Great officiant!!!

Reverend Marrero could have not made our ceremony any more amazing for us. He spoke beautifully, he knew where to be sincere, where to be nostalgic and even where to add some humor. We received endless compliments and the guitar and the end was the icing on the cake truly took us to another level...so romantic highly recommend Reverend Marrero he is the best!!

Rev. Marrero was exactly what we were hoping for. We had a limited time frame but 6 days after our first phone call, we were married. Rev. Marrero was flexible, organized, and professional yet very warm and personable.
He was always easy to reach and eager to accommodate our needs.
We didn't have a photographer, so he took photos for us himself after the ceremony.
Everything went perfectly smooth without us even needing to rehearse.
Reverend Marrero was a blessing,

We made a spontaneous trip from Buffalo to Florida to get married. Planned the whole trip in less than one week. We wanted an intimate, casual, wedding and we got everything we wanted. Rev. Marrero was pleasant, understanding to our needs and desires. We could not have asked for a better Officiant!

The best part at the end was a little surprise that was in store for us. He pulled out a guitar and started singing! It was wonderful and it's a day we will never forget. I am glad that his family was a part of it as well.

We had the pleasure of having Reverend Marrero officiate our wedding this past November at the St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort and Spa in Puerto Rico! He did the most amazing job, the perfect ceremony for my husband and I, truly a sweet man and we are very grateful to him!

My husband and I got married at the Wyndham Rio Mar in Puerto Rico and we had the pleasure of having Reverend Marrero as our officiant. We also opted to use his additional legal services which made the process of getting our marriage license very easy and stress-free. Reverend Marrero was kind enough to pick us up at our hotel and take us to each of the offices we needed to visit for our paperwork. He even took us to a great local spot to get lunch where we were able to tell him more about our relationship and the type of ceremony we would like to have. The entire process was incredibly quick. Without Reverend Marrero's help we probably would have been driving around the island all day. Be sure to have all your proper documents in order when your arrive. Our ceremony was postponed due to some rain and Reverend Marrero was extremely patient. He made us feel very comfortable throughout the ceremony. He was fun and comical, yet professional, and he definitely knows how to work a crowd. We had the pleasure of having Reverend Marrero join us for dinner and our family and friends enjoyed his company. We are extremely grateful and blessed to have had Reverend Marrero marry us!

Rev. Marrero spoke with us by phone in advance of the scheduled ceremony. He assured us that once we arrived in Puerto Rico he would take care of our transportation to the beach ceremony site, select an alternate location in case of rain and assist with our photography dilemna. I am pleased to announce that Rev. Marrero is indeed a man of his word. We had an amazing ceremony complete with a serenade by the Reverand himself and many wonderful pictures!

Reverend Marrero truly is a professional officiant but mostly his kindness and beautiful heart and soul that he added to our ceremony made us feel like we have known him for years!

Reverend Marrero is the sweetest man ever! He is also is very meticulous while filling out forms and arrived plenty early. My husband and I 'eloped' to Puerto Rico without any guests so our wedding was very simple. The ceremony and vows were perfect for us without any rehearsal. He was an absolute pleasure to work with.

Let me start by saying, finding an Officiant online is scary. Rev. Marrero couldn’t have been more of a blessing. He contacted us many times throughout our preparation and was always kind and full of information. He not only performed the ceremony of my dreams, but he also helped make the paperwork a breeze. Easiest way to describe my experience is “All Inclusive”!
I am eternally grateful for him. My now husband and I were wed in the El Yunque rainforest with a small group of family. The ceremony was tailored to us and felt like it was being conducted by someone who had known us a lifetime. Not only was the setting amazing, but the words were as well. Words truly cannot describe how happy I am with the entire experience!

It’s been a tad over a month since our ceremony and I still tear up thinking about the perfection. He was able to take our small intimate wedding and turn it into a memory to last a lifetime. Family still comments on how perfect it was.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to have someone on your side while planning a destination wedding in Puerto Rico. Reverend Marrero is definitely #1 in my book!!

