Remix wedding’s really did their thing. Mitch made everything easy to understand. We partnered up with Kipper as our DJ, and man, when I tell you, we had such a beautiful, heart felt, amazing, awesome time with Kipper. Each meeting was intentional and he really made us feel special. You can tell he was genuine about 100%. He definitely is apart of our lives forever. We can’t wait to come back to Asheville and have dinner with him. If you’ve seen Ted Lasso TV show, He’s like Ted Lasso. We call him Kipper Lasso. So kind and lovely. Everyone at the wedding was talking about how amazing he was. It’s a highlight for sure. Oh and also, the lights and how everything looked, was absolutely beautiful.

We had the best experience working with DJ Mitch Fortune and the Remix Wedding team for our wedding. The team thoughtfully helped us prepare and talk through all sound elements leading up to our event, even offering suggestions in areas we had not considered. His professionalism, friendliness, and most importantly, talent, are all world class - can’t forget some of the epic transitions/beat drops Mitch hit the crowd with.
Our guests did not want to leave the dance floor all night and Mitch was able to read the vibes in the room to keep everybody grooving. We lost count of how many people told us he was the best DJ they’ve ever heard—and we couldn’t agree more. If you want a party that everyone will remember, you can trust Mitch and the Remix Weddings team to deliver. 11/10—absolutely recommend!

Dj Mitch for the win
DJ Mitch was absolutely incredible and one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
Before the ceremony, his setup was very professional and timely. The audio during our ceremony was flawless and we never had to think about it once.
At the reception, we especially loved how DJ Mitch mixed tracks together to keep the energy high and the songs moving quickly. We got more compliments on him than on anything else that evening — can't recommend him enough.
We opted for the additional lights that sync to the music, I’d I also recommend that decision to others.

best DJ EVER- dancefloor did not stop all night!
Kipper and Remix weddings were absolutely fantastic! My husband and I requested DJ Kipper after some stellar reviews from some of our other vendors. Needless to say, they did not lead us astray! Throughout the whole process, Kipper was very open with his communication, accommodating, and very approachable and fun to talk too. Each meeting felt as if we were discussing music and the party to come with a close friend and that made a world of difference come the wedding day. When planning what add-ons we wanted, he did not try to oversell us and provided very professional responses regarding what resources the venue already had at our disposal. We did end up adding the disco ball set-up and did love the way it complimented the space! During the reception, he absolutely crushed it with his mixing and the songs he played. All of our guests were on the dance floor all night and had nothing but great reviews for the music! My wife and I are both very into music and had put together a few playlists as inspiration. Kipper did fantastic with reading the vibes we were going for and putting the vibes into action! We had a vision for the party and the reception we wanted, and DJ Kipper absolutely executed the vision! DJ Kipper is an amazing DJ who happens to DJ weddings -- 10/10 would recommend!

Loved our dj!
Immediately upon talking to Remix on our initial phone call, I knew they were our DJ company. The DJ I spoke with listened patiently, TOOK NOTES (I could hear him typing in the background), asked all the right questions, and then ended the call by providing me with a clear understanding of the next steps with any DJ we may chose. The DJ was adamant about letting us pick the right DJ for our day, and not trying to sell Remix to us. I left that conversation feeling good inside, and I knew I had found the right company.
We signed the contract with Remix a year and a half from our actual wedding date, and over that time, the DJ we signed was always available by email, text or phone call to answer questions and provide us valuable insight into our planning. Remix DJ’s have seen it all and can tell you what works and what doesn’t. They are such a valuable resource beyond just playing music on your wedding day and I owe so much to our DJ.
His skills on the decks were obviously amazing too. We got compliments all night long and even the next several days about how good the DJ was. Our dance floor was always full and everyone from young to old was out there at some point show-casing their moves. A great wedding DJ can make or break the atmosphere of your wedding (working with the Bride and Groom of course), so it was paramount to us that we hired someone we connected with and who was able to read the room and adjust on the fly to keep the energy high and the night fun for everyone. Remix nailed it. I absolutely wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again, and as you can tell by this long-winded review, I am overjoyed with their service.

Amazing from start to finish!
From the first email to our wedding night, we had an absolutely amazing experience with Mitch and Kipper at Remix. Many of our guests declared Mitch 'the best DJ ever' and we were so impressed with his creativity, kindness, personality, and professionalism. They were on top of emails, responsive, and alwayss willing to help. At the wedding, we had guests we've NEVER seen dance at a wedding before out on the dance floor for a long time! The photo booth was a huge hit, and Ali was wonderful! We loved the video guest book, too! Overall, we would give them 10 stars if we could!

