Rev. Kathi Moon made our wedding ceremony at the Umstead, Cary, NC everything we dreamed of and more! From the very beginning, she was incredibly kind, warm, and easy to work with. She guided us through the planning process with so much care, making everything feel smooth and stress-free. My husband (hehe now I can say that) is more spiritual in his beliefs and I was raised super Catholic but Rev. Kathi Moon helped us to really find the perfect balance we were looking for in a ceremony: romantic, concise, poetic, spiritual and beautiful! She was incredibly willing to incorporate all our ideas, ensuring that the ceremony truly reflected who we are as a couple. And she was super great about us incorporating our doggie into the ceremony - a huge must for me - the bride :)
If you're searching for an officiant who listens, cares, and delivers a heartfelt and personalized experience, I can’t recommend Rev. Kathi Moon enough. She’s simply wonderful! :)Rev. Kathi Moon's reply:

Rev Kathi was the best officiant my husband & I could have asked for. She met with us a few times throughout the process, not just to guide us through the wedding process but also got to know us. She was professional and prepared for both the rehearsal and day of. Although Rev Kathi was great throughout the entire process, her story-telling ability during our ceremony was phenomenal. Dr. Kathi Moon delivered a beautiful ceremony for our small backyard wedding. It was so easy to communicate with her and she met with us beforehand to make sure that it would be just right. Rev. Kathi did a wonderful job officiating our wedding. She was proactive and responsive during our communication leading up to the wedding. She came to the ceremony early to get everything situated on her end. She handled the marriage license submission for us and made sure our witnesses signed it as well. Reverend Moon did a fantastic job helping my fiancé and me plan for our wedding ceremony! She gave us plenty of options so we were able to create a ceremony that reflected who we both are as people. I had so many guests come up to us during the reception and tell us how beautiful and unique the ceremony was! They loved how it wasn't cookie cutter and the ceremony even had some of my most stoic guests crying. She did a wonderful job!!!

Kathi Moon was hands down the best officiant for our wedding. My husband and I both have never been to a wedding and didn’t really know what all a ceremony would entail. Kathi helped us understand exactly how a traditional ceremony is and then discussed every little detail with us, so we were able to customize and change things exactly for our wedding. We felt very cared about and we weren’t nervous at all thanks to Kathi. Kathi is very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. We had a perfect ceremony that was light and formal, with humor, and many sentiments that Kathi executed with ease. We would absolutely recommend her to any friends and family. Rev. Kathi Moon did an amazing job with our wedding ceremony at the Cotton Room on Oct 2nd, 2021. She had a very structured approach to crafting our ceremony and it allowed a lot of input into making the ceremony unique to us. The most unique portion of the ceremony is the “Love Story” that Rev. Kathi crafts from questions we answered about our relationship. There were questions that we answered together as a couple but there were also questions that each of us answered individually and sent to Rev. Kathi in confidence. These “secret” answers were then revealed during the “Love Story” portion of the ceremony. It was very emotional to hear the story of our relationship being told and to also hear for the first time what the other person had written about a special moment in our relationship. Laughter and tears! Our guests made compliments that the ceremony was one of the most personal ones they had ever heard. Rev. Kathi was also very accommodating on our request to incorporate elements from both of our cultures/backgrounds into the ceremony. She was able to perform a jai mala ritual along with a unity candle ceremony. This made for a unique fusion of both of our cultures. Overall, we would highly recommended Rev. Kathi as an officiant. We worked with Reverend Kathi for our recent wedding and she did an absolutely incredible job! We were originally supposed to get married in April 2020 and she was so supportive through our two postponements due to COVID. Our ceremony was very personal as if she had known us for years and she worked with us to customize each part to our liking. We were so happy with how it turned out and it was truly perfect!Rev. Reverend Kathi was great to work with! She worked with our crazy schedule and rescheduled easily when something came up. She is super nice and easy to talk to. Going through the marriage counseling with her definitely is something I suggest to do with her. All of the activities she had us do really opened our eyes to things and she helped guide us through areas we were unsure about. On the day of, she was nothing short but amazing! Rev. Kathi Is Your Friend And Guide
Reverend Kathi was an absolute joy to work with. She helped provide a ceremony that was worth it. We chose to have a customized experience with her and though we hadn't known her prior, she felt like an old friend with the way she pulled the ceremony together. We video chatted and emailed due to distance and COVID. Nothing was left out. She missed nothing. She helped us prepare secret love stories that no one had heard until the day of our wedding. When the day came, she was thoroughly prepared and helped guide us through the nerves and emotions with love and grace.
We couldn't recommend Rev. Kathi more highly! If you want a lovely person performing your special moment then she's the one to go to.Rev. Kathi Moon's reply:

Rev. Kathi Moon is lovely! Personal and unique ceremony
We are so glad that Rev. Kathi Moon was part of our special day. We chose to do premarital counseling sessions with her, which allowed us all to get to know each other prior to the ceremony. This itself was very helpful for my husband and I to come even closer and feel like we had tools we could rely on later on in life, when we will undoubtedly encounter challenges (we kept our workbook and will refer to it if we ever hit a rough spot where we need resources). It was so nice to have an officiant we felt knew us and cared for us, and not a stranger. We do not belong to a church and did not want a religious service. Kathi was very understanding of that in both our premarital sessions and ceremony. People were wowed by our personalized ceremony, that shared information about how we met and what we loved about each other. We initially thought we would write our own vows (for personalization) but quickly realized this would be much less stressful and still very unique and special. Working with Kathi was stress free and meaningful. It felt great to know that she truly wanted the best for us and created such a warm and intimate ceremony for us and our loved ones. Samantha Sent on 01/28/2018Rev. Kathi was great! She was able to meet with us via face time since our wedding was out of state to make sure it was just what we pictured. She provided us with many options for the ceremony since we wanted to include our parents/families and children. She even created a new part to her script for our sand ceremony with the kids. She was on time and well prepared. She led us through the paperwork process so we did not have any additional stress. We couldn't have asked for a better person to preform our ceremony; all of the guest spoke very highly of her during the reception. She even was so kind to ask to see pictures after the wedding because she such a part of our big day.

I contacted Reverand Kathi and she got back to us quickly and assured us that everything would be ok. It was better than ok. She was wonderful ! We talked on the phone and she helped us construct our ceremony and vows exactly to our wants and needs. Reverand Kathi was professional, helpful, organized, warm and very soothing. Rev. Kathi did an amazing job officiating our ceremony! We got in contact with Rev. Kathi a little late in the game but got so lucky when she happened to have our date available. She was very responsive and we really liked her organized and structured approach to the ceremony. Rev. Kathi gave us lots of room to make our ceremony unique to us and our relationship.
