The Perfect Venue for Your Perfect Day!

We had the most perfect wedding and wedding planning experience thanks to the Rehoboth Beach Country Club! Andra was great to work with throughout the whole process and the on-site staff the day of the wedding are amazing. From the venue, to the food, to the layout, and the service, we could not have asked for a more perfect day. Thank you for everything!

The most amazing covid wedding!

We had the most amazing wedding at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club this past weekend. Bethany and her staff made our day everything we wanted. It was beautiful to get married right on the bay and the staff even brought out extra water for our guests due to the unexpected heat. For cocktail hour, the catered to our requests to have a bar outside and make sure my husband and I had a drink available at all times! During the reception, they were so efficient with serving meals so we could get to the party. Bethany was so accommodating to our wedding vision and made everything possible. She and her staff also set up our whole wedding and it was absolutely gorgeous. I would pick this venue every time over!

We had such a great experience with the Rehoboth Beach County Club! We got married here in September and had about a year and a half engagement. When we were meeting with venues, the RBCC was the only venue that actually seemed to care about us and our wedding as opposed to just being a number. Coco answered every question (and we had a lot of questions) we had in a timely fashion and worked with us on our special requests to make sure our special day was everything that we hoped it would be. I cannot imagine a more beautiful venue or a better team to work with. Thank you so much!

I was a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews, but our wedding at RBCC was absolutely perfect. Even though it rained on our wedding day, the views were still incredible and everyone was raving about how beautiful the venue was. The lights looked great, the food was amazing, and Koko was so incredibly helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process as well as on the day of the wedding.

if you want a stunning view and a wonderful coordinator then pick this country club! All of our photos, inside or outside, are beautiful! The highlight though is Cheryl the wedding coordinator! She is utterly the best. She answered the numerous questions I had on every wedding topic I could think of while I was planning. She was able to recommend vendors and I was very pleased with her recommendations. She is full of suggestions on how to make the space work for your wedding. We got married in March, and although most weddings at this country club are outside because of the beautiful bay, we didn't want to worry about the weather that day. Therefore, we planned the entire ceremony , cocktail hour, and reception for inside. We were able to work with Cheryl to make sure venue was beautiful for all three events! She worked so well with helping us tailor our wedding to our needs. It was stunning and our guests were impressed. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all. The service was phenomenal.

The RBCC was the third venue we looked at and we knew immediately that we wanted to have our wedding there. The venue is absolutely gorgeous! We had our ceremony outside and the bay view was just beautiful. We've been told several times by guests that our wedding is one of the best weddings they ever attended. The service and food were amazing! Cheryl Romano, the club coordinator, is a huge part of what makes this venue so special. She is extremely professional and sweet, always quick to respond to questions, and has a calming nature that helps to relieve the little stresses that most brides experience! Her and her staff did a wonderful job setting up the venue and making sure that everyone was happy. I'm so glad that she was there and a part of my special day. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful wedding. I'll never forget it. If you're considering the Rehoboth Beach Country Club for your wedding, don't hesitate! You'll be so happy you chose it! Cheryl will make sure you have the most perfect day - better than you ever dreamed of. Thank you!

WOW!!!! What a BEAUTIFUL venue!!!! Everyone LOVED the view of the water and they can't stop talking about the yummy food and friendly staff. Everyone especially loved Cheryl who greated all guests and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. Cheryl was wonderful to work with through the whole wedding planning process.

Cheryl, Wedding Coordinator for Rehoboth Beach Country Club, could not have made the planning of our daughter's wedding more stress free and organized. She walked us through everything every step of the way. There's a lot of pressure and nerves as you get closer to that big day, but we never skipped a beat thanks to her. True expert at what she does. As for the venue itself, impeccably prepared, decorated, and designed for our 223 guests. Staff and service was nothing short of amazing!!! If I had another daughter, we'd be back!!!

This is the most beautiful location for a wedding! The views of the bay are absolutely stunning. The site coordinator, Cheryl, is incredibly wonderful to work with. She is so experienced and skilled at her job. I have absolutely no complaints at all about the quality of service I received from the Rehoboth Beach Country Club - they helped make my wedding day perfect.

Cheryl was so easy to work with and answered all my questions quickly. She always had such enthusiasm about making my wedding day the best it could be. She even got in the photo booth and wrote on a sign"Happy Wedding Day". It also over looks the bay and has a dock that is great for pictures by the water. We also were allowed to use the golf cart and take pictures on the golf course. It was everything I wished for and more!

