    Best last minute decision we made

    After having a mix up with the officiant we had, our wedding planner recommended Rev. Jarrett 3 weeks before our wedding date. He was quick with his responses and was able to meet with us on such short notice. But that’s just the beginning of our amazing experience with him! He really made our ceremony so special and molded it to our personalities and needs. Watching our video now, his voice and his wording was beyond perfect. I can’t imagine that anyone else could have done such a spectacular job. Thank you so much Rev. Jarrett Johnson, it was a short relationship but one we’ll cherish forever!

    Fantastic Officiant

    Working with Jarret was fantastic. He was very easy to get along with and really wanted to create the best ceremony for me and my husband. He was also very helpful with the marriage license. Jarret did an amazing job officiating the wedding, and we received so many compliments on the ceremony because of him.

    Exactly What We Were Looking For

    I cannot say enough about how great Jarret was at our ceremony. We received compliments from many guests asking how long we knew him. My husband and I didn’t have the chance to meet Jarret in person before our wedding but he put together a beautiful ceremony that fit our personalities. I would recommend him for any couple!

    Intimate wedding with personal ceremony

    Jarret officiated our small, intimate backyard wedding (given the pandemic). We wanted someone who lived nearby in NJ who could help us create a memorable ceremony featuring some of our favorite things. Jarret was easy to talk to and quick to respond to our questions. He was very professional and personable, and he was flexible given so many unpredictable variables (COVID, November weather, etc). Our families loved the ceremony and thought he was a fantastic speaker. We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend Jarret!

    Bragen-Avogardo Wedding 11/16/19

    We could not be happier with our experience with Jarret as our wedding officiant. From start to finish he was so easy to work with. Jarret is so easy going and made us feel so comfortable with the process of planning a wedding ceremony. He came to our first meet-up so prepared with a ceremony draft in hand for us to look over with several options for different readings, and told us he could accommodate any additions or changes we wanted to make. We added in a unity candle ceremony and he made it all flow perfectly. Jarret is so personable and confident, and we received countless compliments on our ceremony afterward. People kept asking us how we knew him, and they were so surprised to find out that we had found him on Wedding Wire because they thought he was a family friend! I would recommend Jarret to everyone I know for their wedding ceremony!

    Jarret exuded cool and relaxing vibes from the moment we first met with him. Throughout the entire process, he always made sure to remind us that the ceremony was about us, and to keep the focus on us. We are big fans of the Avett Brothers, and Jarret went above and beyond to incorporate some of our favorite lyrics into the ceremony readings. On the day of, his relaxing and cool demeanor helped us relax and concentrate on each other throughout the ceremony. We could tell he was genuine happy for us and we appreciate all his help with everything leading up to our big day. Our ceremony was perfect and we will always remember that way thanks to him

    Very professional, friendly, and amazing officiant

    We found Jarrett through our venue as he is one of their recommended vendors and I definitely would recommend Jarret as well to anyone who is looking to get married. Jarret was extremely helpful in writing and planning out the ceremony. He was always responsive to questions. We received many compliments from our guests as well of how well of a job Jarret did in officiating our wedding. I would highly recommend him for your wedding as well.

    Rev. Jarett Johnson: There is no better choice

    What can I say. Rev. Johnson was perfect. Beyond perfect. A total pro. Made it easy. He's incredibly cool and personable. My favorite thing was after the ceremony, the way he just fell in with my family like he'd known everyone for years. My 84 year-old aunt absolutely loved him.

    Great experience

    As soon as I met Jarret I knew he was the right person to officiate our wedding. He was cool, calm, laid back, personable etc etc. Badically everything I was looking for.
    My husband and I are shy and wanted to say as little as possible during the ceremony and he was super accomadating. I got a ton of compliments about him and I honestly could not have asked for a better officiant. I would recommend him to anyone! I will definately use him for my second marriage too!! (Jk) Thanks so much Jarret!!!!

    Fantastic experience!

    Jarret was awesome! Super friendly, professional, and gets back to you right away. The ceremony he did for us was perfect! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs an officiant for their wedding!

    Rev. Jarret is the best!!!

    Rev. Jarret was the perfect fit for our wedding. He was incredibly thoughtful, patient, and easy to work with. My fiancé and I actually wanted to change one of the readings last second and Jarret couldn’t have been any more accommodating. I would highly recommend Rev. Jarret to anyone looking for a perfect officiant.

