Ceremony looking over the NYC bridge.

I cannot recommend Rev. Jeffries enough! She was incredibly kind, supportive, and went above and beyond for us, even finding the perfect park for our ceremony. She crafted such a beautiful, heartfelt service and shared thoughtful marriage advice from her own years of experience. My husband and I still quote her words from that day. Thank you so much, Rev. Jeffries, for starting our marriage journey on such a meaningful and joyful note.

Maureen is the BEST!

We got married on 12/31/2024 and once every month for a year leading up to our wedding date we met with Maureen so she could get to know us so that way our ceremony could feel more personal and felt like a friend was marring us. Maureen was extremely professional and all of our guests raved about her! The ceremony was light hearted, romantic, and sentimental (just what we asked for). There was not a dry eye in the audience! We would recommend Maureen to anyone in a heartbeat.

Made it truly “us”

Rev. Maureen Ellen Jeffries was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the start, she was incredibly responsive and flexible; she even made time for late-night calls when we had questions or needed guidance. What really set her apart was the care she took to understand our culture and what mattered most to us and our families. She didn’t just “show up and officiate”; she listened, offered thoughtful suggestions, and helped shape a ceremony that felt personal, meaningful, and authentically us.

On the wedding day, she was calm, warm, and so professional. Her delivery was heartfelt and beautifully paced, and she created a ceremony that felt elevated without feeling scripted or generic. If you’re looking for an officiant who is kind, culturally respectful, and genuinely invested in making your ceremony special, we cannot recommend Rev. Jeffries enough.

Maureen is wonderful!!

Maureen was the perfect choice for our day. Our original officiant fell through, so we inquired with Maureen later in the process, and luckily enough she had the day available and was willing to meet and work with us in just three weeks. I appreciated that she took the time to get to know us as people, as a couple, and the families/story that lead us to this point in our relationship. We were able to meet over Zoom a couple times to talk about everything, our wants and needs and anything we didn’t want. Maureen drafted the ceremony and did a walkthrough in case we wanted to change anything (which we didn’t!) Our wedding was in November, so it was cold, so we discussed that if it was way too cold or any bad weather, we could take out specific parts to shorten it just a bit. All that being said, Maureen was well prepared and offered a lot of insight that we wouldn’t have thought of. She even made sure our bridal party & groomsmen did a walkthrough so they knew where the needed to be (which the venue didn’t!!) Maureen is easy-going, but on top of even more than I would think an officiant typically would be- she went above and beyond. I can’t say enough how perfect of a choice she was!

Rev Maureen Jeffries is such a blessing. From the first conversation I knew she was the person we needed to marry us. Simply the best!

Maureen truly goes above and beyond for her couples. She is more than just an officiant. My husband and I spent over a year meeting monthly with Maureen. In this time, she got to know us as individuals and as couple in order to personalize our wedding ceremony. Most of our sessions, Maureen offered pre-marital counseling and helped guide my partner and I through uncomfortable conversations every couple should have before they get married. In the year+ we spent with Maureen, we developed a deep connection with her. This was especially important to us because we wanted our officiant to truly know us aa individuals and a couple. BEST Officiant & Friend!!!

Maureen was amazing from the first moment we met her and every single moment after that. The second we met Maureen, we knew she was the perfect person to marry us. Most officiants meet you maybe twice and then the day of your wedding, which felt very impersonal to us. Maureen spends time with you leading up to your wedding, really spending the time to get to know you. Not only does this wholeheartedly reflect in the ceremony itself, but it makes the journey itself wonderful and you walk away with a new friend. She speaks with such compassion, kindness and love. Our entire family after the ceremony kept raving about how amazing she was too. We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about her and how much we recommend her. We cannot thank her enough!!

Truly the best!

It was so wonderful to work with Rev Maureen! She came recommended by my cousin and his wife and we couldn't have been happier with our choice to work with her. We did the monthly pre-marital meetings, which felt really meaningful for us and kept us grounded in the process. She also provided great guidance and support for how to write our vows and think about what readings we wanted at our ceremony. We really could not have done it without her! Meaningful experience

We had the best experience with Maureen, both leading up to the wedding and on the day itself. The monthly meetings that she offers leading up are really valuable experiences, and they made it to easy for us to write meaningful, concrete promises to each other in our vows, as we’d thought and spoken about a lot of this already through those meetings. On the day of, our ceremony was just amazing. We got so many compliments on Maureen personally, including from an octogenarian relative who’s been to countless weddings, and came up to us and said the ceremony was one of the best she’d ever seen. I think that speaks a lot to how talented and passionate Maureen is about what she does.