Best dj ever
We are still floating on a cloud from my daughter's wedding this past weekend. We were blessed to have DJ Tony running our event. From the first phone call to the end of the reception, he was the consummate professional. He was organized, timely, friendly, and, most of all, FUN! Our evening went off flawlessly because of him. Remix Weddings is amazing!
Remix weddings was great to work with from beginning to end. At the beginning we worked with Mitch. Mitch was very informative, helpful, and friendly. We had a couple conversations with him before deciding to move forward with Remix. He was never pushy trying to make the sale. Remix has a handful of different djs to choose from. And they provide sample mixes and profile info for each dj so you can find out which dj best relates to your desires and vibes.
DJ Ryan was our DJ. Ryan was great to work with. He is easy to speak with. He is such a nice and happy person (with a great laugh and personality!) We loved that he is a teacher and actually teaches dj classes at his local high school. He truly listens to your input and requests while offering advice and suggestions based on his experience. He’ll be honest with you on where he sees opportunities in the planning to improve your and the guest experiences.
On his actual skills behind the turntables… he absolutely killed it. As with many weddings, we had a wide range of ages and vibes in our guest list. But he read the crowd perfectly, while respecting what we wanted. He was able to successfully mix it all from classic rock to dance / house music. The dance floor was alive and rowdy all night.
We would certainly recommend remix weddings to anyone!

15/10 Would Hire Again!
We had our wedding with Remix Weddings (specifically DJ Kipper!) over a week ago and our guests are still raving at how awesome the music was! The dance floor was jam packed all night and Kipper did the most amazing job curating an amazing dance party even with some of our weird requests. The entire process felt extremely personalized and Kipper made us feel like family from the beginning. He was extremely responsive, communicative, and helpful in all aspects. Music is a huge part of our lives and to have the music be so perfect at our wedding was a dream come true.
To say this was an absolutely amazing experience is an understatement - We would not have changed one second of our wedding for anything and the music done by Remix Weddings was a HUGE part of that!

The most amazing DJ experience
DJ Kipper was an absolute joy to work with. He is so likeable and knows exactly what he is doing. His professionalism was unparalleled. He listened to all our requests and curated some of the most amazing sets to keep the party going for hours. Literally. All our wedding guests raved about how great it was and how much fun they had. DJ Craig Loveland with Remix Weddings is awesome! Craig was very easy to work with, he always responded quickly to our emails and we appreciated that he took the time to meet with us and get to know us before our wedding. Craig did a great job with the music for both our ceremony and reception. We wanted a dance party during the reception and he definitely delivered!
The online planning portal with Remix Weddings was also very easy to use! It made planning the music for our wedding a breeze especially since we had a destination wedding.

Can't say enough about Kipper and the team at Remix Weddings, extremely professional and really took the time to understand our wants. We had a large contingency of guests travelling from abroad, so really wanted to strike the right balance in pleasing all crowds while still ensuring it was the music that we liked. Remix Did NOT Disappoint! AMAZING!!
Booking Remix will be the best thing you do for your wedding! We booked Mitch as our DJ, and he was professional, on time, and knew how to throw one hell of a party!
Remix has an online portal where you can select must-play, do not play, first dance, ceremony music, etc. and the website is extremely user-friendly and convenient. Additionally, the day before the wedding, we met with Mitch and went over our music choices, and he played a few songs so that we were all on the same page for the vibe that we wanted. He even asked us what the groomsmen were wearing so that he could coordinate suit and tie.
The ceremony music was perfect and exactly what we chose. Mitch transitioned each song perfectly so there were no awkward silences or breaks in between songs. At the reception, Mitch did a great job MC'ing and introducing us for the first time. We didn't have to worry about selecting specific songs for cocktail hour/dinner because Remix has genres you can choose, and then they take care of the rest. After dinner, Mitch was able to get everyone dancing after inviting everyone to the dance floor for a group photo, which we thought was very clever!
Our reception went until midnight, and I really don't think the dance floor was ever empty. Mitch played songs early in the night that got all ages on the dance floor and then truly created the "after party" we wanted starting at 10 p.m. with incredible dancing music. He even gave me his headphones and had me listen to a song someone requested before playing it to make sure it was something we wanted to hear.
We also rented the photo booth through Remix, and it was a huge hit! Kipper did an amazing job with our logo that showed up in each photo and custom-created exactly what I wanted. We had about 80 guests and have over 150 photos from the booth. There were a ton of props and the attendant was super helpful! We noticed our guests also used it as a way to get a nice, professional photo with their significant other or their friends who were also in attendance, which we thought was great.
Mitch did such an amazing job that another couple who were guests asked for his card to DJ their wedding the following year. I really cannot say enough good things about Mitch and his team!

