We found Tom through The Knot, and his excellent reviews convinced us to set up a meeting. From the very first call, Tom was professional, warm, and genuinely funny. We immediately felt comfortable with him.
Throughout the planning process, Tom was patient, organized, and incredibly diligent. With everything going on, it was hard for us to stay on top of every detail, and Tom consistently followed up to keep us on track—never pushy, always supportive. He made the entire process feel easy.
Now for the most important part: the ceremony. Tom arrived exactly when he said he would, and even though we weren’t able to have a rehearsal due to venue constraints and scheduling challenges with family, he handled everything flawlessly. His delivery was heartfelt, thoughtful, and had the perfect touch of humor. We requested a completely non-religious ceremony, and he honored that fully—every word felt intentional and true to who we are.
What truly set Tom apart, though, was the way he made us feel in the moment. When my bride walked in, I found myself overwhelmed and stuck in my own head. Tom made a few quiet, perfectly timed comments that brought me back into the present so I could truly experience that moment. That meant more to me than he’ll ever know.
Tom is not only an excellent officiant but a genuinely kind and grounding presence. We couldn’t recommend him more highly. If you’re considering him—just book him. You’ll be grateful you did.

Great Officiant!
We were very happy to have Rev. Tom officiate our wedding! Unlike other officiants we met during our search, Rev. Tom came across as very genuine and personable. Truly Amazing Officiant!!
Rev Tom honestly did a phenomenal job. Our ceremony was truly our favorite part of the entire wedding day and that was largely due to how amazing Tom was. He spoke SO well, and had the entire ceremony memorized - everyone was raving about him afterwards. He incorporated all of our requests and he was both meaningful and funny throughout the ceremony. He even stepped out of the way for our personal vows as well as our kiss - we got some amazing photos with just the two of us because of that.
We are so happy and so grateful to Rev Tom for making our ceremony truly magical. We wish we could relive it! Our biggest THANK YOU REV TOM!!

An incredible ceremony.
From the initial consultation to the ceremony itself, we had a 10/10 experience with reverend Tom. Tom was our officiant for our wedding on 10/17/22. A+++ would highly recommend him. We were looking for someone to put on a ceremony and entertain our crowd without depending on the “story” of the bride and groom meeting (like many other officiants do).
All of our guests were extremely complimentary of the ceremony. We kept it short at about 25 minutes or so. He was professional, the ceremony was serious but also light hearted with just a hint of humor here and there. He is flexible and will make adjustments to his material based on what the bride and groom want. He has a ton of great material and put in time and effort to talk with us and get to know us via zoom before the ceremony. We were very happy with his services.

Thorough, humorous and sentimental!
Rev. Tom did an amazing job at our wedding! Initially we did a zoom meeting where we got to know each other and he answered all our questions. He later sent a questionnaire about specifics during the ceremony like if there were certain traditions to make time for, who's walking down the aisle, how religious the ceremony would be etc. During our ceremony he made everyone laugh, we said it was okay to be funny in the questionnaire, and he had great anecdotes and quotes about marriage. We aren't so religious but both our parents are. Rev Tom was the perfect amount of pious to not be overwhelming for us and enough so our parents would enjoy. Everyone raved about him after the ceremony. I would definitely recommend him to anyone getting married!

wonderful ceremony
My husband and I were married by Reverend Tom Perrucchi a few weeks ago, and we highly recommend him as an officiant! :)
When we first got engaged, we were relatively young at 22 and 23 years old. Other officiants we met with made us feel clueless of treated us like children, which no one wants to experience as they are getting married. When we met Tom, we immediately felt comfortable and like we could be ourselves around him. We got coffee and just talked about life, travel, and being an insurance guy. :) We knew he was the right fit for us and for the lighthearted and loving atmosphere we wanted for our wedding day.
Two years later, after COVID precautions lifted, we finally got married and are very grateful that Tom was our officiant. He really listened to what we wanted and came up with clever suggestions to make our ceremony unique. I found myself forgetting my nerves and chuckling throughout the ceremony, and many of our guests commented that it was one of the best ceremonies they had attended. Tom brought a great balance of sincere marriage advice, light humor, and 80s pop culture references to make our ceremony meaningful and fun.

Not A Dry Eye In The House
My husband and I initially planned to have a friend marry us. We had to shift a lot of our plans due to COVID and one of the biggest changes was deciding 90 days out that we were going to hire an officiant. I made the poor man interview with 8 different options! Rev. Tom had officiated a family wedding my mother had attended about 4 years ago and she still talked about how amazing he was so we reached out to him and after a very lovely zoom call and days of mulling over far too many options, he was an obvious choice. The ceremony was perfect, there was levity when needed but it truly felt like there was a lot of heart within it. The people who attended in person and virtually are still telling us how lovely it was 2 months later. It was a real blessing and we were in very capable hands - I am very glad we trusted Rev. Tom with the most important day of our lives yet!

My husband and I just picked up our wedding license and immediately wanted to get married we came across Reverend Tom and he was so friendly and so adaptable he married us the next day. Our ceremony was so intimate just my husband and I and Rev Tom. He made it so special, meaningful, and very memorable, we couldn't ask for a better officiant.

