David was attentive and accommodating. He made our wedding planning process a pleasure. He did so much more than just helping us pick our gorgeous floral arrangements and decor -- he served as a secondary wedding planner for me and my family! He had fantastic ideas and took the time to meet with us on several occasions to work out all of the details, and he always made us feel like we were his number one priority. Everyone was blown away by our wedding day flowers and decor -- everything we discussed was there, but it was even more beautiful than any of us could have imagined!

We cannot thank David and his team enough for the wonderful job they did at our wedding. David is a true professional and talent. He made our vision of "French Country Wedding" come to life. I had full trust in David from the very first phone call. His flowers arrangements were so gorgeous. I was so excited when he brought them into my suite while getting ready. David also worked with our budget and was very understanding. We recommend his services and TALENT to anyone that is getting married and needs a trusted vendor that will be there for you every step of the way.

David and his team are top notch, classy, creative, friendly and inspiring to work with. We had our wedding at Hall of Springs in Saratoga, NY, and after just one conversation with David, I knew he understood the vision we had for the space. When I walked in on my wedding day, I was stunned by how above and beyond he went to make the room gorgeous. I would highly, highly recommend Renaissance Floral.

Stunning Work!

I absolutely loved working with David & Troy. Despite being out-of-state, the planning process was very easy. They were willing to work within a budget – unlike some of the other vendors I had spoken with. The arrangements were absolutely gorgeous, and it was incredible to see the vision come to life so effortlessly!

David and renaissance floral design was the mastermind behind both of my daughters weddings. He is one of the most creative artistic talented people I have ever come in contact with! Not only does my whole family and many of my friends use him for various occasions but he has become one of our favorite family friends. I have been going to RFD for 15 years and hes never disappointed in all that time! Not only is he talented but his sense of humor and caring personality makes it such a pleasure to do business with him and all the staff at RFD!

I just want to say Thank You for making my daughters wedding weekend truly magical. It was truly a dream come true. I was totally blown away from the minute I stepped around the corner to see what a magnificent area you had created from this plain patio area at the resort to this full blown gorgeous outdoor area for the festivities the night before the wedding was to take place. The colors of the tablecloths to the choice of flowers/containers and the " Barcelona lights " was such a elegant yet simple touch to set the pace for the wedding the next day. This was a " wow " for sure.

You and your crew performed what I would call a miracle of miracles on the " tent " at the resort. As you know, I was very nervous to say the least that the existing tent could look so inviting and elegant. Again, when I entered the room after the wedding ceremony- I was totally speechless. From the gorgeous tablecloths,flower arrangements,chandeliers and the most beautiful monogram on the black dance floor- is beyond words. It took my breathe away.

The room was then transformed the next morning for the brunch which was again truly amazing. I am looking forward to working with you on future events for Carissa and Scot down the road. I am still receiving so many compliments about what a magical weekend it was for all involved . Thanks again to you and all your staff.

I have affectionately nicknamed David Michael Schmidt of Renaissance Floral Design our wedding wizard. With his magic & talent he created an absolutely stunning winter wonderland wedding for me & my husband, Tom. We couldn't have been any more impressed by what he made possible, & throughout the whole process we felt like we had a friend & teammate working to pull off our vision. We didn't get in touch with David until about 2 months before the wedding but he took the tight timeline in stride & was so efficient in communication. My hubby & I live in China but I'm from NY & he's from England & our wedding was in Vermont. Despite the time difference/distance, we never felt far from the incredible service David & his team provide. He's a genuine genius & genie that made more than 3 of our wishes come true. The level of detail that David makes possible to get down to was so appreciated by me as a fairly ridiculous perfectionist. Getting super granular on our very first phone call put me at ease even though I was standing in the corner of a restaurant in China. He's an absolute delight to work with & every bride should be so lucky as to have his vision, help & expertise. I had tears in my eyes when he revealed the room for our reception. Everything was perfect... from the linens, to the flower arrangements, to the jaw-droppingly beautiful tree his staff had display all the name cards for seating guests. David is and his team are all just the best kind of people to surround yourself with on a special day. We didn't get the pleasure of meeting David or visiting his gorgeous store & showroom until 4 days before our wedding. We left his store with a bunch of purchases... I was like the chubby kid in Willy Wonka's factory. I'm now helping some of my best friends plan their wedding & have asked them to use David. I will continue to recommend him to all my friends as they get married or throw big parties. He is the very best!