We got married at Hawkesdene in Andrews, NC in May 2022. From our first Zoom call with Mitch, we knew we would be in good hands. He walked us through how he would manage the vibe and the flow of the entire day. He didn't try to upsell us on anything. In fact, he knew our venue well and was able to explain to us all the things we probably DIDN'T need, because of the way the space was laid out, lit, etc.
My friends really love to dance and they are music snobs. They told us later that Mitch was the best wedding DJ they had ever experienced. (By the way, I am the last one in my friend group to get married, so we've been to a LOT of weddings. This is really high praise!!) They were really impressed by the way that he really live mixed through the entire night and was super responsive to the crowd's energy and requests.
Speaking of requests, Mitch has a really easy online portal where you can enter all of your must plays, do not plays, etc. He definitely honored all of ours, so we had no reason to be concerned about any guest requests :)
He also handled sound for our ceremony and dinner speeches, all of which was totally seamless.

Remix Weddings was the perfect choice for our wedding at the Hawkesdene in Andrews, NC. Mitch and the team worked with us while we planned our event long-distance, and everything went smoothly. We worked with Craig Loveland and - true to his name - we LOVE HIM. He met with us a few times to get to know our story, our vibe, and our goals for the event. He got to know our guests, curated the perfect playlist, and even made sure my husband and I had our drinks before starting the toasts. We also used the Remix Photobooth, and have loved all the photos our guests took during the event. We truly didn't want the night to end, thank you DJ Craig!

Kipper was amazing, legendary! Our guests said it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to and the best photo booth they had ever used! They loved the digital feature vs the print out booths they had seen at other weddings.
Kipper was so amazing, his transitions were flawless. I don’t think I left the dance floor once! It was so memorable and it was majorly because of how great his DJing was!
I’m honestly sad we won’t get to hang with kipper as much as we have been. He’s so awesome and made our wedding a 12/10.

Amazing DJ!
Kipper was the DJ at our wedding and we could not have been happier with our entire experience. He was great at listening to what music we wanted and incorporating both the songs we love (a lot of which were not your typical wedding songs) and classic songs that our parents and rest of wedding party would know. He played it all in a way which flowed and kept everyone on the dance floor. It was honestly hard to leave the dance floor because we didn’t want to miss whatever song he played next! You can tell he really loves what he does and that is totally why he is so good at it. I would 100% recommend Kipper and the rest of the Remix team, you will not be disappointed!

Best Wedding DJ
My husband and I got married on 4/30/2022 at Hawkesdene in Andrews, NC. The venue coordinator recommended Remix Weddings, and in particular Craig, for our wedding. She was not wrong! From the start, Craig was extremely helpful when it came to planning the right amount of songs for our ceremony and the best music theme for our cocktail hour and reception. Every email we sent, Craig responded within minutes! Our final meeting with Craig prior to the wedding was a breeze and he made sure he had every single detail he needed to make sure our wedding day went off perfectly. He set up the sound for our outdoor ceremony and every guest said that they could hear us perfectly. I was worried that guests wouldn't dance at the reception but trust us, they all danced (some better than others)! Craig even took the time to listen to our Spotify playlists that we sent him so that he got to know our music tastes. We highly recommend Remix Weddings, and in particular Craig, if you are looking for a DJ. They are wonderful to work with and they make sure your party is full of fun and dancing!

Awesome Wedding DJ!
Remix and our DJ (Kipper) were the BEST! Kipper in particular took the time to get to know us and ensure the wedding and reception had our personality. He even gifted us our favorite beer at the reception which was beyond thoughtful! Once the dance party started, our friends and family all raved about the music and said it was one of the best wedding DJ's they had ever experienced. Kipper also helped craft the whole evening and was more than just a DJ - down to helping us create a custom frame for our photo booth. Can't recommend Remix enough!

Kept the party going with epic transitions
Mitch did an awesome job and was a highlight of our wedding weekend! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception flowed perfectly with effortless ease. He kept things organized and on track, but all of this felt natural. When it came time to get everyone on the dance floor, he has a genius trick that guests are still talking about. He kept the dance floor full all night and knew exactly how to read the room. Everybody loved the song selection and the transitions between songs were incredible. Don’t hesitate with hiring this one of a kind DJ.

