Great service!

Highly recommend working with Rev. Chris Adams. She was very responsive, friendly, and easy to work with. She told us exactly what to do for our license and what to expect during the whole process. Her wedding packet was easy to follow and had a ton of options to select from. She was also prompt to the wedding venue and worked closely with our day of coordinator, DJ, and our photographer. We had a last minute change to our sand ceremony as my oldest son could not attend and she quickly updated it and confirmed the changes with us. I also liked that she made a lot of eye contact with us and our guests throughout the ceremony.

Chris is Amazing!

A lot of things went wrong at my wedding, but Chris was the only one I wasn't worried about. She did an amazing job! She was exactly what I was looking for and made my wedding ceremony perfect! She was so laid back, and I annoyed her with countless questions and concerns, and she was excellent! You will not regret it!

Stress and Hassle Free

Chris was extremely kind and welcoming. She seemed genuinely excited and happy for my wife and I to be getting married. She made everything easy and hassle free. She was always available if we needed anything, and worked with us when we needed to make this minute changes to some things. 10/10 would highly recommend Chris!

Great Officiant

We worked together to create a ceremony to fit my and my husband's needs, including keeping the ceremony non-denominational and non-exclusionary. She was patient as the ceremony decisions were made, and clearly outlined how everything was going to happen. I highly suggest her to anyone else looking for an efficient and knowledgeable officiant!

Amazing Wedding Officiant

Rev Chris was an absolute intregal part of our wedding preparation. She helped plan our ceremony with an easy to use planning guide that allowed my wife and I to put our spin on the ceremony. Rev Chris' knowledge of Howard County wedding venues led to her suggesting our eventual cite for ceremony and reception. She was extremely easy to contact and went above and beyond in helping us plan our perfect day. She was very affordable and had all of our paperwork completed prior to our ceremony. I would absolutely recommend her services to any couple who is looking for a bride and groom centered officiant!

Chris makes the whole ceremony planning process simple and stress-free. She performs a variety of ceremony styles that allow for you to create the exact ceremony that you want. She was wonderful to work with and we would certainly recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant.

Rev Chris is great!
She mailed us a hard copy ceremony packet right away and it was so much fun to read through the options for the service with my fiancé. Rev Chris is open to customizing a ceremony as religious or civil as one would like. Instead of a reading we asked if she would share some of her own words about marriage and it was perfect.
We chose exactly what we wanted said during the ceremony from her many options and Rev Chris emailed us a final script. She arrived when we requested, prepped my fiancé at the altar and then confidently took us through! :)
She provides detailed instructions about our license and what to bring her and then she submitted it for us later so we didn’t have to think about it! :)

Rev Chris was great. She provided very clear instructions ahead of time to help us with the rehearsal. She was very responsive over email if I had questions. Great Service!

Rev Chris Adams was very accommodating and friendly. She helped us during our ceremony by guiding us when needed. (Giving brides bouquet to maid of honor and guiding wedding party when walking away from the alter. We were able to custom the ceremony and read our own vows. She helped make our day perfect. We definitely recommend her to anyone that needs an officiant!

A Lucky Friday 13th Wedding!

Rev. Chris is a true blessing from above! She was able to come to our home and perform Our Wedding Ceremony the next day after calling her and the day after she was able to walk without her walker from a broken foot.. People say Friday the 13th is a bad luck day, but it sure was a LUCKY day for us!! Thanks to Rev. Chris for coming to our home and performing our Marriage Ceremony with everything that was going on 3/13/2020..
You made the two of us very happy, something we both have been awaiting for a very long time!!

Very responsive, reassuring, and professional

Rev. Chris was wonderful to work with from start to finish. I found her through my venue, but quickly discovered that she has an excellent and thorough website. She's very responsive to questions and emails and her calmness, professionalism, and empathy were appreciated during a hectic time. Planning a wedding is stressful, and her reassurance was so comforting. On the wedding day itself, she was great and she really went above and beyond in the moment: She took my bouquet from me at the right time and handed it to my mother (I didn't have any bridesmaids), and she went with the flow when my dad was fighting back sobs and forgot to shake my husband's hand after giving me away. She understands that your wedding day is a frenzy of activity and emotions, and she's there to be a beacon of calm and guide you through it. We highly recommend her!

Rev Chris is hands down, the best at what she does. She knows the system and makes it so easy for you. We seriously had options we didn’t know we even had! It was so nice to just have the help we needed in a timely manner. She was professional, extremely organized, and so kind. Professional and easy to work with!

