    Wonderful experience

    Lynne was an amazing officiant! She met with us beforehand and went over all the particulars of the ceremony. She was extremely detailed and completely catered to our desires. She is very well spoken and a made the entire crowd lean into what she had to say. I would highly recommend Lynne to anyone.

    Perfect Ceremony

    Lynne sculpted our ceremony to match us which was perfect. Anything and everything was customizable and gave the perfect suggestions once getting to know us. Would absolutely recommend!

    Beautiful Ceremony

    Lynne crafted a beautiful ceremony for us! She met with us to get to know us before putting together a draft then we were allowed to tweak it and added more details to the final version. It was great and our families loved it. Lynne was also super flexible with our changes due to Covid. Thank you!

    Wonderful ceremony!

    Lynne met with my husband and I during covid via FaceTime. She wasn’t the first minister we talked to, so we were a little nervous. We were having a hard time finding a connection to someone. We talked to her for over an hour and felt a connection to her immediately! She’s kind, a great public speaker, and definitely has a beautiful relationship with God, which was very important to us.

    Lynne was fantastic

    We had a very difficult situation to work with -- our original officiant had to cancel and various rules and regulations surrounding COVID were in flux. We found Lynne through our wedding planner and she was able to officiate the wedding on a very tight timeline. Lynne was understanding and cooperative and helped make the day as great as it could be. We can't recommend Lynne enough!

    Highly Recommend!

    Rev Lynne took the time to interview us and write a very personal ceremony that described us perfectly. She Also has fun while helping our nerves during the entire process. Highly recommend her!

    Wonderful ☺️

    It was so much fun working with Rev. Lynne! Everything with Covid 19 made things more complicated, but she was super flexible and easy going with all the changes we had to make. She made the readings fun And personal and our family thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Great experience in unique situation

    Lynne was amazing from start to finish. She is a great woman of faith and I appreciated her insight as we wrote our ceremony. Lynne was always responsive and available and really took time with me and my husband to learn about our relationships, beliefs, and how we wanted to make our ceremony special. I have to commend her on her flexibility as well, as we had our wedding during the COVID-19 pandemic and ended up having our ceremony broadcast to our guests via Zoom completely changing our wedding to a simpler ceremony. She was supportive and professional and I would recommend her to anyone.

    Best Officiant in Town!

    Lynne is such an amazing officiant. Our ceremony was personalized and exactly what we wanted. All of our guest came up to us and said how perfect the ceremony was and how it was just us. Lynne will listen to what you want and make it happen. She was funny, and was amazing at directing us. My bridal party knew exactly what they needed to do after the rehearsal . Lynne is amazing and you will be so happy to have her as your officiant because we are extremely happy. We loved everything about our ceremony.

    Perfect Officiant for our Non-religious Ceremony

    We could not have asked for a better officiant for our wedding! We got so many compliments on how great she was and how great she did at personalizing our ceremony. She was funny and sincere, it was almost as if she had known us for years. She was so accommodating to all our wants and needs. I would recommend her to anyone!

    We were so incredibly lucky to have had Lynne officiate our wedding. She was more than our officiant, she helped guide us through. She is a wonderfully kind person and we will forever be grateful that she was part of our day!

    Our beach wedding

    Lynne did a amazing job on our very simple beach wedding she worked with us since our wedding date was moved due to a hurricane and couldn’t ask for anything any better. She was great.

    Joyous Beach Wedding

    We were planning a small, intimate wedding on the beach and really scored a home run when we found Lynne to officiate. She is incredibly kind and gracious and is very easy to work with, This was very important to us as we were planning from out of state. When we finally met in person, it was like reconnecting with an old friend. Our sincere thanks to Lynne for touching our hearts and souls with her presence and the beautiful words she chose just for us. It was a privilege to have Lynne perform our ceremony. Highly recommend!

    Breath taking

    A beautiful ceremony given by Rev. Lynne. Very prompt with emails and phone calls. Couldn't be more happier with the given ceremony. Memories to last a life time. Definitely would recommend.

    Easy to work with!

    Lynne was great to work with! She helped create the framework of our ceremony and we filled it in how we wanted. We were able to do our own vows and we loved that!

    Couldn't be happier!

    Rev. Lynne made our day super special! She really personalizes the ceremony to fit you and your partner. We actually had to move our wedding date 6 months out because of the hurricane, and she was so flexible to help us put all of the pieces back together when rescheduling. The guests at the ceremony even commented on how wonderful her words were! I would 100% recommend Lynne - a beautiful person all around.

    Best officiant!!!!