Mitch and his team at Remix Weddings are AMAZING! They were accommodating and responsive during the wedding planning process and truly transformed our reception space with the use of a projected monogram and uplighting. Mitch played music for every generation of wedding guests and perfectly read the crowd in terms of what to play next. Mitch responded to emails quickly and approached each request we had with an open mind and enthusiasm. The day of the wedding I had no stress regarding our reception music because Mitch had thoroughly walked me through each portion of our reception days before. If you are looking for a DJ for your special event LOOOK NO FURTHER! I truly cannot say enough good things about Remix Weddings. I wish I could have another wedding so I could hire them all over again. :)

Fantastic wedding DJ
Mitch DJ'ed our Asheville wedding recently, and we would wholeheartedly recommend him and Remix Weddings to couples looking for a wedding DJ. He was a joy to work with as we planned our wedding long-distance: cheerful, professional, super friendly and helpful, and very responsive whenever questions arose. He made our entire planning process fun, easy, and stress-free.
One of the things that mattered most to us was making sure our small wedding of 35 guests still had a great dance party, and Mitch made that happen! He played a great mix of Top 40 and older songs that got everyone out on the dance floor and was wonderful about taking specific requests to keep the dance party going.
He was the perfect MC for our event: professional and fun, and made sure that everything at the reception ran smoothly. Remix's online planning platform is a great tool to plan not just music but also your event timeline and more, and even has a feature that allows guests to make requests in advance.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mitch and the entire Remix team if you're looking for a professional DJ service to make your wedding (and wedding planning) fun and stress-free.

Started the Party and Kept it Going
We are huge music nerds and don't love the traditional top 40 hits. We knew we wanted osmeone that would understand that while also mixing our style with music that keeps everyone dancing. We worked with DJ Marley and it was PERFECT. We talked to Mitch to decide on our DJ and hear about Remix as a company and were then matched with Marley who opened up our online portal where everything was planned. They had checklists and spotify link-ups that made planning easy. Hardest part was choosing the songs. We had a conversation the week of the wedding to finalize everything and he was huge in helping us by hearing the vibe that we wanted for each segment of the wedding and reception and making it come to life. We had a few must plays from our college dance party day's that kept the energy high while we ended with a huge Mr. Brightside hit that easily became the best song of the night. Remix and Marley was a HUGE hit and we highly recommend.

FUN and accommodating DJ!
DJ Adam was FANTASTIC! There was never a dull moment on the dance floor--people of all ages were on their feet the entire night. He was so kind and accommodating to our particularly "lively" guests who requested a dance off between friend groups (which was a blast)! The online portal provided by Remix Weddings was awesome!! We could request 'Must Play' song, 'Play if Possible' songs, 'Do not play' songs, and even 'dedication' songs. In addition, we were able to specify our cake cutting song, bouquet toss song, first dance, entrance, etc. to the online portal. It was extremely easy to use and it was so nice to know that the bride and groom had some control over the music!! Highly recommend!

The Absolute Best Time!
Cannot recommend Remix Weddings enough! We always wanted a live band for our wedding but couldn't make it work with the budget, but Remix Weddings was better than I could've ever imagined! Both Mitch and Craig are extremely professional and FUN! Multiple guests said the music was the best part of our wedding and I (the bride) danced the entire time. The Best Friggin Party of Our Lives
Do you want your wedding to be so fun that your guests will be RAVING about it for weeks after? Hire a DJ from Remix weddings. We had the absolute pleasure of having DJ Kipper as our wedding DJ and we cannot recommend him more. He was super professional, personable and easy work with. He really considered our individual music tastes when curating, arguably, the greatest dance party of all time aka our wedding. Another thing some people may not consider is your wedding DJ is also the MC of your whole wedding and you want someone who will win over the crowd on the mic and that person is DJ Kipper. 5 out of 5 stars across the board. Would recommend to a friend or stranger.

Mitch was incredible!! He rolled with a bunch of fast changes that happened during our wedding day and made sure everything was perfect! Our guests were on the dance floor all night long! The Best Ever!
I would without a doubt hire Mitch and Remix Weddings for any event. We were lucky to find Mitch via google. His website was fantastic with ideas and information. It also stressed the importance of hiring a fantastic DJ for your wedding to keep the party going. Mitch delivered. We had several zoom meetings before our wedding and Mitch helped us think through every detail, and many we did not consider. He helped with timing and overall day of event management. He set up at our ceremony site and provided amazing audio and then effortlessly was ready to go at the venue when the guests arrived. He kept everything going and the reception was the most fun. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to and Mitch gets credit for a majority of that. If you are getting married - hire Mitch! We hired Mitch for trivia at our (micro) wedding to entertain our guests in place of dancing. We loved that he created a personalized game for our guests based on our favorite music and tv shows and questions about us. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to do something different.

