Resort at Squaw Creek,

We just would like to give a HUGE shoutout for hosting our wedding and letting us celebrate our special day at the resort with friends and family!
The resort is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and we are so happy and thankful we were able to use Squaw as a venue, especially with this being a destination wedding.
Friends, family and everyone else had nothing but wonderful things to say about the resort and will be recommending the resort to anyone!
What was suppose to be a fall wedding took a turn the day of and became a winter wedding! We couldn’t believe it, it snowed so much during the ceremony that it literally felt like we were in a snow globe or a hallmark movie!
I want to thank your team and give everyone who helped out a big shoutout to sticking it through the little snowstorm we had on wedding day!
I also would LOVE to give a HUGE shoutout to the event coordinator/event planning manager at resort at Squaw creek Aleece Rose.
She did an AMAZING job and was so sweet and helped us every step of the way best she could and made sure our wedding day was perfect! We can’t thank her enough for the support, kindness and knowledge!
Also, would like to thank Brett Fox (senior event sales manager) for helping us along the way and making sure things got done in order to have our special day!
We had made a few trips to Tahoe over the years, but this one was definitely one to remember!

Brett and Sylvia were AMAZING!!! They WILL do their best to accomodate you and help you as much as they possibly can. They are so friendly, nice, professional and responsive. The resort itself was absolutely beautiful - all of our guests were raving about the food, location, and the stay. There are so many things to do at the resort that your guests wont feel bored at all.

If you’re wedding venue hunting, I definitely recommend to check this place out!

My husband and I are in LOVE with Resort at Squaw Creek and have been since the first day we walked inside. It is absolutely beautiful, especially during the winter months. It's SO beautiful that we decided to get married here February of 2019 in the snow. Our wedding truly was a winter wonderland. Our ceremony was outside on the sun deck and offered the most beautiful winter backdrop I could ever imagine. We found so many gorgeous places outside to take photos. We held our reception at Six Peaks Grille inside the resort and utilized their back room for a whiskey tasting and the restaurants patio with a large fire pit for our cigar bar. The food was delicious. I couldn't get enough of the Butternut Squash Soup. The staff all the way from Valet to Event Coordinating was wonderful. Joleen was my favorite person to work with. If you are working with her you are in good hands. I would like to say thank you to the resort and staff for helping to make our wedding experience unforgettable.

My husband and I just got home from our dream wedding at the Resort at Squaw Creek last weekend. We had 100 people from the wedding staying at the resort and everyone was just wowed by the service, food, amenities, etc. We couldn't have picked a better spot. If our guests weren't eating and drinking at Sandy's Pub, they were all relaxing at the gorgeous pool or playing the lawn games.

A special shout out to Jenna and the entire team for helping create the wedding of our dreams.

The service is truly stellar. We were already fans of the resort before last weekend, but we will become regulars in the years ahead (Along with a lot of our guests as well!).

My husband & I got married at The Resort at Squaw Creek on July 28, 2018 and absolutely could not have been happier with our experience! The Event Coordinators, Jenna Western and Macy Sprock, were a joy to work with for the entire year leading up to our wedding. They were organized, informative and flexible with our needs. The hotel was a fantastic place to stay for us, family and friends the week of the wedding. Our guests raved about not only our wedding, but the entire experience the had during the days leading up to our wedding. The food was FANTASTIC - everything from cocktail hour, to the actual dinner to the delicious 3 flavors of cake we chose. The chef is amazing & the food was just as tasty the day of the wedding as it was during our tasting several months prior. The cake was able to personalized to exactly what I wanted it to look like & it was so nice to be able to order it through The Resort vs. finding another vendor. The Resort has several different locations for both ceremony & reception spaces and it was so nice to have options. If you prefer indoor vs. outdoor, deck vs. golf course - they have it all. We looked at several other venues in Lake Tahoe and while all are stunning, what stood out to us about The Resort at Squaw Creek is how "all inclusive" it is. Guests could stay there, they have wonderful pool/spa(s), have several restaurants, and a bar for us to enjoy after the wedding. They by far offered the most in one location vs. anywhere else we looked at & it was PERFECT for our guests who had traveled from near and far to be there for our wedding. Absolutely everything went smoothly the day of our wedding. There were a couple of last minute changes (as there often are with weddings!) & Jenna and her staff handled it extremely professionally. Everything turned out perfectly and I didn't have to worry about a thing the day of. I would recommend The Resort at Squaw Creek to anyone planning on getting married in Tahoe!!

