Creating joy and celebrating love

The Reverend Elizabeth McGlinn made our celebration of love perfect. Her meticulous planning ensured that we were actively involved in all the aspects of the service. She respects and values input, making suggestions to enhance such a memorious occasion.
She blessed the celebration of our love not only with a beautifully presented service but also with her genuine smile but also very twinkling eyes! She expressed happiness and joy as we made our marriage vows. She really made our special day a special day!

Best Officiant!

We are so glad we hired an officiant for our ceremony. In addition to being extremely professional and responsive, Elizabeth is so warm/kind. She curated the ceremony of our dreams and even gave us a printed copy of it for us to keep. Thank you, Elizabeth!

Wonderful Sunrise Beach Elopement

Rev. Elizabeth McGlinn is amazing. She was quick to respond inititally and was great at helping us coordinate times and overall plans with her. When the big day came, she showed up early and was ready to go. Her ceremony was heartfelt and also unique to us. We could not have been more happy with her services!

Beautiful ceremony made possible by Elizabeth!

Elizabeth was the perfect officiant for our wedding! Aside from being super nice and making you feel welcome immediately, she makes planning and designing a personalized ceremony extremely simple. She let us pick the exact words she would say and customize the ceremony to fit our vision of how we wanted our big day to go. We would have never thought the ceremony and officiant would be something we would hear compliments on, yet many of our guests went out of their way to say how great Elizabeth and the ceremony both were. Elizabeth is a great choice to officiate any wedding!

Rev. McGlinn was amazing! She was so easy and comfortable to work with. We knew from the moment we met her that we wanted Elizabeth to marry us. I don’t even know where to begin. Everything from start to finish was absolutely perfect. The entire ceremony was emotional and so beautiful. We wouldn’t have wanted it any other way and couldn’t be more than grateful and happy to have Elizabeth!! Thank you so so much everything. Elizabeth was such a great choice for our ceremony! Her ABCs of Love Workbook allowed us to build our own ceremony so that it was special and unique to us. It was also super easy to do and she was so helpful along the way. Elizabeth was extremely responsive and genuinely happy to be a part of our day. I would highly recommend her!

Elizabeth McGlynn was warm and welcoming when my husband & I met with her the first time and knew she was the perfect person to marry us! She was well organized and helpful in planning our intimate ceremony at One Atlantic. All of the little things were taken care of without having to worry.
Elizabeth met with us and was in contact with us throughout the process and we would recommend her service to anyone interested in getting married in the AC area!!!

My husband and I loved working with Elizabeth on the ceremony for our wedding in May. She made the process so easy, and was very responsive to our questions, and extremely flexible in making changes along the way. The ABC's of Love Ceremony workbook that Elizabeth provided was so helpful in putting together a comprehensive wedding ceremony. We would have been lost without it! Elizabeth could not have been an better choice for our Vow Renewal. She was easy to contact and plan with and was more than flexible with us. We did not have guests at our event, but having Elizabeth there felt like family, she was so warm, we felt close immediately. What a wonderful ceremony. Rev. Elizabeth did an outstanding job incorporating our 4 children into this very special day. Our family and friends raved about the ceremony and how special it was. Rev. We could not have been happier with Elizabeth as the officiant for our wedding. From the time we met her, to the actual wedding day, she was so thoughtful, respectful, thorough, organized and responsive. She provided us with an amazing manual to read through so we could design our ceremony with so many beautiful options. Our ceremony was very intimate and personal and Elizabeth guided us thorough the whole process so that we had exactly what we wanted on our amazing day.

We had to officiants for our wedding, Rev. Elizabeth McGlinn and rev. Kerry Fosbre and they were absolutely fabulous. They are both very nice to talk to and we were able to customize our wedding ceremony to our own needs, so it just made the ceremony more beautiful and less boring than a traditional ceremony. I LOVE OUR ceremony, we even got a copy of our ceremony in a keepsake. if you are looking for wedding officiants that care and add a sense of peace and elegance to your wedding please contact this vendor, absolutely amazing!!!

The experience my husband (Sean) & I (Flor), had during our wedding ceremony from Rev. Elizabeth Mcglinn was outstanding. We had a beach wedding in Brignantine Beach, NJ, 6/2011 & it was amazing. Sean & I were so pleased with the service she provided. The phrases were put together made it so intimate, it was perfect for both of us. I loved every moment of it. Rev. McGlinn could not have been any more perfect for us!!!! We met with her a few months before our wedding date and knew instantly that she was perfect for us! She is genuinely a WONDERFUL person - her ABCs of Love workbook helped us to design our wedding EXACTLY the way we wanted it - she has a lot of experience and it shows! She was very professional and super flexible! We were so caught up with planning and perfecting our wedding day that we forgot to get our marriage license! We were mortified when we found out, but thanks to Elizabeth we were quickly at relieved and shared a chuckle and found out we were still able to get "married" on our wedding day, and she helped us to easily arrange a time to come back and officially get married (with the license lol). She was full of smiles and you could tell she genuinely loves what she does - we couldn't even IMAGINE a better officiant for our special day. I'd HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a genuinely wonderful and special person to share such a special day with. All of our family and friends at the wedding had nothing but wonderful things to say about Elizabeth - we feel like we've gained a friend for life by choosing to use her as our officiant.

