Renée was the most wonderful photographer I could have ever asked for! We met Renée at a venue open house and immediately knew she was the one for us. We felt so connected to her and her images that she was the only photographer we met with.
Throughout the year leading up to the wedding, Renée was there every step of the way. She was so thorough with her questionnaires and planning guides that come wedding day, there was absolutely nothing to worry about. The wedding day was great and we had nothing to be nervous about with taking the pictures because we prepared with Renée during our engagement photos.
Renée is one of those people who you know is just an absolutely wonderful and genuine person at her core. I couldn’t recommend her more highly - anyone would be lucky to work with her! -

Renee was the most important and valuable vendor we hired - she takes stunning, natural-light photos with a romantic feel, but more importantly Renee is someone who we felt comfortable with and connected with easily. As much as I've dreamed of my wedding day, the reality of being the center of attention and in front of the camera was very intimidating. Renee made us feel at ease in our first video conference - and I LOVED that she met us via a video chat, it was so much more personal than a phone call. The nerves I felt at the start of our engagement session dissolved within the first five minutes. Renee kept us laughing, was so encouraging, and it was clear she genuinely loves her job and her couples. The engagement session was more than just taking photos, it was getting to know one another and by the end it felt like we were old friends! Throughout the wedding planning process, Renee kept in touch frequently via email and even over social media. I highly encourage to her on Instagram and Facebook! It's so much fun to see her work behind the scenes.
Renee goes above and beyond to prepare you for your big day - she created an amazingly detailed timeline for the day and addressed details I hadn't even considered! Renee also contacted all of our vendors so they were on the same page, which was extremely helpful in the last couple weeks of planning chaos. You can put all of your trust in her; the night before my wedding I realized I never confirmed with our florist where/when to deliver the flowers. I texted Renee at 10 pm and she answered immediately that she and the florist already had a plan, everything was ready to go and I didn’t need to worry. She is more than a photographer, she is essentially a day-of-coordinator. Your day will run smoothly and be perfect thanks to Renee! By the time our wedding day arrived I truly felt like Renee was part of our family. My family continues to sing her praise, not only for her absolutely gorgeous photos, but for her sweet, outgoing nature. Oh, and her photos! We received more photos than we were guaranteed in such a quick turn around! Renee sent us a few favorites just days after our wedding, posted a beautiful blog while she was on vacation with her family (what other vendors do that?!) AND sent us the entire gallery significantly earlier than the time frame she originally gave us. We can't stop looking at them-as cliche as it sounds, she has truly captured the joy and excitement of our day and we cannot thank her enough. Hiring Renee was the best decision we made for our wedding, and I'm confident you will get to experience the same joy we did. -

Megan Sent on 08/09/2018When planning my wedding, the photography was my number one priority. Finding a photographer that matched the quality I wanted but fit the budget I needed was not at all easy. After the first time I spoke with Renee I knew she was the best option! Renee is clearly an experienced professional. She has an incredible ability to go beyond the camera and make you feel like a friend.
From the very beginning, Renee was personable and 100% focused on what I visioned for my wedding. At our engagement session, she was SO bubbly and fun. After receiving our incredible pictures, we couldn't wait to see what she captured for our big day! During the entire process, Renee was there to answer any questions I had! She worked with us on our timeline and made a seamless plan. She was flexible and heard my every word.
When the big day came, Renee and her second photographer were AMAZING. They kept me at ease and made me feel like a beautiful bride! Renee made sure to get every shot we went over, and comforted me throughout the entire day. Without her, I can promise I wouldn't have been so cool, calm and collected! Within a day we had a preview image and a few days later she had an entire blog up! Her turn around was impressively quick. Our pictures turned out just as beautiful as we imagined and even a month and a half later, we're STILL getting so many compliments.

Emily Sent on 07/17/2018Renee did an AMAZING job. She over-delivered on everything from our engagement photos to our special day and she was always a pleasure to work with. She brought so much joy to our day, she wasn't just someone in the background, but someone that made us laugh and smile throughout the day and captured all of our most special moments. She is absolutely the sweetest person I've ever met and was open to all of our suggestions including me climbing up into a window a few feet off the ground in my wedding dress to get a shot I wanted. I would tell her an idea I had and she made it come alive exactly how I pictured (or even better). We loved getting to do an engagement shoot to get comfortable with her and we loved all of our photos from that as well. We booked her over a year before our wedding and she kept in touch with us very frequently throughout the year even when she didn't have to and always answered all of our questions. There's honestly not a single wedding photo I didn't like from Renee and she truly did an exceptional job. I 100% suggest Renee and wouldn't change our photos or experience for the world!

Kelly Sent on 07/12/2018Where do we begin?! From the first time we met Renee, she immediately made my husband and I feel 100% comfortable. Neither of us had been in front of a professional camera before and were very nervous to say the least. Renee immediately made us feel confident and at ease, even teaching us how to appear more relaxed in front of the camera all while having a blast doing it! She was more than flexible throughout our entire wedding planning process and truly made us feel like she was willing to do whatever it took to make our dream wedding a reality. We do not have enough kind and appreciative words to say to Renee for the amount of professionalism, kindness, and flexibility she showed my husband and I at the most exciting time of our lives. We would highly recommend Renee Nicolo Photography to any of our family & close friends, knowing that they would be in the BEST of hands. Bravo to Renee for all of her hard work and dedication.

Before ending up with Renée, we had originally selected a wedding photographer which proved to be less than ideal, and they were giving us a difficult time regarding various issues, which was heartbreaking because that is the last thing anyone wants to deal with when planning a wedding! Right around the time that we were trying to distance ourselves from the other photographer, Renée swooped in, and she proved to literally be an answer to prayer! I originally met Renée through the small group at church we were both in, during which time I had NO IDEA she was a photographer, let alone a wedding photographer, let alone such a talented one! She empathized with us and was so willing—and excited!—to work with us throughout all of the preparations leading up to the big day on August 18th. Her excitement, her enthusiasm for what she does, was evident in every aspect. She is so sweet, and her joy is contagious! And, her work is excellent. Her photos are simply breathtaking, and I was so excited upon receiving them. She truly captures the beauty and the emotions of the day. She also kept me so calm when I was getting ready before the ceremony started. Need I say more? She is incredible, and besides being so sweet and fun, she is incredibly professional! She also gives you a complimentary engagement session beforehand, which also helps with nerves because you get to get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day! You will not regret selecting her for your wedding or engagement photos. She is more than just a photographer, she creates a relationship with you and shares in your excitement every step of the way. And she is great with thinking out logistics. We are blessed to have had her photograph our wedding. Thank you, Renée! :) <3