Cheryl Romano (banquet coordinator) was absolutely amazing to deal with. The Country Club is absolutely gorgeous and right on the water. Cheryl worked with me for everything that I wanted, whether it was linens, timing, or logistics, even if it was something that she had never experienced at the club before. The food was great, and the value was just unbelievable. We researched a lot of venues and the RBCC was by far the best bang for your buck. Everyone was raving about how great of a wedding we had, and a lot of that was due to Cheryl and the Country Club staff.

Cheryl made our wedding at Rehoboth Beach Country Club the best! Everything was perfect, from beginning to end. Cheryl even did up the back of the bride's gown when no one else could and provided repairs when needed though the evening. The food was delicious and the service wonderful!

We were married at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club on June 4th. We began the planning process the summer before, and we met with Cheryl Romano to book the venue and start thinking about potential vendors. Cheryl is extremely professional and easy to work with. She provides you with multiple packets of information on food and drink packages, as well as information on recommended vendors. We were also provided with a layout of the ballroom, making it simple to plan our seating charts for the wedding. I really appreciated having the list of recommended vendors, as it cut down on the research we had to do in selecting our photographer, cake baker, flowers, and transportation. All of the recommended vendors did an outstanding job. Cheryl worked closely with my day-of wedding planner to ensure that things ran smoothly. She also responds quickly to emails and phone calls. We could not have been more pleased, down to the last detail, with our wedding day. Rehoboth Beach Country Club is a gorgeous and well-run facility, and I would highly recommend it as a place to have your wedding!

We got married in May 2016 and had an amazing experience at RBCC. Working with Coco the event planner made my wedding so much smoother than I could have imagined. We live 3 hours from the country club and would email coco at all times of the night, and she always got back to me asap! The staff was also very helpful and friendly! The country club is so beautiful and I would recommend it to anyone!!

We had our wedding at RBCC this fall and had a wonderful experience. We were getting married in November and found it very hard to find a location at the beach that had an indoor backup option for a ceremony. RBCC had a beautiful outside option, a nice indoor backup option, and a great reception room. Cheryl was a pleasure to work with, very accommodating when setting up in person meetings, and quick and thorough with email responses. The only compliant we had was that there were no food tastings. We ended up getting married outside on a beautiful but brisk fall afternoon. The room looked gorgeous, and the food was great. Cheryl took care of everything that day, coordinating well with all the other vendors.

We got married at RBCC at the end of the summer. Cheryl was great to work with. The venue was beautiful! We got married outside and their set up with the bay as the backdrop was perfect. The ballroom was well set up and it was great to have the built-in bar for guests to use throughout the event. The food was great, too!

We had our wedding in 2015 but we did book the venue in early 2014. We loved the venue! It was stunning and Cheryl was most helpful! Our day couldn't have been more perfect. The only negative thought is that from the time we booked the venue till when we started really fine tuning things the price structure changed ...dramatically! In the end they did work with us and we ended somewhere in the middle. However not with out some anxiety on my part... I just think the club manager could have handled that differently ( speaking to other brides I was not the only one caught in this process). However Cheryl worked with us to get us thru it. She made sure our day was perfect everyone had a great time and I truly can't thank her enough! Would I recommend this venue ? Absolutely. But I would also suggest brides work in the contract that prices won't increase by more that 5% or so

I read a few of the previous reviews and we were among one of the couples that were affected by the price changes. That's the only reason why I ranked the RBCC a 3 for professionalism because I do believe they should have grandfathered the couples that already had signed contracts in. It was an added expense but they did bring back the complimentary wine service and champagne.
Another thing you need to realize is that their price changes now included the 20% service fee that wasn't included before. I don't think we ended up paying too much more than we had expected. Cheryl helped us re-design our menu to what we could afford. I was disappointed that we didn't get to sample our food choices but I assure you, everything was great and our guests ate well! Our wedding was beautiful and we were told by many guests that our wedding was one of the most beautiful and fun weddings they had ever been to. Our wedding was outside on the bay and we couldn't have had a more beautiful day. Unlike most outdoor venues, the RBCC promised a back up indoor space for our ceremony in case of inclement weather. The banquet room is very elegant and has windows along three sides that overlook the bay. It's a beautiful setting. The true selling point however is having Cheryl Romano as a wedding coordinator. She is wonderful to work with and truly brought the wedding of my dreams to life. She is very professional, kind and calming. If it had not been for her we wouldn't have booked the RBCC as our venue. I hope RBCC knows how wonderful she is and that their wedding business would truly suffer without her. Cheryl deserves a 5/5 rating if not higher!

