A Concert - Level Wedding Experience

Revolution Sound & DJs exceeded every expectation we had. From day one, Steven & Jessica were incredibly professional, responsive, and easy to work with.

They provided full production for our wedding including DJ, audio, lighting, dance floor and special effects. Everything was executed flawlessly.

We also had live artists performing, and their team handled the entire technical Ryder seamlessly. It truly felt like a private concert-level production. Our guests are still talking about it!

Best DJ we could’ve asked for!

Steven did an amazing job at our wedding weekend. From the pre-wedding planning to the execution at the events, Steven was responsive, flexible, made sure he had all the information he needed from us to understand the atmosphere we envisioned for our wedding, and exceeded all expectations.

He did 2 events for us, a welcome party and the wedding. We gave him an initial list of songs we’d like played so that he knew the vibe we wanted but gave him the creative freedom to play them when he thought best and add songs he thought would fit. He did an incredible job reading the room and playing according to the crowd so that people were engaged throughout the night, while covering the various genres of music we had included in our list of songs. Steven is an incredibly talented DJ, and a professional who it was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him for any event you’re planning in PR.

Best Wedding Ever!

Everybody told me that my wedding was the best wedding they had ever been to. This was in a large part thanks to Steven and Jessica. They did such an amazing job. First of all, my wedding planners were the worst and Jessica as the MC stepped up and ran the wedding herself. She was paying attention to any dips in energy and was proactive in moving things around such as the garter and bouquet toss to make sure that people remained engaged. Steven was also paying attention to what genres of music and songs were keeping people on the dance floor and was very responsive to the crowd needs. The dance floor was packed the whole night and I had the wedding of my dreams! Oh also their timing on the cold sparks was on point! Thank you revolution Sound for everything! I highly recommend for all weddings and events!

Excellent customer service and mixing!

We hired Revolution Sound for our outdoor wedding reception in December 2024 and it was the best decision! We first contacted Steven and Jessica during their busy season (May graduations) so we had to follow up to get a response. But once we were in touch, it was smooth sailing. They put together a contract with options for our outdoor event and were accommodating when we decided to add a service a few weeks before the wedding. The setup was seamless and professional. They were familiar with the venue which made everything run smoothly.

We had different cultures + ages represented at our event and Steven did an amazing job mixing the playlists we put together. Everyone felt included and the dance floor was packed the entire night. Great service

Steven and his wife were awesome. Steven used the worksheets we completed to create the perfect playlist from ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception. His wife was an amazing MC - from announcing us for the first time as husband and wife, bridal party introductions, father/bride dance, mother/groom dance, etc. The starlight dance floor was so beautiful, the cold sparks made everything feel like we were in our own movie; the timing of each spark was perfect. The light monogram, uplighting, everything was amazing. Highly recommend!!

One of the best parts of our wedding

If you want your guests on their feet the whole night, hire Steven and Jessica!!! We had such an amazing night and Revolution DJ's had such a huge part of making this night amazing. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the music was. We had both Steven and Jessica as our DJ and Emcee. We also added on the cold sparks to our package and they were an amazing addition. Our first dance and entrances were extra special and memorable. Steven met with us about 2 weeks prior to our wedding date and we went over all of the details. They both did such an amazing job making our night truly one of the best parties everyone has been to!! Thank you both so much!!!

FUN filled night!

The most FUN night of our lives would not have been possible without Steven and his crew! From the beginning, Steven understood our style and used his artistic talent in combination with our playlists for an epic night of FUN. He DJ’d for our cocktail hour as well as reception and we danced literally from start to finish. So much fun!

Revolution Sound provided perfect service! They were super responsive from the beginning, they can communicate in both English and Spanish, and they understood exactly what we wanted for our wedding reception. They sent us detailed forms ahead of time so we could let them know the songs, music genres, and announcements to make, which they followed perfectly. I didn’t have to worry about anything at all on the day of. To quote my sister at the end of the party, “Best DJ ever!”

The best Dj hands down!

