 5 is because there were just some times my wife and I felt like we weren't a top priority for Rhodes. We do understand there are tons of weddings, but you want to feel like the most important, especially with the money you spend. Most importantly though, and it can't be stressed enough, is our day went perfectly start to finish.

The venue was breathtaking, the food superb and Jessuca was an absolute gem. Russell Morin Catering is top notch which is why my foodie son-in-law and daughter chose RHODES. Perfect day in every way.

The venue was truly unbelievable! We are extremely pleased with how our wedding turned out! The staff was wonderful and helpful. However, I do have some things to share when considering this venue.

A. Be aware that there are many things that are not included if you don't go with the all inclusive. We had to pay extra for up-lighting, colored napkins, chairs, GOBO, chandeliers....

B. The on-site outdoor ceremony area is nothing to write home about. We settled for having it inside and it turned out to be absolutely beautiful.

C. Food was amazing! However, we had to pay extra for certain hors d'oeuvres and entree options.

Again, we were extremely happy with how our wedding turned out . Just be careful because different options and add-ons hike up the cost significantly!

The place was beautiful and initially the coordinator Jessica was great until the day of the wedding. So many of our guests had negative comments about how rude the bar tenders were as well as how unfriendly Jessica was. She snapped at one of the guests when asked where the place cards were for seating. If it was just one guest saying this then maybe I would just assume it was the guest, but we heard many negative comments over the weeks following the wedding There seemed to be a negative unfriendly attitude as soon as the cocktail hour started and continued through the reception. She was very unprofessional and I was surprised because she seemed great during the planning. If she had an issue with something, she should not have taken it out on the guests. We had hoped to have my other sons wedding here also, but he as well as his fiance were turned off by the rude attitudes. The wait staff on the other hand was wonderful. The short ribs were very over cooked but the chicken was great.