More goes into DJing than I thought!
Mitch did a wonderful job at our wedding. We had a few phone conversations to discuss the day/timeline. He really helped me figure out the best order to do things so that it all flowed. The website Remix uses is super helpful while planning! You get to pick specific songs, assign them to a timeline, make sue names are pronounced correctly, etc! Super cool tool.
All the announcement and music cues were perfect. My ONLY hiccup for the day was that some of my must play songs that I had really wanted to dance to were played at dinner instead. Many of my "dancer" guests were actually a bit older than me, so most of the songs played on the dance floor were not on my list-but it got almost everyone dancing! I wish we would have allotted more time for dancing (we had about an hour and 15 minutes)! Getting to break it down on the dancefloor was one of my favorite wedding moments!
Mitch was in control and professional the entire time. I would certainly recommend him to anyone. BOOK HIM (or Craig, who is equally as awesome).

These guys were awesome!! Mitch was a huge help getting everything started and set up with us until we picked our DJ Craig! We did a phone interview with Craig about a week before the wedding and he was awesome!!!! He was so great to talk to and said how the evening would flow, voiced any concerns he may have, and wanted to make sure it was perfect!!
Then came the wedding day and he nailed it!!! He did a great job at our ceremony and at the reception!! He realized our crowd was a party crowd and played the right music to keep the dance floor full! He was so awesome and it felt like we knew him forever! We highly suggest this business for your big day!

Awesome DJ
I was nervous about hiring a DJ because I didn't really know what to expect, but Mitch went above and beyond. He communicated well and helped us with our reception details. Most of my family and friends are shy and I wasn't sure if people would really dance. Mitch read our vibes well, picked great music, played all our requests, and got almost every person out on the dance floor. Even songs that I had thought of but forgot to request, he magically ended up playing. The uplighting helped create the atmosphere I was looking for and the announcements were classy and clear, nothing cheesy. The cocktail hour and dinner mix also created the perfect atmosphere for mingling. I highly recommend Remix!

Best wedding ever!
Remix Weddings in Asheville is awesome!!! The planning website was sooo easy and allowed us to outline more specific details we wanted for both our ceremony and reception. Our initial consultation with DJ Mitch helped us to outline everything, and really did help us when later choosing our music later on. We had DJ Ryan for our ceremony/reception, and he has got to be one of the nicest people in the world! So easy going, and gave us a ton of good tips (e.g., not allowing guests to request songs, cutting off toasts, etc.) Our music was perfect-- even some of our more specific requests were executed perfectly. The music at the reception was AWESOME. Our friends and family are still talking about how great of a party our wedding was. I would absolutely recommend Remix Weddings to anyone getting married in the area!!

I could not be happier with Remix Weddings! Mitch was extremely easy to work with and was quick to respond. I hired DJ Kipper for my 1920's Themed wedding and he did not disappoint!
Kipper was professional, quick to respond, thorough, energetic and fun-loving. Right away, I felt at ease with Kipper and he made my husband and I feel ready to have this wedding.
On the day, Kipper's mix was fantastic and all of my guests had a blast breaking it down on the dance floor. Don't hire anyone but Remix Weddings for your wedding/event!!!
Example: Kipper had to improvise because it was so cold that his equipment was freezing! He was so hilarious, professional and gifted at improvising. I had a major issue with my wedding coordinator (Kristi Mayran of Stargazers Floral) and Kipper made the day run smoothly. I'm so thankful that I hired him!

DJ Kipper Rocked Our Socks!
We are so stinking lucky to have been paired with DJ Kipper on our wedding day. From the moment we talked to him, we knew he was going to be a great fit for us. Kipper is the best listener, and has a way of making sure every single request is met! He had some really great recommendations and suggestions that we incorporated into our wedding, and they flowed perfectly! He has a serious talent when it comes to customizing his services to your day!
Kipper was so flexible to the timeline, and was able to keep the night flowing from one moment to the next. He did an amazing job flexing between music genres (we love country, but put together a list of songs from many different genres - and he made it work perfectly!) He has so much energy, and truly knows how to host an event!
Before the big day, we had the chance to meet with Kipper - where he provided a handful of options for the important songs (ceremony songs, grand entrance, first dances, etc) to allow us to select the ones we like best. He also was able to put together the perfect custom mashup for my dad and I to dance to.
Our wedding consisted of family and close friends, which made for a very different type of environment when it came to music and dancing. Kipper found the absolute perfect balance, and ensured that the selection was appropriate to audience on the dance floor. That being said, he definitely kept the dance floor moving all night long!
We are so fortunate to have worked with Kipper, and cannot recommend him enough!!