We are so happy we chose Resort at Squaw Creek for our wedding. It is stunning. The entire staff (and especially Jenna Western and Macy Sprock) were true professionals- so warm and helpful. Planning was easy and only took a few meetings/calls- note that they do require that you have a day-of planner for a med-large wedding, but we appreciated having help on both sides. The resort offers so much in their package (catering, cake, tables, chairs, linens, arch, dance floor) that you only need to seek out a few other vendors. We received rave reviews from guests about the rooms, views, resort pool, food, and how many activities there were on site and in the valley. We could not recommend this place more for a wedding.

We used Resort at Squaw Creek as our wedding hotel and everything was perfect! The resort and views are beautiful and gave us a stunning background for first look wedding photos. The event team was very responsive and quick to answer any questions as well as help plan our wedding after party. Every element of our stay was perfect, down to the nightly chocolates and turn down service. We truly felt welcomed and look forward to more stays in the future.

Jenna went above and beyond to make our wedding a success. She worked with us and our planner to promptly answer questions, give suggestions, and setup. She is really an asset to the resort.
Dinner was served fast and the food was phenomenal. Highly recommend the resort for your wedding.

I must say, Squaw Creek Resort, and their Special Events Manager Allison Keasal are amazing. We just had our fall wedding there and the only word I keep saying is magical. With Allison, we received everything and more. The entire event exceeded my expectations. There really isn't a better venue and all our guests really enjoyed the experience of such a great place. The coordination really stands out to me also. Allison was there the entire event in the background making sure my wedding flowed. Thank you Allison for all you did for us, our guests, and our special day.

From the moment we first walked into the lobby with floor to ceiling breathtaking views of Squaw Valley and a huge stone wood-burning fireplace, and were greeted by extremely friendly staff members, we were incredibly pleased and impressed by this venue. Throughout the 11 months of planning prior to our wedding weekend, we interacted with their group sales department, catering, beverage buyers, banquet managers and course, Allison, the special events manager. Every person we worked with was extremely responsive and accommodating. They truly wanted our day to be exactly how we pictured it and did everything in their power to make that happen. And they absolutely succeeded.

We had a gorgeous ceremony on the Spa Deck followed by cocktail hour on the Sun Deck and an open sided tent reception in the Pavilion. You seriously cannot beat these views!! The resort provided beautiful chiavari chairs, round tables, complete place settings and we were even able to use the resort fire pits and outdoor furniture! Our menu was customizable and we were able to pick the beer and wine offered as well!

I think the best part about this venue, though, is that we were able to provide an entire weekend of fun for our guests. With multiple restaurants, a large pool area with a bar/restaurant, spa, and amazing rooms, you really don't need to leave! We got spa treatments one day, rented a cabana at the pool for our guests to enjoy another day, and after the wedding, we just walked over the bridge into Sandy's to continue the party! All weekend, and still today, our guests tell us how much fun they had, and how impressed they were with their whole experience with the hotel. They can't wait to go back, and neither can we!

This unbelievable setting, beautiful hotel, and incredible staff make The Resort at Squaw Creek and perfect place for a wedding. I highly recommend this venue!

My son and daughter-in-law were recently married at The Resort, and it was more than we had even dreamed possible. From the first email inquiry to the final contact with the billing department, every person we worked with was professional and truly invested in making sure that the event was what we wanted. We felt throughout the entire process that we were all on the same side and working towards the same goal.

Allison Keasal, the Special Events Manager, was amazing. She was so flexible and patient with our many questions, and her "can do" attitude was contagious. Carrie DeMange, the Revenue Manager, handled the room reservations with such ease - even though we had many people coming and going on different days that led to many special requests and changes. Allison and Carrie made all of the details fit into place behind the scenes so that we could truly enjoy the day.