    Reverend Jarret Johnson did an amazing job! He listened to what we wanted to include in our ceremony to customize a ceremony for us and then gave us the flexibility to revise it even further. He was responsive, prompt and very accommodating in preparing for the ceremony, on the day of and even afterwards. And there wasn’t a dry eye in the chapel so the ceremony definitely touched everyone. Jarret was a pleasure to work with and highly recommended!

    Jarret was amazing throughout the entire process. We met with multiple officiants, and as soon as we met Jarret, we knew he was the perfect match for us to work with. He is very outgoing, laid back, and helpful. He helped customize a ceremony exactly how we wanted, and helped recommend and pick out readings to include. We also wrote personal vows to read to each other during our first look and Jarret proofread each to make sure our styles and length were similar.

    Jarret also guided us through the marriage license process and took care of all of the followup paperwork.

    Day of the wedding, he showed up early to ensure everything was in place and ready to go. He met with each of us to go over the timeline one last time. The delivery of the ceremony was perfect and we got multiple compliments on how touching the readings were and how Jarret's personality mirrored ours. He was great to work with and we are so glad we had him perform our ceremony.

    It was a pleasure working with Jarret! I live in Minnesota but got married in New Jersey, because I was planning from a far distance responsiveness was really important to me. Jarret was always super responsive and set up a few phone calls with us to understand what we were looking for in our ceremony. He always made us feel at ease and made the whole process really enjoyable. Would definitely highly recommend Jarret, you won't be disappointed.

    Jarret is the best! I found Jarret on Weddingwire and contacted him to get some information. After my husband and I met with him, we knew he would be the one to officiate our ceremony! Jarret responded promptly to my millions of emails and texts and it never seemed like I was bothering him. He gave us a sample ceremony with suggested readings which made the whole ceremony planning process so much easier. Jarret even added a quote we liked and the breaking of the glass to personalize the ceremony.

    I definitely recommend using Rev Jarret Johnson. He was very supportive through the whole planning process and is so great that he seems like an old friend rather than a wedding vendor!

    Working with Jarret was great. His wedding service was beautiful and he worked with us beforehand to personalize readings, acknowledgments, etc. He was great in following up with us on details and made sure that the administrative side was taken care of at city hall.

    Rev. Jarret was great. My fiancée and I had met with a few Officiants before deciding on Rev. Jarret and we are sure glad that we did. Rev. Jarret made not only us but our wedding guests feel at ease with his warmth. He is very easy to deal with and extremely responsive. He offers suggestions for vows and readings, however is extremely flexible and a pleasure to deal with. After our ceremony , he followed up with us about getting our marriage license and took care of filing the paperwork.     He made everything very easy. Was always available for questions. Help bring our vision for the ceremony into a reality.     Within a few minutes of talking with Jarret we knew we found the person we wanted to perform our wedding ceremony. Aside from his friendly and easy to get along with personality he was very professional and knowledgeable. He was always available to answer our questions and go over anything we might of had to discuss with him and never made any question or concern seem silly or unimportant. We simply couldn't say enough about how wonderful he is and honestly couldn't have chosen a better person to take part in such an important day in our lives.

    Ray and I cannot express how amazing our Ceremony was. Jarret was recommended from my brother. I spoke with him many of times on the phone and explained everything we wanted. He not only gave us what we wanted but added to the ceremony a very special touch. We would and will recommend him to everyone we know that is in need of a Rev.     Where do I begin? Jarret was amazing! He was So helpful in our wedding planning and made the process simple and stress free. He truly cares about your big day as much as you do and does everything in his power to make sure everything runs calmly and smoothly.
    The ceremony itself was perfection. Jarret helped us select the readings and engaged our guests with thoughtful greetings and insights. Not to mention he has a great clear speaking voice! I can honestly say we had many guests ask about our officiant and raved about the job he did - people kept saying it was perfectly us! He was a perfect guide through the most special moment of our lives. Thank you again Jarret!

    If you are looking for an Officiant Jarret is the guy for you! We were looking for a simple, sweet & sentimental ceremony and that is exactly what we got. We booked Jarret a month before our wedding. He was very easy to communicate with via phone, email & text. He is very well spoken and we had so many wedding guests rave about how great he was.     Rev Jared performed our outside ceremony at the Gramercy in Hazlet, NJ. He was great to work with. Easy going and professional. He met with us to get a better idea of what we wanted. We used his sample ceremony and made a couple minor tweaks to it. The ceremony went well. He's a great public speaker. Would definitely recommend him.