Reverend Marrero was nothing short of a dream to work with. He brightened up our day upon first meeting, and worked ever so thoroughly and expeditiously in gathering all the documents needed to ensure my wife and I were all set with the proper legal documents to make our marriage official. During the process, he even managed to go out of his way to help me get my iPhone repaired after I shattered it earlier in the day!

He took the time to get to know us, and despite his busy schedule, he made it seem like we were the only couple in the world. Without any sort of coaching for our vows, Rev. Marrero wowed us with his beautiful words and ceremony. As my wife and I wrote our own vows, it was such a blessing and magical experience to hear how in sync he was with our relationship. All our guests thought is was scripted!

A few days after the wedding, he again took the time out of his incredibly packed schedule to deliver us an original copy of our ceremony and serenaded us with beautiful music. We couldn't feel more special. If we would've known of how good a musician he was, I probably would've had him sing during the ceremony (Note to those reading this!).

Just about a week after the wedding, we received a copy of our marriage license in the mail and we couldn't help but reminisce of what a blessing he was through our wedding weekend.

There's no guy out there who could stack up to Rev Marrero - truly a gift from God!

Reverend Marrero truly made our day beyond magical and complete! We researched where to have our destination wedding and most importantly who our officiant was going to be. Reverend Marrero was referred to us very highly and we were not disappointed. Not only did he perform a beautiful and customized magical ceremony, he took care of all our paperwork that was needed in regards to marriage certifcation, etc...... He even came to my husbands aid in regards to his wedding attire when we left some accesories in New York. He was there for us for every step of the way.... In fact, he did such a great job we plan to renew our vows again with him for our 5 year anniversary! Trust us, you will not be disappointed!!

We had the pleasure of having Reverend Marrero officiate our wedding ceremony in Puerto Rico this past weekend, and we could not be any happier with his professionalism and service. Our ceremony was very beautiful. I asked my 11-year-old son what he enjoyed most of our wedding and he said the ceremony. Reverend Marrero even had a copy of our entire ceremony for us to keep. This is part #2 of our review for the recent Bradley destination wedding held at Juan Diego Falls. As soon as I contacted the Reverend he immediately made sure that I was taking all of the proper steps back home in the states to ensure that our marriage would be legal.There were a few hiccups back home with gathering some of the documents, but Reverend Marerro took that burden off of my shoulders and arranged for my then fiance and I to meet with a lawyer in Puerto Rico to complete all of the affidavits as soon as I reached out to him. When we finally met the Reverend for the first time in person he literally greeted us with open arms and a huge smile! He made us feel calm and really showed his expertise from the very beginning. He took care of all of the legal work, even going to the demographic office with us, and then took time to talk to us about what we wanted our ceremony to be; this is where his attention to detail made our day PERFECT! Reverend Marerro went out of his way to make sure that Jared didn't see me getting ready the morning of the wedding by driving an hr from and to the rainforest for the ceremony to pick him up, and was even flexible enough to allow us to move the ceremony 30 minutes earlier than planned at 11pm the night before the wedding! We had never been to Juan Deigo falls before and I actually got lost! He came and found me and made sure I got to the ceremony site; he really saved the day! Best of all, our ceremony was stunning!The scripture he read,the vows the wrote that were unique to Jared and me, and the ceremony site was simply AMAZING!!! He hooked us up with an awesome videographer and was even able to control the tourist so that they did not intrude on our ceremony or the pictures afterwards. To top it all off, he even spent an extra 2 hours with us after the ceremony to show us all of the most beautiful parts of the forest for our wedding photos. He's the best you can get and I would gladly recommend him to anyone!

