My husband and I contacted David 2-3 weeks before our wedding. He responded quickly and let us know that he was available and could help us, which was awesome considering it was very last minute. The experience with him was beyond our expectations. David provided everything needed to move forward with his services quickly and everything was easy to understand and navigate. Getting in contact with him was easy and we never had to worry about not receiving responses. Our rehearsal and ceremony went smoothly and was made very easy because of him! We absolutely loved Father David! Communication was wonderful, everything went smoothly! Our ceremony was in Santa Fe and he was more than happy to travel from Albuquerque. As Catholics getting married at the Loretto Chapel, a Former Catholic Church now a Museum, we wanted our ceremony as close to a full mass as possible and he helped us make that happen. Cannot recommend Father Dave enough!!!
My husband and I knew very little about ceremonies or what we wanted for our wedding at first. We met with Father Dave three times before the wedding, and each meeting he walked us through every step of the process of crafting our ideal ceremony until we were completely satisfied and prepared for the big day.
Father Dave had an enormous template prepared for us with choices for every part of the ceremony. He also allowed us to add a Stefana crown ceremony to help honor my husband's Greek heritage. He was extremely great at guiding us and asking the right questions to get us where we wanted to go, and was incredible flexible with meeting times and place. On top of that, he is both incredibly friendly and professional.
As for the wedding day itself, the ceremony went flawlessly, and my family is still talking about what a wonderful job he did. If this review still hasn't sold you, I'll say it again: Father Dave was a phenomenal officiant and I will be telling anyone I know getting married in the future to come to him.

He walked us through every part of the ceremony, customizing an entire script for us, and finalizing all the details well in advance with no complications. There was never any doubt that he would be exactly where we needed, and prepared every step of the way.
He even filed our wedding license for us after the ceremony, so there was no chance of losing anything during the reception.

Excellent Officiant
When we were first looking at someone to preside over our wedding, we knew we wanted someone with a Christian belief. My husband (fiancé at the time) and I are Catholic but since I had been married in the Catholic Church before we knew we would not be able to get married in the church. Despite this fact, we also knew we didn’t want to get married in a chapel or a church. When I looked up wedding officiants, Abundant Blessings popped up and I read about the services and immediately scheduled an appointment with Bishop Doyle. From the moment we met him, we knew he would be the perfect link to the perfect wedding officiant. Communication from beginning to the end was outstanding and the ceremony was absolutely perfect. Perfect officiant for our perfect day!
We were introduced to Dave by our wedding planner and were convinced he was the perfect person for our service since the first meeting. To note: my spouse and I have different religious beliefs and Dave went above and beyond to respect both of our wishes and make the ceremony special. As our big day got closer, Dave provided a highly customizable wedding script and worked with us to get it perfect. We are still basking from just how perfect our wedding was, and in a way, we are trying to describe the ineffable. Couldn't have chosen a better officiant
Father Dave Doyle is wonderful, and I would highly recommend him as a wedding officiant. Maybe it’s a bit odd, but I came across Fr. Dave when I was trying to figure out how my now husband and I would get married. Both of our families are Roman Catholic, and he and I were brought up that way although we no longer practice. My family, particularly my mom, is a very devout catholic and wanted us to have a traditional Catholic wedding (something we didn’t really want). My coordinator recommended Fr. Dave when I told her about this. As an Old Catholic Bishop, Fr. Dave as our officiant was the best compromise for us. My husband and I do like some aspects of catholic traditions, and I think our ceremony was more beautiful to us because of those pieces that were incorporated. I appreciated Fr. Dave so much for listening to my partner and me, helping us make this wedding ours. I appreciated so much that Fr. Dave gave us a lot of say in terms of which readings we wanted, or how to word certain parts of the ceremony. My husband and I really were able to make it special and meaningful to us, without compromising our own beliefs. Fr. Dave was a delight to work with prior to our wedding whenever we’d meet, and also on our wedding day. We appreciated his special touches during the ceremony to make it a special day for my husband and me, as well as for our guests. And, we greatly appreciated his quick improvisation during our ceremony when the musicians began playing the sand ceremony music at the wrong time – playing the song instead when the rings were brought out!