A Personalized Ceremony

Maureen worked closely with us to create a beautiful, personalized ceremony for our wedding. You don't often hear guests raving about the ceremony portion of weddings, but our guests couldn't stop complimenting us on how special and full of love ours was. Whereas a typical ceremony can feel like going through the motions, Maureen worked with me and my husband to create a moment that truly celebrated our individual love. I have a master's degree in poetry, so my standards for writing are very high, and Maureen really rose to the occasion. Our ceremony felt so intimate and true to us. I can't recommend her enough!

The Most Personal Ceremony Ever!

Working with Maureen was a true dream. From our first call I knew she needed to be the woman to marry us. She made me cry on our first call with how she goes about presenting the ceremony and how personalized she makes it all. Maureen definitely makes you and your partner explore areas of your relationship that will either have you finding out new things about one another or just ensuring that you truly found your perfect match. Maureen so soft spoken, caring, and funny. I received the most compliments on our ceremony and Maureen then any other part of the wedding. There was not a dry eye in the venue which is truly what I wanted. She made the whole experience so custom to our relationship and was a huge help on everything, even making sure my husband had the most perfect vows. Absolute blessing

Rev. Maureen Jeffries was a dream to work with and helped us tell our story. We are not a particularly religious couple and were not getting married in a church and when it came to the ceremony we were very lost on what to do. Rev. Maureen guided us in the right direction by giving us a few options and styles for the ceremony. She was very warm and helpful throughout the process. She really took the time to get to know us to create such a perfect ceremony for us! We had 2 dress mishaps , one with the bridesmaids dress and one with the wedding dress that she did not hesitate to help us fix! It was definitely not in her job description but it's worth the mention to show how she went above and beyond on our special day! Added bonus: The guests absolutely loved the way to manage the ceremony as they felt included and involved in the whole process. If any of my family / friends need someone for a wedding, I know who I would strongly recommend.

Hiring Rev. Maureen for our wedding was the best decision we made. If you have one decision to make when it comes to vendors, please take my advice hire her and don’t look back. Working with her, the many months leading up to our wedding was by far the most valuable, enjoyable and wonderful experiences in our wedding preparation.

Every single guest told us that her delivery was the best ceremony they’ve ever attended. Especially our parents and family! They loved everything she said and how she said it. Small Ceremony

I cannot recommend Maureen highly enough as a Justice of the Peace. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to make our wedding day truly special. Our initial wedding plans had to be completely reworked due to a family member falling ill with COVID, forcing us to reschedule everything, including finding new vendors. It was during this challenging time that we found Maureen, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made.
Even though we only had a couple of months to plan, Maureen took the time to really get to know us as a couple. She listened to our story, understood our vision, and used that insight to craft a heartfelt and personalized ceremony. The speech she wrote was thoughtful, touching, and perfectly captured the essence of our relationship. It felt like it was written just for us — because it was.
We always knew we wanted a small, intimate wedding by the waterfront, and Maureen knew exactly where to go. She even took the time to meet us there in advance, ensuring that everything would be just right on the big day. Her preparation and attention to detail gave us so much peace of mind.
On the day of the wedding, Maureen's calm presence made all the difference. Our family can be a bit chaotic, but she handled everything with grace and professionalism. She guided our family members, gently advising them on what to do and where to be, which made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. Warm and Beautiful Ceremony

Reverend Maureen Jeffries is a good friend of mine so when my boyfriend of 15 years proposed to me I knew immediately who I would ask to perform the ceremony. This wasn't a first marriage for the both of us and we have five adult children and two grandchildren together. Maureen personally spent time with all of our children and made it a point to have them involved in the ceremony. A kind and grounding officiant

To say that Maureen was a marvelous officiant does not do her justice. Maureen not only delivered a beautiful ceremony but she acted as our guide in navigating the complicated family dynamics that can arise during a wedding. Through monthly meetings, she helped us to prioritize the primary function of our wedding: to joyfully mark the start our married life and clarify what it really means to make vows to love and support each other. She did an excellent job of integrating elements from both of our cultures. Our families thought she was great. She is wise, warm and uproariously funny.

Our Beautiful Day

Rev. Maureen Jeffries was the absolute best officiant for our wedding in Sept. 2024. We live in Florida, with very hectic schedules, and Maureen made many accommodations to meet with us over zoom. My husband was a little hesitant and quiet at first, but he is very thankful for her as he felt comfortable waiting for me at the altar. Amazing Premarital Counseling

Maureen is the best. My fiance and I needed to do premarital counseling to use our pastor, but he did not do it himself. Over 6 zoom sessions, we talked about many challenging and intimate topics that really brought us closer as a couple and made us feel more prepared for our wedding day. The only thing that makes us sad is that Maureen isn't marrying us herself! She is truly the best. 10/10 recommend.

