Renaissance Indianapolis North Hotel Reviews

We loved having our guests stay at the Renaissance for our Ritz Charles wedding. The value was surprisingly unbeatable ($129/night) for the nicest hotel in the area. We even had the semi private restaurant area at no charge for breakfast the next morning. McKenzie was great! We booked a king suite with a connecting double for the bridesmaids the night before and got ready in there the morning of. Then we had the king suite for our wedding night.

We worked with Laura Vautaw and she was AWESOME! I cannot begin to say how amazing everyone at the Renaissance made our day! As a full time student, I was crunched for time in setting up and handling every detail and I felt like I could trust everything that they were doing. On the day of the wedding, they offered us a place for me and my bridesmaids to get ready (allowing us to check in on setting up our reception), and when the cocktail hour food ran out too quickly, fixed the problem immediately and threw in a champagne toast for all of our guests! She made us relax and I was truly able to enjoy my day. After arriving from the ceremony after pictures, she had drinks and food laid out for my husband and I in a separate room and coordinated with the DJ for our entrance. She made everything so special for us, even going so far as having Coca-cola for my husband, who loves it! She even set up food in our hotel suite, which we didn't think we would want, but we found ourselves starving at the end of the night. All in all, the Renaissance was a great value - amazing food, drinks, and atmosphere, as well as customer service!

I had my wedding reception at the Renassiance, and I could not have asked for a more perfect experience. I cannot thank Lauren, the event planner, enough for all her hard work to make my wedding such a success. I met her several months before the wedding and from that time until the day after the wedding, she did everything to make it perfect. She really made me comfortable at the beginning showing me different variations of their wedding package and working with me to help me fit my budget. She was always very prompt at returning emails and phone calls. I was planning a wedding from out of town, and she worked with my limited schedule so I could come in and pick the meal and the linens and went above and beyond to contact me when it was getting close to deadlines and she had not heard from me yet. I also had to make changes with the number of people and tables the week of the wedding and they were able to make the changes without any problem.

The area where we did the cocktail hour and the banquet hall are beautiful and fun with very modern colors. They set up the room beautifully and there was plenty of room for dancing. I loved that they allowed me to pick for many different colors of linens and table cloths at no extra charge so they matched my wedding colors perfectly. The food was delicious and we were able to pick sides that were a little unique so it made the meal special. Our waiter that evening (I forget his name) was fantastic and always made sure my husband and I were well taken care of, and from talking with my family it sounds like that was the situation with everyone. They also had a space in the morning where we were able to have breakfast with family and friends, and again the service was great.

There were little things that were not perfect; however, I think it is a true test is how they responded to it. And they did a great job fixing the "issues" that came up to make the entire weekend everything I expected and more.

Amazing to work with. Make you feel like you are the most important person in the world. Amazing selection of room, linens, menus and set up. Not to mention the rooms there are amazing. For a great modern wedding or even a traditional wedding, this is the place to go.