Reverend Chris was awesome on our wedding day! She was so easy to work with and made the planning of our wedding ceremony extremely stress free, catering to all of our wishes! She was extremely professional and caring on the wedding day and helped us make some last minute adjustments to our sand ceremony that significantly helped with the flow of our ceremony. Reverend Chris is absolutely one of a kind, and made our ceremony so personalized and special. When we first spoke to her while on the hunt for an officiant, my husband and I felt an immediate connection with Rev. Chris and knew we needed her to be a part of our wedding. She makes putting together the ceremony easy and fun, and has the ability (and willingness) to tailor it to the couple. Rev. Chris is enthusiastic and responsive, as well as just an incredible human being whom you WANT to get to know. Our wedding guests are still telling us just how much they enjoyed the ceremony, and how well they felt it reflected my husband and I. We didn’t write our own anything, so all the credit goes to Rev. Reverend Chris is the best! We loved our wedding ceremony. She has a great packet to help focus your vision, but then we were able to tailor everything. We felt extremely comfortable with Reverend Chris and supported by her. Communication was excellent throughout our engagement and up to our wedding day. Reverend Chris also showed up plenty of time in advance and ensured everything was in order for the wedding. We are the second in a group of friends to be married by Chris; she comes with the highest recommendation!

Rev. Chris Adams is wonderful to work with and made the ceremony outline process very easy. She is very flexible. She heard about us having a rehearsal and emailed me right away to ask if we wanted her to be present at the rehearsal. She was very accessible via email through the whole planning process. She also provided an estimated time for our ceremony, so we knew if it was going to be too long or too short. We would highly recommend her services to future couples.

Rev. Chris Adams was absolutely amazing and a total sweetheart!!! My now husband and I were looking for a short and sweet ceremony!!! I was actually referred to Rev. Chris by another officiant and I’m sure glad I was referred to her, not only was she patient, she was extremely responsive and have the best communication ever!!!! Once we agreed on a date she explained and sent over a copy of the ceremony for my approval... I never had to wait more than a few hours even if I emailed her for a response. Chris was so wonderful to work with- I can't say enough good things! We'd asked a friend to perform our ceremony, and just a few months before, we got nervous that it wouldn't be valid with him doing it. (My husband is British and we're going through immigration now- so we didn't want to have that delayed at all). I found Chris on here and immediately emailed her, after seeing her warm, inviting face and so many good reviews. Chris performed a small, intimate ceremony the night before our "wedding." It was just my fiance and I, and it was perfect. We went to her house and she set the lighting dim, with a roaring fire in the background. We're so happy that we had the ceremony just the two of us with Chris- we felt we could really be in the moment with each other, like we were the only two people in the universe. The next day, we went into our actual wedding with family and friends carefree and without worry that our friend's ceremony wouldn't be valid- we were already legally married thanks to Chris. Chris got our paperwork sent in nearly immediately, and by the end of the week, we had our marriage certificate in hand to attach to the immigration package we'd been working on for submission. Thanks for everything, Chris! We're so happy that we chose the do the small ceremony with just us before our big day before everyone :)

Chris was great! She walked us through the process step by step and provided an awesome "Ceremony Handbook" that really helped us shape our ceremony. She was extremely open to us changing stuff around, and really let us make it our own. She delivered it beautifully.

Rev. Chris - where do I start!

She is professional, organized and wonderful to work with. Within 5 minutes of meeting, my husband and I knew, she was it! She will take care of you. Rev. Chris lays out so many options for you as far as your ceremony goes- which was perfect for us because we weren't sure where to start. We made a few changes along the way and our ceremony was so special.

Throughout my wedding process, this is where I felt the most at ease. Being a bride or groom- your head is spinning and she would shoot little reminders incase I forgot something and kept me on track without being pushy.

Her experience showed during our planning process, the rehearsal, and the ceremony. She speaks with such grace and confidence. Plus- she could round up our 20+ wedding party, along with our huge families- this is no easy task. Book her for your rehearsal as well. She will have everything laid out for you before you rehearsal dinner. We were able to go over the names, diagram and order by phone the evening before our rehearsal dinner. Brides and grooms, this is by far the best thing. There is so much going on and it was wonderful to know she could take care of it and you can enjoy the process. Plus, she gives you a copy to have.