If your thinking about it, do it.
Mitch was absolutely amazing! We gave him a short list of songs to play but a longer list of do not plays and really just let him know the vibe we were going for and he hit it 100%. He kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night. It was an absolute blast. If your looking for a DJ that knows how to read the crowd and keep everyone partying, Mitch is your guy. On top of that, he was so professional, organized and incredibly easy to work with. I may be biased but it was the best wedding I have ever been to :)

Let’s just say, my husband and I gave Mitch 18-hours worth of music, because we are huge music addicts, and he played as much as he could (In an 8-hour window). He was so accommodating. He made our dream a reality. I cannot rave enough about Mitch. We had a smaller set-up for the reception, and then had a larger-scale set-up for the after party that was more of a club feel. IT WAS AMAZING. We had guests say it was the best wedding they had ever witnessed. Without Mitch, we wouldn’t have been able to turn our ideas into reality. Mitch, thank you, thank you, thank you. There won’t be a wedding that can top ours, even if that sounds conceded, I don’t care, Mitch is the bees knees.

All the guests had so much fun dancing!
Such an amazing DJ! Mitch spent time on the phone with us going over all of the playlists for the ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour! He was very helpful and really made sure that songs from our "do not play list" were not played at all. The guests had so much fun dancing and said they loved the music the whole night. Mitch was a major highlight of our wedding!
My husband and I recently got married just outside of Asheville, NC. Early on in our planning process, our wedding planner recommended using Mitch’s company for all of our DJ’ing needs. Cutting to the chase - We were not disappointed!! Mitch really listened to my husband and me, addressed all of our questions and/or concerns in a prompt and friendly manner, and essentially just GOT what we were going for. My husband and I love to dance, and we wanted that to be reflected in our wedding reception. Mitch made sure both we and our guests danced the night away to our favorites, a few oldies, and all around anthem songs. I would recommend Mitch to anyone and everyone!

Fantastic DJ!
DJ Ryan did an amazing job! Our friends and family danced the whole night!! He was extremely flexible and let us personalize as much as we wanted. He was incredibly easy to work with and so nice! I loved that he didn't make the night about him, but really hung out in the background until it was time for an announcement. Mitch was absolutely amazing from beginning to end! He helped consult us before the wedding and made sure we were all on the same page on his responsibilities. DJ Craig made our wedding better than it would have been otherwise...honestly. He did more than just do an awesome job of DJing, he was helpful and involved with any snag or problem we had. He was enthusiastic and genuinely interested in us and our guests being comfortable and having a good time. We had some problems with other vendors but Craig was easy, helpful, and positive. I can't recommend him enough. He was worth more than we paid. Really, get this guy. You won't regret it!

How lucky we were to have Mitch as our DJ for our wedding. We didn't think we would find the right DJ for our wedding, until we spoke to Mitch on the phone. We are so thankful for that initial conversation! I can't imagine what a huge mistake it would've been to not have Remix Weddings at our wedding! We absolutely loved having Mitch as part of our wedding day! All of the music at our ceremony and reception was wonderful and our guests could not stop talking about how awesome Mitch was and what a great time they had! We are so glad we had Mitch and Remix Weddings as part of our special day. Planning can be overwhelming at times, but Mitch made everything so easy, including having the most organized website with a wedding countdown and music selection lists. Having top songs for each wedding category helped in choosing songs when we had no idea where to begin.

We are so happy Mitch was part of our wedding day. Our guests had an amazing time and have been raving how much fun our dance party was. Mitch was the perfect emcee for the reception. Everything was seamless and he was so professional about the event - we completely trusted him to read the crowd and create the playlist based on our request for fun dance music (with a heavy emphasis on late 90's songs). There was no awkward start of the dance party - we started off with a bang with the first song!
Mitch, thank you so much for meeting with us in person the Thursday before our wedding. It totally put us at ease and. My dad now compares every other wedding (band or DJ) against the incredible dance party we had at our wedding. He hasn't found any that have come close yet!