An essential key to a perfect ceremony!
We choose Santa Fe as a destination wedding. Not knowing the location, the vendors, or the area at all, we could not have been luckier on how everything turned out! Bishop Doyle was fantastic! He prepped us and worked through everyone of our questions or concerns! He worked with our day of planner to be assured everything would run smoothly and there would be no worries on our minds! +Bishop Doyle truly went above and beyond in exceeding all of our expectations in a priest! We flew him to Iowa from New Mexico to perform our ceremony! He was the epitome of kind, caring, and courteous! He was always extremely attentive to our every need and choice on how we wanted our ceremony to go! Beautiful ceremony we will remember forever
Fr. Dave helped make our ceremony shine. We picked a "Catholic lite" rite with 3 readings and a couple prayers, and Fr. Dave made it so easy for us to tailor the pace of the ceremony to exactly the way we wanted it. His experience with *literally* hundreds of weddings in his toolkit gave us confidence that things would run according to plan so we didn't have to stress about it, and boy did he give us a gorgeous ceremony. Perfect timing, lovely remarks, and a fabulous start to our married life. Our marriage license arrived swiftly after we got home from the honeymoon. Thank you again for everything!

Amazing ceremony, making every moment count
Bishop Doyle was wonderful to work with. He met with my husband and I and discussed what was important to us to have in our ceremony. He is very knowledgeable and willing to work with any ideas you have. On the day of he was wonderful guiding us through the ceremony and ensuring our vendors were all on the same page. After the ceremony our guests asked who he was because they felt like he did such a great job!

Father Dave made our day so special!
My husband and I eloped in the foothills of Albuquerque 3 weeks ago and it was absolutely perfect. We owe so much to Father Dave for taking the time to ensure every part of our ceremony was exactly what we wanted. Father Dave is genuinely a wonderful person, and he is also incredibly organized, patient, diligent, and well spoken. His process is one of a kind and made our most special day easy for us, but also beautiful and so personal. I cannot recommend him more to anyone wanting a religious or a non-religious wedding officiant in the Albuquerque area.

Can’t Say Enough How Wonderful Our Experience Was
Father David Doyle is an incredibly wonderful officiant. Despite having to move our date several times due to COVID-19, he stuck with us along way and without difficulty or question.
He is calming, kind and takes time to get to know you and your partner as a couple. From the moment we had our first introductory call (ours was a destination wedding), we knew he was the perfect fit for us! He will tailor your ceremony to your vision as a couple and provides guidance, support and recommendations along the way that are so helpful especially when you’re planning a wedding and there are so many decisions to be made. He’s wonderful!
On the day of the wedding and the rehearsal his experience truly shines and he expertly leads, he is very professional, warm, friendly and organized. Carlos and I adored working with him and would make the same choice over and over again. We are truly blessed to have had Father Doyle preside over our wedding. He’s amazing!

Can't recommend Dave highly enough!
We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID-19, but we decided to elope on our original wedding date. Despite the pandemic Dave agreed to officiate our ceremony and he was wonderful! He gave us so many options to really personalize our ceremony and helped us pare it down for our elopement. He was extremely flexible with us and accomodated our last minute venue change. He helped us perform a socially distanced ceremony and was truly a joy to work with. We can't wait for him to officiate our wedding next year!

I can’t say enough good things about Dave. After meeting with Catholic priests and feeling judged because of my now-husband’s beliefs, finding Dave was a godsend. He immediately made us feel comfortable with him. We customized our ceremony to fit US and could make it as religious as we wanted it. He met with us several times to revise, which was great! I loved that he guided us through the ceremony so we could never get lost. I would highly recommend him!!

Dave Doyle was an awesome officiant for our wedding. He met with us several times to go over our ceremony details and made sure it reflected exactly what we wanted. He has such a friendly and kind personality. He was very helpful during our rehearsal and took charge to make sure everyone new what they were supposed to do and where they were supposed to be. He helped put us at ease that everything would go smoothly and it did. Dave even offers a service to deliver the marriage license back to the county clerk's office, which was extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend hiring Dave as your officiant.