The best thing about Rev. Chris is that she truly cares about your special day. It was clear she wanted us to have exactly what we wanted. She delivered.

I had the best experience with Rev. Chris- I highly recommend her. She is experienced, easy to work with and so nice!

I really can't express how wonderful Reverend Chris was officiating our wedding. She is warm, caring, efficient, quick to respond, comforting, lovely. Our ceremony was beautiful and we got so many compliments about it. What else can I say? HIRE HER!!!!

Look no further for your wedding officiant, because Rev. Chris is the best choice. I almost instantly got a response when I first contacted her for our wedding and she always got back to me so quickly when I had questions throughout the planning process. She has a great book with so many options for the ceremony and can help you craft a personal and heartfelt ceremony. Once I gave her all my choices, she put it all together and told me how long it would be. We enjoyed the times we got to meet with her and felt like we really knew her by the time our wedding day came. She really knows what she is doing and you can tell that she cares about all of her brides & grooms. We are so lucky that we came across Rev. Chris and highly recommend her.

Chris was fantastic and so easy to work with. She genuinely cares about the couples that she works with. She also makes the process extremely easy. She has an awesome workbook that you can go through to completely customize your ceremony. My husband and I had so much fun doing this. We shared some tears and some laughs picking different verses and readings that reminded us of us. Dealing with all the stress of the wedding, this was a fantastic reminder of what this day was really all about. Thank you Chris for providing us with that. You are a 10/10. Chris was great. We met at her house both times, she was very organized and thorough. We wrote our own vows, and she collected them ahead of time and brought them to the venue in case we forgot. After the day, she presented us with the full service, as a keepsake.
Chris had some great ideas for our venue, as she was very familiar with it - both ideas really paid off! And when it called for cold and rainy, she sent a few emails that made me feel better about the day.
There's no rehearsal, but we just did our own as a family and it all went great. Highly recommend! Thanks so much Chris!!

Rev. Adams went above and beyond, not only officiating our marriage, but running an organized rehearsal and helping to pass out programs and bubble wands without us asking her to. She allowed us as the couple to build our ceremony how we wanted it and provided TONS of example templates to help us choose. On top of this, she spoke confidently and clearly for the audience and works well with a microphone or without. We think she was literally the perfect person for us and would recommend anyone getting married in the Baltimore area to give her a chance!

When we first met with Chris, her warmth and charm struck us immediately and we knew she was the right minister to perform our wedding ceremony. When wedding planning, thinking about the ceremony and choosing an officiant was one of the last things my fiance and I did. Probably because we weren't as excited about this part, we we're more interested in planning the party! We found Reverend Chris on wedding wire and decided to contact her based on her great reviews. We are so glad we did because she showed us that planning the ceremony could be a lot of fun too. She made the process really easy by providing us with a packet of ceremony options to choose from or build upon. i don't even know where to start with rev chris. we love her. we needed an officiant for our wedding on 10/11/14, found rev chris, and our search was immediately over. there's two things that make rev chris a great officiant for any wedding:

1. she is a consummate professional. she has officiated just about every single wedding that has ever happened. she has officiated all types of weddings, all kinds of people, all sorts of venues. she has literally seen it all before. so she knows what she's doing. she will draw up a beautiful ceremony that fits exactly what you want, and you'll be very happy afterwards.

2. she's an awesome person. beyond the fact that she's a really great and reliable officiant, she's just super nice, easygoing and friendly. when we first talked to her we instantly fell in love with her and knew we could trust her with our wedding day. she isn't just somebody who stood up in front of our family and read some stuff; she is a very special person and we now feel like we have a lifelong friend.

Rev. Chris Adams was the perfect choice for an officiant! She was so laid back and easy to work with. Our personalities meshed so well that the very first time we met, we spent an hour just chit chatting about life and weddings! We knew the very first time we met Chris that we definitely wanted to book her. She was professional, fun, and very reasonable! She provided us with a manual to help guide us in writing the perfect ceremony that suited our style. The options were endless, as we could take bits and pieces of any portion of the ceremony and combine them, or remove them. We must have had her revise the ceremony at least 5 or 6 times, but she always did it with a smile. We even received a "keepsake" copy of our final ceremony! On our very last meeting to finalize our big day, she "ordered" the weather for our outdoor wedding..."sunny, upper 70's, slight breeze". In the typically rainy month of May, she showed up and brought the weather we ordered with her! Amazed, we laughed in excitement!! During the ceremony, Rev. Chris spoke loudly and clearly so that everyone could hear. Even as the motorcycle group drove by and the crowd turned to see and laugh, she kept a light sense of humor as she waited for them to pass so that no one would miss a moment! In addition, she showed such true emotion to all of the feelings that embraced our ceremony. It was really wonderful to see how much she truly cared (and that she was not just there to do a job). With the excitement that followed the ceremony, we didn't get a chance to talk to Rev. Chris before she left. If we did, I would have given her a big hug and told her how absolutely wonderful and personal she made our ceremony feel!

