If I said we didn't eat our wedding leftovers for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a little over a week because they were THAT good, I'd be lying.
Get the mashed potatoes you won't regret it! Best mashed potatoes ever, people still talk about them nearly a month later! -

The food was AMAZING! I haven’t heard a single complaint about the food. Being the bride, I didn’t get to each much, but I did eat the appetizers. I highly suggest the bacon wrapped scallops! -

From the appetizers to dinner and overall service, I am so happy that I went with Renaissance Catering. I met with in-laws the morning after the wedding (which was on 12/21/19) and I overheard a couple saying how delicious the roasted potatoes were. And a friend was raving about the cheese selection in the fruit and cheese mirror appetizer. This catering company is a class act all the way. They even provided the linens and chair covers which made the whole room look gorgeous. I highly recommend them to cater for a wedding. -

We used Renaissance for both our wedding catering, and our cake and could not have been happier. The entire staff is SO friendly and really goes out of their way to make your day special and easy! I have food allergies and they knew exactly how to work me and make sure that I did not have to worry at all on my day. Jessica was so friendly and dealt with me calling her and asking 500 questions leading up to my wedding day. On the day of, they worked quickly and had a beautiful display. They also went out of their way to help me when the wind was blowing my decor over & helped me put my cake topper in last minute. All of the guests absolutely loved the food and the cupcakes & cake. I highly recommend Renaissance if you are looking for delicious food, and a trustworthy and helpful team. Could not have been happier! -

Food was fabulous!
The food was awesome, the servers at the wedding we so great, they made sure I knew everything was under control. I did not worry for one minute about it that evening! So great to work with!!! -

Very easy to work with and great food!
Renaissance catering was fantastic! I had a lot of questions and Jessica answered them all! I went with the silver package which included chair covers/sashes and a few other goodies that made my tables look truly beautiful. My guests were raving about the food all night. -

Chef Tony was the best.. very sweet guy. He made sure my husband and I was happy. My husband loved the food dispite his picky ways with food., I was very impressed. My guests also loved the food. Price was affordable too. -

Carrie Sent on 04/13/2016Renaissance Catering did a phenomenal job for our wedding! First of all, the food was absolutely incredible! We have received several compliments from many of our guests saying that it was the best wedding food they'd ever eaten, and I agree! And there was SO MUCH food! We had 2 salads, 2 entrees, 2 sides, 2 vegetables, bread, champagne, and a coffee bar that were all provided by the caterer. They were amazing the day of the wedding and arrived very early, set up our tables exactly how we wanted and provided beautiful linens, chair covers and chair sashes. They made SO MUCH extra food that we had TONS of left overs, which they packaged up for us. The staff was very friendly and polite, very professional. The only single negative thing that I would say is that the bartender they provided looked miserable the entire time and wasn't really following the directions for one of our signature drinks, which the guests thought were horrible. That wasn't enough to bring down my rating though. It was a great company to work with, they really put a lot of thought into their menu and it just tasted out of this world! -

Talia Sent on 11/24/2015I was supposed to have family cooking for my wedding but, my spirit told me that those plans wouldn't follow through. So, my mom and I tried to get a caterer we knew to cater the wedding. He was charging $4500 and we just did not have that. Therefore, I went to a tiny bridal show in Maitland in hopes of finding a caterer 4 months til the wedding (yikes!). I almost left because I was disappointed how there were not that many caterers there. Once again, my spirit led me to a room that was close to the exit, and I dropped my name and info off in their box. A nice lady contacted me and scheduled a tasting. The first caterer didn't even give me a tasting! The first bite had my husband sold and he's a picky eater. The price sold me! It was way more affordable for my mom and I. The chef and his wife were very pleasant to work with and I was stuffed every time I did a tasting because he gave us so much food! (That's right. I had two tastings!) Thank you so much for the very wonderful job you did at the wedding. Everyone loved the food! -

We found Renaissance through many recommendations., both online and through friends and family.
The food for our wedding was absolutely fantastic. We requested a special menu (Cuban-style pork dinner, sides, and appetizers), and they not only matched it but through in some better ideas!
They were occasionally difficult to get a hold of, but when it came to the day of our special event, we could not have asked for anyone better. The staff was friendly, helpful, and went above our expectations to meet our needs and our guests'! -

They were also very reasonable in making alterations to existing plans if certain services included were not needed. It was sometimes difficult to get prompt responses, but in the end I would use them again if I had the chance and highly recommend them -

While we didn't reserve them as our caterer, we did consider them for a close second. They have very good prices for the amount of food they provide. They include tablecloths, dishes and the works, but are not flexible in their hours or package, so beware that what they provide is just about it. We asked change the hours so they could leave after dinner and before the end of the night so we could have a long night of dancing, they would not oblige even though the kitchen and food would be in a closed off room. -

We were so excited to hire RC, the food during tastings was amazing and the head chef was so personable. We were Disappointed when it came to our wedding day. The cateres arrived late, minutes before the ceremony. They were scheduled to be there two hours earlier, and our ceremony and reception were at the same location. After arriving the staff asked our GUESTS for assistance in setting up the tables, the employeed did not look professional as they had on dirty clothes. They also became upset and verbalized so to guests and the groom that the tables were not numbered (we had a buffet so it was unnecessary). The staff was not personable and rude to multiple guests for their own negligence and mistakes. The staff came without ice, and other tools necessary, we were unprepaired to provide these as we were told that RC would provide them. They took the ice from the bar and left the bar with no ice to serve guests. We would NOT hire them again or recommend them to others. -

I had a pretty terrible experience with your catering service. The caterers were nowhere to be found when they needed to cut the cake, it took us forever to find someone to cut it, when they cut the cake they cut all of it at once and terribly. After the party they threw out all of the cake. We didn’t have a tea or station or coffee or cups at all and we had to scramble and run to get coffee and cream and sugar and cups. They threw all the bread out on top of the tables at the end of the night. We gave them aluminum pans because we had extra food and those guys just threw it out. Appetizers were never brought to us as we discussed while we were getting ready for pictures and instead they gave them to us after all the food was brought out. All the plastic boxes were piled up on the dance floor next to the DJ for everyone to see and we had to wait thirty minutes for them to put stuff away so we can walk onto the dance floor so the bridal party could be announced and before we could seat to eat. Before the party they threw all the garbage on the grass right outside of the tent and we saw piles of garbage as we walked outside in the morning.
Overall very disappointed and I feel like I was not provided what was discussed and paid for and the service was terrible.
The company responded when I told them about all this and said they were basically not responsible for the staff because it was a different company but I would have to come in or since I’m out of town have a phone conference with them (and waste more of my time) and they will take it out of their paychecks but that I shouldn’t punish the dishwashers.
How dare they make me feel guilty about their screw up!? They said in the email that they would send me a check but over a month later still no check and no response to emails or phone calls. If they say they took it from the staff they contracted and since they didn’t return it to me, looks like they might have just kept it.