We were able to see Elizabeth in action at a friend's wedding. The ceremony was amazing and afterward we did a little research and asked her to be a part of our ceremony. My husband is from South Jersey so that is where the ceremony was, eventhough we live in New York City. Elizabeth was very accommodating with our schedule and was very responsive via e-mail when the situation called for it. When we did meet with her, she took time to answer all of our questions and walk us through what we needed to do. The booklet she provides room to make the ceremony your own, and if you aren't writing your own vows the passages are also great. After our ceremony we refered her to a couple of friends who are going through the process now. We definately recommend Elizabeth to anyone.

Elizabeth was very professional from start to finish. Her wedding workbook was very helpful in allowing us to create our own, unique ceremony. We really felt as though our ceremony fit us and allowed our guests to share in our love for one another. Our guests were absolutely touched by the occassion. I would highly recommend Elizabeth to any couple. We wanted a non-religious ceremony and she executed it flawlessly but she is also capable of doing religious ceremonies as well. It was a pleasure working with Elizabeth. I'm going to miss her!

Rev. McGlinn is wonderful! From the moment we spoke with her on the phone we knew she would be perfect! She was a pleasure to work with and made planning a wedding out of state so easy. When we finally got to meet her in person a few weeks before the wedding we felt like we had know her for years.

We are still receiving compliments from guests on the ceremony and Rev. McGlinn. By using the ABC’s of Love workbook we were able to customize the ceremony and all of our guests could tell that all of the words spoken represented us as a couple. My husband and I enjoyed using the workbook and when we heard our words being read it made the moment even more special. Our guests could also tell that Rev. McGlinn takes pride in what she does as she was radiating throughout the entire ceremony and you could tell that she was just as happy for us as anyone of our family or friends.

Rev McGlinn was an absolute joy to work with. She made things relaxing, easy and fun. You get to pick your whole Ceremony from her ABC's of Love so it is your very own, and you can even edit what she has to really make it unique to you. She is willing to meet with you or do the whole thing over the phone or e-mail... When you are planning a wedding you appreciate how easy she is to work with...

I was married on the beach, and I had several people tell me it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to, not just because of the setting, but because of the words that were shared and the warmth they were shared with... and I owe this all to Rev McGlinn.

Elizabeth was a great help from when we first walked through the doors to see an unfinished area to performing our ceremony. She gave great instructions on chosing passages for our ceremony and the process of getting our marriage license. She was just really wonderful to work with. After searching reviews and trying to find the perfect angel to officiate our ceremony, we were blessed to find Scott! Our experience with Elizabeth was wonderful. We didn't find an officiant until 4 weeks before our wedding and luckily she was available. She wasn't stressed out about having the material so soon before the wedding, which was a relief. She gave us a wonderful selection of readings/parts for the ceremony and we were able to create exactly what we wanted. I thought we would have to spend a lot of writing things and looking on the Internet for things in order to tailor our ceremony, but her selection gave us plenty to look at and we were pleasantly surprised to find pieces that exactly worked for us. She showed up at the ceremony as a figure of complete calm which put us at ease. She guided us in ensuring it went smoothly, reminding my dad to shake the groom's hand, etc. She was great and we are so thankful. A true professional. thank you elizabeth!

We were very fortunate to find Reverend McGlinn for our Civil Union ceremony. From the moment that we first spoke on the phone I knew that she was the only choice for officiating over our ceremony. She walked me through the process and assured me that everything would go as planned on our special day.

Even though we didn't meet in person until the ceremony I had every confidence that all would go well. Going through the ABC's of Love, copyrighted by Reverend McGlinn was a wonderful process for us both and helped us to formulate the ceremony that spoke to us and our families and friends. Everyone has asked since the ceremony how we developed such a touching and meaningful ceremony. We owe it all to Reverend McGlinn in giving us the proper tools to work with.

From my first phone call right up to our Ceremony Rev. Elizabeth was just great!!! We so enjoyed the process of creating our own vows. Our first meeting with Rev. Elizabeth was just enjoyable and when she said we could, with the help of a booklet, design our vows we weren't sure if we cold do it. As Rev. Elizabeth said we could learn more about each other or find out why we cared about each other and how we got to where we were at that point in our relationship.... and we did!! When we received an e-mail with the vows that we had picked it brought both of us to tears, it was so us. We even asked to have things changed and Rev. Elizabeth gracefully made the changes for us. Our wedding ceremony was just perfect, it was meaningful, thoughtful and fun. Many of our guest have told us how they enjoyed our ceremony. Bruce and I can say enough about Rev. Elizabeth and her Husband. She even made sure that her husband, Rev. Scott was there for us if needed.