We only spoke with a couple of officiants over the phone and decided almost immediately that we wanted Chris to officiate at our wedding. She was very easy to talk to and put us at ease. We really felt like we were going to get the type of ceremony that we wanted. We were looking for something that was both traditional but also a little laid back/modern. The book that Chris sent us with ideas was excellent and when we met with her it was very simple to adjust things so that the length etc was just right. She was very responsive by email too. The ceremony (outside on the deck of the Annapolis Maritime Museum) was lovely. We felt relaxed and the content was just great and Chris presented it beautifully. We would definitely recommend Chris to other couples.

Reverend Chris Adams performed an exceptionally beautiful ceremony for our daughter and son-in-law. From our first meeting with Rev. Chris, we knew she was the perfect match to minister the wedding. Her friendly demeanor made us feel extremely comfortable, as if we had known her for many years.

Reverend Chris is very responsive, flexible, and well organized. During our discussions, she explained each element of the ceremony and provided considerable insight and suggestions during the planning process. Rev. Chris provided a self created booklet which offered various options for each part of the ceremony, making decisions easy to reach. All of this resulted in a very personalized ceremony.

During the day of rehearsal, it rained heavily causing us to rehearse indoors for what was an outdoor ceremony. However Rev. Chris’ detailed explanations led to an extraordinarily and seamless wedding day. She even took time just before the ceremony began to teach the groomsmen how to unroll the aisle runner. We highly recommend Reverend Chris Adams!!

Chris has a very easy-going, relaxing nature about her that is very calming which is necessary on your wedding day! Rev. Adams was a gem of a find during our wedding planning! We had interviewed a couple of officiants before Rev. Adams and felt that they were offering a cookie-cutter service. The interviews felt very commercialized and impersonal, as if we were another transaction for them to process.

Not so with Rev. Adams! Since we are in the DC metro area and she is located closer to Baltimore, it was a fluke that we found her website during an internet search. We got a very warm vibe from her website, and contacted her. She responded immediately, and we made the drive up to see her. The rest, well, you know what happened! She is a very warm and genuine person, and we felt that she cared and was interested in us as a couple. We hired her almost immediately after meeting her. Through out the wedding planning, she was very responsive to our e-mails, and was open to what we wanted in the ceremony.

The day of the wedding, it poured rain, and we had to move from the garden to an indoor room. But she took that in stride, and even made sure to talk to us privately before hand to calm our nerves. The ceremony went wonderfully. Afterwards, more than one guests commented how good she was and asked how we knew her.

She charged us a little more for traveling to the DC area, but that was well worth it. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant that made us feel special on our special day.

Rev. Chris was wonderful to work with! From the get-go she was very understanding, helpful, and incredibly organized. We had originally planned to go with a Rev. from my church, but they were very unresponsive and did not provide any guidance. We decided to change and find someone else on our own. We read the other reviews for Rev Chris and we were so happy to hear she was still available and ready to help us put our ceremony together in just a few short months.

Just a couple examples of how great she is and how she is willing to go above and beyond...
We had some trouble finding our coordinator at the beginning of the ceremony to get things started. But thankfully when it was time to get all our guests to their seats, Rev Chris lead the charge and helped us start our ceremony on time.
Also, my father wanted to surprise me with a song to start our ceremony, but I was working with Rev. Chris almost every day leading up to the wedding on finalizing the ceremony. Little did I know that she was working my husband-to-be and my dad to keep it all a secret so that I was surprised with the song! It was amazing!!

My husband and I were both so happy with our ceremony and just having the chance to have Rev Chris be a part of our wedding. She spoke so eloquently at our ceremony and made it more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. We would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone looking for an Officiant in the area :)

Rev. Chris was extremely helpful throughout the ceremony planning process. She made us feel so comfortable that designing our ceremony was a breeze. The day of she was extremely professional and helped our wedding day go off without a hitch. We were very lucky to have her as part of our day.