    Lynne is so great! I traveled from out of town and hired her. I’m so glad I did. I immediately connected to her! She’s so easy to talk to and gives great advice! She was so attentive and created beautiful ceremony vows for us. She even sent it to us ahead of time so we could review and make any changes we liked. She gave us ideas for personal vows and selected bible versus based off our meeting. She walked us through everything in so much detail during the rehersal. I felt so much more confident on the day of. She knew exactly how to lead us during the wedding. I would highly recommend her as your wedding officiant! She’s really wonderful.

    Lynne was wonderful to work with. She took the time to talk with us and get to know us and our history to be able to create a personalized ceremony that was unique and perfect. We were located out of town and she made communicating with her easy and simple. She even took care of taking the wedding license back to the Register of Deeds for us.

    Lynne was very helpful in preparing our wedding vows, she also talked with us individually in depth to learn about each of us. The ceremony was so personal and we felt like she was a long time friend. As believers in Christ, she was a perfect choice.

    Lynne’s participation in our ceremony made our wedding day so very special. From the beginning, Lynne got to know both of us & made us comfortable sharing our love story. She did a wonderful job incorporating our spiritual beliefs & personalities into a ceremony—making it feel more like a story than a script.     Lynne was an excellent officiant for our ceremony on Wrightsville Beach! She was super responsive and worked with our vision for the ceremony with such ease. Her speaking Greek was quite helpful too since we wanted to incorporate some Greek traditions into our ceremony as well. Would surely recommend her to others looking for an officiant in and outside the Wilmington area :)

    Our Swedish relatives surprised us when they arrived at our home. They had prepared all the papers and they wanted to get married here, on the beach within the next week. Rev. Lynne Glares came highly recommended so we were ecstatic when she promptly returned our call and fit us into her busy schedule. The ceremony was beautiful. She captured their personalities perfectly. I am deeply grateful for her talent to give the couple just what they ask for, whether big or small.

    Reverend Lynne Glaros was a pleasure to work with for our destination wedding. Even though we didn't meet in person until the day of our wedding, we felt like we knew each other well from our phone calls. She personalized our vows to include little details of how my husband and I met. I would highly recommend Lynne as a wedding officiant. Unlike others in the Wilmington area, she only books one wedding in a day so there's no need to worry.

    Rev. Glaros is an amazing officiant. She is very kind, patient, and personable. She took the time to get to know my husband and I as individuals and as a couple. I was exceptionally nervous and she helped to calm me and prayed with me. The service ( which we had her choose/write) itself was especially moving. All of our parents commented that it was one of the most beautiful services they had heard. She wove precious pieces of our love story throughout the ceremony and spoke about us like she had known us our whole lives. It was such a special moment and I honestly can't imagine the day without her. My husband, myself, and our families would most highly recommend Rev. Glaros. She has a beautiful kind spirit and is full of nothing but love.

    To couples who desire the beauty of Wilmington NC as the back drop for the first day of your new life together, Rev. Lynne Glaros is a MUST have. During our very first conversation I knew Lynne would be our minister. With in a few moments we were laughing and sharing our special story. Lynne, took time to listen and take notes. She was patient and kind. With only three months to plan an oceanfront wedding, Lynne offered ideas and suggestions that would fit our desires and personality. Lynne, became part of our family. She made her self accessible and was an active member in every detail. We wrote wedding vowels, discussed flowers, food, decorations, setting arrangements and the most important to us our first prayer. We never felt left in the dark. We had complete confidence and trust in Rev. Lynne Glaros experience and honesty. With sincere gratitude My Husband and I feel very blessed to have Lynne, as part of our special day.

    Lynne is the most kind, supportive and awesome lady! She married me and my husband and was so responsive and easy to talk to over phone or email. We met with her once during the process and it was so nice to spend a few hours with her. She really incorporated how we felt about each other and made our ceremony so special. She really cares and her prayers meant everything to us during this time in our lives that can sometimes be stressful. I would highly recommend her to handle your special day. Such a genuine person and we are so happy to have met her.

    Lynne was amazing. She spent so much time with us before the actual wedding date to help us in areas we didn't expect from an officiant. We talked on the phone for about an hour and a half one day, and she just wanted to hear all about how Jason and I met, what we loved about each other, and how we wanted our wedding ceremony to go. On the day of our wedding, she was so great at making sure not only us, but our families felt comfortable and calm during the pre-ceremony. During the ceremony, when Jason or I started to feel a little nervous, she would crack a joke and made us more comfortable. Overall, I would definitely recommend Lynne for anyone getting married in the Wilmington area. She worked so well with our other vendors and the event went off without any problems.