Can not say enough good things!

We loved working with Maureen from start to finish. She customized our wedding so that it was unique to us, and it was so personal that our guest all thought she was a family friend. She had us fill out a questionnaire both as a couple and separately, spent several months meeting with us to learn about us as a couple and made every effort to customize our ceremony to make our special day everything we could want. When the weather for our wedding was colder and windier than expected, she was able to shorten our ceremony while still keeping the essential components. You won't regret working with Maureen!

The Best Decision!

Where to begin? There are a lot of opinions on how a wedding ceremony should be done. Some prefer a traditional church ceremony, some choose their internet-ordained mutual friend or family member, or others just want a quick 10-minute ceremony from someone they hired online. My husband and I have been to about 15 weddings in 18 months, so we've seen it all. We decided we didn't want a stranger to marry us, but we also didn't want a friend without experience leading the ceremony. We didn't want a full religious ceremony, but we did want it to be spiritual. We didn't want a 45 or a 10-minute ceremony, but more like a 20-minute ceremony.

Then we found Maureen.

After one conversation with her over the phone, we knew it had to be here. Reverend Jeffries is warm, hilarious, compassionate, and wise. She helped us come together each month which served as a reminder as to why we are getting married, which was super important as the wedding planning chaos begins to take over your lives. We looked forward to our conversations with her each month, and the "homework" she gave us was a good excuse for a monthly date night.

The day of we had a friend up there with us performing the ceremony, rather than a stranger from online or an unexperienced family member. The ceremony was beautiful: personalized, intimate, spiritual, funny - everything we wanted. Afterward, we got so many compliments, and many asking how they could get in contact with her to hire her for their wedding.

Wedding ceremony of my dreams!

Working with Rev Maureen was hands down the easiest part of planning my wedding!! Rev Maureen puts her heart into her work, she truly wants to get to know her couples to create a heartfelt and personal ceremony. My husband and I had so many guests tell us how beautiful our ceremony was, they asked if we knew Rev Maureen personally, and in a way we did. We had spent meetings talking over our relationship, having conversations on perspectives, communication, and how we each felt most loved. She even looked over our vows and provided guidance in writing them! My favorite part was the “ring warming” ceremony where my mom and mother in law said a special prayer while holding our rings to bless them. Our ceremony was far beyond what my expectations were and it was the most joyful experience I had ever felt in my life!!! My husband and I learned so much about each other in our time spent with Rev Maureen, and we continue to apply the skills she gave us to our marriage. More than an officiant!

As other reviews read, Maureen is truly the best officiant—but she's also a friend! After talking to other officiants that didn't fit our non-religious needs, we spoke with Maureen and immediately knew she was the one we wanted for our special day. The frequent Zoom meetings allowed us to get to know each other on a deeper level, which made it feel like we've known her for years. She truly cares about all her couples and is passionate about her work. My husband was super nervous before the ceremony and Maureen helped calm his nerves. Our parents and guests were quick to comment on how wonderful of a ceremony it was and how Maureen was the perfect amount of funny, lighthearted and sentimental. We'll forever be grateful for choosing Rev. Jeffries to marry us!

Maureen made our day perfect

Maureen gave us not only the gift of a beautiful, meaningful, and unique ceremony, but also advice and tools to help our marriage last a lifetime. We looked forward to our premarital counseling sessions with her, where she took the time to get to know us intimately and helped facilitate important conversations about our future that gave us an extra boost of confidence going into our wedding. Both my husband and I come from religious families, and while we don't personally identify with a specific church at this time, Maureen wove in spiritual elements to our ceremony that made everyone happy. We feel so incredibly lucky to have met Maureen and we were able to have the perfect ceremony for us!

Wonderful wedding

Our wedding was January 14, 2023 and it was absolutely wonderful. A huge part of that was Rev. Maureen. We are not a religious couple but have a religious family and she combined a little of everything to create the ceremony of our dreams. Our engagement was only six months but our zoom meetings and emails helped us to feel like Maureen was a long time friend or even family member. She is super prepared and used her experience to help our wedding feel magical. 10 out of 10 we highly recommend.

