The Renaissance Cake Company team were an absolute joy to work with, and we highly recommend them! We went into our tasting thinking we knew what we wanted, but then we tasted the Snickerdoodle cake option and knew it would be perfect for our winter wedding! Larry and the team kept us up-to-date on how things were going and were very open to how we wanted it to look, and we could not have been happier with how the final product turned out! -

The cake tasting was fun. It was so hard to choose from the many flavors that were available but my daughter chose white chocolate, and the groom chose amaretto. The Bride's cake was made just the way my daughter wanted it made. It turned out so elegant. It was perfect! The groom's cake was just adorable. Far exceeded what he wanted.
They delivered it all the way to Fort Worth and it arrived in perfect condition.
They were very easy to work with, did exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend this bakery! -

My husband was not pleased with any cake until we tasted the samples! We had beautiful wedding cake - buttercream icing, 3 layers Mexican vanilla & 1 layer chocolate. A few dozen cupcakes - lemon and chocolate. We were able to rent a cake stand & cupcake stand as well. Super nice people & great service. Met us within 10 days for tasting, sent receipts upon receiving payment & were so patience with us during our meeting since I wasn’t 100% sure about the cake style. They are so creative, just look at other reviews! The cake was still moist 2 days after the wedding; my little treat on our honeymoon. I am so glad a family member recommended this shop, perfect!!! I will definitely use them in the future.

They did such a great job on our cakes! I chose a 5 tier gold and white cake and added navy ribbon and blush roses. They do fake layers which help cut down on costs. My groom chose a Mario cake and was very specific about how he wanted the coins and Mario to look. We also wanted to incorporate our wiener dogs in our wedding so they added cupcakes to go around the Mario cake and make the cupcakes into a wiener dog with a bow! I don't have pictures back from the photographer yet, but we were blown away when we saw our cakes! The gold was beautiful and not a dull color and the dachshund cupcakes were adorable around his Mario cake. The cake was moist and tasted great and most importantly, they were affordable. I highly recommend! -

Jeff and Larry with Renaissance Cake Company did an outstanding job capturing the vision we had for our bride and grooms cake. We wanted the grooms cake to be Sam from the Trick or Treat movie and the cake looked like something that came out of the movies. It came to life with creativity and perfection and was beyond what we expected – Jeff is a true artist. Not only was it magnificent in design it was moist and delicious! The brides cake table displayed three cakes and all were exactly as we discussed. We chose almond and Mexican cinnamon for the brides cake and chocolate fudge for the grooms - the cake flavors were exceptional!!! I wanted to eat the whole almond cake myself because it melted in your mouth. Not only were they able to work within our budget the quality of the cakes were excellent. We would highly recommend them! -

They also made a delicious cake for my 50th surprise party this August & now we are placing our third order for a 25th birthday party this Saturday, this shows how much we LOVE their delicious cakes. Amanda Sent on 10/26/2017I don't even know where to begin! Our experience was beyond exceptional. The pricing was very cheap, compared to most other bakeries, especially with the high quality of the cakes! They delivered both cakes to our venue for no extra charge and provided a riser, which took some of the stress off of my shoulder.
My cake was pretty straightforward but, my husbands cake was not. Everyone was so amazed with the finished product, most of them didn't even realize his was a cake because it looked so great! The details were perfect and so nicely done and both cakes were delicious. One of my favorite parts is that, included with the total price, instead of saving the top in the freezer to eat on your anniversary, they have you call a few weeks before and will make you a small cake to celebrate your one year! There are so many more things that could be said but, basically, I would recommend this company to any and everyone!

Breanne Sent on 12/03/2013We had an Alice in Wonderland wedding and the cake said it all! They did an amazing job creating a beautiful, as it has been said, WORK of ART! I loved it so much I really didn’t want to cut it,LOL. They also made a Skyrim Grooms cake that was exactly what my fiancé wanted. They listened to everything we wanted and when I made a style change 3 weeks before the wedding it was not a problem, they were on board with it. Not to mention the cakes tasted fabulous. Thank you guys so much! You can really tell they love what they do and that they really put their hearts into making these amazing cakes.

Rachel Sent on 11/15/2017Renaissance Cake Company was recommended to us by so many people and I am so glad we chose them! They accommodated 4 people at the tasting, my mom, brother, mother-in-law, and husband's grandmother. I couldn't attend, but I wanted to make sure I had enough people to help me make a cake decision. There we so many flavor options and my family chose Mexican Vanilla and Italian Cream for the wedding cake and two additional flavors for the grooms cake. Honestly I mostly remember 'my' cake because it was so perfect and yummy. You'd have to ask my husband about the groom's cake haha. They threw in the use of the riser for the cake and I am SOOO grateful for that! It was beautiful! I spoke with the bakers on multiple occasions to nail down some details and they did a wonderful job! We ordered a massive cake and it was GONE at the end of the night! The florist delivered the flowers for the cake to the venue and the guys did a PHENOMENAL job cutting the flowers down and placing them on the cake when they made the cake delivery. It looked absolutely beautiful!! I am sooo appreciative that they placed the flowers at the venue and asked for my input while doing it even though I'm very go with the flow and they do this for a living. It made it that much more amazing. If you want DELICIOUS cake and QUALITY customer service these are your guys!!

Brittany Sent on 04/04/2015Jeff and Larry are great! We met with them for a tasting and they have the absolute best flavors! All of the layers on my wedding cake had a filling for no extra charge and the cakes were beautiful.
My husband's cake was a Copenhagen can and the detail was amazing! The only problem was the date on his cake was wrong. Instead of 3/28/15 they put 5/28/15. Our photographer is going to try to edit it in the photos, but it was a careless error. When the florist, who knows them, tried to call them when she noticed it before the wedding, they didn't answer. I understand mistakes happen, but give me the courtesy of a phone call to say, "hey, we messed up." But we still haven't heard from them :-/ that's the only reason for the low rating on professionalism and quality. By the time we realized the wrong date, I was so smitten with my husband that I wasn't even mad, but would have liked them to acknowledge the mistake.