We picked the CC because of the beautiful outdoor scene on the bay, but everything else turned out to be wonderful as well. Cheryl Romano really worked hard with us to stretch outside the box and create something truly special in her space. She was amenable to visits and chats anytime, even let us come in and practice our first dance in the ballroom. The night of the wedding the food was superb and the event ran flawlessly.

We recently held our wedding at the elegant RBCC. We were engaged at Baywood on MDW 2017 and returned that summer to book our wedding only to find the atmosphere stuffy and very overpriced. The coordinator even had the audacity to tell us we should marry back in NJ where we reside. We kept our chins up and called RBCC immediately after leaving Baywood. RBCC happily made an appointment with us to take a tour the very next day. The staff assured us that although they are members only club, they would allow us to host a wedding. The moment we walked in we immediately fell in love with the venue and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We booked our wedding date at that moment and mailed the deposit. A few months later we returned for our tasting and learned they hired a new wedding coordinator, MaryBeth. We clicked with her right away and the chef prepared us the best meal we’ve ever had! We settled on the gold package with the duo plate of steak and crab cake. We dreamed about that crab cake leading until our wedding day - which tasted even better than we remembered! We were patient with MaryBeth as she herself was acclimating to her role, but come our wedding day she had every single detail in place and the staff was on top of their game! The entire staff was superb and even they enjoyed being apart of our special day! Every guest of our wedding said it was the best they’ve ever been to and we can’t take all the credit to the planning - the RBCC alone was a stunning venue. Picture perfect views and sunset complimented the best day we will have in our memories for a lifetime. A huge thanks to MaryBeth for her keen planning and organization. A special thanks to the entire RBCC staff who made our wedding an awesome and memorable experience for all our guests. We highly recommend this venue for your affair.

Cheryl, the wedding coordinator for the country club, was amazing. When my husband and I were doing our venue interviews, she by far impressed me the most because she was the most professional, organized and nicest of the bunch. The country club ballroom is spectacular and as soon as we went in, I knew that I wanted to be married there. What we didn't realize was that after we signed our contract, they built a pergola right in front of the water and we were the first couple to be married under it. Her organization during the planning process was very impressive and she was willing to meet with me as much as I needed. On the day of, Cheryl and her team were there from beginning to end and everything was perfect. I knew if there were any problems, Cheryl would handle them easily and I was able to relax and enjoy.

I couldn't have imagined my wedding reception any other way. The staff at RBCC was great to work with and very accommodating. With the help of their staff everything went off without a hitch and I didn't have to worry about a thing on my wedding day. The venue itself is beautiful and you cannot get the same view anywhere else.

This is a beautiful venue, and for that reason I would recommend it to anyone wanting a more formal beach wedding, which is what I wanted. We didn't want toes in the sand, but we still got an outdoor, waterfront ceremony, as well as a beautiful ballroom with a large patio for the reception.
Cheryl, mentioned in several reviews, was great but is no longer there. Coco is the new contact, and has been there awhile as a banquet manager so she knows what she's doing. She did a great job overall.
I just have two complaints keeping this from being a perfect review, and I think both could be addressed at the contracting stage to avoid duplicating my experience.
1) We were told at our initial visit that the members love weddings and keep quiet at the pool and on the golf course if a ceremony is going on. This was not the case. Swim team practice was happening during my ceremony. I could only hear screaming children as I prepared myself to walk down the aisle, and then my wedding planner got them to stop, and the coach continued screaming at top volume throughout the ceremony. It's all you can hear in our wedding video. All the member parents were taking pictures and watching us, so I really doubt she would have upset anyone by taking a 15 minute break in practice, or directing the kids in a quieter fashion, but unfortunately she was inconsiderate and rude, and her screaching will be playing on our wedding video forever.
2)We had a wedding crasher, and the staff encouraged it. A member stopped by. I spoke to him and he told me he just likes to see that people are enjoying the club and the club is doing a good job. I ensured him everything was great and thanked him. I then found out the next day that he stayed for the remaining hour of the reception, drinking at our open bar, hitting on bridesmaids, and refusing to leave. The staff, when approached, told my sister-in-law that the members "own the club" and have the right to be there.

We love the view at the country club and the ability to have indoor and outdoor spaces for guests. The venue could accommodate our large group. It all looked beautiful and we had a lovely wedding.

However, we had issues with the way the club treated us. They increased prices significantly after we signed our contract, and were not upfront with us about the change (we found out after we were accidentally included on an e-mail to another family). We were then told the increase did not apply to us, but it did. They refused to let us do a tasting, which made picking courses difficult. The food was ok in the end, but certainly not worthy of the price. I paid a luxury markup without feeling as if I was getting even mediocre service.

