Reverend Atlas was more than we could have asked for. She was prepared by having different personal stories that she wove into the ceremony. She is such a lovely person and did everything to make this a special day. I would heartily recommend Rev Atlas to anyone who is Planning on getting married.

Great Find

Reverend Rita is a long time friend of the bride and the perfect choice for our non-denominational wedding. She was knowledgeable about the legal process, provided a structure for the flow of our service, was flexible about including the specific content we wanted, and creative about telling our "love story" in her remarks. She expertly guided us through the preparation and rehearsal, and was a confident and relaxed "host" for our guests. An experienced professional with a big heart, a sense of humor and true love for her profession.

Simple ceremony as we wished!

We are a couple who have been together for many years, and wanted to finalize and to make legal our arrangement. Our ceremony took place in my living room, and was very simple, but Rita made it very special for us. Our "vows" were very simple and straightforward, and we had two witnesses present. We highly recommend Rita for her flexibility in our desire to keep it simple. She is also an interesting person with the knack of making people comfortable.

Saved by Rita!

After our wedding was postponed due to COVID, our officiant backed out and we were left searching for an officiant at the last minute. Rita was recommended by another officiant and we are so lucky we found her! She came on board only 3 weeks prior to the wedding and completely gave us her all. She paid just as much attention to us as she would've normally. Rita lead the most beautiful ceremony and it felt like she had known us for years. We would definitely recommend Rita if you are looking for a warm and personal ceremony. Thank you Rita!

Wonderful!!!!

Rita was amazing from the start. She made everything so personal for us. Asking us our love story and multiple questions about each other (when we knew we loved each other, when we felt closest, what we love about each other etc) and went over them during our ceremony. I didn’t know what my husband said about me and vice versa. My guests loved it too. They felt so close to us. She gave us options of what we wanted and was super flexible and easy to work with. She made the ceremony truly so beautiful and special.

Personalized AMAZING ceremony

Reverend Rita is absolutely wonderful. She is so kind and really cares. She gets to know you and has a short questionnaire both spouses fill out to personalize the ceremony. The ceremony is sentimental and moving with cute and funny moments. I highly recommend Rev. Rita! She is definitely the absolute best.

Excellent, joyful, perfect, great communication.

Memorable day. Full of love and happiness. Rita captured our story perfectly and made our day the happiest of our lives. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants their love story told with care, detail and happiness and lots of love. She had married two of my closest friends and was a clear choice when we wanted someone to officiate our own wedding.

Amazing, easy, delightful, perfect!

Rita went above and beyond for our wedding. I really wanted a meaningful ceremony and with only two weeks Rita put together the most touching, heartfelt, amazing ceremony I could have ever asked for. She really got to know us and picked the most fitting readings for our wedding. She stayed in great communication and helped us work through any problems with vows and paperwork. She is also so kind, loving, caring and warm to the point I didn’t feel like a stranger preformed our wedding. She really exceed any of my expectations and had me balling my eyes out during the ceremony (in the best way). I couldn’t ask for a better officiant to perform our ceremony. I’m so grateful I came in contact with her, because she was the absolute best. I was even late giving back paperwork and she was so patient and understanding. I really can’t explain enough how amazing Rita really is. She made our day beyond perfect. Thank you Rita, for everything and for going above and beyond to make our day truly amazing.

Thank you Rita for making my wife's and I day special

I met reverand RIta at an wedding expo, and even at the wedding expo she was very polite and helpful. She told me a little about herself, and before I knew it my fiancee and I choose her as our officiant. To get to know us more Reverand Rita had us complete homework, which on our wedding day she added into our ceremony which turned out to be amazing. I happened to be a nervous groom but Reverand Rita made me feel comfortable with all of the questions that I had. I will never forget the help that she gave to us. The ceremony that she performed, my wife and I had tons of people come up to say that this was one of the best ceremonies and weddings that they have attended. Thank you once again Reverand Rita.

The best wedding ceremony we could've asked for!