I can’t thank Revolution enough for their incredible service and support. We had to reschedule several times due to the pandemic and each time they remained courteous and professional. I( groom) had a very particular request that required specific details regarding a surprise for the bride and guests and Revolution helped create a night that everyone will remember! Our multicultural family danced all night!

Steven and Jessica were great to work with! They were really responsive, accommodated all our requests, and had our guests dancing all night. I'm Puerto Rican and my husband is from India, and we wanted the reception to be enjoyable for all our family and friends. Half of our family spoke Spanish and half English, so we wanted a bilingual MC. Jessica did a wonderful job at communicating and welcoming everyone. And Steven was a great DJ! He played a mixture of English, Spanish, and Bollywood music. And he even made a mix of 2 songs for our first dance. Our wedding was so much fun thanks to them both!

My husband and I are big party people and are no strangers to the club scene. The DJ at our wedding had big shoes to fill and Steven ABSOLUTELY understood the assignment. Before I even paid a deposits we chatted through email about what I was looking for and he’d sent me form to fill out to get a feel for the kind of music we were looking for. I was completely confident in him, but even just to be sure I went the extra mile and made him a YouTube playlist, lol. It was not in vain because he totally nailed it! Amazing!!!

Steven was absolutely incredible! My husband and I got hired Revolution Sound for our destination wedding. Every single one of our guests danced the entire night. We gave him a list of songs we would like to hear during our wedding and he played every single one of them!! We also used him for lighting around the venue, and it gave it the ambiance we wanted in the venue. I had the time of my life at my wedding and I can truly thank Steven for helping to make it that way.

Endless Dance Party

Steven was extremely responsive and professional. We hired him before hiring our wedding planner, and he was clear on the process. He timely sent us forms for songs we wanted at the different stages of the reception. We sent him the playlists a little late and he was able to accommodate us. He also worked super well with our planner and made suggestions for us that ended up making everything look better with the different lighting. The music was amazing! There was not one single person not dancing -- I have never seen anything like it. The one thing I wanted people to get from our wedding was that they had the best time, and thanks to Steven, I was able to get that. Everyone has told us that it was the best wedding they've ever been to. They are not only good at their job but they are professional, responsive, kind, and accommodating. Hireee!

Our Guests Can't Stop Talking About Our Wedding!

If you're anything like me and hesitant about hiring a destination "wedding dj" then listen up - stop scrolling and book Steven and Jessica with Revolution Sounds PR. Music was priority at my wedding (daughter of a retired dj). Our families come from the Caribbean and the States so we were looking for a DJ to provide a seamless blend of R&B, Hip-Hop, Reggae and Soca for the culture... and not just commercial old school hits. Though Steven told us not to worry, we provided him with an extensive playlist to work with and hoped that he was familiar enough with the selections to curate good energy and vibes. And boy oh boy, he had everyone dancing, sweating, jumping.... seriously, everybody! We even caught the wait staff in the back partying and singing! It was so good and I would absolutely recommend 10 out of 10!

Best DJ Services in Puerto Rico

Revolution Sound made my wedding the most magical experience I could ask for. Not only were they the DJ, they created the cloud effect for us on our first dance. They also made the venue look extra special with the ambiance lighting. Steven respected my music choices and knew exactly what to play to make my wedding a party. Incredible Experience!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Steven and the Revolution Sound Team! From the first time I inquired about their services, Steven was always incredibly quick and responsive to make sure he knew what kind of night we wanted to have.

Steven was very professional and really listened to what types of music we liked and the ambience we wanted to create. He was so nice and patient with us answering all of our many questions along the way!

Revolution Sound provided the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception and it was PERFECT. Most importantly - all of our guests were up and dancing during a PANDEMIC! My husband and I were shocked at how many people were (safely) on the dance floor the entire night, and we owe that all to Steven and team.

We also used their other services (lighting, dance floor, and special effects); everything was so BEAUTIFUL and exactly the way we wanted!

Highly recommend to all the couples who are getting married in PR, especially destination weddings!!