The only officiant you'll ever need

My husband and I honestly were very nervous about booking someone for our ceremony. We are not very religious and wanted a beautiful ceremony but were not sure where to find someone unless it was through a church. Maureen was the FIRST and ONLY person we talked to. From our first phone call with her she made us feel so at ease with our ceremony. I believe one of the first things I said on our phone call with her was "We want a beautiful ceremony without the religion". And oh my gosh did she deliver. She told us on our call that she officiates weddings for all different religions and ceremonies that are not religious at all. So many people came to us after the ceremony and told us how beautiful it was. We were also very nervous to write our own vows. When we booked Maureen it was right after we got engaged 2 years before our wedding date. Maureen met with us almost every month for those two years, which if you're not into that is totally optional. The "homework", from an online escape room to improve communication to helping us think of date nights we have never done before, helped us to in the end write our vows. If you are considering using Maureen as you officiant the answer should always be YES. I cannot recommend her enough. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure your ceremony is flawless.

The voice of our wedding

Maureen was the voice of our wedding. From the day we began our planning journey with her she made us feel at ease and comfortable in an otherwise nerve racking process. She challenged us with questions that caused us to look inward at the heart of where our relationship started, what we wanted from our life together and what we wanted from our wedding day. She crafted a ceremony that both reflected on our past together but also centered us in the moment. She brought our guests in and made them feel welcome. She brought our story to life and we couldn’t be more grateful and thankful to have her part of our day and now, our life. Beautiful, deeply personal service -- we couldn't be happier!

We got married earlier this year in April 2023 and Rev. Maureen Jeffries officiated our wedding, which was her 601st officiated wedding! She is friendly, thoughtful & wonderful -- and Maureen's experience & dedication to her craft was visible in every interaction we had. Reverend Jeffries was the perfect choice!

We had the difficult task of tying Jewish and Catholic traditions into our ceremony. We wanted to stay as neutral as possible but also wanted our families to be happy with the outcome. Reverend Maureen Jeffries delivered. We spoke to a few officiants, but they had a process different from hers. When we booked her, she told us that we would Zoom with her once every month so that she would get to know us better. She wanted to get to know us so the ceremony would sound personal and relevant. Other officiants acknowledged that we’d just talk to them two weeks before the wedding, and that would be that. So we agreed on Reverend Jeffries, and as each month went by, she started to get to know us better. We got so comfortable with her, and that helped her ultimately put together the entire ceremony. It felt authentic. It felt like she had known us for years, which was perfect. The ceremony went as planned, and everyone loved the ceremony. She helped keep us calm during the ceremony and made us feel comfortable up there with so many eyes on us. Reverend Jeffries has a method to her madness, which works out perfectly!

Absolutely Amazing!

Maureen is literally the best. We are so happy we found her for our wedding. We went to a friends wedding and this is where we found Maureen. I said to my husband we have to hire her! The way she spoke about the bride and groom was like she knew them forever! Little did we know Maureen then knew everything about us as well. Each session that we had with her made us extremely comfortable leading up to the wedding day. All our family and friends said that we had the best ceremony that they've been too and it started from Maureen greeting our guest as soon as they arrived to introducing us as Mr and Mrs. The ceremony was everything we could have wanted it to be. Maureen was an absolute dream to work with. In the weeks leading up to our wedding Maureen made us feel like a priority and spend so much time with me and my wife. Best Officiant EVER

From our first conversation with Reverend Jeffries we knew she was the one we wanted to marry us. She has such a warm and calming presence and brings a type of energy that makes you feel like you’ve known her for years. As we started to meet with her more regularly she opened mine and Adams eyes to a new level of connection, communication and love. She challenged us, and made us realize that there is so much more to partnership than we realize. The day of the ceremony I was so nervous and anytime she glanced at me or was able to touch my hand I was calm and centered again. The ceremony was beautiful from start to finish. EVERYONE commented on how beautiful the ceremony was. In person she felt like your cool aunt on your wedding day. Adam and I are so so thankful for her insight, kindness and the ability to make us dig deeper into our relationship. The Best Officiant

My husband and I are so lucky to have found and worked with Maureen. From the moment we had our first phone call with her to our wedding day, she was supportive and totally present for us in the process. It was so nice to be able to meet with her multiple times in the planning process so she could get to know us in order to really personalize our ceremony. These meetings also served as a great time for my husband and I to communicate and talk about new things, share our different perspectives and be involved in the ceremony process. My husband and I have discussed some of our favorite vendors and without a doubt, Maureen was our FAVORITE vendor to work with. From the moment we booked Reverend Maureen, she was involved in the wedding process start to finish and provided support and guidance. We are so thankful that Rev Maureen Jeffries was a part of our wedding day. Maureen's counseling sessions helped us to both take time during wedding planning to focus on what marriage means to us. By the day of our wedding, Maureen felt like an old friend. Not only did she crafted a beautiful ceremony for us, she also took the only photographs we had of our day as we waited for our professional photos, stepped in for me when the vendor coordinator who asked where my dad was (he has passed away), brought a sponge to clean makeup off the grooms shirt, and helped to pin my bustle. She is truly gifted as a wedding officiant and simply the best person to have on your team as you plan a wedding. We would recommend Maureen 1000 times over.