Rev. Rita came to us in a nontraditional way. She met my brother on a trip to Ireland, and he had recommended we talk to her about our upcoming nuptials. We had a few phone calls and realized Rita was a good fit for us. We liked her style of giving us questionnaires so she could get to know us better, and was very responsive to any questions we had about the ceremony. She's a seasoned officiant so she can do many different ceremonies, and is very flexible to new ideas. She made our wedding so unbelievably special and unique. So many family members and friends came up to us at the end and said, "Wow! We've never been to a wedding that felt so personalized!" That's the kind of service we got from Rita. We'd recommend her wholeheartedly for anyone's wedding!

Absolutley Wonderful!

Rita was the officiant for our wedding on May 4th, 2019. I couldn't have even dreamed of having a more wonderful woman marry us. She was so helpful with every single step and was more than willing to provide guidance. She took the time to sit with me amd my husband and get to know us and tailor the ceremony to be exactly what we wanted. She is one of the kindest people I've ever met and I would 100% recomend her to any one looking for an officiant.

My Special Day

I met reverend Rita at one of the bridal shows that me and my fiance attended and I instantly felt a connection with her and decided that i wanted her to marry us. She made our special day complete simply by being great at what she does. Rita is one of the truest and kindest people that i have ever met. She did a wonderful job and everything went smooth on our wedding day. Rita officiated our wedding ceremony on 8/10/18 and it was absolutely beautiful. We received so many compliments on how personal and special it was. Rita was a pleasure to work with. To us, one of the best attributes was her willingness to work with our crazy work schedules. Her character made us both feel very comfortable prior to the ceremony and during. In preparation for our ceremony, Rita gave us an "exercise" in which we answered several questions. Not only did the answers make the ceremony even better, but helped us to fall deeper in love with each other. A great officiant, that we would recommend to any one!!!! We were very blessed to have Rita our reverend. It was so helpful to have her as part of our ceremony because she went beyond and above and put her heart into everything she has done with us. It's been a month since Reverend Rita married us and people are still talking about our ceremony! Our family and friends said they loved her delivery and how they all felt even more connected to us as a couple. They felt like they knew so much more about our relationship. All of our friends said they were laughing, then crying, then laughing again. We are so pleased with our ceremony it's everything we ever wanted and more. We wanted something different, unique, and most importantly catered to us. She nailed it! She was very prompt at returning calls, took the time to genuinely know us as a couple and made sure she had all the info she needed when writing us a unique ceremony. Rita Atlas is the person you want to officiate your ceremony if you want a very personal experience. She was absolutely wonderful, she really took the time to get to know us and it was evident in our ceremony. My guests and family really enjoyed the service and couldn't stop raving about her! In fact our friends who have an upcoming event asked if we would mind if they asked her to officiate their ceremony, of course we were thrilled. Rita was amazing. She took the time to know us better and personalized the ceremony to what we wanted. Rita was everything and more. I had met her at a Weddingsetgo bridal show. She was very informative and very nice. From the day we met her we knew we were in good hands. Rita had us answer questions about each other and she used our answers in our ceremony to create are love story. At the alter she surprised us and had created this wonderful story about us. A lot of are friends and family came up to us afterwards and said how beautiful it was. I'm so happy we found her are day would have not been the same without her. Thank you.

We decided to used reverend Rita because she understood us the first time we met. We were looking for untraditional ceremony based on our relationship and Rita made some great suggestions for enhancements to our ceremony which were beautiful. I found Reverend Rita to be kind, attentive, and supportive. She not only allayed any of my fiancee's fears but gave the most touching ceremony we could have imagined. The personal touch she gave recounting how my bride to be and I met and evolved was very heart warming. I highly recommend her.