Perfect for our Intimate Wedding Ceremony

He was just great !!!!
Rev. Tom was great and accommodating we had to move our wedding to Wisconsin at the last minute due to covid regulation in IL and he did the change without a problem. He was also so professional and great to talk to! He made us laugh on the phone and during rehearsal. I was truly grateful when during the wedding ceremony he noticed I was starting to hyperventilate and he checking in on me to make sure I was ok and try to wrap things up in a flawless manner. 'Reverently cool'
Rev Tom was a great choice for our wedding. He is a very easy going person and fun to be around and it really comes through when he's up on the stage. He made our ceremony personal and did a great job of keeping the ceremony about us. We had several guests approach us after the ceremony and tell us how his words touched them and spoke to their relationships. Rev Tom made sure to make the ceremony how we wanted it, we are not religious and he was respectful of our choices and reflected them in his choice of readings and quotes. Overall, I would highly recommend Rev Tom to anyone in need of an officiant!

Reverend Tom was the best officiant! We received so many compliments on the ceremony with people asking how long we'd known Reverend Tom (we'd just met a few months ago). Reverend Tom was EXCELLENT! We couldn't have asked for a better officiant. After the ceremony everyone was telling us how funny, entertaining and great he was. He allowed my husband and I to really be in the moment of the ceremony. It wasn't rushed and it wasn't too long. At one point he had us face each other and just look at each other and remember why we are getting married and to take it all in. I will never forget that. I'm glad he did because the rest of the night seemed to go by so fast. I'm grateful for him and his talents. It was a fantastic ceremony. And it's true what he says, he is Reverendly cool

Reverend Tom did a great job officiating our wedding. We met with a few Reverends and after meeting Rev. Tom we need he would be a good fit. He is nice, professional, funny, and personable. He will do the ceremony as you wish, and only add humor if you approve. We did, and he had our guests laughing. Most importantly, we all know the ceremony is also meant to be taken seriously, and Rev Tom knows this as well. Humor was added at the right times, which didn’t take away from the emotional times.
Rev. Tom did our ceremony without reading off of anything, which made it flow nicely and looks very professional. He knows when to step away so photographers get a good picture of just the bride and groom. This guy knows what he’s doing.
We had many family members ask who he was, and he got many compliments. He was so personable guests even thought he knew us. I’d recommend at least meeting with Rev. Tom to see if he will fit your wedding the way he did ours. Keep it up Rev. Tom!

The Wedding Guy!!
My husband and I just got married July 28, 2019 at the Marriott Lincolnshire Resort in IL. We hired Rev. Tom and right off the bat, we knew he was meant to be our officiant! I am so happy that we hired him. When we met with Tom, we told him that we wanted our wedding to be transitional, classy, modern, and with a new twist. He referenced music, he did an Irish blessing for us, he put a spin on passages from the Bible. You could really feel the love all around at our ceremony. There’s not much else to say except if you’re looking for an officiant that has spunk, class, humor, and a kind heart; you should choose Tom. Thanks, Tom!

Great choice!
We hired Rev Tom for our July wedding and he was great. I love that he does not use any papers or books and speaks from memory the whole time. It made our ceremony much more personal and like he had known us for a long time. When people asked where I found him and I told them "the internet" most people were so surprised! Rev. Tom is now a household name for us. He officiated my brother's wedding a few years back and recently officiated mine. He is familiar with different wedding traditions and even showed us a list of what we could include in the ceremony. When I brought up my preference to add the Filipino ways in our ceremony, he was all in and had a very comprehensive and easy to understand explanation of the each step. With these, even those not familiar with the tradition appreciated what was happening - like the coins, veil and cord. We are very grateful for this. Our wedding ceremony was so meaningful with how Rev. Tom lead it.

The only wedding officiant you should consider
We chose Rev. Tom to be our wedding officiant after viewing his webpage and seeing videos of weddings he has conducted previously and we immediately felt a personal connection to him. We met with Rev. Tom a month prior to our wedding date to go over our wishes for the ceremony and he gave his input as well. The meeting was great because we felt as if we were listened to and he genuinely cares about what we wanted and how much it meant to us. About a week after our meeting, he emailed us a detailed breakdown of how the ceremony would go and in the order it would occur. We also had the option to make any adjustments that we wanted as he is extremely opened to any kind of ceremony (we did not want any mention of god and he was supportive of our wishes). On the day of our wedding, he was punctual to our location along the Chicago River (he was there before we even arrived). The ceremony was conducted exactly to what was discussed and planned and our families loved his personal touch and professionalism to our ceremony. It made already a memorable day even better. If you choose anyone but Rev. Tom, you will regret it.

Winter Wedding at Hotel Baker
Tom performed the ceremony for our wedding at Hotel Baker on Dec 29, 2018. Could not have been more happy with how everything went! Had about 20 or so guests asking me who he was and where we found him; everyone was really appreciative of how he carried himself and how relaxed yet dignified the whole ceremony was. You only get one chance to make the right decision on an officiant, and it was a great feeling to know that we made the right one!