If I could give a hundred stars, I’d do so without hesitation for Reverend Maureen Jeffries. Besides my choice of mate, hiring her was the best decision I could have made. From the first meeting, she was warm and friendly and we immediately felt like we were just chatting about our wedding, including some quirky additions, with a close friend. As an interracial and inter- faith couple, it was important to us to have someone help us with adding a few nontraditional elements to our ceremony. Not only did she understand what we were trying to achieve, she fully embraced it and us and helped us to come up with an unforgettable ceremony that felt exactly like “us.” We could not have asked for more. Amazing experience with Maureen!

Maureen was an absolute gem to work with. We hired her for our October 2022 wedding and she did not disappoint. The most moving ceremony ever attended!

Choosing the right officiant was hugely important to my fiancé and I. We wanted to find someone who could blend the Christian values we grew up with and personalized elements that would feel true to our relationship. We also believe the marriage ceremony is the most meaningful part of the day and did not want anything rushed or cookie-cutter. Rev. Jeffries was the 3rd officiant we interviewed and we knew instantly that she was our choice. As part of her package, we met with Maureen via Zoom once a month leading up to our wedding so that she could get to know us as a couple. This led to us developing a wonderful friendship with Maureen before the ceremony, but it also allowed my fiancé and I to work through some important conversations about our values and our views on marriage. Maureen took the time to tailor a ceremony that was so heartfelt and personal, almost as if she had known us from the start. Our friends and families are still commenting about how it was the most moving ceremony they'd ever attended! On the day of the wedding, Rev. Jeffries went above and beyond, providing us with an emergency kit and talking me- a very anxious bride- and my nervous flower girl through a calming pre-ceremony meditation. We will genuinely miss spending time with Maureen and would recommend her to any couple planning their special day!

Had an amazing experience with Rev. Maureen Jeffries

We are so happy to have worked with Reverend Maureen as our officiant! In the months leading up to our wedding, we met with her several times to discuss marriage and various topics to help us prepare. She really took the time to get to know us and help us navigate different aspects of our relationship and wedding preparation. She wrote a beautiful, custom ceremony that was very personal to us. Amazing officiant!

Rev. Jeffries is one of the most amazing people Dan and I have ever met. She is INCREDIBLE. There are just no words to describe the impact she had on our ceremony and even our whole wedding journey. From the beginning, we would meet with her monthly which was so fun. She had us do these fun exercises which bonded my husband and I together and helped ease the stress of wedding planning. She wasn't just for the day - she was with us for the whole process, as a comforting shoulder, as a counselor and as a guide. She helped us craft our vows and helped create from start to finish the most beautiful mixed faith ceremony. She even incorporated Sri Lankan aspects (a string tying ceremony) which made my mom feel like she was back in Sri Lanka, having a Buddhist ceremony. Rev. Jeffries words will forever be special to us, and our families. There was no shortage of tears in the crowd and between Dan and I. Thank you so much for creating such a beautiful ceremony for us.

Truly Went Above and Beyond!

We had the most amazing ceremony thanks to Reverend Maureen. It was the perfect start to a marriage hopefully centered on family, devotion, and most of all, love. From the pre-counseling sessions where she counseled us on tips to a happy, healthy marriage and family life, down to every detail of the ceremony — unity candles, cord of three strands, our mothers helping to bless the rings, helping us with writing vows that are unique to us and our experience, suggesting that we hire a babysitter for our toddler (which was something I hadn’t thought of AT ALL and was a wedding-saver!), even reminding us that we should get pictures at the stunning spots at our venue, Reverend Maureen truly went above and beyond to help us succeed not only in planning a wedding, but planning our married life.

Amazing! The best ceremony

There are no words to express our gratitude and appreciation for Rev. Jeffries. She was truly incredible from our first meeting months before the wedding to the day-of. The ceremony was spectacular and every single guest raved about her. She handled family drama, active thunderstorms, and any other issues with such grace and calmness. Rev. Jeffries was able to seamlessly weave different religions and cultures in to create the most beautiful and moving ceremony. Truly cannot recommend enough and it's hard to find the words to express how much we love her!

Wonderful Experience!!