I can't even count the number of compliments we received about the ceremony during and after our wedding- a month later, people are still mentioning how lovely it was!

Though Rev. McGlinn made herself readily available before the wedding, we were unable to meet with her due to our own conflicting schedules. Rev. McGlinn was totally understanding and made it easy for us to complete our entire ceremony through email and phone conversations, on our own time. We were worried that it would be difficult to combine our different religious backgrounds into a unified ceremony that wouldn't offend anyone, but there were plenty of wording choices that were free of any religious undertones at all. It was a completely hassle- and stress-free process.

It wasn't until I was walking down the isle that I first laid eyes on Rev. McGlinn, but I felt like I had known her for years. Her presence is warm and caring, and you can feel that she really loves what she does! What a completely wonderful experience!

Elizabeth has the most amazing peacefullness about her. My husband and I chose our vows from her work book, we were able to create our own personalized ceremony and had a wonderful experience and learned alot about eachother in the process. We had a ceremony that was intimite and personal and was everything we ever could have wanted, we were given a copy of our vows in a book that we can look at whenever we want. We booked our wedding night three weeks before Christmas with Elizabeth. It was Christmas night so we couldn't believe she said "yes" for this last minute date. The time we wanted was already taken so she offered a later time or her husband Scott (also a officant). We decided to go with Scott. He is also wonderful. They are a fantastic team. I felt like I have known both of them my whole life. I come from a catholic background and my husband has no religion in his life at all. They custom made our ceremony to suit both of us. It was amazing. They make your wedding day a no brainer. They are extreamly organized and will hold your hand from beginning to end. I loved the fact that I could keep in touch with Elizabeth online all the time. My wedding was perfect thanks to them. We were married at the Borgata hotel in the Piato suite with Atlanic City as our backdrop. Scott arrived on time and called when he got to the elevator. My husband when down to meet him while I finished getting dressed. Scott waited a good 30 minutes while I got dress. He blended in with my guests and you would think he was a friend for years! When I meet him I was nervous and he put me at ease right away. Great ceremony! I still keep in touch with them because they meant that much to us!!

I cannot express enough, the pleasure it was working with Weddings By Divine Design and the Rev. McGlinn. Our civil union was an out of state event and we had no idea where to start. Our wedding planner recommended Rev. McGlinn and as a Metaphyscian, I know there are NO coincidences in life. My wife and I are very spiritual and we wanted to have an officiant who shared a like spiritual background. Well, lets just say that, all the church members who accompanied us to New Jersey are considering moving there ceremonies to New Jersey just so they can have Rev. McGlinn and Weddings By Divine Design unite them in their Spiritual unions.

Reverend Elizabeth McGlinn was the most amazing person I have met! I originally had booked One Atlantic Club at the Pier at Caesars in Atlantic City for our ceremony only to find a few months prior it would not be ready. She did everything she could to find us the perfect place along with recommending a videographer, photographer and florist. She responded to every email and phone call right away and I was not the easiest person to deal with especially under the circumstances. She took an enormous amount of time and energy to make our day special, always having a smile! I could go on and on with everything she did, she most certainly bent over backwards for us listening, giving advice, as well as performing the ceremony itself. Rev. McGlinn was my officiant for my 07/07/2007 wedding. She also helped very much with planning our wedding since it was out of state. She recommended services that were all great and she kept in touch and checked in to see how everything was going. She was always willing to meet with when we were in town. As our officiant she was wonderful. She made our ceremony very special and memorable. We were able to choose the wording for the entire ceremony. Whatever we wanted she made it happen!! Rev. McGlinn not only accommodated us with only about a 1 1/2 month notice on a HUGE wedding date (7/7/07), but was very professional, compassionate, sweet and non-judgemental on our religious beliefs. The ceremony was lovely. Her tone of voice was perfect and loving. We even ran late getting to our ceremony and she told us to take a breath and relax. It's okay. We'll get started whenever we're ready. Our short term relationship with her was as if we knew her for a long time. She was so personable. We can't say enough about her. Our wedding took place at the Long Beach Island Museum in Beach Haven, NJ. We found our officiant, Rev. Elizabeth McGlinn, through weddingwire.com. and we couldnt have made a better choice! She was prompt in responding to our email, and answered all our questions clearly. A huge bonus is the fact that she has a booklet that allows you to pick whatever passages you want to create your own ceremony. It made everything so simple! We were really looking forward to having Elizabeth be apart of our ceremony. Due to unfortunate circumstances, this was not possible and we agreed to have Scott perform the entire cermony in her absence. While we had the most beautiful/perfect day, were were dissappointed with parts of the ceremony. Mainly, it was evident that Scott had not prepared by reading the cermony we crafted beforehand and he also appeared dis-engaged. In addition, he got lost and had to find his place at least 2 times during the ceremony. Many guests also said they could not hear the cermony, which is largely attributed to the ocean and wind, but I feel Scott could have spoken louder. It is unfortunate that I have to give this feedback, but since we had this experience, I'd rather let you know than keep it to ourselves.
