Beautiful and simple

My partner and I wanted a quick and easy, no frills marriage service and Connie came through. We felt a little awkward wanting such a stripped down ceremony but Connie made it feel like a top tier service. Thank you Connie!

Joyful, personable and reliable.

Rev Connie Jones-Steward was an absolute pleasure to work with on my best friends wedding. She came highly recommended by the Reef in Long Beach. She arrived early, had a joyous and soulful demeanor that made the ceremony so special.

Fantastic Officiant!

My wife and I made the best decision seeking out Connie to officiate our wedding! We knew right from our first Skype meeting with her that she was the one. She did an excellent job on our wedding. Her love story was phenomenal! We have been hearing non stop how wonderful our wedding was from all of our guests. I highly recommend Connie, she is amazing!

Awesome and easy to work with ‘

Rev Connie married us on 5/10/19. She was a pleasure to work with. Always there to answer questions and able to get in contact with easily. She was very punctual the day of the ceremony and everyone loved her energy while officiating the ceremony. Afterwards she swiftly filed our paperwork with the county and we received our marriage certificate a few weeks later. I would definitely recommend Reverend Connie for any officiating needs

Reverend Connie Jones-Steward provided an outstanding wedding ceremony for us. We couldn't have asked for anything better. She met with us for an interview to understand what we were looking for, and also had each of us answer a detailed questionnaire so that she may get to know us through each of our points of view. We are 2 women who have been together for 14 years, and weren't going to marry until it was legal nationwide. We are not outright religious, but have more of a Wiccan-based philosophy.
The ceremony she put together gave our guests a look into our lives, our long-time love, and our hopes for the future. It was very touching, tasteful, accurate, and humorous too. We did a hand-fasting ceremony, ring exchange, exchanged our own vows, and jumped the broom. Our guests were laughing and crying. Everyone commented on what a touching ceremony it was. It was absolutely great!

Reverend Connie Jones-Steward made our special day special and I would certainly recommend her service. She walked us through the process of how to start the process of retrieving our marriage license. She took care of filing the paperwork in court This definitely helped to ease me and my husband's mind.

I highly recommend Connie, she performed a beautiful ceremony for my daughters dedication. She added little details of us and the God parents and beautiful wording. Everyone kept commenting on how lovely everything was. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. Very pleased with our service.

Reverend Connie Jones-Steward came to our home to perform our baby's blessing. She was very professional, friendly and understood exactly what we wanted for the blessing. After looking everywhere for the right officiant, we found the perfect one for our family! Her fees were also very reasonable.

Rev Connie was FABO.... She was sooo nice, sweet and very helpful. We are from outta state and interested in a wedding in Los Angeles on the beach. She helped us pick the perfect beach and location by the Santa Monica Pier. She was always available to help me with all my questions, and I had plenty. She was on time, and helped us get all the preperations done before and during the ceremony.
The price was very fair and would use her again and recommend her to everyone. The words she chose to use for our wedding were perfect and very sweet. She will/can customize anything you want. I just cant say enough about her. She was wonderful and my advice to you is USE REV CONNIE...

Rev. Connie was extremely helpful to me when I was scheduling our small wedding ceremony. She provided flexibility with both the date and time after I had to keep changing it based on our schedules and the schedule of our witness. She also allowed us to dictate how we wanted the wedding to feel- we wanted only a brief ceremony with plenty of time to exchange our written vows, and she gave us just that. It was simple and perfect for us, and Connie was warm, courteous and thoughtful. It was a joy to have her be a part of our special day and I would highly recommend her services to anyone needing an officiant!

Rev. Jones-Steward helped make my wedding so special and meaningful to myself and my (now) husband. She was quick to respond to my calls or emails, and she customized the ceremony to fit our personalities. The ceremony was perfect, the wording was great and she even used information about where we were getting married (under a giant oak tree) in the ceremony. On the day of the wedding she was on time and ready to help us. She was flexible when, at the last minute, we said that we would like to face our friends and family, and she helped us maneuver the microphone so we could do so. Since my husband and I live 4 hours from where the wedding took place, it was so helpful and convenient that she was able to notarize all the extra paperwork for changing my name. Thank you, Rev. Jones-Steward, for all of your help and your superb words.

