Renaissance Milwaukee West is a stunning venue and hotel. The sexy and chic vibe drew our attention. The event manager, Jason, goes above and beyond to make the experience and wedding day outstanding. He takes things off your plate so you can simply enjoy the special time. His execution and passion made our day perfect. The food was exceptional and the rooms are gorgeous. Having the hotel rooms and ballroom all at one place made it so easy for us and our guests. The location is also wonderful being next to a mall. I cannot say enough great things about this venue.

As a wedding coordinator/designer for the last 6 years I have had the privilege of working with some of the best in the industry. The entire staff, especially the Sales & Catering Manager, Jason were exceptional to work with and can be coined as one of the best. They were wonderfully accommodating & knowledgeable in their field. As a coordinator it is wonderful to see hands on event staff that stepped in to ensure a smooth event for the bride and groom. Cannot express the gratitude and appreciation for the entire Staff at The Renaissance Milwaukee West. Thank you for helping make this wedding spectacular.

I cannot express how PERFECT everything about this venue was for our wedding. First off, the hotel is so unique and gorgeous. We had our ceremony in the pre-function space, the cocktail hour in the 12th floor lounge, and reception in the ballroom. We got SO many compliments on how beautiful the hotel was and how people had never been to a space like it before. Second, the food was amazing! We did different stations of risotto, ham, salad, and sliders and everything was delicious. We also got so many compliments on the food. All of the staff from the front desk to the servers and bartenders were all so helpful and kind. And lastly, but definitely not least - Chantal, the coordinator, was beyond amazing! When we first toured the place, I knew I loved it just because of how helpful and accommodating she was. From that day on - she was super responsive and would go to any length to have exactly what we wanted for our day. Meeting with her the week before our wedding calmed my nerves so much just seeing how in charge she was of everything - I didn't have to worry about a thing. She was also there onsite the day of and even found me safety pins when my dress bustle broke. So thank you again, Chantal, for making our dream day a reality!

The team at the Renaissance was great. They were helpful and most importantly patient. As a couple planning a wedding we are juggling many things so the team and Lisa were extremely patient and always followed up. They made planning our wedding easy and stress free.

Professional team of positive individuals who help make your special day flawless. They give you a free night stay in the bridal suite and expect little thoughtful gifts along the way.

The Renaissance charged an additional $2000 after what i was told was the final bill. Renaissance acknowledge via email that it was a “system error. I subsequently had correspondence with the hotel and the only follow through after seven business days was to charge my credit card. I will now submit this for credit card dispute with my credit card company.

Also many previously discussed details were not followed through with.

There were to be no riser platformdue to the bride’s train. We received risers.
The bride’s family meal was served an hour and fifteen minutes after the first meal was served.



I wish I could rate this higher because it is a lovely new building and the food (when we were finally served) was good but there are many venues that are appealing and have good food. For what the venue costs, it is not worth it if they don’t listen to the requests. Customer service must be a priority.