    Lynne was wonderful in every way! As soon as we met with her we knew she was the one we wanted to marry us. She was sweet and truly interested in our story and getting to know us. That way, she was able to write a beautiful ceremony with personal touches about ourselves. She was easy to get in contact with, she sent us a draft of our ceremony very early on and allowed us to make any and all changes we wanted to. She performed a beautiful heartfelt ceremony but knew when to add a little light humor in there to keep the atmosphere we wanted. She was just perfect! She came to our rehearsal and really helped us and the bridal party understand what was going to happen and what we all needed to do. She also filed our marriage certificate on her own the very next day. Would not change anything about her!

    We found Lynne approximately 3 weeks before our wedding, although that is a VERY close time to someone's wedding day, she had everything under control! She wanted to get to know us and about our families. She is very easy to talk to. I believe the first day we got to chat we spoke for a total of 3hrs (phone tag between errands!) - she is a great person to talk to. She listens, asks the right questions and she has great advice. Lynne and I would laugh during our chats. I can honestly say I would use her as a counselor in my marriage. My husband and I really enjoyed her company and how she wrote our vows! It fit perfectly and was a great way to describe us.

    This was an amazing experience !!! Lynne Glaros was absolutely amazing . I would highly recommend her! She actually took time during our ceremony and didn't rush through it. AMAZING LADY!!!!!!

    Lynn took the time to learn about each of us to make our wedding on the beach very memorable. It was important to find someone that could add to the ceremony since we were from out of town. She made us feel like we knew her our whole life. She was a joy to work with and very flexible. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

    We were happy to be referred to Reverend Lynne Glaros! We had a few custom requests and she worked with is to help deliver just the type of ceremony we were looking for. She spent time getting to know us a bit and added some nice personal touches into our big day.

    From start to finish, we could not have asked for more from Lynne. As soon as we met with her, we knew she had to be there to be our officiant on the big day. She worked with us closely and never worried how often we need to touch base or change things up. She did not keep track of how many times we may need to ask a question. She was professional in her responses and her timing. She has an amazing calming presence that helped us during the planning process and also the big day! I could not have asked for more from her once it was time for the ceremony! Our ceremony was beautiful - she had taken into account everything we asked for and made it personal to us. Our guests said she was great and thought she truly contributed to the elegance but also fun ceremony! She helped us show our love for one another and not once had an agenda of her own. She made us confident in the marriage license process as well and walked us through it.

    Lynne was absolutely outstanding. We are so happy that she was a part of our wedding day. Throughout the whole process she was incredibly flexible with what we wanted, and very attentive to my parents and our family. She was professional and thoughtful and brought a really wonderful feeling for the entire day.

    Working with Lynne was such a great experience. I would recommend anyone getting married in the Wilmington area to work with Lynne.

    I got Lynne's contact information from the preferred vendor list at 128South. Since I am not from Wilmington originally, I did not have a relationship with a church in the area. Lynne was not only quick to respond but she was also sincerely interested in my life, how I met my husband and our intentions of marriage. The first time I "met" her was via a phone call and I talked to her for over two hours and the conversation was so great. It was like I had known her my whole life. She's very easy to open up to and confide in.

    When it came to our ceremony, my husband and I said probably 100 times "short but sweet." Lynne wrote just that. She made our ceremony personal, about us, but keeping the traditional feel. She met with us and went over the entire ceremony and also had great suggestions about the day itself. It's always great to hear someone's opinion that has experienced multiple weddings when you are planning your own. Her advice really helped.

    I really wanted my sister in law's to read in the wedding so they could be a part of the ceremony. When I mentioned this to Lynne she was quick to give me some suggested readings. I had looked a LOT of different places for other readings as well but her's were just so "us." It's like she knew exactly who we were and found something that matched our personality and lives together.

    I cannot thank her enough for being apart of the most important day of my life and the part she played in it. She is a person you want to have in your life, even after getting married.

    While planning my wedding, I contacted several officiants. Lynne was the first I spoke with over the phone and I felt an immediate connection with her! She asked a lot of questions and wanted to know all about my and my husband's love story. She was interested, she cared, she was perfect! I was lost in planning my wedding and everything related to it and she always offered helpful suggestions. She promptly responded to my emails and we met for coffee to finalize the ceremony. She was very thorough and paid attention to every detail. It took everything I had not to cry and ruin my makeup on my wedding day. Her words spoke to the heart of my husband and I. Our family even commented on how wonderful she was and how special the ceremony was. When you get one chance to get it right, my husband and I are glad we chose Lynne.