Rev. Marrero is the kindest, warmhearted and loving person. He officiated my wedding on the beautiful beach and made my husband and I feel like a king and queen. MY NEW HUSBAND AND I HAD OUR DESTINATION WEDDING ON THURSDAY, JUNE 26TH 2014 AT JUAN DIEGO FALLS IN EL YUNQUE RAINFOREST. WE WERE INCREDIBLY FORTUNATE TO FIND REVEREND ISAAC MARERRO ON WEDDINGWIRE.COM AS WE CANNOT RECOMMEND HIM ENOUGH!!!! We guarentee that you will get nothing but impeccable, five-star service, along with an unimaginably beautiful ceremony if you are lucky enough to hire Reverend Marrero. From the second I asked Isaac to be our officiant he literally made Jared and I feel as if we were his #1 priority (continue to read for detailed examples of how Reverend Marerro went above and beyond to make our wedding day as stress free as possible). To claim that he set the bar as a wedding officiant is a complete understatement to say the very least, as well as an insult to his dedication to his work; you cannot and will not find a better wedding officiant. Words cannot explain how spectacular Rev.Marrero is. I was the Wedding Planner for a last minute wedding on june 21st and i needed an officiant for the ceremony and found Reverend Marrero here on Wedding Wire and was very impressed with his immaculate reviews. He reflects peace and by just hearing him you can tell he is a man of God! He gave an exquisite and lovely ceremony to my clients, very professional, punctual, reliable and simply whimsically wonderful. My husband, Raymond and I cannot say enough great things about Reverend Marrero! He was a blessing from God and we knew when we met him that he was the perfect officiant for our special day. He was so very helpful and answered the many questions we had promptly and professionally. Rev. Marrero saved us. We were to be married on May 27 and the officiant had to cancel at the last minute due to an emergency. On May 28 we were going crazy looking for an officiant and found Rev. Marrero online. We were married within 4hrs after we contacted him. We had a beautiful simple, romantic beach ceremony. The vows were perfect. Rev. Marrero played the guitar for us and he brought his daughter who is a very talented photographer to take our pictures. What a blessing to have found him. He is caring, prompt, and a great human bring. Blessings to him and his family.

Rev. Marrero ROCKS! He was most helpful with our destination wedding on May 17th! He took the time to help us with all the details of the legal paperwork and made this process flawless! Reverend Marrero was an invaluable resource is getting married in PR, I can not recommend him enough. He took all the stress out of getting married in PR and took care of every last detail for us. He was always energetic and made the whole process enjoyable for everyone. He truly does have all the connections in PR and helped us get flowers and a restaurant for reception after. As our 6 year Wedding Anniversary is just around the corner. I want to take a moment to Thank the people that made it possible on that crazy, wonderful, hectic day. Without Reverend Marrero it just would have not been possible. He made the ceremony extra special vows that enraptured all that we were felling and could not have been more on target, then if we would have written them ourselves. As I look back, to the moment of when we stood Beach Front and declared our love, before family, friends, God and Strangers (it was a beautiful day, the beach was packed) I could not envision anyone else officiating our union. I can remember any dry eyes during the ceremony~ Extremely professional, On time, Not to Long, Funny and All around Great, are some of the details I remember. Thank You Reverend Marrero.

As a Manager of a Resort in Puerto Rico where I have personally experienced first hand many of Reverend Marrero's wedding ceremonies, I can glady refer his services to any bride/groom looking for a truly unique wedding ceremony. Reverend Marrero is always very professional, on time, courteous, warm and has a natural ability to make the couples feel at ease. He always demonstrates to everyone he encounters that everything is under control. I have seen many wedding ceremonies where everyone is teary eyed due to the beautiful vows spoken which he often writes himself for the couples. He is truly a Blessing to everyone who has the privilege of meeting him. He is a multitalented Man of God who does everything in excellence. My husband and I want to thank Reverend Marrero for his presence at our special day it was such a confirmation for us accepting our invitation to deliver our ceremony. Reverend Marrero traveled with his beautiful wife to our destination (Central Florida) his quality serving us was excellent. Attended to our rehearsal and gave us ideas for our ceremony the next day. The day of the wedding he was there early and played the piano while everybody was directed to be seated; I felt very relaxed due to such a hectic morning; getting ready as a bride.

I loved the vows my husband and I shared it was written by him, it was the highlight of the ceremony he did such a great job putting it together as a decree and promise to our God and ourselves. I'm so blessed he was able to be part of our memorable day! Thank you for professionalism and going the extra mile for our wedding!

We got married at the Wyndam Rio Mar in Puerto Rico and Reverend Marrero was amazing. We didn't have vows written, but the ones he had for us were spot on. We couldn't have written them better ourselves. He walked us through all paper work, even though we ran into some kinks, he handled everything. He went above and beyond to accommodate us. I highly recommend him for any type of ceremony you might have.