He’s not just in it for money. He doesn’t read from a book at the ceremony so it’s not scripted! He even steps to the side when you say your vows so the moment is really between you and your spouse! What’s even better is the photographer then captures that moment of just you two without anyone in the background! Reverend Tom was incredible and we couldn’t be happier! Thank you again for making our day even more magical!

Tom officiated our wedding in August 2018, and we were very pleased with his ceremony, professionalism, and service. We couldn't have been more pleased with the ceremony! We expressed to Tom how we wanted a casual ceremony with a prayer and some religion mixed in, and he delivered. The ceremony was beautifully done, and right around 25 mins. Our guests raved about the ceremony. Tom is an excellent speaker and officiant, and i would highly recommend his services to anyone.

Rev Thomas was wonderful! We hired him from out of state and didn't meet him until the rehersal. We communicated via telephone and email, and he was very responsive and informative. We liked his personality right away and knew he was the one for us. Rehersal was organized and the ceremony went smoothly. It was a bit longer than expected and it was a very very hot and humid day, so I the only thing I would say is that I wish he had gone faster or organized a signal to wrap it up. He was lighthearted and made appropriate jokes. Overall great experience!

I can't say enough about Rev.Tom exceptional effort to make our ceremony meaningful, fun, and memorable. I was very apprehensive about hiring a professional minister but Rev.Tom has changed my view about that. He was very responsive and provided such invaluable guidance in helping us have a great ceremony.All the guests we spoke were so impressed with his quality of service.. absolutely reverent and cool. My husband and I hired Rev Tom for our wedding last month and he was great! Rev Tom had many different options for our ceremony including different religious or nonreligious elements as well as various readings to choose from (with the option to customize to fit our needs). We really liked that Rev Tom provided the option to include some lighthearted humor in our ceremony, as a 100% serious ceremony does not fit me and my husbands' personalities. Rev Tom flawlessly mixed in a little humor without taking away from the important meaningful elements of the ceremony. Our ceremony was amazing, Rev Tom is a great speaker and the messages he gives come from the heart. Highly recommend!

Rev Tom's ceremony was so inspiring and engaging, we can't recommend him enough! Rev. Tom spoke candidly and sincerely about the many seasons of a marriage in realistic and tender terms. Sooo many of our guests approached us after the ceremony to tell us how much they identified with every word of our ceremony and how much they enjoyed listening, that it wasn't a boring ceremony like so many other weddings they'd attended. This was feedback from guests married for a few years to over 40 years! Rev. Tom was very approachable during our consultation and went over all the steps of the ceremony in detail to put us at ease. Rev. Tom was a joy to work with! When we first met him, we sat and chatted for 2 hours! We knew right away that we wanted him to officiate our ceremony. He gave us so much good information when we first met with him--it was very detailed and explicit. He showed us videos of the weddings he's performed as well as gave us a checklist to detail out exactly what we wanted our ceremony to look like. We were able to email, call or text him whenever we needed. He also gave us several samples of readings to choose from and passages he could use in his ceremony.
One of the things we loved most about him--he MEMORIZES the entire ceremony as well as everyone's names!! It is truly incredible and personal. He is very purposeful with his placement during the ceremony which allows for perfect photos. He is happy to include whatever we wanted during the ceremony including humor. We loved that he included humor into our day--it made it so much more real and relevant to us and our guests. He was also extremely accommodating when I needed to make a last minute change to our rehearsal time.
He was on time and friendly and had a lot of fun with us during the rehearsal and the day of the wedding. He also submitted our marriage license on our behalf to the county for us.
I would definitely recommend Rev. Tom to anyone needing a Reverend for their wedding ceremony. You will not be disappointed!

Rev Tom was great. Our first meeting he took his time to get to know us and go over various options for the ceremony. He is very easy to talk to, very friendly and a good sense of humor. He can be humorous, which we liked, but on the day of the ceremony, he was completely rehearsed, extremely professional and delivered a great ceremony and made our guests actually enjoy the ceremony. My guests complimented us on how well he did and said it was the first time they had even laughed at a ceremony. Price wise, I would say he is about average compared to others we inquired with. Luckily, it was well worth it, we had to do very little preparation for our ceremony, he took over the rest. Highly recommend Reverend Tom!

My husband is the most challenging to convince spiritually but a few days after our wedding, he would remind me, "Rev Tom said this...said that..."

He patiently listened to me. He was attentive and gave me his time in working it out and gave me options to resolve it.

My wife was skeptical at first about choosing an officiant from an online source. Needless to say, we were extremely happy with our choice and couldn't have done better. We were surprised at the amount of time Rev. Perrucci took to get to know us as a couple and inquire about all aspects of our lives. More importantly, the time he spent with us did not feel forced and I believe it was the genuine love he has for what he does. Many individuals present at our wedding commented about the wonderful job he did and we have to agree. Due to our wedding ceremony being outside and rain coming inbound, we were forced to move inside and Rev. Perrucci adapted quickly, We feel blessed to have had the opportunity to have Rev. Perrucci at our wedding.
