Pastor Paul was amazing. Since he has been doing this for so long , he pretty much knew anything about everything and was so helpful with any question we had regarding our marriage certificate, how to go about everything, even down to the perfect beach setting and when to time it right for the sunsets and tides. He gave us different options for our vows and different options for the actual ceremony. He was extremely nice and had a great sense of humor. He was also very professional, was on time, and was a perfect fit for our wedding. I highly recommenced him for any ceremony. He looked great in our pictures as well. I was so happy with the whole ceremony. You definitely can't go wrong with Reverend Paul D. Uhlar!!!! Thanks again Pastor Paul. You were great!! Sincerely Micah and Alaina Katz :)

Rev. Uhlar was fantastic! He was funny and kept the wedding guests entertained throughout our ceremony!! He gave great suggestions and was happy to let us do our ceremony our way! He did such a great job and he looks great in all the pictures!! We were very lucky to have found him!!

Rev Paul is the best - we couldn't have gotten married without him! He made us laugh and cry. He is so sweet and a joy to have met.

This guy is amazing. He's always early, very friendly and he has a sense of humor!! No boring ceremony here. Reverend Uhlar gave us a polite, perfectly executed religious ceremony. Did you know he did Paton Manning's wedding, too? There's a whole list of celebrities he married on his website.

After the ceremony, we must have had at least a dozen wedding guests come up to us and tell us how much they enjoyed the ceremony. My little cousin and my aunts even told us how unique and special our ceremony was.

Uhlar is amazing. Everyone should be married by him. We were lucky enough to stumble upon him because we were not able to decide whether we wanted a mormon bishop or a baptist pastor marrying us (afriad one family would feel bad if we used the other).

Lucky, lucky, lucky - Rev. Uhlar was the perfect officiant for us.

We heard that Pastor Uhlar was usually a very busy man and that punctuality was very important when dealing with him, especially on the day of the wedding. Unfortunately, the beauty salon made me (the bride) approximately 45 minutes late for my own wedding ceremony!!! I am so glad and very thankful that Rev. Uhlar was very kind and patient and still gave us a truly special wedding ceremony. He definitely helped create such a memorable day!

Pastor Paul was very easy to communicate with, very professional, fun and easy going. He was on time for our wedding and we couldn't be happier with anybody else to marry us! Thank you!

Pastor Paul Uhlar was a little late, but I couldn't blame him since parking on Balboa Island is a nightmare. Once he did show up, it was magical. Everyone loved the ceremony we picked out and how he read it.

Rev. Uhlar was great ! He came to our house to meet and discuss our ceremony details. He had a list of suggestions/choices he provided to us prior to our meeting so we already had a good idea of what we wanted. He personalized the ceremony to include things that were important to us.... He was AWESOME during the ceremony to take his time and make sure we were comfortable. Several of our guests commented on different aspects of our ceremony they had never seen before, but LOVED - and they were all his ideas !! Thanks Pastor Paul !!

Rev. Paul Uhlar was outstanding. He was a pleasure to work with while working on the vows together (throwing ideas together). In the end, his performance was exemplar. He was well articulated, engaging, and quite pleasant. We were privileged to have had him officiate our wedding! We highly recommend him!

I had seen two previous ceremony's that he officiated and knew I wanted him at ours. He was very easy to work with, with all of our meeting re-schedulings and ceremony requests. We got everything we asked for and them some.

So glad to see he is still around and performing weddings! He was amazing, made our ceremony so special and we love looking back at the video! Very accommodating and helpful with suggestions. We loved him!!

He was great, very accommodating. We liked that he was flexible and let us have a bit of say in the ceremony.

Rev. Paul was hilarious at my ceremony and I loved the fact my husband and I were able to have fun with it! The ceremony was short but heartfelt and since Paul knew some of my guests he stayed and mingled which was nice, the only reason I don't give a perfect 5 was that during the beginning of the ceremony Paul moved us around which was awkward I wish we could have discussed that before but he does not go to rehearsal unless you pay more. But I do highly recommend him just ask the questions during the meeting about spacing!

I can see that Rev. Uhlar has gotten a lot of 5's but my husband and I were not too happy. The Rev. was great when we first met w/him and booked him. He answered all of my questions and got back to me right away when I would email him. The day of my wedding, he told me that my MOH would need to sign the marriage license (my MOH was my daughter who was only 9) and I asked if another memeber of the wedding pary could do it...he told me no. My daughter signed in the wrong place and he yelled at her that she sigend in the wrong place and said "that is not where I told you to sign! Now you've made a big mistake and its going to cost your mommy $25 to fix it and take a long time to get a new marriage license" he then followed me around the room as I was trying to get ready for my wedding day telling me that I needed to give him $25 to fix my daughter's mistake. My father had to put a stop to it because he could see how upset Rev. Uhlar was making me. I thought he was very unprofessional.

Pastor Paul Uhlar is a nice man & he was on time. However, if he says he doesn't need to go to the rehearsal, I would definitely require him to. At the rehearsal the night before, my wedding coordinator told all the bridesmaids to go to the right side and the groomsmen to the left......then he made the bridesmaids switch to the left DURING the ceremony making the first bridesmaid feel stupid and embarrassed in front of everyone when all she did was follow the wedding coordinators instruction. I think he should have gone with the flow at that point considering he didn't want to spend 15 minutes to go to the rehearsal, so he wouldn't know what layout was discussed the night before. He also had my face facing my husbands family and my husbands face facing my side of the family, which my family would have preferred the other way around and vice verse. I felt it was a much better set up before he switched it. He also seemed annoyed during the ceremony and asked us if we had a rehearsal DURING THE CEREMONY and yes we did, but he opted not to go, which is why the set up was so confusing. Meanwhile he kind of made us feel stupid about it when really he was the only one out of the loop!!