My husband and I met with Reverend Rita Atlas at a bridal show in 2013 and from the very beginning of speaking with her, we had it locked in the back of our heads we were going to have her as our Officiant. Reverend Rita Atlas from the day we met with her was absolutely personable and we had such a connection with her that was just amazing. The ceremony she provided for us was absolutely gorgeous!!! Nothing I had ever experienced in all the years of going to any wedding. Her services included so much and the ideas she has are just simply phenomenal and so thoughtful! This was my second marriage and I can only say she made it feel like the first! I have two children from my previous marriage and she included them in my ceremony and it was truly the most beautiful experience I had ever had. Reverend Rita also made it extra special for us because she gives you a list of questions about your relationship and incorporates what she can during the ceremony from the answers given. It truly makes it much more exciting and unique from other ceremonies. The other thing she did for me that I will never forget is how comfortable she made me feel the day of. I lost my father 11 years ago and he couldn't be with me on our wedding day, but because she spoke of him during our ceremony, it felt like he was standing right beside me. Everyone that attended our wedding said that was the most beautiful ceremony they had ever attended. Reverend Rita is the sweetest person I have ever met and from the first day she made us feel like we were family! I had a hard time receiving my marriage license and she went over and beyond to help me. She made phone calls for me and just gave her all! I would definitely recommend her for any services because she truly is such an amazing person to work with! Thank you Reverend Rita for an unforgettable experience you gave us!!

My husband and I were raised on different Christian faiths, finding an officiant was the toughest part of our wedding planning; many reverends wouldn't even call us back! Rita...Rita was absolutely amazing! We had our ceremony/reception at South Gate Manor...with about 200 guests..Mostly everyone has told us that the ceremony was their favorite part. She personalized our ceremony and made it so unique and special. It truly was so beautiful. She was so helpful and even came early to help out with all the chaos! Reverend Rita was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. After my fist conversation with her she seemed like an old friend that I had known for years. She had great advice and we were able to completely customize our vows and make our ceremony the way we wanted it. We had a "specific minute" we wanted her to announce us "married" and when the time came (and she needed 2 minutes) she added in a beautiful poem to our ceremony to get to the exact time we asked for. She made our special day PERFECT.

Rita was absolutely amazing!!! When we first met with her, we explained how we didn't want to go the traditional approach and wanted our ceremony to be more spiritual and about our love of almost 15 years. She gave us a bunch of questions to answer separately and that comprised much of the ceremony. She told our love story to our guests, and included plenty of humor, which was exactly what we wanted!! All of our guests were surprised with how the ceremony was so different than other weddings they had been to, and thoroughly enjoyed the quick, personal and funny aspect to the entire thing. We didn't do the unity candle, instead we did the unity sand ceremony - Rita did a fantastic job and really made it special!! We honored our parents, included our guests in the marriage ceremony, and even had the opportunity to choose vows that really meant a lot to both of us. We would highly recommend Reverend Rita Atlas to anyone getting married who is looking for a wonderful officiant. She always responded quickly, answered any questions we had, was very personable, and her cost is very reasonable. She did an awesome job!! Rita was amazing. She met with us, was able to help us figure out exactly what we wanted to do with our ceremony, and was so flexible in helping us find a date that worked for the few people we had coming. We cannot say enough great things about Reverend Rita Atlas! We worked hard to have a personal, intimate wedding that reflected our personalities, and Rita's ceremony was the linchpin in that endeavor. Rita worked closely with my husband and me in the months leading up to our wedding to create a ceremony that would be truly unique to us. First, she met with us to discuss the generalities of the ceremony, its structure, and the rituals that we could include. She also provided us with sample vows to choose from. We had initially planned to write our own vows, but we fell in love with one that she suggested, and we are so happy that we chose to use those vows. Then, my husband and I separately responded to Rita's questionnaire, sharing with her how we fell in love and what makes us work. Rita asked us not to share our responses with one another, and we're so happy we didn't, because it was such a lovely surprise hearing what the other had to say! Rita heavily incorporated our responses our ceremony, and as a result, she was able to articulate our relationship in a way our guests could understand. The ceremony was gorgeous, and Rita made that happen. Each and every one of our guests told us how beautiful and personal our ceremony was, how they could feel the love between us, and how the ceremony set the personal tone for the rest of the night. We were overjoyed. Rita truly brings her A game to her ceremonies, and we cannot recommend her enough.

I loved working with Reverend Rita. She was always readily available whenever I had a question or needed something and I love the fact that she was very responsive and quick in getting back to me via email or phone. I came upon Reverend Rita while in a rush to find an officiant. Not only did she respond to ALL phone calls and emails right away, she was so helpful with all my questions. On our Wedding, her kinds words are what brought tears to my eyes. My sister-in-law, who does not speak much English, even came up to me after and said what a good kind person Reverend Rita obviously is. This isn't just a job to her, she actually takes interest in your life. I hope to get to have another event with her in the future, maybe when our baby boy is here!

