Finding an officiant for our destination wedding was scary, as both my husband and I wanted someone who would create a ceremony that was truly special. Reverend Emily was exactly what we were looking for. When she sent us her first draft for the ceremony, it matched our vision so perfectly that we didn’t have any changes to request, even though she was very willing to make changes if need be.

Reverend Emily was wonderful to work with. We were a destination wedding in Sevierville, TN so we did not meet in person prior to that day. She was able to work into the ceremony our unity cross and made sure it went smoothly.
I am so glad we made the choice to have her officiate our big day. She is very professional and was so easy to work with.

We absolutely recommend her to any future brides/grooms!

Could not have been happier. Rev. Emily met and exceeded every expectation. We gave her general information, ideas and concepts; and she gave us a ceremony that fit us. Our family and friends loved it and several asked for copies of the ceremony to read and share.
Rev. Emily is also a genuinely nice person who is a joy to work with. Our friends and family loved her.

Emily was absolutely fantastic. We are from Nashville, but held our wedding in Knoxville so we knew it might be a little more difficult finding a reverend; she had stunning reviews so we planned a meeting over brunch and found she was exactly what we were looking for!! We didn't know exactly what we wanted as far as the ceremony going into our meeting, but she gave us multiple options and examples, and really listened to what we did and didn't want to help make sure our visions aligned. She provided us with her draft maybe 4 months out to ensure we got exactly what we wanted and it was spot on; she always responded extremely quickly via email, which was very reassuring planning from so far away. Emily was extremely professional and asked all the questions we did not even think to ask, and really made sure everyone knew exactly what was going on at the RD - who stands where and spacing, options for bridal party walking down aisle, exactly how everyone should turn for the best pictures, etc.

Luckily I am married to the man of my dreams, but if I were still in need of an officiant, Emily would be my only call! She helped make my wedding absolutely perfect!!

My husband and I had our year long plans thrown out the window when hurricane Irma damaged the island we were originally supposed to get married on... with a week to completely change everything we contacted Emily to marry us in pigeon forge. I cannot say enough good things about her and her service! She was so kind. Because it was so last minute there wasn’t a lot of time for us to get to know each other but let me tell you I couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect wedding ceremony!! After our ceremony I told her how well she encompassed who we are and she responded by saying she always puts on her “intuitive thinking cap” to write her ceremonies, well she must be bordering beyond intuitive into psychic because she somehow managed to completely get us... no joke, the words and phrases she used, the things she said are the things we say to each other, the things we dream about. We were in awe! She literally made a rushed change of plans the most perfect moment of our lives! We cannot recommend or thank her enough!

We flew over to Tennessee from the UK for our wedding, so we didn't get to meet anyone before we arrived, but Reverend Emily was perfect. She was so helpful before we arrived in America over email, making things so easy. When we met her on the day she was lovely and just right for our day. Highly recommend!

Emily is the best! She was so helpful in making the ceremony something personal and so meaningful to us. (So much so we cried happy tears the whole time!) Her flexibility was amazing, and even though things we're running behind she remained calmed and helped things go smoothly. I couldn't imagine not having her there. After the ceremony, even our family was so happy that she was a part of our special day. I can't say enough about how grateful we were that Emily was our officiant.

Reverend Emily is the most incredible officiant and the most kind and caring person, I'm honestly struggling to write this, because my prior and current attempts have not done justice to her and the ceremony she made for us - let's just say it was absolutely perfect. We truly could not have been happier!

We are so appreciative of the all work and time she put into creating our ceremony, which was truly unforgettable and unique. All of our family was in awe of her and were continuously commenting the rest of the wedding what a beautiful ceremony she did!

We absolutely loved and will always cherish our ceremony. Thank you, Reverend Emily!

Emily has a calm, fun, and reassuring personality that helps with wedding ceremony jitters and to enjoy the day! She answered all of our questions and was willing to change some of the wording for our vows to better suit our personalities and relationship. My husband is Spanish, and she even suggested including a Spanish expression of congratulations at the end of our ceremony to engage our Spanish-speaking guests. Overall, it was a joy to have Emily as our officiant. We can't say enough nice things and would definitely recommend her to other couples! :) Thank you, Emily!! Gracias!

There is a lot to like about Reverend Emily, but what I think was most helpful to me was that she kept reaching out to me in the weeks leading up to the wedding, encouraging me to work on the ceremony, and keeping me on track without leaving this important aspect of our wedding day to the last minute. While I could have simply taken one of her existing ceremonies, I had told her I wanted to tailor the words of our ceremony to our own family. She helped me do that and kept me on time.

Emily was perfectly pleasant every step of the way, always had a pleasant and cheerful smile on her face, and was a joy to work with. She was professional at every step, and also flexible as she travelled to our wedding in Nashville and even found her own lodging with friends, saving me a good bit of money.

Our ceremony was perfectly lovely and I would recommend Reverend Emily to anyone.

It was an absolute pleasure working with reverend Emily. She was quick to respond with every email and communicated well with us. Our vows were very personalized and she included my husbands daughters in the ceremony. I would recommend her services to anyone and I am sure they would be as happy and satisfied as we were.