Danced the Night Away

The music, the lights, the attention to detail were fantastic! My friends and family said it was the best wedding they have been to and the credit goes to Revolution Sound and DJ's. By far the best DJ service ever!!! We had our destination wedding at La Concha in San Juan!!! We had 130 guest fly out to our wedding and all of our guest talked about how great the DJ was!! I agree with them 100%!! My wedding was super fun because of the DJ, I’ve never been to a wedding where the dance floor was full from the beginning of the wedding to the very end!!! From the moment we hired them to the wedding day, everything ran smoothly, and trust me, thats what you want and need during your wedding planning and during the big day. Everyone danced every song and people wouldn't stop commenting on how good the playlist was. I didn't had the time to make a playlist so I asked them if they could do it for me, and they did an excellent job. Also the DJ setting, the lights, their professionalism, EVERYTHING was perfect. Phenomenal dj

Listen. We (and our family) love to dance and party, so the music was absolutely key to that. Steven delivered phenomenally on that end and had our reception jumping from the very beginning. He was responsive to our emails and worked with us to understand our exact vision for the music part of our special day. He played a beautiful medley of love songs through the ages leading up to the ceremony and had the dancefloor packed throughout the reception. Folks even started dancing during dinner, that's how good the music was. If you haven't booked your DJ yet, hit up Steven and know that he'll bring the fire - you'll just need to make sure your guests have the stamina to dance all night! The most important part of our wedding was to have a dance party and lots of fun. Steven delivered!!! Super professional and responsive from the get-go. We had the pleasure to work with Deejay Steven and wife for our destination wedding. Both very pleasant to work with. In the contract Steven included forms (very organize) and gave us song suggestions which made it so much easier. Clear quality sound 👍🏼👍🏼. ONLY regret was not choosing the mic and speaker for the ceremony which Steven suggested a few times, but since we had an intimate 50 guest wedding we didn’t feel it would be necessary. Amazing service

Revolution Events provided over 300’ feet of white draping & decorative lighting for our event. The service transformed our venue and we are extremely happy with the results. Jessica was very professional since the first communication and was always in top of the game. Not one complaint! Revolution met and exceeded all of my expectations. I hired them for my beach ceremony, terrace cocktail hour, indoor reception, and reception uplightung. The quality of sound was great given the noise on the beach. The DJ read the crowd very well to make perfect song selections my for my diverse guests. The uplightung made my reception 10x more beautiful. Not to mention, the DJ booth is super stylish! Great people, great equipment, great service, great price! I’d highly recommend.

These guys traveled across the entire island of Puerto Rico to provide sound and lighting for my 3 day weekend wedding. I know Steven since high school, so when I figured out that he was doing weddings I immediately knew who my DJ was going to be. He was my first and only option, I knew he was not going to disappoint me and he didn't. I booked him a year before the wedding and since then he was with us through the entire process. He gave excellent suggestions for music and lighting upgrades. His wife, Jessica was excellent as a entertainer. Everybody enjoyed our wedding! My wedding was just 2 months after Maria and Steven and Jessica were always available for us, even with the difficulties that PR is experiencing. Steven and his wife did an outstanding job! They arrived early and had things set up and ready to go. He was very helpful with song selection and had a huge variety of music! We asked for several not rarely heard songs and he was able to provide them with no problem at all! We left the dancing music to his discretion for the most part as my wife and her family are from there. We just told him the type of music and he was able to keep everyone in the dance floor for over 3 hours! There was never one song played that people didn't dance to! I've been to a lot of weddings where for a lot of the time no one was dancing because of the music but not ours. Again, great job Steven!!!

We just got married at Rincon Beach Resort in Puerto Rico and Steven and Jessica were the best! They were very responsive via phone and email and met up with us whenever we were in Puerto Rico prior to our wedding. The most amazing DJ in Puerto Rico. I had a blended wedding, and he was able to cater to all tastes exceptionally. He worked side by side with us to make every song for every part of the event perfect, he even made us a mix! All my guests loved the playlist, and he was very attentive to what people liked and did not like, and managed the playlist that way, he did not just hit play. He also offers wonderful lighting decorations and will work with your wedding planner so everything looks beautiful! He is the best at the best price. Would not recommend anyone else!