    Jarret performed our wedding ceremony for us at The Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel. Words can not describe how amazing Jarret is! Jarret was a pleasure to work with from the first time we met him. We had met with a few other wedding officiants and the second we sat down with Jarret we knew he was the one we wanted to perform our ceremony. He was very easy going and relaxed while also being on top of everything and helping us to personalize our ceremony to be exactly what we were looking for. He put us at ease and walked us through exactly what to expect the day of the wedding. He also did a rehearsal with us the day before the wedding putting our bridal party and parents at ease for what was expected of them. On the day of the wedding Jarret's friendly and calming personality made my husband and I relaxed and able to truly enjoy the moment. All of our guests raved about how great Jarret was and how impressed they were with the ceremony. We highly recommend! Nicole & Matt

    Rev. Johnson was absolutely wonderful as our Officiant on our wedding day (10/22/16) From the start, he listened to everything we asked for. We wanted a short, laid back ceremony and it was exactly what he provided. He was always quick to respond to email and texts. He was down to earth and really made us feel comfortable from start to finish. After meeting with us, he picked readings for the ceremony that fit the type of people we are and he added some custom things that we wanted to be said. Rev. Johnson truly made our wedding day the happiest day of our lives!

    From the first contact working with Jarret was a pleasure! Our wedding plans completely changed after I first contacted him and he was completely flexible and easy to work with. We could not have been happier with the final outcome of the ceremony and I would recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant!

    Jarret was so wonderful to work with - he helped make our unusual surprise vow renewal an incredible success. He took the time to learn about the couple, had great ideas that we incorporated and was spot on with the service. He was prepared and it showed. It was just what we wanted, there were tears and laughter and it was a very touching service. Jarret was a pleasure to work with and very thoughtful and flexible. I honestly couldn't have asked for anything more. He was all around a great guy and I am so glad that all of our friends and family got to meet him and spend a little time with him as well.

    Rev. Jarret Johnson was absolutely amazing! He was flexible when we needed to adjust our interview several times due to our work schedule. He also was down to earth, easy to speak with, and just made our day that much more special. He sent me a draft of his proposed ceremony we made a few adjustments and he delivered a perfect ceremony for us! I definitely would recommend Rev. Jarret Johnson no question!!!!!!     Jarret was amazing! He always got back to my emails/texts very fast. He was organized and always answered my questions. He even met with my husband and I an extra time (free of charge) to make sure I felt comfortable with everything. On the day of our wedding, he arrived early to ensure everything was running smoothly for us. He also continued to help me after our wedding date, when I had questions about getting our marriage certificate. I highly recommend him!

    We had a non-denominational ceremony where we wanted to keep it short and sweet. Jarret was very professional from the beginning - we met up initially to talk about what we were looking for and what he had to offer. He brought a questionnaire to learn a little more about us, and some sample outlines of programs he's done in the past. We mainly kept in touch the months leading up to the wedding via email, and his suggestions and responses were always prompt. On the wedding day, the ceremony went smoothly as can be and he even "saved" my brother (who was reading a poem) by re-gathering his composure after he started crying. Overall, he was perfect for what we needed. We had our marriage papers signed beforehand (in NYC) so he did not arrange this, although he was well versed in NJ marriage procedures. If we were to do it again, we'd probably pay for him to come to the rehearsal run-through, but that is no fault of his!

    I couldn't have been happier. Through the whole process Jarret helped me out. Kept in touch with me until the day of the Wedding regarding the license, any questions and was just there to keep my mind at ease. Jarret was amazing. The ceremony was beautiful, and just perfect...everyone was impressed with him. All my guests asked about him and wanted to know how I found him because they all thought he was the nicest guy and did a beautiful ceremony. I truly feel as though my day would not have been as perfect if we choose someone else to perform the ceremony.... Thank you so much Jarret.

    When I first contacted Rev. Johnson he responded right away. He worked with us and delivered the perfect ceremony. He spoke clearly, loudly and had great enthusiasm. We did not want a long ceremony and we did not want a religious ceremony. It was very easy to work with Rev. Johnson in creating the pefect fit for us. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a wedding offiant.

    Rev. Jarret is the best! He made our wedding ceremony so personal and heartfelt for my husband and I. We wanted to write our own vows and with the help of Rev. Jarret we created the perfect ceremony. Rev. Jarret was available whenever I called or emailed him. Couldn't have asked for a better officiant for our wedding. Highly recommended!

    We were married in June, and Rev. Johnson was our officiant. He was very easy to deal with and we could not have been happier with how he made our ceremony so special and personal. He went above and beyond our expectations.