Our search for someone to DJ our wedding began at a wedding convention in Asheville, in February of 2018. DJ Kipper was in attendance with Remix Weddings, and we were immediately drawn to his bubbly personality and professionalism. He and the other employees of Remix made it clear that they were not just "wedding DJs," they were real DJs who also DJ weddings. Kipper met us several times throughout the planning process to discuss our vision, and had us make some playlists on Spotify to give him an idea of our taste in music and what we were aiming for.
On the wedding day, he provided music during the ceremony, a microphone for our reader, and music for our reception. The mix and flow of songs throughout the evening was brilliant. Our dance floor was busy the entire time! He played specific songs to bring different generations of guests onto the dance floor, and also read and responded to the crowd. I'm not much of a dancer, but I danced all night at my own wedding because of Kipper!

While looking for DJs, we knew we wanted a seasoned professional who was going to keep the dance party going the entire night. Mitch was incredible to work with and delivered on every single account. He was quick to respond which was important to us living in CA and trying to plan from afar when decisions sometimes needed to be made quickly, and the online planning portal was very convenient for organizing the order of events (couple entrance, cake cutting, toasts, first dances, etc) as well as laying out what music we are aiming for. During the final planning session in person, he walked us through the plans we had given him while discussing best flow of events and timing. The entire planning process led to an unforgettable night of perfectly timed first dance songs and seamless transitions from dance song to dance song. Once the party started I literally never left the dance floor! We are so thankful for Mitch for giving us and our guests exactly what we wanted!

DJ Kipper killed it! He was so kind during the planning process, gave me great suggestions on wedding planning and details that extended outside the purview of music, and was cool as a cucumber on the day of the wedding which made me feel better because the day can be very stressful. He was super professional, and then nailed the music 100%. It was one great dance party, which is the whole reason I didn't elope in the first place. I wanted a dance party for my friends and family, and Kipper delivered. The dance floor was bumping for the entirety of the reception -- even my husband's grandfather (who is on oxygen!!) was out there getting his groove on! Kipper's expertise and friendly personality were some of the highlights of my wedding planning process. So many people have commented that it was the most fun wedding they've been to, and I can say a large part of that was Kipper's doing. Thank you, Kipper, for being such a wonderful and integral part of our wedding!

I cannot even begin to explain how happy my husband and I,along with my family and friends with Mitch Fortune and his amazing DJ skills!
We had every guest on the dance floor all night and that is exactly what my family and I wanted! DJ Ryan was awesome!!!! We were the first people to have a wedding at our venue. It was a new hotel. DJ Ryan went to check out the venue for electrical requirements and to scout the space on his own before we met. Our meeting before the event was an instant click. He is professional, but fun. He knew all the genres/ artists my husband and I mentioned which ranged from dancehall to old school drum and bass. He made suggestions and offered examples of past successes.
On the day, he was on time and dressed nicely. The prelude music fit our theme of happy and in love. The processional was seamless, the mic for the minister and sound levels were perfect. We had a major focus on the dance party and DJ Ryan brought the party. He had the older people up dancing and singing in the beginning, and by midnight when it was just the under 40s, he was playing old school favorites of my husband and friends. He read the crowd and kept it going. He was professional, on time, and a lot of fun.
I am glad we went with the Ultimate Party Package. the ballroom lacked in decor and the up-lights added so much to the room.

Craig went above and beyond what we could have asked for in a wedding DJ! He traveled to Virginia beach for our wedding, which is not close to where he normally operates. Before the wedding, we were able to discuss our timeline and music choices with him, which made the process of organizing the reception so much easier. He was able to get any song that we requested even if it wasn't already available on his portal. He was even able to find some of the more obscure ones we requested. He traveled to Virginia Beach to DJ for our wedding
On the day of the wedding, Craig set up well ahead of time, including uplighting which looked amazing. He was there to coordinate every detail from the grand entrance and first dance to the toasts and cake cutting. When we needed more time to talk with family and friends during dinner, he was also able to discretely adjust the timeline to accommodate our needs without our guests noticing. This made us feel relaxed throughout the reception, knowing that everything was taken care of without us having to do any of the work or stress about the timing.
As for the party, Craig did an awesome job keeping everyone dancing all night! We requested some songs ahead of time, but we mostly let him use his DJ skills and knowledge to run the show. He played a great mix of new songs and classics to keep everyone engaged and having fun from the kids to the grandparents. The dance floor was full the entire night. Many of our guests commented that this was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding and that the flow of the reception was perfect. We could not agree more! Our wedding day was perfect and a huge part of this was due to Craig!

