    Jennifer Jenkins at World Golf Village is absolutely amazing! She is beyond helpful and made sure our day was seamless, and we cannot thank her enough!!! Absolutely recommend to all brides you will be so lucky to have her!

    The Renaissance went above and beyond helping make my March wedding day so special! We held our ceremony outdoors on La Terrazza under the gazebo, had our cocktail hour inside the hotel's beautiful atrium, and then proceeded with our plated dinner reception in the grand ballroom! There are several other options for ceremony, cocktail and reception too! For our reception, we chose the plated dinner and opted for a consumption bar since my side of the family doesn't drink. The hotel has many, many different dinner and bar packages as well. They can accommodate buffet dinners and even a wine/beer only bar, not to mention they have several different tiered options. They are also really great about accommodating any cultural meals and specialty diets. We gave our guests the choice between chicken and short rib, but if children meals, vendor meals, or vegetarian dinners are needed they will happily make those available. Note, you do have to use the resort for your food and beverage vendor, but I assure you that you won't be disappointed. It seems very overwhelming, but if you book with the resort you will also get complimentary help from the resorts event planner. In my case, I had Emiliana and she was truly terrific; easy to work with and always quick to respond to my calls/emails. I must say when I had first booked my wedding here, I told Emiliana all my ideas and she was set on executing them. But then a little over a month before the wedding, when my husband and I met for our food tasting (which was phenomenal) I had a change of heart and wanted to do a complete 180 on the ideas I originally set. The hotel and staff happily accommodated my changes, even the ones I threw in a week before the wedding!! I am very grateful for the amount of work and effort that was put in to help with mine and my husband's special day and can honestly say this was the best and easiest decision I had ever made, aside from marrying my love.

    My wedding was flawless. A beautiful outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. The food and service were great. Jennifer in sales was helpful and easy to work with.

    My entire family and wedding party stayed at the hotel for our wedding weekend. I had my rehearsal dinner at the restaurant as well. Everything was so great, and we all had a great time. The staff went above and beyond to make the weekend extra special. Our rehearsal dinner was wonderful, the food was great, they even decorated and had personalized menus for the party. They were constantly checking up on our room to make sure we had everything we needed. Michelle was who I worked with first to set up the reservations for our wedding party, and everything was smooth. Frank was also great getting everything ready for the rehearsal dinner. My family loved the bar area too. I will say when I was walking to my wedding, one if the valets so me walking in my huge dress and offered me a ride to my car, which I thought was really sweet. The hotel was great, the food was good, and the staff was awesome. Would def. recommend this place.

    I loved the venue and Misty. She was on top of everything. They went above and beyond making sure we had the date and space we wanted, despite many changes on my end. They were so understanding and helpful. I would recommend getting your own wedding planner for details outside the hotel as they only coordinate things within the hotel. But within the hotel, Misty is on top of everything. The day of, I didn't have to do anything. Everything was taken care of by the hotel staff. They didn't even ask me questions. They had gone through everything in advance so they wouldn't have to.
    We are big into food and they let us have multiple food tastings until we were in love with the menu. They had a gentleman there dedicated to us the night of the wedding for anything we might want or need. The wait staff catered to us as well. We were the first to get our food, the main guy was constantly checking on us and he was beyond friendly and professional! He even boxed my food without asking when I got pulled away (which happens a lot during your wedding because all your guests want time with you). The room was perfectly laid out just the way we wanted. They let us bring the decorations in ahead of time and keep them at the hotel so we didn't have to worry the morning of.
    We stayed at the hotel the week before the wedding as well and everything was just perfect. I felt like royalty! The room and staff were amazing. Should something go wrong, just let them know and they will fix it. They want you to have the best experience and everything you want! Misty is amazing and will make you feel so comfortable and you can feel good knowing that if she says something, she is going to do it!
    You only get one chance to do this, and you don't know what you don't know. It was so nice to work with someone who clued me into everything and made sure it was done right the first time.

    From the start of wedding planning, I envisioned my wedding at the Renaissance World Golf Village. With a large wedding with a large number of guests from out of town, this resort worked out perfectly. From the rehearsal dinner that was beyond what I had asked for to the ceremony and reception that was PERFECT, the Renaissance did an amazing job in executing my vision. I never had to lift a finger all weekend and Norm was the best. Jennifer worked continuously to make sure every detail was taken care of. The hotel did an amazing job taking care of every guest and made sure we had what we needed. The food was amazing. I wanted "comfort food" and they delivered. I would recommend the Renaissance World Golf Village to any bride and groom that wants a wedding where your guests don’t have to leave the resort area.

    My daughter and myself selected this resort as her wedding venue and our primary contact was Misty Beasley.
    She was available when we requested. As I never had experience with them, I was little skeptical as to whether they will meet with my expectation. I insisted certain staff availability ad sure enough Misty was on top
    of it and was available during the event as well. For ethnic reasons, we had outside catering and the kitchen
    and the staff were available when needed. We stayed there at hotel and we were happy. Over all I will not
    hesitate to recommend this place. If you communicate properly, the expectations can be met.

    Just had my wedding here and it was beautiful! With that said the day before the wedding when we went to make our last payment it was $1000 more thAn what we were quoted in the contract because of "service fees" on the ceremony. This was unknown and was even a questioned asked before the contract was signed. Also, our wedding was the same day as a charity event done by Blake Bortles. We were told we had to move our reception because his even would be too loud. We were informed this 10 days before our wedding. We moved to reception to the Hall of Fame next door and was beautiful. I did feel like the staff did not care about my even because they had the celebrity golf tournament that day. The only thing that was offered for our inconvenience was a signature drink during cocktail hour and the extra cost for Hall of Fame covered ( which should of been since it was their mess up). Didn't offer a discount and didn't offer to have the charity event have noise control considering my wedding contact was signed months before this. Overall it was beautiful but the customer service sucked because unless your famous they don't care and will move your wedding a week before.

    If I could give this venue a 0 I would. Our wedding would have been perfect had we had it anywhere else. Not enough staff nor were they informed of what to do nor did they even care. For the amount of money spent nothing was executed correctly and we are disappointed to know that even after all that went wrong ,and there were many things very wrong during our big day, that we have no recourse. Do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money at a different venue.