Cheryl was very nice and tried to be accommodating. But, it seemed like both the board and the chef were more interested in profiting from our event than hosting and she had no voice to advocate for us.

Unfortunately, one of my biggest regrets about our wedding was choosing RBCC for our venue. Needless to say when choosing your venue, this is the biggest decision you are making for your wedding. We thought RBCC was the perfect choice for us. Beautiful scenery right on the bay with a gorgeous ballroom and an amazing wedding coordinator. They increased the prices by 30% after signing the contract. (a total of 3k for us). Although the contract stated menu prices subject to change, they still broke the contract by making everything al carte instead of keeping the packages the same with food and open bar. I was also told that if we wanted certain lights they would be $350. I had stated I did not like them, two days before the wedding I arrive and they were still hanging. I was then told they would be $350 to have them removed. Due to a storm during our wedding, I was told if I wanted our wedding in the ballroom with an aisle, my groomsmen and male guests would have to move the chairs because they did not have the staff to do that. If you are going to charge premier venue prices ($150 a plate), you should be able to accommodate. This was ridiculous to make my guests move chairs and tables. I was pulled off the dance floor to be told the bar was closing, when we still had 30 mins left. (due to the weather, we had to push back the wedding 30 mins, Cheryl promised this would not be a problem). This caused myself and my guests to become very upset. This should not have happened on our wedding day. Although, Cheryl is amazing at what she does. She does not belong working at this type of establishment. Even though she is amazing, it will soon start to reflect upon her because she has no say in sticking up for her couples. I was also sent a $12 bill after the wedding. Really? Maybe they can deduct this from the $500 outdoor ceremony fee we were charged or the $3k price increase. Love at first sight, but WAY too many red flags

While my heart was dead set on booking with Rehoboth Beach Country Club for its views, dealing with MaryBeth, the current events coordinator, had me, my parents, and my fiancée RUNNING with her lack of follow-up and lack of responsiveness. No bride should have to deal with that. Ended up booking at Baywood and there staff leaves no doubt I made the right choice.

DO NOT PLAN TO HAVE YOUR WEDDING RECEPTION AT RBCC!!

The RBCC management and staff have broken their contracted agreement with me and my fiance' by ignoring literally EVERYTHING we agreed to in our contract with them.

We chose RBCC because it was one of the few venues that offered food and beverage packages combined. Cheryl Romano (the banquet coordinator) personally assured my fiance' and me that the package we selected would NOT change by more than "a few dollars" per guest. Now, the package offers have been completely redesigned, like many other reviewers mention, and divorce the food from beverages, all so the RBCC can make more money. In addition, many other included services are now charged as separate fees.

What makes this entire ordeal so very wrong was that they decided to make all of the changes retroactive; i.e. those parties who had already signed a contract promising certain services are now magically transformed to really mean the new packages they want to pawn off on you.

This is absolutely horrible business practice, extreme misjudgment on the part of the RBCC staff and Cheryl Romano.

Just because they tack on "prices are subject to change" does not mean they have the right to completely redesign the entire package you agreed to. It's not ethical, and it's down right illegal.

We are going to be taking legal action against RBCC if this is not rectified, and I would suggest anyone who is affected by the poor service to join our facebook group we have started:

Be for warned that the Rehoboth Beach Country Club and their wedding venue service are a scam. The uber rich elitist of the RBYCC have decided that for all who they had contracts with that they would decide that they wanted to raise their prices 20 percent across the board. If that we're not enough the club decided that to rent from an outside vendor for table linens and chairs would cost you not only the vendors cost but a 20 percent up charge that the club will pocket for doing nothing at all. Additionally, the club once allowed guests the opportunity to use a bridal suite and have a champagne toast included the cost. Now the club charges a 500 dollar fee to use the room and 3 dollars per guest for cheap champagne. This practice would be one thing if the patrons had the opportunity to review the costs with their budget but when you change the charges mid way through the process and invites have already been sent out it leaves people without enough money to have the wedding they envisioned. Once your venue is selected this should not be a hassle to wedding planners anymore but the country club has decided that they don't have enough and have attempted to get more out of its patrons. This is completely unethical and is representing the the club as a poor venue. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENUE don't let this happen to you!

If you are looking at this wedding venue then I suggest you read the fine print! I'm saddened to say that when I originally signed my contract it was going to be 120.00 per head and just this week I received an email with a big price increase! Now we are looking at 145.00 a head and that doesn't include the champagne toast and banquet/ceremony fee and extra fee on top of our rentals. Definitely not what we needed so close to our wedding. Rbcc definitely meant what they said when they wrote the prices were subject to change :( so sad
