Hiring a hair stylist and makeup artist was without a doubt the most stressful vendor for me to choose personally. I feel like anyone can take a good photo of some hair and makeup in front of a ring light so you never actually know how it holds up throughout the day. I ultimately went with Refeyance because their photos looked good on instagram and I loved that it was 1 vendor for hair and makeup.
I has my trial with Jenn and she was so unbelievably sweet! She was so easy to talk to. It honestly felt like we had been friends for years. She did a phenomenal job and I felt really good about my decision. After my trial I was second guessing my hair style and I reached out to make sure she was comfortable doing something different day of. She was so accommodating.
Fast forward to the day of and everything went perfect! All of the girls were so friendly and professional. All of my girls looked amazing! One of my girls loved Jenn so much she got her contact info for future hair appointments. Thank you Jenn, Vanessa, Meagan, and Jackie! -

Tatyana is amazing!
Tatyana was absolutely amazing from my trial to my wedding day. She was very professional and captured exactly the look that I was hoping for in both my hair and my makeup. I can’t say enough good things about her and her team, they started my wedding day off perfectly! I highly recommend Tatyana! -

Great Experience and Loved My Hair and Makeup
I loved the team that did my wedding parties hair and makeup! Moreila did my hair and makeup. We set up a trial first. After the trial, I decided to change my hair a bit and she did an amazing job of listening to the changes I wanted to make. All of my wedding party loved the experience and looked absolutely beautiful! I would highly recommend this group. We also had to postpone our wedding for a year due to COVID. The team was very understanding and helped set up the new date without any issues. -

I used Refeyance for my May 2019 wedding in Indianapolis and they were great! The service with this company starts way before the wedding and even before signing the contract. They are extremely organized, responsive, accommodating, and reasonable in price.
A month or so before the event, they email out confirmation details to ensure everything is locked in no later than 2 weeks before the event. On the day of the wedding, they arrived early and stayed until we were done, which was a little past our scheduled deadline. The stylists were fun, very experienced, and they were quick. We got ready in my home, which is a little small, but they made it work and embraced the morning wedding chaos with ease. They even found a moment to fit in doing my flower girls’ hair, which was not originally schedule on the list. Overall, they were responsive, accommodating, and experienced, so they girls looked great and we ended in line with the wedding timeline.

After I had a terrible trial with another HMUA who I had booked months prior, I was desperately trying to find someone for my wedding day and had just accepted I’d be doing my own HMU. I came across Refeyeance last minute and luckily Nadira was available. She did a phenomenal job on my Mom, my girls hair and of course myself, without ever having a trial with her. I’ve never felt prettier! Nadira saved the day! -

Nadirah did an awesome job! She did my hair and makeup and makeup for the rest of my bridesmaids, my mom, and mother-in-law. Another awesome stylist came to do everyone else's hair. One of my bridesmaids had originally decided not to pay for the makeup because of the price ($90 I think), but when she saw all the other bridesmaids she quickly changed her mind. Nadirah didn't have a problem with this at all so long as we were still on our timeline! Pricing included airbrushing and false lashes too. I went with natural looking falsies, but they could go as dramatic as you like. Also, I wasn't crazy about my hair during my trial, but Nadirah took photos and notes, and when it came to the big day I loved my do. She can set up just about anywhere and travels with a fancy light and a chair. I'm so glad I went with RefEYEance! -

I worked with Danielle and Leanne from Eye Do for my DC wedding. They were amazing and Eye Do was great to work with every step of the way. I reached out to several hair vendors in the area and I found Eye Do to be extremely responsive and price competitive. They promptly set me up with a hair stylist for a trial, and the stylist came to my house which was super convenient! I ended up getting matched up with Danielle and I am SO glad I did! From the moment I met her, she put me at ease and was so fun to work with. She listened to me and really understood exactly the kind of style I wanted on my wedding day. Between the trial and wedding she recommended I get some clip in extensions to add more volume and she was kind enough to text me suggestions on exactly what to get. In the days leading up to my wedding she texted me confirm, reassured me that they would be there on time and to reminded me to breathe which was so helpful! On my wedding day she literally created the hair of my dreams. She spent so much time getting it right, and kept checking in with me to ensure it was exactly what I wanted. I absolutely loved the hair and I got SO many compliments on it throughout the day. She also did a great job on my friends/family hair and Leanne the other stylist was great to work with as well! I am SO glad that I went with Eye Do for my wedding day and so grateful to have had Danielle and Leanne as stylists. Thanks Eye Do!!! -

