Best day ever!

I would highly recommend. He was very kind, patient, and worked with our schedule. Also responds very quickly and arrived on time for our wedding day. Sweet man for sure and cried during our vows.

We were so grateful to have Reverend Valentine officiate our daughter Kristina and her husband Roy’s wedding. His communication throughout the entire process was wonderful—he listened carefully to every request and made sure the ceremony reflected exactly what the couple envisioned. The ceremony itself was absolutely flawless. Reverend Valentine brings such a calm, professional presence that set the perfect tone for the day. He personally checked on everyone prior to the ceremony and his calming energy was a huge blessing in that moment. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a thoughtful and experienced officiant. Again, thank you so much! I understand why port gamble placed you on their preferred vendors list and I’m so grateful that they did.

Rev. Valentine Was Amazing

When my husband and I began searching for the right officiant for our special day, we chose Rev. Valentine. He was kind, respectful, and his words were thoughtful. He completed a rehearsal with us, was on time, kind, and punctual. He left many of our families and friends in tears with happiness (us too!). We always say when people ask about our marriage, we proudly say, Cupid married us! 💕 Twice! We had a special COVID ceremony for my recently passed Grandma who lost her battle to Dementia almost 2 years ago at our dream venue for a private ceremony due to her being high risk. 💔 Thank you Rev. Valentine for blessing our union. We’re 4 years strong and counting. We highly recommend Rev. Valentine and hope he can renew our vows in the years to come! 🙏

Fantastic Officiant!

Reverend Edwin Valentine was a joy to work with. I coordinated a wedding in Port Gamble that he officiated, and I highly recommend his service to anyone who wants their ceremony to run smoothly and be personalized to the couple. I would love to work with him again in the future.

Perfection

We used Rev. Valentine for our backyard “Soiree” in August 2022. He was professional and charming… really easy to listen to, and put together a perfect ceremony with all the varying elements we wanted to represent our very different families. I would 1000% hire him for my next wedding 😉.

Funny and Sweet

Mr. Valentine officiated our wedding at Thornewood Castle :) During the planning process, he was very professional and quick to respond. He gave us advice on our vows and guided us on what type of ceremony we wanted (ours was religious {Christian Baptist and Catholic}). During our wedding, he arrived on time, early in fact, and added some humor at the end, which we all love and appreciated since our vows had a bit of humor in it too! Definitely have him officiate your wedding!

A Knight In Shining Armor

Our original Officient fell through less than a month before our wedding day. In the midst of Covid and not even knowing if we could go through with the wedding, I sought out Reverend Valentine. This man was gracious and professional and also flexible for our wedding day. He reassured us that if our venue fell through due to local pandemic restrictions that he would be happy to take us down to our local waterfront to perform the ceremony. He relieved so much of my stress and anxiety and was so nice and such a pleasure to work with. Our wedding went on as planned: the venue was perfect, the Reverend was perfect, the whole day was perfect. There was one beautiful day in the middle of 2020 and it was our wedding day. I will be forever grateful.

Absolutely wonder wedding officiant!

Reverend Edwin Valentine was fantastic to work with! He truly made our ceremony exactly what I had envisioned! He’s a very pleasant, calm and collected person as well as very professional, timely, responsive and super flexible. I was so grateful to have found him as he worked diligently on my last minute wedding request. What was also so great is that he was there every step of the way to ensure things turned out the way I wanted. My family really enjoyed his presence and I was extremely pleased with his service. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to hire a beyond outstanding wedding officiant.

Helped make our day great

We hired Reverend Valentine after our original officiant could no longer do our wedding due to the virus. I wasn't sure how this was all going to go and wasn't even sure we could have a wedding. When I talked to Reverend Valentine he said "we will make this happen no matter what." I needed to hear those words. He was very responsive my emails and questions. Be was patient with changes I wanted to make. When we had music issues at the last minute (30 minutes before the ceremony) he ran to his car to get a blue tooth speaker so that I could have the songs I wanted for the ceremony. He was very calm and relaxed. We would recommend Reverend Valentine.

Such a Kind Man of God

The Reverand married us and without our input of verbiage provided to him, he gave the words of scripture that committed us and held us to be accountable to the solemn and commitment of the joining of marriage. His words were so well spoken and he made all of us to make this to be the great and meaningful moment that it was, thanks to him and so grateful in this time of the COVID-19 he made the decision & sacrifice of marrying us. My God richly bless him.

Our wedding 08.18.19

My husband and I were thrilled with the proper accommodation that Edwin provided for our wedding. We were given proper introduction of the order of the ceremony step by step. This made our day less stressful and fun. He provided a longer version for our ceremony since we did not have music in the background. I recommend Edwin with all our open heart. God bless.

