We are beyond thrilled with the experience we had with Reverend Ron at our wedding. From the moment we first spoke to him, we knew we were in great hands! He was warm, kind and professional. Ron was always there to help answer my many questions I threw his way - which was so appreciated and made me de-stress. On the day of our wedding, Reverend Ron exceeded all of our expectations. He gave a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony that many of our friends and family raved about. Connor (groom) had a couple little surprises hidden up his sleeve for the ceremony and he worked with Ron on the day of the wedding to have them implemented - from the huddle in the middle of the ceremony to the Roses at the end - Ron guided Connor and helped him plan his surprises. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better officiant. He truly went above and beyond to make our special day perfect! We highly recommend him to anyone looking for an exceptional officiant.

Great officiant for my small wedding
My now husband and I found Reverend Ron through a random Google search for wedding officiants in the Reno/Tahoe area. He had great reviews and we thought, "why not?". Reverend Ron performed a beautiful ceremony for our small wedding on Lake Tahoe. In the planning leading up to the event, he was super easy to communicate with and answered all our questions. Great Reverend at a Reasonable Price
I felt like he was very nice. He was also responsive and I enjoyed his personality. He didn't charge a travel fee, which I appreciated, and he made sure to explain things clearly. I also appreciated that he asked what my wedding colors were so that he could wear a tie that matched well--that's going the extra mile, in my opinion. He also stepped out of the way for the first kiss photo, and it's just something he does. I didn't have to ask him. I also really appreciated that he let me look over the vows and change them a little so that they were more reflective of my husband's and my relationship and that he added another touch of personalization during the ceremony--we love to fly fish, and he added that he hopes that we catch many golden trout during our lifetimes. We hope so too, Reverend. :) Overall, I think that he was well worth the very reasonable price. If we ever do a renewal ceremony, I will look him up and, hopefully, he'll still be officiating.

We hired Reverend Ronald Sayed after deciding to elope while at our favorite location South Lake Tahoe. I was looking for someone professional, someone with experience, yet who was kind, respectful, patient, and fun all in one. That is exactly what we got. From the first time I talked with him on the phone, he was thorough, told me his experience, what he charges, and also gave me tips on where to have my elopement, which locations are ideal and why. He showed up on time, did a great job, even gave our photographer some hints on great photo shots, and made our day extremely special and memorable. Reverend Ron made the wedding an special one since the first time we talked.
A genuine, caring person guided us through the process.
We sent many emails to different officiant and responses were more business like than anything else, Reverend Ron called me back as soon as he got my email, even though was a Sunday afternoon and he was busy with a family matter,nobody else called all emails responses.
We made the decision there and then, he was the one to officiant our wedding.
The ceremony was perfect because of him!

My wife and I met with Ronald before the pandemic at a coffee shop and instantly felt comfortable. He is very personable and easy to talk to. He has an immense amount of experience and let us know that we could choose however we wanted the ceremony to go whether it was more traditional or new age, everything could be changed. We ended up going with something that was a little religious but in a more spiritual way and we were not disappointed. On the wedding day Ronald was fun to chat with before the ceremony and calmed any nerves I had. He even fixed my half windsor knot to a double windsor knot which, did look a lot better for my suit. I highly recommend Ronald to be your reverend.

Joyful Reunion with Reverend Ron at Logan Shoals Vista
We had the very good fortune of meeting Reverend Ron back in 1996, when he officiated our wedding ceremony in Stateline, NV. Our fond memories of that special day and of Reverend Ron and his warmth and sincerity stayed with us through the years. For our 25th anniversary earlier this month, we decided to return to Lake Tahoe and renew our vows. We were delighted to meet again with Ron, this time at the very scenic Logan Shoals Vista overlooking the lake, where we chose to have a very informal and simple ceremony that we could even include our dog in. There Reverend Ron spoke to us with the same wisdom and thoughtfulness that he did in ’96, and he even incorporated some meaningful passages from our original ceremony. From the moment we saw him, it was like old friends reuniting and as if not a day had passed. It is without any hesitation that we wholeheartedly recommend the services of Reverend Ron Sayed.

Amazing service
After our minister canceled just 2 short months before our ceremony, Reverend Sayed stepped in to save our out of town service in beautiful south Lake Tahoe. The same day we asked him to preform our service, we spoke on the phone and he helped to comfort and reassure us that we could count on him! His service was absolutely beautiful and he offered many options for his performance (religious/nondenominational) and even included our son and family in his kind words.