DJ Mitch Fortune is the best of the best! You will never regret the decision to use him or his company! Very professional, very responsive, easy to use system for picking music, mixes the music flawlessly, and works great with all age groups from kids to the grandparents. He had our whole group dancing, and it was absolutely perfect! Worth every penny. If you’re debating between a cheaper Dj and remix- go with remix- I promise you they will not disappoint! We couldn’t have been happier and we got so many compliments on the DJ and his mixing ability!

Craig Loveland DJ'd our event. He was amazing! We had so much fun and I have to give Craig the credit. First and foremost, Craig Loveland was as professional as they come. His equipment and set up were perfect. He arrived at our event well in advance of our start time and had everything set up before the first guest arrived. And I don't care what venue you may have, he would be able to satisfy your needs.
What impressed me so about Craig was his ability to engage everyone. His personality and humor were key in the success of our event, and very appropriate. I have Craig to thank for everyone having a such a great time. For any future event, Craig's not only my first choice; he's my only choice.

Everything with him was so easy, and we had a great time meeting him in person before our wedding (we came up from Florida). We really enjoyed our experience with Remix Weddings and DJ Craig. Their site was easy to use and really streamlined communication. DJ Craig took time to get to know us and understand our musical tastes. He made himself available through the entire planning process and was very communicative. Mitch is great. Rating him a 5/5 on things like flexibility, patience, temperment, and passion for what he does. We dragged our feet on getting him our timeline, music, and game plan on just about everything. None of that was an issue for him. All of our conversations with him were collaborative. He's not the DJ that will hijack your event and play whatever he wants. And he's not the 60 year old church DJ that you're afraid your parents are going to pick for you. He acts, looks, and fits the part. We'd never met Mitch face to face before the wedding. In the end, we're very glad we chose him. If you're looking for a sure thing and a guy that's got the skills to manage your party, choose Mitch. Oh one last thing... b/c of weather, we didn't set up a separate cocktail hour area we'd intended to. Mitch proactively offered a refund. I'm telling you, if you give him the DJ responsibilities, it becomes a part of your event you won't have to stress out about any longer.

You need to book DJ Mitch Fortune and Remix Weddings. Mitch was fantastic! Our wedding was out of town, so we had to do a lot of communicating via the computer. Mitch was attentive and emailed back in a timely fashion. He really listened to our likes and dislikes music-wise. Mitch was great at rolling with the punches (we had some unforeseeable issues come up during the wedding and had to adapt the timeline during the wedding). The online system was very helpful. We truly danced the night away! I highly recommend DJ Mitch and Remix!

Absolutely the BEST event DJ I've ever had the pleasure of working with. You will not regret choosing Remix Weddings. Mitch is talented, pays attention to detail, and makes sure he understands your vision down to the last detail to ensure your wedding is exactly what you are picturing. Our wedding planner (Nicole Bloom with Two Sweet Sparrows--she's awesome too, by the way), recommended Mitch Fortune with Remix Weddings! He was so awesome and had our wedding reception and full-on dance party in no-time! He listened to us when we told him the vibe we were interested in for our party. During dinner, he played the standards like Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra (we got so many compliments on that), and then quickly turned it up into a full-on -- everyone on the dance floor -- party! The music was so fun. He gave us the option to give him song suggestions, but we didn't really have to, because he just took our personalities and went with it... playing the perfect mix of music. Plus, he had great light displays too, which created a fun vibe as well. Mitch was amazing and we would hire him again in a heartbeat. Seriously, we got so many compliments on his work! Thank you for a great evening of fun!

We had a blast at our reception and Kipper was a huge part in making that happen. He was by far the best DJ we have ever experienced. On all levels, he shined. From our meetings and emails to planning the event; he was extremely professional and personable. His recommendations and communication really was a breath of fresh air. His attitude is positively memorable, down to his patience with us on our big day. We will talk about his performance for the rest of our lives. Remix Weddings has a solid guy on their roster and we wanted to thank them and share how impressed we are with him. There was not one moment that wedding guests were not dancing! It was truly unbelievable!

I worked with DJ Kipper and let me tell you, HE WAS AMAZING! We instantly clicked and he knew the exact type of music I wanted played. He was an absolute hit and had everyone dancing, singing, and having a great time all night. Including having the intuition to play "Bohemian Rhapsody" as our "final, final" song and had literally every guest on the dance floor singing their hearts out. I was so happy with their work and their online portal makes planning so, so easy.

Mitch knows his stuff. He was amazing! He took the very little input that we provided him and created an amazing music selection for the entire wedding event. He DJ'ed leading up to the ceremony, the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing.