We had a blast! This company provides a really nice service. We booked the DJ service, music for the cocktail hour, uplighting, monogram projection, and flower pattern projections. I was hesitant about not having any other music/band entertainment at our wedding but the dance floor was packed. I loved it! The room was turned seriously beautiful and needed minimal decoration after all of Steven's uplighting products. His DJ booth was also very nice. His team is very professional, and I had no trouble getting in touch with him to discuss all the details. Our reception was a fun and classy affair thanks to their service. Thanks guys!

Book Revolution!
My wife and I got married in Rincon, PR this past January and used Revolution Sound as our DJ and Karaoke service! So there we were, on a rooftop overlooking the ocean, singing karaoke and dancing all night long. Best wedding ever.

To get a bit more detailed though: Steven and his wife are on top of things. We didn't have the money to pay for an event planner so we had to do all the planning ourselves. Finding and contacting Steven on WeddingWire was one of the best decisions we made. We met at the venue months in advance and walked through everything we wanted. Steven helped us with lighting, sound, playlists, timing of wedding processional, everything! They even miked up one of our guests who surprised us by singing us a song and playing the ukelele! Didn't miss a beat. So professional!

Revolution Sound and DJ's helped turn our wedding into an event that our friends and family will remember for decades.

One more thing to note. Planning our wedding from afar (we live in New York) led to a lot of communication problems with vendors, caterers, etc. Emails aren't a normal way to do business in PR. Most of the time you have to get someone on the phone to confirm anything. Revolution Sound was the exact opposite. Every time I emailed them they got back to me within about 20 minutes. I felt completely taken care of.
Do yourself a favor and book Revolution.

Weddings are very stressful to plan especially a destination wedding, but I can say that out of all the vendors I had the pleasure of working with, Steven was my favorite to deal with. He was VERY responsive to all my emails and my many requests and/or changes. I am very anal and I chose a lot of our music so it was hard to let him take control in choosing other songs to fill in the time but he delivered and picked some awesome music that I never would have thought of. Working with Steven was easy since day 1. He is extremely responsive, very professional and flexible. We were very detailed about "Play" and "Do not play" list of songs, protocol and cocktail hour music and everything was on point. Our dance floor was full ALL NIGHT! Steven was just great! At first, I really wanted a band thinking that the DJ was just not going to cut it, but Steven proved me wrong! He was just great from the get go, and even went the extra mile by recommending other vendors and even a wedding coordinator (his wife Jessica) which I contracted as well, and it was the perfect day! We reviewed the songs to play beforehand, instructions were given on when to play what music and what to play "after hours" and he followed all of our requests. He even helped setting up a slideshow presentation with pictures of us throughout the years. A+

Steven was excellent. It was one of the best decisions that we made regarding vendors. He was recommended by my wedding planner and I booked him immediately after reading all the reviews. I sent him a list of… well basically my iTunes playlist and he knew exactly which ones to choose to make us danced all night. The music during dinner was also amazing! He chose some from a list a sent him and added some great choices of his own. I was really impressed. He is very professional. He introduced himself when he arrived and asked us if there was any other song we wanted to here. Our first dance song was an oldie and he did a great job finding one that did not sound scratchy.
In addition to the music, he helped with lighting. The ball room had a not so pretty curtain and his lights were a perfect touch to help tone them down. It also complemented the decoration beautifully. He created a beautiful environment.
The DJ station is beautiful and classy. I repeat You will not regret hiring Revolution Sound & DJ. Gracias Steven!

I worked with Steven for several months planning my destination wedding in Ponce, Puerto Rico and I am very happy I chose them to be our DJ for my wedding. I chose Revolution Sound based on wedding wire reviews and I am so glad I did! Steven was our DJ. He was SO responsive, flexible, and professional. We sent him different types of music we would like to hear at our wedding and he listened to exactly what we wanted. He was able to feel the crowd out and really keep the party going.

