    Ginny did all of the photography on the day of our wedding. She is absolutely adorable, funny, super easy to work with, and is a HARD WORKER. She ran the show during the photo sessions at our wedding, making sure that we were adhering to our timeline. She was not evasive at all and her candid shots are phenomenal.

    She works fast and knows just how to pose you in a way that feels natural and comfortable for you and your partner.

    My favorite aspect of her services was that she was able to do some ad hoc pictures whenever we felt like it during your big day (ex. I wanted a picture with my godmother during dinner and right then and there she was able to take a formal
    photo) and she sends you a sneak peek of your photos literally the day after your wedding!! She had 17 photos waiting for us to view the next day. Amazing.

    If you love naturally candid and romantic photography, then book Ginny! She will not disappoint.

    I cannot say enough great things about Ginny!! She is by far the vendor I am most proud of choosing for our wedding! LOVE her!!

    Here is the email I wrote to Ginny a week after receiving our wedding pictures:

    Hi Ginny!

    I'm so sorry it took me so long to respond! I wanted to sit down and really take the time to thank you so much for everything!

    You are the most talented photographer I've ever met or work I've seen! I was so picky when searching for a photographer to capture our special day.. I wanted a certain look, certain elements, while still capturing the tradition and culture of our family. I trusted you and then absolutely adored our engagement shoot... Working with you this past year has been such a pleasure and I'm kind of sad that the wedding planning is done now :( You're professionalism from day one and being so organized especially on the day of the wedding. I loved that you gave direction and made us feel confident while shooting. The last wedding I was in earlier this year, the photographer asked the group, "So what kind of pose do you guys want to do now?", "Just do whatever" We were so taken back! I also loved that I didn't feel you around for the candids.. you we're never intrusive or ever felt like you got in the way. It just felt like you were part of the crowd :) Also of our guests- I bet most of them had no clue you even took their picture.. But you captured the most incredible reactions!

    You managed to exceed our expectations for our wedding pictures, capturing the romantic glam that I dreamed of, and getting some amazing vintage-looking shots! You captured so many of our guests, even though I know it was hard with 300 of them. You told our story so beautifully and it makes me fall in love with Jack again every time I look at them.

    I can't thank Ginny enough for all that she has done for us! She is the best photographer anyone can ask for on their big day!

    I just had my wedding yesterday and I would not be on Yelp writing a review if it wasn't because I'm so thankful for Ginny!

    I've had the privilege to work with Ginny on our engagement shoot, City Hall ceremony and actual wedding ceremony day. She goes out of her way to make sure everything is organized, well thought out and everyone is comfortable. She took her time to review my timeline for every event and made sure we had time for everything we had scheduled. Without her, my timeline for my wedding day would've been too rushed.

    Not only is Ginny a talented photographer who can always capture the right light, she is a responsible business owner who is always responsive, responsible and honest. We love the pictures she took for us at engagement and City Hall -- she definitely captured the moment above and beyond the actual moment. For our big day, I forgot that we had a 10 hour booking, I thought it was only 8, she was the one who reminded me of the extra 2 hours. She was prompt to every photo shoot and went out of her way (aka even if it's risking her life falling off a slope hill, or climbing things even when she was pregnant or laying flat on grass) to take the best angles of pictures. She kept me on my schedule and suggested when it was the best time to take pictures.

    Ginny is simply brilliant and she took the pressure off of me on my big day -- her help and coordination made it easy to go through the chaos. As a wedding photographer, she not only possess the eye of art photography, she is professional, kind, fun, and simply a pleasure to work with.

    We are so happy with our decision with choosing Retrospect as our photographer for our wedding. Not only was Ginny the most awesome photographer, she was able to make us feel comfortable in front of a camera. I found her through facebook because a friend liked her page and one of her photos popped up on my newsfeed. I fell in love with her style and decided I must have her as my wedding photographer. She would always respond to emails in a timely matter. We ended up getting the photo package that included the engagement session. My husband and I were a little nervous for the engagement photos because we have never had a photo shoot before, but she was able to make it fun and make us laugh and feel comfortable in front of the camera.

    The day of the wedding she showed up right on time with her husband (her assistant) and also an extra assistant to help her out. She made the whole day super easy and organized. She made us laugh and feel comfortable. She is really good at directing and posing so you don't have to think about what to do next. Everyone I talked to were super impressed with Ginny because she's pretty pregnant and she went all day and was able to still stand by the end of the night. At one point, they said, they saw her on the ground crawling trying to capture the perfect photo.

    We received our photos early and we could not be any happier with them. They are beautiful and really captured the details of the wedding. I also really love all the candid photos she captured. She is really good at capturing a moment and you can tell she loves what she does. So, If you want a wedding photographer that is passionate, organized, focus' on all the details, captures the special moments, and let's not forget super friendly and Awesome I would recommend you use Retrospect.

    Ginny is the best! We were looking for a photographer whose style focused more on natural light. While Ginny was at the top of our photography budget, it was well worth it. She made us feel comfortable right from the get-go, had cookies baked for our first meeting, was easy going, but was also very professional. She was also flexible in letting us leverage one hour from our wedding package to do our engagement shoot (was totally understanding that we were at the top end of our budget). We were amazed at how quickly she delivered the fully edited photos for both our eshoot and wedding. The photos and our experience with Ginny exceeded our expectations. Would definitely recommend her to anyone :)

    Ginny is amazing to work with. She's organized, upbeat, and empathetic, which is what makes her a great photographer. I would highly recommend her work.