Reverend Rita was a fabulous addition to our wedding. Her ceremony was raved about by all of our guests. It was thoughtful and well put together. It was truly personalized to us and Reverend Rita's way of telling our story and relaying the vows made our day memorable and magical.
She was also very flexible. Not only did she do a beautiful job on our ceremony but, she made a special trip to our home and performed a short ceremony when our wedding was postponed by Super Storm Sandy.

Reverend Rita was an amazing addition to our wedding day. Our wedding was originally scheduled for November 3rd, the weekend after superstorm Sandy. We were so upset that our day had to be postponed that we decided to do a small ceremony in our apartment. Reverend Rita did all she could to accommodate n even that ceremony was beautiful, short n sweet.
Fast forward to April... our guests were amazed by the gorgeous ceremony that was performed. People who didn't know us, learned a lot about us and our parents were thrilled with the amount of thought and love that was put into our wedding. Her rates are reasonable especially for all that Reverend Rita put into our beautiful day.
If we ever renew our vows, we will be giving Reverend Rita a call. Reverend Rita was the perfect officiant for our wedding and we highly recommend her.

My husband and I can't say enough about Rita! The service was amazing! It was so personal, touching, and it moved our guests to tears. I have never heard so many guests rave about what a beautiful ceremony that was performed! Rita really took the time to get to know my husband and I and read our love story to perfection! Rita allowed us to write our own vows and helped us as needed. Rita was always available and so helpful with any questions we had. Reverand Rita was absolutely great! She made our ceremony so special and talked about my husband and I as a couple and not just two people getting married. We got so many compliments after the ceremony about how it was unlike any other ceremony people have been to. Reverand Rita made us feel so comfortable and totally at ease before and during the ceremony. We definitely recommend her to anyone getting married.

Reverend Rita was wonderful to work with. She is very good at what she does. She followed up with us often to be sure we didn't forget some important tasks. She made our wedding even more special with her unique touches at the ceremony.

Rita was amazing - she helped us create a ceremony that was perfectly US! We started this whole thing not knowing at all what we wanted, and three days after our wedding, I still haven't stopped getting compliments on how perfect our ceremony was! Rita even came to our house twice to work with us on choosing the perfect readings, traditions, vows, and helped us incorporated different elements like a hand blessing and ring warming, to ensure that we were happy with our ceremony. We were looking for an officiant, and ended up with a friend! We highly recommend Rita!

Reverend Rita was wonderful! She met with us prior to our wedding to get to know us and answer our questions. She provided each of us with a questionnaire to give information about each other which we both completed separately. From that, Rev Rita prepared a very customized/personalized ceremony for us. We took our vows on the boardwalk gazebo at Spring Lake on a very windy afternoon....Rev Rita was a trooper and did not cut the service but delivered the service with a smile. All of our guests commented on how nice the ceremony was and the fact that it was so personalized for us. We truly appreciate what Rev Rita provided for us to make our day more memorable!

Rita was amazing! My guests were so impressed with her, as were we. She really got across what we were looking for in the content of the ceremony. We wanted to get through a specific message about our relationship, all that we had gone through, a bond that most will never share. She did it!! All my guests commented on the wedding being so different, especially the ceremony itself. Thanks Rita!

Reverend Rita Atlas was an absolutely wonderful officiant, and we couldn't have asked for anyone better for our wedding day. She took the time to really get to know myself and my husband and incorporated stories and anecdotes we shared with her into the ceremony to make it truly personal and special. She got back to me within 24 hours of me calling or e-mailing, was always willing to get together closer to our home for our convenience and was incredibly reasonably priced for the amount of work she puts into each and every event she does.

It was such a pleasure to meet and have Reverend Rita be apart of our wedding. I got so many compliments on how beautiful the ceremony was. She took the time to get to know us before the wedding which meant a lot to us and it made the ceremony that much nicer. Rita is so passionate and such a lovely person. The ceremony is the most important part of a wedding and she combined love, laughter, friends and family, just perfectly.