Rev. Emily was recommended by my venue and I am so glad she was. We waited until the last minute to book our officiant and in the few weeks we got to spend working with Emily it felt like we had months of support and planning. Emily is fantastic! She is easy to communicate with, quick to respond, and was so helpful with what we wanted. She is so flexible when it comes to the type of ceremony you want. She is so professional and knows what she is doing! Plus she is a great guide through the whole process of rehearsal and wedding day when you feel like you don't know what you are doing. I would definitely recommend Emily to anyone looking for a wedding officiant. We contacted her last minute because our minister had a death in his family and had to back out. From the day I called her until the day of the wedding she was very responsive to all of our needs and concerns (it being last minute). Emily sent us a copy of the ceremony without ever meeting the bride and groom and it was as if she had known them their entire lives!! On the day of the wedding she was the first one to show up at the park where the ceremony took place. This was the day of the wildfires that devastated Gatlinburg...we knew they were getting ready to close the park due to the risk of fire but she stayed professional all the way! If you are looking for someone she is your person...she is not only professional but compassionate and we now think of her as a friend.

We are so thankful we received a recommendation from our venue for Emily! She sent us a few ceremony examples to start with and was completely open to using the ceremony my husband and I ultimately crafted. We were genuinely worried at the start of our planning that we wouldn't find someone that fit "us" but we can now say that our ceremony wouldn't have been what it was without her! She was uber professional and an absolute joy to work with.

I contacted Reverend Emily last minute after there was a conflict with my previous officiant. She was flexible, responsive, and was able to send me a contract within 24 hours of me contacting her. The ceremony was incredible and she was exceedingly helpful in telling us how the paperwork needed to be filled out. I highly recommend her services!

Working with Emily was fantastic! She was responsive, friendly, and we really enjoyed having her officiate our little elopement. We had trouble finding someone that would go to a private cabin in Georgia AND perform a non-religious ceremony but Emily was willing to meet us there and accommodate our religious preferences.

She was flexible with the time, the ceremony, and we really could not have asked for more! So glad we found her!

Reverend Emily was an absolute joy to work with. She wrote an incredibly beautiful ceremony for us, incorporating special readings and a message that reflected our relationship and beliefs. Emily has such a calming presence. Everyone commented on the service and how perfect it was. She took care of everything and was the perfect officiant. Reverend Emily was a very special part of our private ceremony. She allowed us to completely customize the ceremony, and even included some personal bits that she picked up in the short time that we spent together before the ceremony. She also supplied some very helpful material that helped us to plan our ceremony. Emily really put my husband and I at ease. She was super flexible in that our ceremony was in a crowded state park on a Tuesday evening - and she was still up for it!

Reverend Emily was absolutely fantastic! My husband and I were wanting to do a unique and non-religious ceremony but weren't sure what exactly what we wanted to do. Emily sent over several excellent examples, met with us in person, and put together a custom tree planting ceremony. She incorporated the story of how we met and created a truly special experience and ceremony that was a real reflection of us. She was an absolute pleasure to work with.

Emily is absolutely wonderful. She's professional, kind, sweet, charismatic and brings a calming presence to your wedding day. She is able to put together a perfect ceremony for every couple. During the ceremony, she speaks clearly and loudly and doesn't make it seem like she's just reading from her binder. We got many compliments on how she spoke and conducted the ceremony.

She's a kind-hearted person and we were very lucky to have her officiate our wedding!

I could not have dreamed of a more perfect officiant for my wedding! We didn't want a ceremony, just a private wedding on our property that meant something for us. We were doing a last minute wedding, so were really just looking for someone available who would do it before our marriage license expired.

Emily was not only available, and came out at the last minute, but she was even very flexible with how the ceremony would go, a treasure for one who plans last minute and very poorly! I had only spoken to her once, so I was very surprised that she seemed to know our family so well. She can really read people quickly, has a wonderful and caring personality, and is amazing at coming up with just the right things to say at your wedding, no matter what your background or beliefs are. We knew our day would be special, because of the vows we would make to each other. Emily made it even more memorable, not just by officiating, but by the thoughtful words she brought meant just for us.

We were so pleased Reverend Emily was there to marry us on our wedding day. We'd only met with her a few times, but felt like we have know her for years! She has such a warm personality and really cared about making our ceremony special. Also helped calm our nerves on the day, just by her presence! She is the greatest and most down to earth person ever and if that's what you're into-book her in!

Emily did such a fantastic job with our ceremony and was wonderful to work with! She met up with me to get a feel for the kind of ceremony we were looking for and was completely flexible and reaponsive to our wants. We are extremely thankful that Reverend Emily was our officiant on our special day. She helped us in coming up with a ceremony that best suited our wants & needs as well as making my fiance and I feel very comfortable on stage. Would highly recommend her to anyone.