    Lynne was very flexible and accommodating from the very beginning. She let us customize our ceremony and embraced our requests. She was a great resource for vendor referrals and tips for a smooth and successful wedding day. We contacted her only 3 weeks before our wedding date and she did an amazing job on very short notice. Three days before the wedding we had to completely change the location due to weather. Lynne rolled with it and helped us pull off a beautiful ceremony! She was positive and supportive throughout the entire planning process and the ceremony itself. She was a true blessing to us.

    Lynn was a wonderful Officiant. She made a point to get to know each of us and to personalize the ceremony. Lynn was warm and spoke beautifully. All of our guests complimented her and raved on how wonderful the ceremony was performed. I would recommend her to anyone looking to have a beautiful wedding.

    Lynne was a last minute decision for us but came highly recommended. She was very quick to respond and help me make decisions during a very stressful/hectic part of my wedding planning. We not only appreciated her services but actually enjoyed her company through-out the rehearsal and ceremony. I would recommend over and over again :)

    Lynne is the kind of person that can instantly connect with anyone because of her sweet, supportive nature. She genuinely cares about getting to know the couple and the time that she took to individually talk to my husband and I can attest to that. Lynne used our conversations to write us a beautiful ceremony that was very meaningful and made us all laugh. During this crazy time, she was there every step of the way helping us, to make sure our day went flawlessly. She even went with me to pick up the certified copies of our marriage license afterwards. She was also always available to answer any questions I had. She absolutely went above and beyond what we expected and we are so grateful she was there to not only officiate our wedding, but make it that much more special.

    Lynn came on very short notice to perform our wedding. It was simple and sweet but very meaningfull because of Lynn. She very quickly got to know the aspects of our relationship and the reason for our desire to get married. As asked, Lynn without hesitation removed her shoes and stood in the ocean with us to perform the very special ceremony that she had personally prepared for us.

    Lynne was excellent to work with, and we are so happy we chose her as our Officiant for our wedding. She listened to everything we wanted to include in our vows, and helped customize everything to fit our interests and backgrounds perfectly. She was very thorough in our meetings and checked in continuously via email throughout our planning months to see how everything was going, and if we had any questions for her. She was very professional throughout the whole process, and was very helpful at the rehearsal and actual wedding day ceremony.     When my now-husband and I decided that we were not going to get married in a church, to much of my Catholic family's dismay, I was at a loss of wondering who was going to marry us and get to know us, for who we truly are? Rev. Lynne was a blessing sent from above to us and was the answer to my prayers for the perfect officiant to fit our needs in our ceremony, helping us make every single detail a dream come true! When we first met Lynne, it was like we knew her forever! We kept in contact with her various times throughout the engagement, as she was there for me through many tough times with family and friends during the wedding planning process and I knew she was more than just an officiant, she was like a member of our family! I told her exactly how I envisioned the ceremony and she eagerly put every detail into action, making it completely unique to us as a couple. It was sentimental, sweet, full of laughs....everyone keeps commenting to us what a wonderfully fun and enjoyable ceremony it was, and it truly exceeded my expectations in every way. We adore Lynne and can't wait to have her around for future milestones!

    We really appreciate the time Lynne spent with us and her flexibility as she helped personalize our wedding day. My husband and I wanted to be respectful of our guests' range of beliefs while including our relationship with God in our ceremony- Lynne was able to balance our request for generalism while weaving personalized details into a seamless ceremony.     From our first meeting to the filing of our marriage documents, Lynne went above and beyond my expectations as our officiant. She is a truly caring and compassionate person and it shined through in every interaction we had. She took the time to really get to know us and how we came to be engaged. We wrote our own vows and she helped us work through the process so that everything came out perfectly on our big day. She even cared enough to consult me about her wardrobe for the day of our wedding so that she did not clash with my wedding colors. She is a beautiful person, gave a beautiful sermon, and helped make our wedding a beautiful day!

    I would highly recommend Rev. Lynne Glaros to brides in the Wilmington area. My husband and I were seeking a nondenominational minister to conduct our ceremony. During our search, Lynne was clearly the kindest, most responsive, most excited candidate. I met with her several months prior to the wedding and she offered me some counsel and prayer than I desperately needed as I dealt the knowledge that one of my parents would be absent on our wedding day. Her words allowed me to let go of that pain and move toward our wedding day with a clear heart and mind. I couldn't place a high enough value on her friendship, kindness, and professionalism. I had a great experience working with Lynne and I'd highly recommend her.

    Lynne was great to work with and was happy to have her as the officiant at our wedding. Lynne was very flexible and adapting the ceremony and keeping it very short and simple as requested. Lynne was easy to talk to and really made an effort to make our day special.