Not only did I love Reverend Jeffries but all of my guests who attended gave her such great praise! Right from the beginning she made me feel at ease. She is warm, personable and down-to-earth. She was flexible when working with my schedule since my wedding was or had to be planned within a short period of time. She answered all my questions promptly and made herself available for any concerns I had. She made my ceremony perfect with her delivery, her ideas about how to incorporate loved ones who could not be there and made the whole process of everyone getting to know each other fun. Beyond Amazing!

Maureen is so amazing! I honestly can’t say enough good things about her. From our first conversation with her we knew she was going to marry us! Maureen really took the time to get to know us and made our ceremony so personal and special. We had monthly Zoom meetings where not only did she help us with our ceremony, but was there for support with anything else that was going on. On the day of our wedding she eased my nerves and went above and beyond. The ceremony she wrote for us was beautiful and made us and our families tear up. Our family couldn’t stop raving about how much they loved her and how personal and beautiful the ceremony was. Book her you won’t regret it! Maureen made our ceremony so special and personal, more than either of us could have imagined!

We couldn't have had a better officiant for our wedding. Maureen was truly amazing through the whole process and we feel so lucky to have found her. I wasn't sure what to expect when looking for an officiant, but I really didn't expect much from someone who didn't know us. I spoke with a couple other options but from the moment I first spoke with Maureen I knew she was the one. I even got a little emotional on that first call when she was talking about the ceremony. She makes it a point to get to know you and vice versa so we really feel like friends come the wedding day. We really enjoyed having zoom calls with her and the homework she gave us like doing an online escape room. We were both so excited to finally meet her on our big day. She wrote a beautiful script for our ceremony that was tailored to us. It was a really special day and we owe a lot to her. Thank you Maureen!

We were lucky enough to have Reverend Maureen marry us a few weeks ago in a personal, beautiful and thoughtful ceremony she crafted after spending a few months getting to know us over Zoom. The best officiant out there!!

Maureen is just amazing!! My husband and I were looking for an interfaith minister to officiate our wedding since we came from two different faith backgrounds, and once we met Maureen we knew she was a perfect fit. She invested so much time in getting to know us as both a couple and as individuals––by the time it was actually our wedding day, we felt as though Maureen was an old friend! Her ceremony was absolutely beautiful: she did the perfect job of weaving the story of our relationship and love into the ceremony script while also incorporating other traditional elements. The ceremony was heartfelt, emotional, uplifting, and both laughter- and tear-inducing! Absolutly Amazing!!

I don't think we could have asked for a better person to take care of us on our wedding day! She was so on hand and available for any questions we had and helped with whatever we needed. We struggled to write our vows up until the day before the wedding and she came through and helped us write the most beautiful vows I could have asked for. When we went over the final detaled and a run through of the ceremony it brought me to tears with how beautifully written it was and how perfectly it fit us as a couple. If I could do it all again with her I would! She is perfect!

Ceremony was the HIGHLIGHT of our wedding!

Rev. Jefferies, absolutely crushed it from day one! My husband and I really didn't know what to expect or where to begin with this process. My dad actually was the one to recommend her from seeing her perform at a previous wedding and boy has he never been more right! She is truly incredible at what she does and makes the overall experience fun vs. stressful. She dedicates the time to get to know her couples and customizes the experience for you to have the most amazing outcome.

We started off getting to know one another, filling out some forms and then Rev. Jefferies had us play this escape the room game that really challenged our communication with one another. She came up with a beautiful idea for us to write a poem of what our love meant to one another that our friends actually ended up reading aloud at our ceremony. She also had us write letters to one another that we will seal and read on our anniversary to start a new tradition as husband and wife. Both were seriously the most perfect touches to making our ceremony unique and really meant the world to us. We also read our vows aloud to each other and Rev. Jefferies really helped guide us and made us feel comfortable and confident doing so. You can really see how passionate she is for this profession and how dedicated she is to her couples. Not only is she super helpful, she is personable, relatable and funny as all hell. When I say our ceremony was the highlight of our wedding I mean it. Literally everyone was raving about it and loved her so much. I wish I could reply the ceremony over and over again so get yourself a good videographer!! Rev. Jefferies has become family and we seriously cannot thank her enough. I could not recommend her more. Book her ASAP, you will not be disappointed. I promise!

The Best!!

Reverend Maureen is the best! We had a Jewish and Catholic ceremony and she did an amazing job incorporating both religious aspects, without overdoing either side. If you are a bride and groom with a mixed faith wedding, Rev Maureen should be your pick! We had multiple conversations prior to the wedding where she got to know us personally, which made the ceremony that much more special. I could go on and on about how great she was and what a positive experience this was overall!