We wanted an informal and personal service in our own home, which we received beautifully from Rev Rita. In the pre-wedding meeting Rita suggested a range of ceremonies, and we chose to include a sand ceremony. This was a great hit with the guests and we were so pleased it had been suggested.
Overall is was a lovely experience, Rita was very professional and accommodating, the ceremony fit perfectly with our requests and our families were very moved with the service.

The Reverend was wonderful!! She took the time to get to know each of us in preparation for her ceremony remarks. She was very flexible and in all regards a wonderful person who takes her job very seriously.

Reverend Rita has made our Wedding Ceremony one that will be remembered by all for many many years. She had made it her mission to really get to know my husband and I prior to the wedding. Reverend Rita made mention to all the beautiful aspects our our lives together, the funny moments we shared, the reaons why we fell in love and the journey of our lives together. Our wedding guest's still mention to us that our ceremony was so unique and beautiful. Reverened Rita performed the family circle seremony with my two children, it was priceless! I had felt a connection with Reverend Rita the moment she came to our home to meet with us. She is truly AMAZING and I have called her my Angel!

Working with Rita for our wedding ceremony was a wonderful experience and we could not have asked for more. Our wedding was a small event, non-religious and organized in a relatively short period of time. Rita made us feel that we were at the center of the world, with a very personalized ceremony.

Rita was extremely responsive and proactive in talking and meeting with us about what we wanted for our ceremony. She helped with suggestions (sand or unity candle ideas), vows, etc. Her questionnaires and our chats resulted in a very personalized ceremony that was just beautiful. She brought together so many things and added all the right touches that we felt as if she knew us for our entire lives.

We could not have asked for, nor imagined, a more heartfelt and warm ceremony. It was a pleasure working with Rita and we felt very lucky and honored to have her marry us. We highly recommend Rita without reservation.

she was great. it was a perfect mix of what we wanted. she mixed the two religions with out making the ceremony religious and realy made the ceremony about us and our relationship and feeling for each other. i would recommend her to anyone.

Rev. Rita was absolutely wonderful. With all of the stress and anxiety included in planning our special day, meeting with Rita was therapeutic. She is a genuine, compassionate, and professional. She made us feel very special, offering her advice for not only our ceremony, but also for life�s journeys in general.

My husband and I both come from Catholic backgrounds, yet neither of us is "religious" per say - more spiritual. Rev. Rita provided us with an outlet to showcase and share our personal beliefs, without being tied down to the more traditional, religion-based wedding ceremony.

She met with us on several occasions prior to our wedding day: First to meet us in our home, where she interviewed us, took notes, and explained her style and services. She discussed the type of feel we wanted for our ceremony, and provided us with numerous ideas. One great idea was to perform a "unity sand ceremony" as oppose to the more-often used "unity candle ceremony� (we were married on the beach). She gave us a list of questions that my husband and I completed on our own--separately. We then emailed her the answers. She used these answers to create our ceremony. With her help, we also wrote our own vows. She again met with us the night of our wedding rehearsal. She was one of the first vendors to arrive on our wedding day, and was absolutely cool, calm and collected.

Our ceremony was nothing short of amazing. The service she put together was heartwarming and emotional, yet she still allowed for a few comedic breaks (thank goodness!). During our cocktail hour immediately following our exchanging of vows, guests continually referenced the amazing job she did, saying it was the best wedding ceremony they have ever experienced. We still have relatives and friends that reminisce over the service.

Rev. Rita was truly a pleasure to work with. Her services and spirit are unforgettable. It is with 100% confidence that my husband, family, and I highly recommend her to any couple planning their own special day.

I chose Rita to do my ceremony as a reference from another minister. I live in Oregon and was getting married in NJ so working email was a must for us. It worked out very well, Rita had us fill out personal questionnaires, and used most of it in the ceremony. I was shocked to hear a lot of what I wrote, and what my husband had to say, but wow was it powerful. Everyone loved it, and many people said they felt as if they knew my husband and I better through the ceremony. It was smooth, and flowed very well. I highly recommend Rita to any couple wanting a personal and warm ceremony.