Great officiant
Upon contacting Dave Doyle he scheduled a meeting for us to sit down and discuss what it is that we were looking for in our wedding. He has performed literally thousands of weddings and had a multitude of options for everything that we wanted to do with the ceremony. He walked us through planning the whole ceremony, right down to suggestions for vows. He made our ceremony feel personal, even though we had only talked to him a few times he captured exactly how we wanted our ceremony to be. He is an excellent choice.

My husband and I couldn’t have chosen a better officiant for our wedding. Fr. Dave was absolutely amazing! He was such a pleasure to work with and we couldn’t be happier with how our ceremony turned out. We still have so many guests telling us how beautiful it was and I want to say it was all because of Fr. Dave. One of the many things we really loved about him, is he really allowed us to customize every single detail in our ceremony and wanted to make sure it was exactly how we wanted it to be. Throughout the ceremony, he was so sweet to remind us to breathe and be calm, as your nerves and emotions are all over the place. I'd like to write a review of our experience with Bishop David Doyle. Bishop Doyle is a warm and welcoming individual who made himself easily available to talk about details, options, the ceremony or really anything that comes up. Bishop Doyle did a wonderful job in walking my future wife and I through planning the entire service leading up to and including our wedding. He really put us at ease and made our wedding day go incredibly smooth. The ceremony was easily customizable based on our religious beliefs without bringing his own beliefs into the ceremony. After the ceremony, we had several guests comment about how much they loved his ceremony and we couldn't agree more. You definitely cannot go wrong by having Bishop Doyle preside over your ceremony.

He made sure I was 100% happy with all the ceremony details for my wedding weeks before my wedding so I did not have to worry about anything the days leading up to my wedding. He was so great and even took the lead during rehearsal! My wedding planner, and my bridesmaid who is also a wedding planner even noticed how great he was and said that most officiants do not even do half as much as Rev. David Doyle did. He made my wedding ceremony so intimate and personal. He added touches to the ceremony that engaged our guests and made them really feel apart of our special day. I would recommend Rev. David Doyle to anyone that is looking for a wedding officiant! He was truly the best and made my ceremony PERFECT. And as an added bonus he is extremely affordable!!

Fr. Dave was amazing! We live in Las Cruces so were looking for someone to marry us in Albuquerque. We met him for coffee one afternoon and we both immediately felt like his views were in line with ours. My husband was raised catholic and I was raised non-denominational, and he gave us great advice on how to design a ceremony that would work for both of us and our families. He sent the ceremony draft via email and was easy to work back and forth with to make sure that the wording was what we wanted. He put my mom at ease immediately during the rehearsal. Fr. Dave was funny, light hearted, and made our ceremony personal, even though we had only met once beforehand. It absolutely poured rain during the outdoor ceremony, and he was such a good sport, even though we were all soaked! We would absolutely recommend Fr. Dave to any couple, regardless of religion!

Dave did an amazing job with our wedding Ceremony. He included all the details we wanted and made it very special. I would highly recommend him for your ceremony. Dave also sent our marriage license to be filed which was very nice and one less thing we had to do. He sends you a rough draft of the ceremony which is nice to know what to expect before hand.

Bishop Doyle was Awesome to work with and he did an amazing job with our wedding. He helped guide us through the planning and preparation of our ceremony. He was very helpful on giving options for scripture and our vows which made it personal and not so traditional. We chose not have a rehearsal for our wedding and he was great on improvising to make it perfect.

Reverend David Doyle added so much to our service. He offered suggestions on our vows and readings. He gave us creative freedom but added just the right amount of solemnity to give us a beautiful ceremony. Fr David did a wonderful job working with us to plan the wedding of my son! We chose him over the others on the list we were given because he was the only one who was clearly Christian. Planning was a little more complicated than normal - the couple live in China and her family does not speak English. This meant all planning was long distance. He is very well organized and has a survey/template that the couple could answer to create the ceremony most meaningful to them. We also included an interpreter in the ceremony and he worked with her so that all in attendance could enjoy the ceremony. I would highly recommend him.

Bishop Doyle was a pleasure to work with. Being out of town, we were not able to meet him until the ceremony. Yet there was no reason to worry as we spoke with him over the phone and via email many times. He helped us plan the whole order of service, and regularly reminded us that it was OUR service, and we needed to make sure he was helping us do what we wanted to do for our wedding. During our ceremony, he was personable, professional, and expressed his emotions in his words and face (humor, happiness, etc). I am thankful to Renee at the Loretto Chapel for the recommendation, and Dave and I are both grateful and happy to have Bishop Doyle conduct our ceremony. MANY THANKS!!