Maureen is the best!

Maureen was simply amazing from start to end and we are so happy to have had her as our officiant. She was very communicative with us and helped us plan our ceremony even though we were in different countries. We had several meetings together, where she would walk us through the entirety of our ceremony, detail by detail, to make sure it was to our liking. She even included small details, like having us write notes to each other for our 1st anniversary, which made it so much more special. On the day of the wedding, she took charge of the room and handled the wedding like a pro. She is very knowledgeable of the process and has been very helpful even after the wedding. I can't say enough kind words about Rev. Jeffries. After having someone back out last minute, we booked her 4 days before our wedding. She was more than willing to travel and help us out. Reverend Jeffries is the BEST!

We were lucky enough to have Reverend Jeffries officiate our wedding September 2021. She was AMAZING! She checked in with us multiple times before the big day and during these conversations, she took the time to get to know us which helped her create a very personalized ceremony. She also has amazing advice, insight and encouragement for engaged couples and helped to make sure we started off our marriage on the right foot. Our ceremony was incredible and felt so special thanks to Reverend Jeffries. Countless guests made sure to let us know it was by far the best ceremony they have ever attended and were blown away with how heartfelt and unique it was. She took the time to find out our relationship and what was important to us and then used that information to speak about our love story and we could not have been happier. Reverend Jeffries is also the absolute sweetest – she helped to keep us calm in the days leading up to the ceremony and on the day of. She also took time to fashion a wristlet for my grandma when her corsage fell off – we felt like she was on our team every step of the way and cannot recommend her enough. Hands down- THE BEST

Maureen is a vendor we wished to have for our original date but she was booked, so the postponement of our wedding celebration really worked in our favor to have Maureen be there to officiate! We wanted something not so scripted and rather a ceremony that spoke to our relationship and our journey to get to that exact moment of our ceremony. Maureen did EXACTLY that; except she exceeded our expectations! My husband & I teared up over the Zoom call of our run through prior to the wedding, and were just as emotional during the ceremony. We incorporated a butterfly release for our loved ones who passed, as well as a wine box ceremony with notes for my husband and I to read on our anniversary every year. Maureen made everything flow so naturally, had all the guests in tears, and it truly felt like we’ve known her for a lifetime the way she could speak to us as a couple! Our families are still talking about how beautiful the ceremony was and how bubbly Maureen was with them. I am forever thankful that we met Maureen and had her officiate our day. She is someone we will no doubt stay in touch with & confident we can lean on if ever needed!

Amazing!!!!

Our wedding day would not have been the same without Reverend Maureen Jeffries! From the moment we first reached out, we could tell that she genuinely cares about the couples she works with, making it an easy decision to hire her.

The entire process leading up the wedding was so smooth. We had multiple zoom meetings where she took the time to really understand us, who we are individually and collectively and weaving that theme into our ceremony effortlessly. We felt a bond with her as if we had known her for a lifetime, so it was easy to open up!

On the day of the wedding she arrived early to meet our family and bridal party, take photos and ensure that we had our marriage license! Our ceremony was the perfect length, kept everyone engaged and was so special/unique to us. We received so many compliments from our guests on how much they loved it! Best ever!

Rev. Maureen is amazing! She was so personable right from the start. I found her online, and sent an inquiry- she called me right away. We had a chat on the phone and I knew I wanted to meet her. My fiance at the time and I met with her multiple times via FaceTime. She gave us marriage exercises and really helped us feel the importance and significance of vows and what we were about to do! We talked about specifics that we wanted to include in the vows and she helped us create such a meaningful ceremony. Reverand Jeffries truly made our ceremony special. She took the time to get to us and made it so personable and detailed. Many of our guests asked who she was because it was such a touching ceremony and truly loved her performance. She also has the best tone in her voice and can set the mood with every emotion she wants to capture.

I would 1000% recommend her to anyone! Our ceremony was the best and we can't thank her enough for personalizing and including everything we wanted to do. She is must BOOK, don't sleep it on it!

Our guests raved about her!!

10/10 Reverend Jeffries is wonderful, she truly cares about you as a couple and getting to know you and helping to counsel you on your relationship both now and in the future. We wanted a quick non denominational ceremony but didn’t really know much else or what it would entail and Rev. Jeffries helped bring it to life. She incorporated what she learned about us a a couple to create a beautiful, short but meaningful ceremony. Afterwards, so many people came up, asking who she was, and saying how wonderful of an officiant she was because she had such personality and really captured their attention. She’s also really good at thinking of things that no one else does but should! She called me the day before the wedding just to check in and say hi and see how we were feeling and I think that, is really sweet and special.