Reverend Emily took the time to get to know us as a couple. On the day of our wedding she was absolutely wonderful to work with! Reverend Emily went far above and beyond to make our day special! Reverend Emily is very professional and prepared for anything. I would recommend her services over and over. Reverend Emily is a true blessing!

Emily was perfect for our small, intimate ceremony! Upon our first meeting, she was kind, personable but professional, informative & just what we were looking for! It was a second marriage for both of us, so we were looking for a ceremony that would join our families together. The ceremony she came up with was perfect! She came to our house, which made things convenient & we got married in our own backyard! I would recommend Emily wholeheartedly!

Emily was so wonderful. She really personalized our ceremony to exactly the way that we wanted it. I was so nervous before the ceremony and she talked to me and made me feel so much better. I just loved her. Everyone at the ceremony commented on how well she did. She made our day so memorable. I really loved the reading that she suggested about love.

If you are looking for a good Officiant you can stop now, you just found her! I found Emily to be very easy to work with. With my new blended family came 2 different religious beliefs systems. She was willing to work with us and had no issues working everything we asked of her in to the perfect ceremony. Our venue was none traditional and she had no problems blending in with everyone, just as if she was meant to be there. Communication was fast and easy. I did not have to wait to talk to her on the phone, get a reply back from email or texts. We were even out of the country for the week leading up to the wedding and she was ably to make the final changes we requested 2 days before the ceremony. I would love to rave more about how wonderful she is, but I think you should just contact her yourself and get your wedding plans started! Good luck with your new lives together......I know mine was started off with the right person! Take care!

Can't say enough about how great our ceremony went. As soon as we started talking to Emily we could tell she's experienced and knows what she's doing. She made herself available to us on short notice, which was crucial to us, and was very helpful with suggesting ceremony options. We wanted our ceremony to be secular, but also wanted to observe the Jewish tradition of breaking a glass (for the benefit of the bride's grandparents), and Emily worked it in seamlessly (grandma and grandpa were delighted!). Emily worked well with our venue managers in preparation for the ceremony, and then during the ceremony proper she seemed very comfortable in front of our guests (much more than I was!). Tons of our friends and family mentioned how much they like her after the ceremony and they all talked about how sincere and heartfelt the words of the ceremony were. I know 5 out of 5 stars seems like I didn't put a lot of thought into the review, but Emily really did make our wedding special, and we'll never forget that!

Reverend Emily was EXCELLENT!! It ended up raining on our day but she was happy to still do the ceremony. She was positive and did everything extra that we asked. We will definitely be asking Rev. Emily to do our vow renewal in the later future!! Thank you so much rev. Emily!!!

Working with Emily was great. She was quick to get back to all my emails and phone calls. The day of she arrived early and had no issue moving ceremony up to get it in before rain came. She made everything easy and stress free!!! I highly recommend her!!!

Emily put together a really beautiful ceremony to celebrate our 10-year vow renewal. She asked some questions to get an idea of what we wanted out of the ceremony, and took the information and ran with it. The ceremony was a perfect blend of sentiment and humor, and Emily really went out of her way to make sure our day was perfect (including preparing to deal with difficult family members, if needed!).

Reverend Emily was a dream to work with on our wedding ceremony. She helped us craft wedding vows that perfectly reflected our relationship and beliefs. Emily was terrific. It was like having a friend perform the ceremony which is exactly what we wanted. She accomodated our wedding date with only about 2 weeks notice too! The ceremony was unique and customized for us. Her personality matched ours and we have a lot in common. Many of our guests told us how impressed they were with Emily. She led us in prayer that was a special blessing from God on our marriage. We're very happy she was available to perform our wedding and would recommend her to anyone.

I absolutely loved everything about Emily...she was so sweet and went over everything she was going to do and she just felt like a part of the family. I am so glad that she was the one to do my ceremony and if anyone ever wants the the best at what they do then I suggest Rev. We LOVED Reverend Emily. We had a destination wedding, and wanted to have her perform the legal part of the ceremony. She was very willing to work with our friend, who co-officiated. She provided guidance and sample wording, much of which he used in the ceremony. She was very prompt in responding to our requests, and provided us the perfect ceremony. She helped to make our daughter's wedding a TRULY MAGICAL day. YEAH EMILY!!!!!

I cannot thank Emily enough for her services on our wedding day, everything turned out exactly as we wanted them! She was not a only a pleasure to work with from a far (we had a destination wedding), she was continually in contact and available for questions, changes, and general guidance in the months leading up to the wedding and creating the ceremony for us that we envisioned and what we valued as part of it. She was also very professional with not only our wants, but also taking into consideration handling difficult parents and delicate situations. It was a wonderful experience to work with her, and I think anyone would be as pleased as we are! Thanks again for everything Emily!

Emily was amazing! She was so friendly and easy to work with. She knew we wanted a short and sweet ceremony and tailored one for us. Emily was easy to meet with and helped out on our wedding day. She made sure we didn't need anything and if she did, she helped us! She sent us multiple options for ceremonies and even helped us include our son in our ceremony. Emily is AWESOME! She took into account what we wanted out of our ceremony and personalized it just for us!