Reverend Marrero was fantastic. We had out destination wedding in rio grande last year and Reverend Marrero walked us through every step, he even picked us up from our hotel and took us to each office we needed to obtain paperwork from. We could not have asked for a better wedding officiant than Rev. Ike: His professionalism combined with genuine warmth and interest in making our special day as perfect as possible made our Puerto Rican wedding more amazing than we dreamed. Rev Ike helped us with every last detail and made required trips to govt offices fun by stopping at local fruit stands for smoothies and gave recommendations on authentic foods, music and even offered to show us personally. We now consider him a family friend!

Reverend Marerro was referred to us by our wedding planner when we were married at the Rio Mar Resort in PR. He contacted us prior to our arrival in PR and walked us through all of the steps for obtaining the correct information/documents needed to file for our marriage license when we actually got to PR. When we arrived in PR, he met us at the airport and personally accompanied us to all of the buildings and helped us through the process of submitting all of our documents. There is NO way we could have done this without him given the language barrier and when trying to navigate around an unknown city! One our wedding day, he provided a beautifully written ceremony and even gave us a written copy of our vows to keep! The ceremony itself was a wonderful mix of romance and humor! He was such a great part of our wedding day! I would highly recommend him to anyone getting married in PR!

Reverend Marrero made our wedding a special day. He was extremely helpful with our ceremony plans, professional and congenial. He did a great job of communicating with us before the ceremony about specific details, and was flexible when our wedding got moved up 30 minutes due to weather concerns. I strongly recommend Reverend Marrero to anyone who is planning a destination wedding in Puerto Rico.

Reverend Marrero officiated our wedding in the El Yunque Rainforest, PR- Juan Diego waterfall through our awesome wedding planner, Tropical Weddings. Our wedding was just the two of us, and he made our vows along with his message, totally special and unforgettable. We felt truly blessed!

I was put in contact with Rev. Marrero through our wedding planner at the Rio Mar Resort.
I spoke with him for the first time about a month before our wedding - and I immediately felt comfortable with him officiating our wedding. I had so many questions about the process of obtaining our marriage license in Puerto Rico. Reverend Marrero was so helpful, he made sure I had all of the documents that we would need and even picked us up from our hotel and took us to file for our license! (A huge help since neither my husband or myself speak Spanish, or know our way around Puerto Rico) I don't know how we would have done it without his help.
It was also nice to spend that time with him before our wedding, he made my husband and myself both very comfortable with everything.
Reverend Marrero made the whole process so easy for us and also performed a beautiful ceremony. I highly recommend his services!

If you’re getting married in Puerto Rico and are looking for a warm and sincer pastor to officiate the wedding, look no further than Reverend Marrero! This man is truly a man of god. From our first phone conversation I felt an immediate connection and new that we had found the right man to marry us. We had decided not to rent a car while on the island so when the faithful day finally arrived, Reverend Marrero picked us up promptly and drove us to a beautiful and secluded part of the island for the ceremony. The location was perfect; the weather was perfect but most perfect were the beautiful vows the Reverend wrote for us. It was almost like he personally knew us and had witnessed the growth of me and my husband’s relationship. He also brought along his lovely daughter, Jessica, who took hundreds of beautiful photographs to capture our day. They were both so professional and personal at the same time and both went out of their way to make our big day personal, intimate and memorable. We had such a good time with them we even joined them for church service the next day which was another amazing experience. I could go on and on but there’s no way I can thank Reverend Marrero enough for giving us the best ceremony we could imagine!

Tropical Weddings forwarded me the information of Reverend Marrero. I had minimal contact with Reverend Marrero, but needless to say, my ceremony was so beautifully conducted. His demeanor helped ease our nerves, and his passion made our ceremony so intimate. I believe everyone cried at the ceremony.