Rev. Chris was so wonderful to work with. My husband I had so much fun planning the ceremony with her and really just enjoyed her company! Everyone keeps telling us how beautiful our ceremony was. I am incredibly happy that we had the privilege of being married by Rev. Chris!

Rev. Chris was great to work with from the get go. She's very professional and organized and was always two steps ahead of you, which was refreshing during the busy planning process.

The selections she has to choose from to create your ceremony are expansive and very lovely. Several people commented to me how beautiful our ceremony was, which of course was so nice to hear.

Rev. Chris was able to accommodate my last minute decision to do a rehearsal, which was very much appreciated. I enjoyed working with Rev. Chris and I thank her tremendously for performing such a special ceremony.

Rev. Chris was exactly what we were looking for in an officiant! We didn't want a religious ceremony, but we wanted something spiritual, romantic, and nice said for our vows (something that a judge probably couldn't provide). She provided a booklet of different ceremony options that we could pull ideas from, tweak, and add to as needed. She helped us develop the vows into our own. So many guests had wonderful things to say about the words that were said and how unique everything was. She was so responsive during the whole process and willing to answer questions and go through the timeline whenever we needed. I would definitely recommend Rev. Chris for any wedding ceremony!

Rev. Chris is absolutely amazing! She was the first and only wedding officiant my fiance and I met with. What I noticed immediately was how she made you feel so comfortable with her, like you've known her for years. We met with her in her home and she never tried too hard to say what she thought you wanted to hear. She was herself and I appreciated that more than anything. She is very motherly and can put even the most nervous bride at ease. She is VERY quick to respond to e-mails and goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy. She did an amazing job at our rehearsal giving directions and making sure everyone knew exactly what they needed to do. She takes all of the stress off of you and puts it on her shoulders. Our ceremony was beautiful and a big part of the reason why was Rev. Chris! I would recommend her to anyone!

Chris was amazing! She definitely helped us have the fun and unique ceremony we wanted. She gave us free reign to have the vows be whatever we desired. She gave us a very helpful booklet of sample ceremonies we could choose from, or mix and match. We decided to modify our own Renaissance ceremony, and she enjoyed it and made it special. I would highly recommend Chris for anyone who wants a ceremony that is anything but the standard church ceremony, although I'm sure she would be brilliant at that as well! Chris was wonderful to work with and we both highly recommend her.

She’s great! I found her through a website and am so happy I did. She contacted us right away with a clear outline of how to go about the process of working with her. We set up a meeting and as soon as we met knew she was perfect for our ceremony! We felt at ease with her and comfortable in knowing she would help us create a meaningful ceremony. With her help, we were able to create our ceremony from a detailed booklet of possibilities, and even able to rewrite several of the elements to make them perfectly suited for us. Beyond delivering a great ceremony for us though, Rev. Chris was a guiding force in helping the event go off well! She rounded up our various relatives and let them know how the processional would work and did so in a way that made everyone excited and comfortable that they knew what to do. I was able to just focus on my own excitement and part in the ceremony knowing that Rev. Chris was taking care of the rest. We highly recommend her!

Rev. Chris is a wonderful minister. You will connect with her instantly. She has a beautiful soul and personality. I loved the booklet that she gave us to pick out our vows or to make up our own. The process was so stress free and all of my friends and family commented on how beautiful our vows were and how Rev. Chris read them to us.

Rev Chris did a fabulous job for our low-key wedding at Sandy Point Beach, Annapolis, MD. For only chatting with us on the phone (we are from Ohio) she got us. When the weather forecast was for 95+, she was on board with changing the ceremony from 1 PM to 11 AM. Thank you for a wonderful day.

Chris married my husband and me on May 29th of this year. We had to cancel our original date because of a death in my family. Chris was very accommodating and understanding. We just dumped everything on her. We gave her little to no input because of the choas we were in. We tentatively set up 10 am, Sunday, May 29. We did not contact her again until the Saturday before the wedding to confirm. We were on I95 S driving from New England. She was all set. A friend of mine had spoken to her and she helped her arrange for a bouquet for me. We wanted to write our vows, but were not able to. When she did our service it was incredible how closely she had listened to us the few times we spoke on the phone. She picked a perfect spot and added things in the service that were personal to us. We were delighted. We liked Chris instantly and were impressed with her attention to detail and her organizatin. Richard and Martha.