As a gift for my bridesmaids, mom, and future mother in law, I decided I would get hair and makeup done for everyone before the wedding. Eye-Do Makeup and Hair was an incredible experience and I am so glad I ended up going with them. My artist, Carter, was so sweet and did such an incredible job… I really can’t say enough about her. She really understood the look I was going for and offered her honest opinion, which I truly appreciated! She honestly made me look and feel like a real-life princess! Her team that was with her- Diane and Whitney- were just as amazing! My bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law felt like rock stars and all of them looked absolutely GORGEOUS! These three ladies traveled all the way out to a ranch where we were staying about an hour southeast of Dallas for the wedding, in the middle of thunderstorms and tornado warnings and not one of them was late or complained about a thing! We all got the airbrush makeup done, which looked amazing, felt so light, and lasted all night! I can’t thank these ladies enough for playing such a big role in what ended up being a fairytale wedding and best day of my life- so far !! -
Danielle Sent on 10/22/2017I cannot day enough about the amazing ladies I had for hair and makeup! We had Rachel and Jessica and they were literally amazing! Jessica did my hair and makeup and when she showed me the “finished” product I cried. I couldn’t believe how beautiful she had made me for my soon to be husband. EVERYONE looked perfect! I couldn’t have asked for anything better. My hair even held through the night to the day when we left for our honeymoon! And through all the tears from that day my makeup stayed on and looked FLAWLESS!!!!!!!! I can’t say enough things about these ladies! They were so nice and easy to talk to, it was a GREAT experience! If I had to do it all over again I would still choose this company and pay what I paid. It was so worth it! And I HIGHLY recommend using Eye Do Hair and Makeup!

I did a lot of online research since I did most of wedding planning from out of town and their website was very user friendly, the contact person was AMAZING because they always got back to you within a 24 hour window and best of all their prices are 100% affordable for what all was included. I had Jessica Manis (REQUEST HER IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE) for my boudoir shoot and my wedding day. I decided to use my trial run of makeup for my boudoir shoot so it was a gamble if I was going to like it or not, so I took my own make up bag as back up just in case but I didn't have to do a single thing to it!!! It was literally flawless and the most beautiful I have ever looked in my entire life! Also, my entire bridal party had their make up done by this company and it added the wow factor I wanted to our pictures. The air brush along with the eye lashes made everyone look stunning which really added to our black tie event. Overall, I recommend this service to anyone! I promise you will not be disappointed and you will spend the least amount of money with them and get more then you ever could of imagined! -

Refeyeance Makeup and Hair has a number of hair and makeup artists available for your event, and are able to customize to your needs entirely, sending as many artists as you need to your hotel or home to get ready on the day of the event. They made the process very convenient, including assisting with scheduling closer to the event day! I was also able to do a test with my hair artist a few months prior to the wedding, and secure the same artist for my wedding day. She kept records of our trial run so that she was able to execute it perfectly on the day. -

Refeyeance was easy to work with and paired us with local artists who would travel to our venue. They help figure out the day of schedule about 3-4 weeks out which is great. The artists that they paired us with were extremely talented and made the whole bridal party feel exceptionally confident. Makeup included airbrush foundation and fake lashes which was a great perk too! -

I knew them as Eye Do, but it's the same company. I had to coordinate my wedding long-distance, and they were very cooperative. But be careful about travel fees and application minimums.
I worked with Leanna Grinsell and Jessica Manis. The final product was lovely: they did a great job with a variety of hair textures. My makeup was tasteful and minimal. My hair suited my style perfectly, even though I went into the trial with only a vague notion of what I wanted. They even incorporated a hair comb that my sister designed for the occasion. The trial price was not included in the package, and because of travel situations (I was driving home with my fiance immediately afterward) I had to wash all of it off before even leaving the studio. I was encouraged to wear fake lashes, which I found rather irritating and finicky in the trial, but I was not pressured to do so the day of the wedding.
I wanted to be able to do hair and makeup for my bridal party, but that would have required starting at 7am for a 3:30pm ceremony and changing locations (my venue didn't open till 10:30am) which would have incurred an extra fee. That seemed ridiculous: I wanted to spend time with my ladies, not waste half the day getting ready. Eye Do worked with me to find a compromise that mostly worked: they would do only hair applications for my bridal party and I would be responsible for their makeup. We made a breakfast party of it and had fun, but it was somewhat awkward. Also, due to application minimums, I still had to pay for several "blank" applications. One of the artists preferred cash, because credit payments required a 15% fee. The other took Venmo.
It was convenient that they came to my venue location, and they did a great job with hair/makeup. But I think it is a bit excessive that each "application" (hair OR makeup) takes 45min. Overall, it was a lot more than I wanted to spend, and a lot of that money was for services I didn't even get to enjoy. -