Renaissance Floral was an excellent vendor to work with. David was able to translate my vision into beautiful wedding flowers. The entire staff there is incredibly friendly, responsive and accommodating. They were always very good about answering questions and even when I had a few changes, they always provided me with many options. They also are mindful of keeping you within your budget.

We had a great experience with this vendor and I would highly recommend using them on your wedding day.

It's been over a year since our wedding and there isn't a week that goes by that someone doesn't mention how amazing our wedding turned out, or we don't say how much we loved it. Honestly, from the first meeting with David we were sold and we had so much fun working through what we had envisioned with him making thoughtful suggestions and weaving in his amazing creative ideas. We looked forward to our working sessions every time and we were actually sorry we didn't have a reason to keep working with him afterward. Maybe our tenth anniversary? He thought of every detail right down to hand delivering a special bouquet of my favorite flowers the day of the wedding with a note from my soon-to-be husband. He knew what would work best with the venue we chose and had good relationships with our other vendors. We didn't have to sweat the details even though we are detail people. We couldn't have done it without him. Everyone should have such a great partner when they're planning their wedding.

Cannot recommend RFD enough! David and his team approached our wedding (probably a small project on their big list) with 100% professionalism, commitment and creativity. I had some broad/sweeping ideas and David further defined our vision and worked hard to stay within our budget. I felt very taken care of by David. Not once did I have to worry that David wasn't understanding what my vision was as he is a very good communicator. He is kind and realistic. RFD heightened the elegance and glam of our wedding day--I am so glad we chose David and his team. A total pleasure to work with.

We loved working with David and he made our wedding day look beautiful. The flowers he provided were perfect for the tables, the bridesmaids, and me. He matched what we were looking for exactly.

The room at our reception was magical, with candles delicately placed on all the ledges and tables, and intermingled with flowers and moss. Everything showed just the right amount of elegance and subtle beauty.

I highly recommend using Renaissance Floral Design if you want to add an extra layer of beauty to your day. If you want the best vendor for flowers, lighting and decor in the region, then you should choose Renaissance Floral Design.

The BEST wedding florals I could have ever imagined!

Wow.. I am still in awe at how beautiful the RFD team made my wedding venue look! Absolutely spectacular artistry and professionalism from each and every team member. They were so easy to work with, accommodating, and worked with us to get our dream wedding within our budget. Cannot recommend enough! Thank you Renaissance Floral Design!

The truth is, we totally blew our budget for floral expenses, but I honestly think David and his team delivered and made it all worthwhile. I tend to be a pretty visual person, but had trouble visualizing what our end product might look like after a couple of consultations. In fact, I was shown a photo of what was described as a similar floral arrangement and got nervous that it was going to look nothing like what I was hoping for/expecting.

Then came our wedding day, and in came the bouquets while the girls were getting ready. That was the first time my mind was blow. The combination of flowers I had requested (roses, peonies, orchids sitting on a bed of hydrangea) was just so stunning. The colors (blush, white) complemented our wedding color themes with such elegance. The boutonnieres were beautifully prepared. I wasn't sure what to expect when we agreed that the groom (now husband!!) would wear an orchid boutonniere, but it, like my bouquet, was just so elegant (second time my mind was blown). The flowers at the alter were rich and blossomed beautifully against the green lawn and the backdrop of Lake George (third time mind was blown, and many more to come). The center pieces were just so romantic with all the candles... it was sheer perfection. Oh, and then the peonies that were wired for my hair... It completed the picture and made the whole event feel like one exquisite dream.

Simply stated, I think David is a visionary when it comes to his trade. His shop is beautiful, his notes (as you describe your ideas) are carefully taken, he works with your budget without pressuring you, his team is responsive, and his end product is just magic. Couldn't have asked for better.

David and the Renaissance team did an incredible job creating the most beautiful ambience for our wedding! He was able to listen to my vision, provide suggestions and translate everything into reality. The bouquets, centerpieces, vases, linens, candles, etc. were all so elegant and tasteful. The chuppah and ceremony decor literally took my breathe away when I saw it! So many of our family and friends comments on how beautiful everything looked. I 100% recommend Renaissance to any bride-to-be, you won't be disappointed!!!