He was the most responsive vendor I used and went above and beyond to help me in other areas as well (creating a monogram for my wedding and a video collage of pictures). He also played the night before at my rehearsal dinner.

The wedding planner I used was unable to make it to my wedding and Steven and his wife took over his role as well. They made sure the party ran smoothly and I am very happy I chose them. highly recommend !!

My husband and I got married in Rincón, P.R. and had Steven from Revolution Sound PR as our DJ. It was one of the best decisions that we made regarding vendors. We booked him immediately after taking into consideration the excellent reviews they had and the list of services that he sent us. Below is a list of pros and reasons why I recommend him without a doubt:
• Music was excellent. Various guests at our wedding commented that they had never been to a wedding where 99% of the people were up on the dance floor and dancing throughout most of the reception. At some point during our wedding, every single seat was empty. Even my shy, 85-year old aunt danced! On one of my many, many e-mails to Steven, I told him that I wanted everyone to party nonstop and have a blast. He exceeded my expectations.
• Prompt responses every single time (and I e-mailed A LOT!).
• He was flexible and listened to our requests. He followed a list of some songs that we gave him and accommodated changes that we asked for.
• Team player (he played along with a first dance surprise that we had).
• Ambient lighting (this was one of my favorite things. You need to ask him about this! He created a beautiful environment according to our wedding colors that gave our venue a unique touch. I love looking at pictures and seeing the pinkish light that we had during our reception.).
• Beautiful setup. The actual DJ station is beautiful and classy. We also added monitors on each side of the DJ booth in which we were able to display pictures.
• Professional and on time. He was on top of his game at all times. It felt like we had a friend DJ-ing our wedding.
This is an extra, but his wife was with him during the wedding and I felt like I made a friend. She introduced herself to us, took pictures, helped me with my dress and was always very attentive to everything. It was great meeting her and having her there.
You will not regret hiring Revolution Sound & DJ.

I was planning on having my wedding on the west side of the island at Rincon Beach Resort and was not sure if I was going to have a DJ or band. When I saw the amazing reviews on wedding wire from Revolution Sound & DJ, I immediately contacted them. Steven is very professional and knowledgeable and answered all the questions and concerns I had. I knew immediately he was the guy! The day of the wedding everything turned out perfect. They provided the microphone and sound system for the ceremony making everything sound perfectly. I also hired them for the decorative lighting and custom monogram which took the room décor to another level. Lastly, they provided the music. We did our first dance and he was able to fade the song we chose exactly at the time we told him. For the dancing part, I had given him some suggestions but allowed him to use his experience to play what he thought would motivate people to dance. I was afraid it would take a lot of effort to get people dancing as there was a great diversity of taste in music at the wedding but boy was I wrong! Our biggest problem became getting them out of the dance floor. Even my husband’s 95 year grandmother could not resist the music. At the end I had to kick people off or otherwise they would not have stopped. People had such a great time thanks to Revolution Sound & DJ. I highly recommend them! They will make your event an amazing experience.

Stephen was FANTASTIC!! My husband and I literally sent our play list about 5 days before our wedding lol...and Stephen still nailed it! The music was everything we wanted and more! The best DJ. When we started our journey to find our DJ we meet with several ppl before making our selection. Revolution Sound & DJ's was absolutely fabulous! Revolution sound & DJ, fue una de las mejores decisiones que tome durante el proceso de planificacion de la boda. Ellos mostraron profesionalismo, responsabilidad y tomaron en cuenta mis deseos en todo momento, cumpliendolos en su totalidad. Inclusive cerca de la fecha de la ceremonia tuve la necesidad de hacer los nombres y los numeros de las mesas y Jessica (una persona encantadora) me resolvio el problema de forma rapida y quedando todo perfecto!!