I am Catholic and come from a very strict Catholic family, and my husband is not. Rev. David Doyle made it possible for myself and my husband to get married, and provided us with everything a Catholic ceremony requires. Not only were we happy with this; my family was also happy with the ceremony. He was respectful and took into consideration the things that each of us value and wanted to include. I was very nervous and Rev. Doyle guided both of us throughout the ceremony, which helped me to stay calm. Our ceremony went perfectly! Rev. Doyle's jovial attitude just made the day even better! Rev David reminded me of a church leader that positively impacted my life as a youth. We chose a non-denominational service as my husband is not religious however; Rev David was able to sprinkle in a little faith for the sake of my Catholic family. We met 2 weeks prior to finalize our vows face to face which allowed us the opportunity to add our own special touches such as the prayer reflection for those who could not be with us. I recently lost my grandparents so it was a tear jerker moment, but I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Despite the nerves that were present, Rev David was able to keep all parties cool and calm and on track, while making our union fun and something we will always look back on and be thankful for.

My husband and I were looking for a Catholic Priest to perform our wedding ceremony and did not know where to look. After an initial phone call, Father Dave immediately got in touch with us. It was a pleasure working with him. From the beginning, he was available to answer all of our questions and guide us through all our planning. Every email and call was answered in a timely manner. We were very happy Father Dave traveled to our venue ( Santa Fe) and officiated the ceremony (not at a church). He is very sweet, kind, and helpful. My ceremony was very beautiful, and extracted the most important aspects of a Catholic Mass. On our wedding day, the sermon and mass was very lovely and heartwarming. We cannot thank him enough for making our ceremony truly memorable. At our wedding, I actually had people remarking, and days later, about how wonderful the ceremony was.
If you go with Father Dave you will definitely not regret it!

Bishop Doyle is the coolest guy. My husband is Catholic and I am not. We wanted a ceremony that included some of the things that would be part of a Catholic church wedding but in our own way. He helped us chose what we wanted to include and reminded us that it was our day and he would help make our ceremony the way we wanted. He's well spoken and has a great presence and voice. After all the craziness of wedding planning and everything that leads up to that final moment when you walk down the aisle I was so nervous. To begin our ceremony the first thing he said to us was to take a deep breath and relax. I did it and I just cleared my mind about everything else and really enjoyed our ceremony.

My husband and I were married at the Four Seasons in Santa Fe, and choosing Father Dave as our officiant was one of the best decisions we made. From our home in Texas, we consulted with him over the phone, and even from a distance, his warmth and professionalism came through clearly. It does take him some time to respond to emails, texts, and voicemails, so plan for that. However, He is truly an expert and guided us through every part of the experience with patience, care, and deep understanding. He helped us select the perfect elements for our ceremony, led a thoughtful rehearsal, and ensured everything flowed beautifully on our wedding day.
Father Dave crafted a ceremony that was deeply personal and meaningful, reflecting our story and values perfectly. We included a ring warming ceremony, which was incredibly special for us, and he made sure it was seamlessly incorporated in a way that felt natural and heartfelt. His calm, reassuring presence made us feel completely at ease throughout the entire process.
Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful and moving the ceremony was and how much they appreciated Father Dave’s warmth and sincerity. After spending a lot of time researching and speaking with other officiants, we can confidently say we made the right choice. Father Dave exceeded every expectation and made our wedding day truly unforgettable.

Eloping instead of having a small wedding.
The value is good if you have a small group of 20-30 people but in our case where we decided to elope and have only 2 witnesses, it can be rather expensive. I still like what we did and it was a very intimate and special wedding.

Loretto Chapel pays me a set fee whether I prepare a personalized wedding ceremony for 2 persons (the bridal couple and 2 Loretto employees who double as witnesses) or 120 persons. A side note: I also arranged to return your Wedding Certificate to the Curry County Clerk and for you to get the original and 6 certified copies of your certificate mailed to you, not Loretto Chapel.