Oh David Michael! He Truly is a wedding and event wizard! He made my wedding look like a fairytale! He is beyond one of the most fun, creative and easiest people to work with and he will work with any budget. ( I might also add he is very patient) He was able to transform our wedding venue into the most romantic, gorgeous, mystical, reception ever. The wedding would not have been what it was without him. He is so much more than just a florist. He also coordinated all of our rentals for us chairs, curtains, etc. He had such great ideas and suggestions and truly made the process so much fun for my mother and I. All of the guests at the wedding could not believe the flowers and the decorations and the lighted curtain. The guests were “wowed”. We cannot thank him enough for all of his hard work! He even had a broken foot the day of my wedding, and came to my inn, and delivered my bouquets to me in a walking boot! !!!He truly is the best! If you want a reception to wow your guests he is your guy!

The flowers transformed the room and transformed the wedding; the outside ceremony was enhanced by David's vision which did not compete with the beauty of the site; the so so reception room was transformed into the grandest and most beautiful venue ever by the flowers. The attention to detail and freshness of the flowers was without equal. I don't think any florist in the area could have pulled this off for us except renaissance.

I can't say enough good things about David and his shop and staff at Renaissance Floral! He is great to work with, we had a consultation at the shop as well as communicated via email and had a final meeting and the end result was spectacular! The flowers were exactly as I'd hoped, it was a dream! David set the dining room at the Lake Placid Lodge perfectly with beautiful center pieces and many candles, it was so lovely. He had a great idea to display the glass ornaments my husband made on this amazing tree that he brought up to the lodge. He made wrist corsages for the ladies with pearl bands, they were perfect. He worked creatively within my budget which was extremely thoughtful and helpful! I highly recommend David and Renaissance Floral!

Renaissance did a phenomenal job for my wedding. David has such effortless vision and really transforms a space. He is more than a "florist" he is a designer. I really enjoyed working with him and his staff and couldn't have been happier with my event.

David was GOD SENT! The whole team at Renaissance is incredible. David helped remind me that it was only about what I wanted for my wedding which was helpful due to bridesmaid stress. He is understanding and a great person to have during the stressful wedding planning process. He is tasteful and knowledgeable about the designs, Center pieces, colors, integrity of the flowers etc. David used my flowers pinned on Pinterest to guide his designs. On my wedding day the bouquet was a dream and I loved my bridesmaid bouquets. I left my bouquet and a bridesmaid bouquet in my apartment for 7 days (honeymoon) and the flowers were still as colorful and moist. It just shows how high quality the flowers were. Thank you David.

David did the flowers for my best friends wedding last year. He did a beautiful job with her wedding so I booked him myself. I met with him several times and he really listened to what I had said. I loved the flowers and the bouquest were beautiful and unique and I couldn't have been happier! He really knew both the ceremony location as well as the reception site and did a wonderful job... David’s creations are truly breathtaking! He was able to turn my random Pinterest posts into an absolutely amazing cohesive event. The centerpieces, birch logs for the escort cards, and bouquets were more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. I was truly in awe when I walked into the ballroom and saw what David and his team had created! Staff at the Country Club where we held our wedding even commented how beautiful our centerpieces were! David and his team were responsive to my emails and questions and willing to work within my established budget. I was impressed with the personal attention David provided my wedding, even knowing that he had larger weddings happening during our wedding weekend. He sent me texts the day before the wedding to show me pictures of the bouquets and centerpieces as they were being put together. He even contacted me the day after the wedding, as he wanted to ensure we were happy with everything. I would strongly recommend David and his Renaissance Floral Design team to any bride!

Stunning wedding flowers

Working with David from RFD was amazing throughout the entire wedding process! From our very first consultation, he took the time to understand our vision and really listened to what we wanted. His and his team's creativity and expertise turned our ideas into the most stunning floral arrangements we could have ever imagined.

The bouquets, centerpieces, and floral installations were all absolutely gorgeous and beyond our expectations. Each piece was carefully crafted with such attention to detail, and the flowers were fresh, vibrant, and perfectly matched our color palette.

On the day of the wedding, everything was delivered on time, set up beautifully, and added such a magical touch to the entire celebration. The florist was a true professional, making sure everything was perfect and helping to create the atmosphere we had always dreamed of.