Reverend Connie Jones-Steward save my wedding ceremony and was awesome from beginning to end. My original minister's husband had taken very ill and she had to cancel 2 days before my ceremony. I was panicked (as all brides are during this stressful time) and I thought all was lost. My officiant was kind enough to find her replacement in Rev. Jones-Steward. And let me tell you she was not only timely, professional, calming (in every way), kind, attentative, but she was also gracious and warm. I told my minister (who happens to be a very good friend) that I felt as if I had known Rev. Jones-Steward all of my life and that she was absolutely perfect for us.

I can't say enough about her, everyone at the wedding adored her and she made our wedding day even more special for having her gifts and presence at the center of our day.

Yes .... I would HIGHLY recommend her to everyone, she is one of the most kindest individuals you will ever meet and she will make your day as special as you are.

Celebrant Connie Jones-Steward did an exceptional job at our wedding. She listened to what we wanted and incorporated our ideas into our ceremony. Our wedding wad delayed for reasons beyond our control and she was calm and helpful during a very stressful situation. I would recommend her to any couple in need of an officiant.

WOW! Minister Jones-Steward is not only an officiant but she also doubles as a planner/assistant. She was there for us to answer numerous questions and help guide us in positive directions to make our day special.
She is organized, creative, and timely! She even arrived to our ceremony early and helped with decorating since the original decorators were behind schedule! I couldn't believe it!

We were very happy to have Minister Connie officiate our wedding. We had a simple wedding ceremony in a public park and her fees fit our budget. We liked the words she wrote for the ceremony which reflected our story. She was also very accommodating. She was able to include some last minute changes into the ceremony.

I can't say enough about Minister Jones-Stewart and her wonderful handling of a very special situation in my life.
I had been in a committed relationship for over 20 years when I found out my future husband had a terminal illness. We had not been planning to get married, but when we got the terrible news, we wanted to complete our relationship by getting married. I was afraid it was too late, but when I contacted Rev. Jones-Stewart she arranged for me to get an immediate marriage license (I picked it up on the day he left the hospital, the same day I called her), and we were married the very next day.
Her thoughtfulness and immediate response to my situation made a beautiful ceremony out of what could have been a devastating experience. I was able to have the ceremony I wanted, with the words I wanted, and in the place of my choice. I Don't think this could have happened if not for Rev. Jones-Steward.

We really thought we'd have trouble finding someone to make our wedding ceremony become a reality. January 1, 2014 at the stroke of midnight...at the beach! Rev. Connie Jones-Steward accepted the challenge and performed a beautiful ceremony for us. She was kind, patient, flexible, timely, organized, open-minded, knowledgeable, and professional. Connie did a great job as the officiant for my wedding. My partner and I chose to write our own ceremony and we were running late in getting our text to her, but Connie was patient and understanding. We also took a fairly unorthodox approach to our ceremony and its location, and Connie was interested in a respectful way, while being open-minded throughout. When the ceremony was late in starting, Connie was totally unflustered, even though she had shown up half an hour earlier (and at short notice) at our request. Connie also communicated very promptly and reliably around sending our signed marriage licence off for processing.

Rev. Connie was not only an unexpected joy in our planning process but she was genuine in understanding our situation, ceremony preferences and spiritual point-of-view. She was accomodating in meeting with us and having the appropriate paperwork to ensure that the ceremony met our requirements. She even used the information from our contract to make personalized comments during our ceremony- this made us really happy!

The issues we had with the quality of service was that she continually called me by the incorrect pronunciation of my name during the ceremony- even after I said my name aloud and correctly. That was the time for her to pick up on the difference and make the adjustment. Also, the script she used was slightly different from the agreed upon version my partner and I had so we felt a little lost at times; not to mention, Rev. Connie forgot to pause the ceremony for the soloist resulting in our having to have her perform during our first dance at the reception. Though these errors may make some cringe, her energy and attitude coupled with our resolve to go with the flow no matter what, really did make for an amazingly beautiful and sincerely memorable ceremony. Responds quickly to all communications. Is flexible we had planned on a outdoor wedding with a dove release but it ended up raining and the wedding was moved inside she quickly changed from the dove ceremony to a sand ceremony with no problems.