From the very beginning in our communication through email and phone, he was warm, kind, responsive, a great listener, excited for us, flexible and he really cared. He was very genuine and we loved talking to him. We talked about what we wanted in our ceremony and it far exceeded our expectations. It was so personalized to us and our love. He then picked a place for us that couldn't have been better. When it was time to get married and we met in person, he welcomed us like old friends, made us feel comfortable and special. 16 Year Vow Renewal-Rob & Sandra Brogden (The Texans)
Janice with ""Ceremony of Love"(Who married us 16 years ago) coordinated with Reverend Ron to perform our Vow Renewal!! Reverend Ron was spectacular and we could not of had a better day!! He helped in making this a surprise for Sandra and was available weeks before to talk and help coordinate this special day for us. We are from Texas and my wife forgot her Blue Jeans so we renewed our vows in shorts and a fishing shirt. I wanted to make sure Sandra felt comfortable, so I asked Reverend Ron to wear Jean, Boots, & a Cowboy Shirt to make Sandra feel comfortable. So he did!!!!!!.

I can’t say in this small paragraph how much Ron meant to our wedding ceremony in Lake Tahoe. He performs his ceremony with feeling, sincerity, powerful words and a feeling that your part of something special with him at the wheel. This man doesn’t perform a “boxed” dry ceremony...he makes you and everyone there part of a story as he moves through guiding you to a ending where you feel like you’re in the presence of God and promising your lives to each other. I would have no one else perform this ceremony, he was perfect.

The ceremony that Reverend Ron Sayed conducted was very beautiful and outside the event itself he was very helpful and considerate.
In our initial call with Reverend Sayed, we worked out some general framework of how we wanted the ceremony to sound. It is worth noting that my wife and her parents are catholic and I myself am agnostic which is a bit of a minefield when it comes to figuring out what to say as an officiant. Reverend Sayed did an excellent job of making the ceremony respectful and beautiful for my wife and our religious family members, but kept it from being too deeply religious or drawn out.
Reverand Sayed was very knowledgeable in both the California and Nevada processes for obtaining the license and certificate. He made sure we had all the information to get everything we needed. I also appreciate his speedy communication whenever either of us had a question.

I found him on WeddingWire and after speaking with him on the phone, my (now) husband and I decided to meet with Reverend Ron to see if he was going to be the right fit for us. As soon as we met, we knew he was perfect for us. He is so warm and friendly... The type of person that you feel like you have known forever, even though you just met. He customized our ceremony to ensure it was personalized for us. He took the little things that we told him and incorporated them into our ceremony. After we got married, our guests were asking us "how long have you both known your reverend?" since he was so personable and you could tell, he really cared. My husband and I were really nervous at our ceremony, but Reverend Ron completely put us both at ease once we got to the end of the aisle. Even pre-wedding, he helped me plan the processional and was extremely helpful with tips and recommendations all along the way. We truly couldn't have asked for a better officiant. I am recommending Reverend Ron to EVERYONE! Thanks again :)

He was simply perfect
Reverend Ronald was absolutely amazing! He was funny, considerate and helped us sooo much before the ceremony. He made us feel at ease during the ceremony and he had a great attitude during the wedding. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for an officiant in the Tahoe/Nevada area to book him. My husband and I asked for a quick ceremony due to the heat, he gave us an amazing ceremony and even though it was quick, it didn’t feel rushed or like he left out anything that we wanted to be included in the ceremony. He was very attentive to our needs and made us both feel very calm up at the alter.

Rev Ron made us felt comfortable and at ease. He has a great sense of humor. On my wedding day, Rev Ron fixed my brother's tie, who was going to be walking me down the aisle. Reverend was very easy to work with. No matter what you envisioned for you ceremony, he will make it happen. It makes a tough situation better. Reverend Ron was extremely responsive from the beginning. He was warm and flexible, truly wanting to make our wedding day a memorable one. He even picked me a wildflower bouquet when he realized I didn't have one of my own. His energy was infectious and his officiating was personalized. The Rev. Ron Sayed, or Tahoe Padre as he's affectionately known by just-married couples throughout the Truckee-Tahoe-Reno area, was absolutely wonderful! I randomly found reverend Ron online last minute. Then the hotel I was staying at recommended him! He was very responsive and he and his wife were so helpful with planning my last minute wedding in Tahoe. He even recommended the free location, which was just perfect and had back up plans just in case the weather was bad. He made sure to get back to me quickly with any questions. Showed up in the middle of the snow storm and was very concerned about my hair getting messed up lol. He held his umbrella over me for a good part of the time. We told him we were not religious and he respected that. We left it to him to do the ceremony and the passages he picked were just perfect. He made our wedding so special! I would hire him again in a second!