Reverend Valentine performed our 20 year vow renewal at Redondo Beach. It was out on the pier where my husband asked me to marry him. It was just us and our 2 kids. PERFECT!! It was freezing cold in December, but the sun was shining with not a cloud in the sky. Reverend Valentine made it absolutely perfect!

The ceremony that Reverend Valentine created for us was beautiful. Extra touches he added, such as a beautiful poem and prayers, a rose ceremony for the mothers, really made our experience unique and unforgettable. I would definitely recommend him to my friends or to anyone that is getting married.

Rev. Valentine was AMAZING. He is so kind, caring, honest, flexible, easy-going and helpful. You know, 100%, that the words he is speaking are from his heart. I felt like he was apart of our family. Our wedding was very intimate with extremely dim lighting and he didn't skip a beat. You can tell he is genuinely happy for you and feels joy being apart of you special day. Will reccommend him over and over and over again!

Reverend Valentine officiated at my backyard wedding and I couldn't be happier! He met with us before hand to get an idea of what we were really looking for and gave us a few things to think about (we decided to add a rose ceremony for mothers). He emailed us a document with everything he was going to say based on that meeting not long after to give us time to make any changes (we didn't, it was perfect). He arrived the day of in plenty of time and did a wonderful job. We couldn't be happier!

My husband is a Christian and want our wedding to be religious which is a must to us till these days (however, I am a Buddhist). When we have ones of those days that were not easy we remember the vows on our wedding day. Reverend Valentines is very professional and run our ceremony which pleased us lots! . Plus the guests are very impressed with the ceremony he has prepared well with timing. Definitely, he is very flexible. He able to meet with us bf the wedding day and go through with us on whatever we needs. Absolutely, satisfied and truly happy he is a part or our life time memories.

Rev.Valentine was a breath of fresh air during through the hectic wedding planning process. He was very professional and helped my husband and I adjust the ceremony to fit our needs with ease. He was prompt with email responses and always punctual in our meetings. Rev. He personalized our ceremony to our liking and picked very beautiful versus to be read. Reverend Valentine officiated our ceremony, and it was quite lovely. He was attentive and availabe to answer our questions, was available for the rehearsal with no problems, and was definitely invested in making sure that our ceremony reflected who we were as a couple. He has a lot of suggestions for when we were not sure how we wanted the ceremony to go down, and provided us with sample readings and ceremony outlines to give us ideas. I could not recommend Rev. Valentine more, he was really great.

Reverend Valentine was very responsive to our phone calls and performed the ceremony just as we wished. His suggestions for scripture during the ceremony were placed very well throughout the proceedings and made it special.

There is not enough to be said about having Reverend Valentine officiate our wedding. Being that we both were older when we chose to get married and my husband had just survived brain cancer, it was the most special day in both our lives. Reverend Valentine took that to the highest level giving us and our family and children precious moments and suggestions making both our mothers feel special by suggesting a surprise rose be given to each of them during the ceremony. Those little items that he figured out during our initial meetings gave us so much joy and personal touch.
I am still complimented on our wedding. And how wonderful and special it was.
If you are looking to have your own wedding. Not out of a catalog or if you are, I know and promise Reverend Valentine will give you more memories to add to your lives together.

Reverend Valentine was very flexible and was willing to get down into a creek bed to provide my wife and I the wedding of our dreams. He was always very responsive when contacted both by phone and e-mail. He provided his services at a reasonable price. I highly suggest anyone who gets married in the Sea-Tac area give him a call.

Reverend Edwin Valentine was excellent! He was very professional, on time, and responsive to emails and phone calls, regardless of where he was on the globe. I also contacted him within weeks of our Ceremony, and he was still able to not only make it to our special day, but also make it amazing. Our ceremony was beautiful, and Mr. Valentine catered to our needs and wishes. The ceremony was perfect in length and included everything we wanted. His prices were reasonable and he was very professional about receiving payment. I would absolutely recommend his services to anyone looking to tie the knot!

He was a pleasure to work with. He helped make the wedding ours. He helped us to see all the different ways the vows can be spoken and a ceremony like the unity candles or the sand. We chose to have the rose ceremony. It turned out wonderful.

We really enjoyed working with Edwin at our wedding and thought he was wonderful to work with. He had fantastic ideas for how to make our small, informal ceremony personal. Unfortunately, we did have a snaffu which is why I rated lower on the Quality of service. We had a small, informal ceremony, so we opted to go without the rehearsal. We were given the script and reviewed it, then reviewed it with the photographer to make sure we could get the shots we wanted. When we performed the ceremony, the order of the ceremony was changed from the script without notice, and this unfortunately meant our photographer was not in place to capture our first kiss. So while I loved what Reverend Valentine brought to our happy day, I highly recommend arranging for the rehearsal to help guarantee a mix-up like ours doesn't happen.

Overall I thought Reverend Valentine was great! The only negative thing I have to say about him was that during the ceremony he cleared his throat alot.