The BEST there is!

From day one Maureen had a way of making us feel comfortable and in good hands! She took the time to get to know us, and it was a pleasure getting to know her. She walked us through each step of getting married without skipping a beat. When it came to the day of she went above and beyond anything we could have expected. From having emergency supplies on hand like deodorant, to pinning my fathers boutonnière back on - she did it all! Without her we would have been totally lost and we are so blessed to now have her in our lives and to have been a part of our most special day.

We are so thankful to you for giving us a special wedding

I cant begin to explain how lucky me and my husband felt having Reverend Maureen perform our ceremony. She was wonderful, cooperative, engaging, contributing since the first time we connected. She not only made us think about our promises for each other but also incorporated each and every valuable thought, moment and idea important to us in our ceremony. We had a very small 12 people wedding in a park but Reverend Maureen treated us just as important and special as she would for a bigger wedding. She's just amazing!

I can't say enough good things about Maureen. From the first time, my wife and I had the chance to meet her to now she has been phenomenal. When we made the decision to have a micro wedding in light of the pandemic she was there to help guide us. She is active in the planning process for the wedding and she has such a knack for remembering small details about us as a couple that really makes you feel like she is more than just an officiant. The ceremony she wrote for us was thoughtful and crafted to fit our lives and our relationship. She has earned every five-star review she has gotten and we were truly blessed to have her as a part of our wedding team.

The Reverend Maureen Jeffries offers the most wonderful services, even beyond weddings! I have been lucky enough to attend her Meditations For Moms. She is the real-deal: spiritual, honest, practical, and inspirational. Highly recommended for weddings, funerals, spiritual counseling, and meditations.

Beautiful !

This officiant to us was like the light at the end of the tunnel. She agreed to marry us and even helped me plan our small ceremony amidst the pandemic. I am beyond great full for Reverend Jeffries. She even included my mother in our American/Spanish ceremony. Forever great full.

Perfect Backyard Intimate Wedding

Rev. Maureen exceeding our expectations. We blended our families during this insane covid-world in early September. Our ceremony was very reflective of us as individuals coming together and Rev. Maureen suggested how to incorporate our kids. We were 20 people is total and multiple people commented on how beautiful the ceremony was.

Trule Unbelievable !!

Due to COVID, we needed to postpone our wedding, in which we decided to have a small initmate wedding ceremony with only our closest family and friends at our parents backyard.

She helped walk us through everything we needed to do and was great at communicating with us so we didn't miss a thing.

She was so understanding and patient, professional, and completely attentive to all our needs thru out and took the time to learn about us and our relationship and incorporated that into our ceremony.

She is definitely personable, charismatic and kind, throughout the entire process.
We really couldn't recommend Maureen enough!

Our Epic Mini-ceremony

I really appreciated the way she walked us through her process over the phone and the way she guided us through the ceremony during our zoom calls. On the day of our wedding she was the hero who saved my husband‘s wedding ring from falling into the Hudson river. She told us that if anything happens she could deal with it, but I never really believed her until the day of and she came through with flying colors, we were extremely happy to have her marry us and everyone enjoyed the ceremony as much as they enjoyed the bloopers.

Lovely, Thoughtful, and Super Professional Officiant!!

MAUREEN IS THE BEST! She's extremely professional, showing great attention to detail in guiding us through all the complicated paperwork of a marriage, while also being warm and extremely thoughtful in crafting a wedding ceremony. My husband and I interviewed several officiants when we were choosing who to hire for our special day, and Maureen was far and away the best, we clicked instantly. She has such a talent for finding the core of a couple's relationship and letting that shine through her writing. She was also extremely helpful and understanding when COVID-19 caused our wedding to be delayed - she was able to help us file our paperwork and hold a small zoom ceremony so we could still be technically married on our original date. This year brought many challenges and I was so grateful that Maureen made this one much smoother and more manageable.

Amazing person

Reverend Maureen was part of an amazing group of ladies who gave my Husband and I the elopement of our dreams. She helped us plan an intimate ceremony after We had to cancel our wedding due to the health crisis. Rev. Maureen was such a bright light during these dark days!
Our first call was a video call where we got to introduced each other and talked about what my now husband and i wanted for our wedding. We knew after the first call that she was the perfect person to officiate our wedding. she made everything so intimate and memorable for us. Even though we only had about 15 guests at our wedding, Rev. Maureen made sure to make everyone feel loved and honored to be there. Everyone who attended Our wedding had nothing but good things to say about her.