I'm coming up on my 1 year anniversary and was re-reading my vows thinking about how I had the best ceremony that I've ever heard for my wedding. It made me realize that I hadn't checked my wedding wire review to make sure that my review for Rev. Marrero had correctly posted. I accidentally wrote the review under the wrong name and never got it corrected. So, here's my review from last year:

We couldn't have asked for a better minister. We met with him a couple of days before the wedding and could tell immediately that he would be great. He is laid back and easy to talk to, and his ceremony felt that way too. It was a wonderful mix of traditional and contemporary. We decided not to write our own vows, and just used what Rev. Marrero normally uses. We were so happy with the whole ceremony. The vows have all of the traditional aspects to them, but they included things that we should try to do on a day to day basis. I wish I had my copy here to post them because my family all told me how wonderful and touching they thought the vows were. He was great and made our ceremony very memorable.

My husband and I still talk about how perfect his words and message were. He gave us fantastic vows that we will always look back on and try to remember to live by.

Reverend marrero really performs miracles!! He is truly a man of god and a blessing. He saved us from a bind & arranged a beautiful last-minute beach ceremony. He was professional and took care of EVERYTHING!! He even introduced us to his beautiful daughter who was a TERRIFIC photographer!!! Our wedding was PERFECT thanks to his serenity. Truly excellent service :) He was outstanding and a down to earth gentleman! i would recommend him to everyone!!

I don't know if I can say it any better than other posters here, but I too, felt an immediate connection; his warmth, love for GOD, and for his family. He was actually referred to us by another Pastor, who was already booked for our day. GOD knew what He was doing!

It was just going to be my fiance and me, so we were a bit nervous about who could help us with flowers, video, etc. From our first phone conversation I knew that we had found the right man to marry us. We were nervous and Rev Marrero was so kind, engaging, professional and helpful. He knew exactly how to make us feel all would be taken care of. He arranged for our license, paperwork after the ceremony, copies of wedding certificate, our vows, and even sang for us! He drove my fiance to our ceremony site, then me, so it would be recorded on film, the first time my fiance saw me in my dress! His beautiful wife Tammy took video and pictures to complement our wedding photographer, and we couldn'tve been happier with the results. I loved having her there to talk to, to catch my flying veil, to capture a different perspective with our camera, and I especially loved the Godly relationship she and Rev have. It was very awe inspiring.

The Marreros were very attentive and took us to different places to have more pictures taken. Not once did we feel rushed or unimportant. Then we got a wonderful surprise, Rev Marrero's plans changed and he had the afternoon available, so he offered to be our driver for the day, and took us El Yunque RainForest! It was a lot of fun, and we loved the photos. One in particular came out so well we had many copies made for family and friends. The only thing I noticed is having to ask a couple times for copies of wedding certificate, but acknowledge we married smack in the middle of the wedding season there, too.

If you are looking for a Godly man to perform your wedding ceremony in Puerto Rico,look no further. We highly recommend Rev Marrero.

Reverend Marrero is everything short of a licensed wedding planner. Although a little more expensive than sorting everything out ourselves, the Reverend made our wedding in Puerto Rico as simple and beautiful as possible. He lined up the photographers, picked out the perfect secluded beach, picked us up at the hotel, provided the bouquet & boutineer, and created a beautiful path on the beach of palm branches and flower peddles.

Reverend Marrero is nice, I will say that. He is very hard to get in touch with and that should've been a red flag for us right there. Leading up to the wedding, we had a difficult time with him. He SOLD us when we had our initial call/interview with him, but after we paid him, we could barely get in touch with him. He is very expensive, but we planned a destination wedding and had a time crunch, and felt we had limited options. We should not have settled. He never provided us with a written program. We had no idea how the ceremony would go (which was evident during the ceremony itself - we didn't even know when to say I DO!). Prior to the ceremony he prayed with my bridesmaids and myself, and as soon as the prayer ended he made sure the photographer got pictures of us praying and asked me to send him the photos when we received them. Reverend Marrero made (not funny) jokes during the ceremony and didn't include certain parts of the ceremony that we had discussed. He constantly made comments about the photographers durign the ceremony and afterwards about how he wanted to be in the photos and even SANG after the blessing of the food/before our first dance (the exact timing is a blur but I will never forget feeling mortified and annoyed). His services felt very cheap and commercial and I truly wish we had gone with someone else. If possible, use a family member or close friend to officiate your wedding. They know you best and will know exactly what to say to make your wedding ceremony perfect.