Revolution Sound & DJ was a good choice for our destination wedding. We first met Steven Negron, owner of Revolution Sound & DJ, via Skype and we realized he was committed to make our day special and fun. We were very specific in regards to the music genres we wanted and he gave us a wedding sample playlist that we loved. We were a little skeptical that we didn’t get to meet the person who was working our event but Steven assured us of the DJs professionalism & expertise. The DJ worked well with our playlist. There was a small mishap where they didn’t have one of the song selections but it was unnoticeable to our guests and the DJ was able to download it & play it on a timely manner. Revolution Sound & DJ had worked at our reception site before, so they gave us ideas on where to place the DJ and they even asked the hotel for a small stage to overlook all the guests. The setup looked great especially with their lit DJ cabinet and lighting effects. The DJ kept everyone dancing all night long - no one wanted the party to end. Revolution Sound and DJ’s was recommended to us by our wedding planner. Steven Negron email us a very complete list of his services and various photos of previous activities so were able to appreciate the lighting setups they provided.

Since our first telephone conversation we were very pleased with Steven, he was very professional and made us feel like we were in the right hands. He listened to all our requests and preferences. We were a little worried because we had a very mixed list of guest a we wanted everyone to have a good time.
The services we requested were sound system and inalambric microphones for the protocol at the beginning of the reception (welcome speech, toast, first dance, etc.) and music. We had a live band playing in the wedding as well so we needed music during the band breaks and after the band left. We wanted also to be sure the DJ did not played the same songs as the band did.

He was GREAT!!! He truly delivered. The music was great; he has a good sense of the crowd and he knows how to have everyone dancing.

If you are worried about the sound quality, let me tell you my husband is really picky about it and during our conversation he asked him all sort questions about his sound system to make sure it was of good quality and it truly was!

I was a little nervous about having music everyone at the wedding could enjoy since I had so many different types of people attending but revolution sound did a great job. They were friendly, accommodating and always available by email, which was a big help since I was planning a destination wedding from home. They played all our requests and kept everyone dancing all night. The bilingual MC service was great too.

I would like to give special thanks to DJ Steven Negron from Revolution Sound & DJ’s for making our wedding day unforgettable. It was a pleasure working with him. Since the first communication we felt very comfortable. He made us as many questions you can imagine and spent hours with us in online meetings to be sure that everything he would propose suited our needs. Also’ he explained in detail every service and illustrated them with pictures and videos.

In our event, he provided an amazing lighting setup for the dance floor and stage area, decorative lighting that matched our color theme, a high quality sound system for his DJ Service and for the Live Band among other event enhancements but the most important thing was that he didn't skip a beat and read the crowd perfectly keeping everyone dancing all night since the first song. The service provided by Revolution Specialists was worth every penny.

Please, be careful with "cheap" DJs, I have been in weddings literally ruined by the lack of experience and professionalism of the DJ.

I would definitely recommend Revolution for any event, especially weddings.

Thanks again to Steven and his staff for making for us a night to remember!

Hello my name is Patricia and my husband Kevin and I had the pleasure of working with Steven Negron of Revolution Sound DJ for our wedding at Rincon Beach Resort in Puerto Rico. I actually found Revolution Sound DJ by doing a random search on google while in Puerto Rico taking care of other wedding business, so my husband and I contacted Steven Negron of Revolution Sound Dj and he was able to meet with us that very day. We explained to him how we envisioned our wedding day, we wanted our dance floor full from the beginning all the way to the end of our celebration and WOW did they deliver. Revolution Sound Dj took our music outline & vision and elevated it to a whole other level. Our guests are still raving about our wedding day the food, decor, and definitely the fashion but the one thing that they could not stop talking about is the music and my husband and I could not agree more. So if you are looking for a DJ who is very professional as well as knowledgable about his craft We absolutely recommend Revolution Sound DJ YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. FYI Revolution Sound DJ also provided the lighting for our Rehearsal Dinner at the Pelican Grill also in Anasco Puerto Rico and it was AMAZING, so as you can see they provide many services and they all are FABULOUS.
