  Wonderful experience!

  Rev. Susan jumped in late in our wedding planning after things didn't work out with our previously planned officiant. She was accommodating and helpful, and most importantly, she felt to us like a truly spiritual person who takes her role as officiant to heart. She helped us to craft a ceremony that spoke to us, and she did so with so much warmth and kindness - we loved her!

  Susan was incredible!

  Susan was a literal lifesaver!! The officiant we’d originally booked accidentally double booked herself and we had to find a new one at the last minute. Within a few minutes of my (frantic) email inquiry Susan left me a very sweet and reassuring voicemail confirming her availability. She was communicative, professional, honest, punctual and very experienced and we can’t thank her enough. She fully respected and supported our desire for a nonreligious ceremony and was supportive of our LGBT wedding party members as well. A few people came to us after the wedding to tell us it was their favorite ceremony they’d heard!

  Reverand Susan was great to work with! Unfortunately our church (which we no longer go to!) refused to marry us due to our choice to live together before marriage---Reverand Susan was judgement free and easy to work with! She met with us to get to know us and we coordinated everything from then on via phone and email which was very easy! She allowed us to completely customize the ceremony and did a great job with executing it the day of! To top it all of, her price was very reasonable!! Couldn't have asked for a better officiant for our special day!!

We didn't have firm ideas on the language we wanted to use, just a general feeling we wanted to create, a balance of spiritual vs. not, and she did a great job helping us craft language that reflected us. She too the time to incorporate our story into the ceremony. I also appreciated the support she provided on the day, including keeping us all calm and having tissues at the ready for the ceremony. We really enjoyed working with Susan and would absolutely recommend.

  Reverand Susan Sirutis was a pleasure to work with. She is very flexible and allows you to customize your ceremony. She was very organized and very good at directing people during the rehearsal. The ceremony was beautiful and I received many compliments on the ceremony. I highly recommend her.

  Susan officiated our wedding on 10/12/2013 at the Bucks County Sheraton. I can't say enough good things about Susan. She was absolutely wonderful. She met with us beforehand so we could learn more about her. She provided us with many different types of vows and ceremonies that we could use and sample from. The day of the wedding she was early and made sure that everything ran smoothly. The ceremony itself was beyond my dreams-- Susan was just wonderful. I am very happy and recommend her heartily.

  Rev. Susan was a wedding ceremony lifesaver! We had been working with an officiant but just a few weeks before the wedding we all decided it was not a good fit and it would probably be best to find someone who could perform the ceremony we were looking for. It was the right thing to do but I was still feeling sad and disappointed. I called Susan and she really helped me calm down and she reassured me that this wasn't the first time that she's gotten a call like this. She said that once she even planned a ceremony in 4 days for a couple! She was easy to work with and she really made it clear that she was there to help and work with us on giving us the ceremony we wanted. She provided ideas and some guidance which was very helpful and we were able to come up with something that was perfect for us! I do have to mention one more thing. The day I called her to see if she was available she let me know that she was booked to perform a ceremony just a few hours before ours that same day, but she figured out the directions and she let me know she would be there if we felt comfortable with that. Unfortunately, a few days later she tore a ligament in her leg and notified us that she was on crutches. She assured us that wouldn't stop her from being there though! She was able to make it to the rehearsal and she even made it to the wedding ceremony with plenty of time to spare! The ceremony was beautiful and we're so thankful we found Rev. Susan!

  Last Minute Need

  Our officiant was unable to perform our ceremony and we had to find a last minute stand in. Susan was available and she was great over the phone. However I did ask her a couple times over email what her price was and how to pay her. She did not respond to those particular questions but we only had 2 weeks til the wedding so it wasn’t like we had time to shop around. The day of she came up to the bridal suite and asked me for $500 in cash or a check while I was in the middle of getting ready for the ceremony!
  I told her to find my father but instead she came up to my poor mother (divorced parents, she had already covered her costs) and demanded money from her. Then at the beginning of the ceremony my dad was standing with me at the altar waiting to give me away and she admonished him and made him sit down before asking who gave me away!!
  Really kinda ruined the whole ceremony and embarrassed my dad. I know in the long run it doesn’t matter, but that was literally the only bad part of the day and it was such an important part!
  Definitely would not hire her again.

  I love being a wedding minister. It is one of the happiest moments that a couple in love can experience with their families and friends.
  The joining of two people meant to be together in life who find each other and make a commitment to share their journey together, through good times and bad, and everything in between, is to be celebrated joyously by everyone.
  To learn that the bride felt they did not fully experience the joy of that special day is disheartening. While I take steps to ensure we are all on the same page so the ceremony flows smoothly, there could always opportunities for miscommunication. I always try to honor and respect the wishes of the couple for their ceremony. It is my belief through faith that in time only the beauty and specialness of the day will leave purely precious memories to cherish for the rest of their lives.
  I wish this couple a long, happy and healthy future together. May each and every day show them blessings.