The venue was everything we knew it would be. We’ve been visiting The Resort for years, and because it represents such special memories for our family it was the easy choice for the wedding weekend. The gorgeous location, delicious food, and wonderful people provided the bride and groom with the perfect day.

A great venue for weddings. They provided exceptional reception service and we certainly recommend the Resort.

We booked this venue "Sight Unseen"! The social catering manager, Ms. Tory Wilson, was the leading cause of success for our wedding. The resort was exceptional and breathtaking but Tory was the constant "Rock Star" for us! She was always ready for a "win-win" situation and made us feel like we were her only clients. Would highly recomment the resort because of this.
The food, beautiful cake, venue location and ease of use were top notch all the way around. A few hiccups...but life isn't interesting without them.

Resort at Squaw Creek was absolutely amazing. Tory was wonderful and made the wedding planning process a breeze. All my guests fell in love with the venue and the food. If you want to get married in the mountains of California, choose Resort at Squaw Creek!

The Resort at Squaw Creek was our top choice before we even visited the site, and it lived up to all we could have hoped for. It was our everything - ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, caterer, baker, after party, Sunday brunch, and hotel - and it was so convenient having everything (including many of our guests!) in one spot. The food was delicious, the site was gorgeous (and recently renovated!), the staff was always courteous and responsive, and we felt like royalty all weekend.

The best kudos I can give RSC, however, is that they were ready for ANYTHING. We got married on September 28, 2019, and our Wedding Day went from sunshine, to rain, to multiple inches of snow - not quite what we had planned for, but made for some amazing images and a pretty great story. We altered our plans for Ceremony + Cocktail Hour only a few hours beforehand but as a guest, you never would have known that it wasn't the wedding we'd been planning for 10 months. The indoor setup was absolutely gorgeous, and we so appreciated having such a beautiful Plan B for some truly crazy weather. In comparison, some couples who had booked outdoor-only wedding venues for our date were paying $10-15K for tents the week of the wedding. We never had to worry about whether or not our show would go on because we knew we were in great hands. Plus, you just can't beat the setting. Walk into their main lobby and the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows will take your breath away!

If you're craving a mountain wedding, we highly recommend RSC!

Our August ‘16 wedding at the Resort at Squaw Creek was a fairy tale. The venue itself is gorgeous, and the staff are all wonderful. Working with Allison Keasal was a joy. She was very personable and made sure that after each of our meetings she had gotten down all our wants and wishes. Some weeks communication was a little slower than others, but coming from Silicon Valley I can expect that we have higher expectations than most. We had our ceremony out on the Spa Deck and our reception, with 130 people, in the Cascades Restaurant. The Spa Deck was the most perfect backdrop for our ceremony, and Cascades was the perfect size for our reception to make us all feel connected and to help make the dance floor look constantly busy.
The wedding planning was fun. Which cannot always be said about weddings. The fact that the Resort took care of the venue, the tables, the chairs, the drinks, the food, the cake, and even the linens and AV, made our lives so much easier. Allison was pretty much our wedding planner. She was the one who worked with all the other vendors and Resort staff that were involved. The only item that could be improved is the room blocks and the communications surrounding them. Weekly updates on room status would have been nice instead of us having to check in continually. Yet, in regards to our suite it was gorgeous, and it was so nice to get ready just an elevator ride away from the venue.
The day of the wedding went amazingly smooth. Everything was set up as we had discussed and I never once had to discuss anything with the venue staff. Allison and the behind the scenes staff knew what they were doing. Honestly, the day of I forgot they were even there. Things just went that smoothly. The food was amazing. We received many comments from guests explaining how much they loved their entree. The cupcakes were a real hit as well.
I would highly recommend this venue for any couple looking to have a gorgeous wedding in the Sierras.

We had a beautiful intimate wedding in April and could not have asked for a better venue! The employees were so friendly and accommodating, and the resort was perfect for our families to stay during the week we were there together. The food and cake were delicious and the service was amazing. Many of the little details on the day of were taken care of and we truly didn't worry about a thing! This place was perfect and the views are incredible!
