Highly recommend Reverend Judy Grimes

I couldn't have asked for a more sentimental, and meaningful ceremony. Reverend Judy Grimes did a wonderful job. We were so moved by her words, and the natural positive spirit Judy carries with her. I highly recommend her as the most important part of your special day.

Great service

Judy performed our ceremony and we absolutely adored her. She did a great job at our ceremony and really worked hard to tie things in to it that were unique and personal to my husband and I. She was very willing to adapt and change her script to make it fit exactly what we wanted. We also live out of town and she was extremely responsive to email and was available to communicate and meet in a variety of different ways such as phone, FaceTime, email, and in person. We would recommend her to all brides and grooms looking for an officiant.

Absolutely incredible!

Judy was absolutely incredible. She wrote a beautiful ceremony and helped us create the beginning we’ve always wanted. She really got to know us and took the time to personalize and sculpt the ceremony meant for us. She was so caring and welcoming.

Vow Renewal

Judy helped me create the perfect day! My husband and I re-did our vows at 5 years. We like to consider it more of an anniversary celebration as opposed to a
vow renewal. We went up north towards Elk Rapids and being unfamiliar with the area, she suggested a perfect spot. We communicated back and forth so I knew exactly what to expect. Judy is a great officiant and you can tell she loves her job.

Judy was our officiant for our August wedding, and she did an amazing job! We were able to FaceTime with her as well as have an in-person meeting during the planning process to finalize our ceremony, and all of her suggestions were great. She was also incredibly helpful and organized for rehearsal to make sure everything ran smoothly in our very non-traditional outdoor venue. I couldn't begin to tell you how many compliments we have received from family and friends on how beautiful her message was. We are so happy we were able to work with her, she helped make our day so special!

Ken did a wonderful job performing our ceremony. We had lots of compliments on his words and how he did a great job. Ken and Judy are super nice people and worked with us on our ceremony. We got exactly what we wanted and are so very happy. Highly satisfied, and I highly recommend them. :)

We had an wonderful experience with Northern Michigan Ministers. Judy was the officiant at our summer wedding and we could not have asked for anyone better. She truly provided us with the perfect ceremony, taking the time to get to know us individually and as a couple prior to the wedding. The ceremony was beautiful and personal. She added such a feeling of warmth and every word she spoke was heartfelt, meaningful, and sincere. My husband and I are so grateful to have found such a wonderful officiant and definitely recommend her!

Ken was just what we were looking for. He is a kind person and an experienced officiant. He helped keep us organized with the marriage license requirements and documents. Ken did a nice job of bridging over the fact that we did not have a prior relationship with him as many couples do with their officiant. His ceremony script combined our preferences with his background into a thoughtful exchange that was just right.

More than one person at our small ceremony stated they would hire Judy if their kids end up marrying in Northern Michigan. I new I liked Judy after talking on Skype and meeting her, what I did not expect was how calming her energy was for me during our rehearsal and ceremony.

Judy performed our August ceremony. She was perfect! She made the ceremony so personal, she even teared up in the middle of it. It was exactly what we wanted and our guests (and my Mother) keep commenting on what a beautiful joyous ceremony we had.
I am a wedding coordinator so have worked with Judy many times and my clients have always been very happy. Working with her personally though I was so touched with the time, thought and emotion she put into our lovely ceremony. Judy is the best and I am so glad we decided to have her be such a special part in the most important part of our day!

We got married at The Grand Traverse Resort in September 2016. Rev. Judy Grimes was great! She was always there when we had questions. She was able to make our non religious ceremony very personal!

Reverend Ken was absolutely amazing. We received so many compliments from our guests on how well he did. He also made it fun when we couldn't get the candles lit because of the wind and when my husband got a little excited to get me from my dad. I couldn't imagine anyone else marrying us. He was extremely nice and kind. They were very responsive to emails too. We were able to pick and choose different parts of our vows. It was incredible. He even gave us a hard copy of our ceremony.

Ken and Judy are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They are those people you just want to be around, who make you feel right at home and like you have known them forever! Couldn’t imagine it any other way!

Judy was the officiant for our wedding and without a doubt she was a perfect fit! With both of us coming from very little religious affiliation we weren’t sure how we wanted to go about the ceremony, but after looking into a few up north, we found Judy and it was quite a relief. She was able to help guide us through the process and gave us the ability to change anything we wanted. We knew we wanted at least some religion in the ceremony and with Judy’s help we were able to adjust it as needed! She is one of the sweetest ladies we have met and It was definitely an honor to have her as our officiant.

We worked with Judy, as we had experienced her professionalism prior to our ceremony at my sisters wedding the year before. She is easy to work with, and does a great job with giving you options and putting your ceremony together. I really enjoyed that she provided you with material and allowed you to design your ceremony the way you wanted it. Everything was well put together, and went smoothly. Even without a rehearsal. She is great!
