I adored working with Heather and her team for my wedding day. Upon first contact with her, I could tell she was someone special. She wrote back to me very quickly and was incredibly kind and knowledgeable about her craft. It was never hard to get a hold of her, and she was very patient with my many, many questions. She did my hair and makeup for my bridal photos as well as on my wedding day, and she and her team (Myke and Jenna) did hair and makeup for TWELVE other folks on the day of my wedding -- 7 bridesquad members, 3 moms, and 2 sisters. They managed to get us all ready on time and everyone absolutely loved their looks! Heather did my hair and makeup exactly like I had dreamed, using the pictures I sent her with ideas to the utmost success.
I highly recommend Heather and Red Scarlett Makeup for any big or small event in your life. She is professional, caring, responsive, affordably priced, and absolutely so fun to work with! (:Red Scarlett Makeup Artistry's reply:

Flawless Hair and Makeup That Lasted All Day!
Heather did an amazing job on both my hair and makeup for my wedding. My hair stayed in place all day, and she paid close attention to every detail. I wanted a natural look with a little color, and she delivered exactly that. The consultation beforehand helped us create the perfect look. She even provided a small touch-up bag, and I would gladly use her agai! -

She was fantastic! I love that we were able to do a trial to make sure it was what I wanted. I do however change the look the day of my wedding but she was amazing to accommodate that and still get me to my wedding on time! I love that she gave a little touch up bag as well and the hair stayed all night! -

Sophisticated style
Heather made our morning and day amazing. She did my daughter’s, the bride‘s hair and make up during the bridesmaid breakfast and gave her a gorgeous and stylish look, and easily did all the accessories. Such a pro! As the mother of the bride, Heather did my hair and makeup, and I’ve never felt so perfect for a day full of friends and family; natural and beautiful, finding my best features and accenting those. Nothing fell out, our hair lasted all day, even though Heather came to do touchups before the dinner and party that night. She was a joy to work with, and we knew we were going to be absolutely gorgeous!Red Scarlett Makeup Artistry's reply:

Heather is absolutely amazing and I cannot recommend her enough. She made the process so easy and made me feel absolutely beautiful. Her price is very fair for the work that she does and she is the sweetest person ever. The day of my hair and makeup trial she took her time getting to know me and what my vision was for my make up that day and when we started doing it, she made sure that everything was exactly as I wanted it to be and if I hated anything, she had no problem changing it until I had it exactly as I wanted on my wedding day she was very prompt of getting there on time and did an amazing job that made me feel pampered and ready for the day. I was very grateful and impressed at her ability to go with my very unique requests for my wedding hair and makeup. It was fantasy themed so nothing I asked for was typical and yet she did amazing, I was so happy with my hair in particular. It looked fancy without pulling at or hurting my scalp. I also am not well versed in make up and she did an amazing job of helping me find what would look good on me.
Also big shoutout for accommadating a last minute schedule change for getting ready the day of the wedding. She was absolutely perfect, can't recommend her enough.Red Scarlett Makeup Artistry's reply:

I had my hair and makeup done by Heather at Red Scarlet Makeup Artistry, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience. Heather did an amazing job. She truly took the time to get to know me and understand exactly what I wanted.
She was incredibly patient and thorough, especially when it came to matching my skin tone. I have a peachy undertone, which isn’t always easy to work with, but she absolutely nailed it. Her professionalism showed in every part of the process, from the detailed booking questions to constantly checking in to make sure I loved how everything looked and felt.
I also really enjoyed our conversations that day. Heather is such a bubbly, happy, and genuinely beautiful person. She made the whole experience relaxing and fun, and she truly made me feel like a princess.

I couldn’t have chosen a better girl to do my bridal hair and makeup!
Not only did she exceed my expectations, but she was beyond patient with me. Things were kind of crazy the day of my wedding, and she worked with me on doing my girls’ hair as well. My kids were all over the place, and she was so patient and sweet with them and got them let her do their hair.
She was very personable and super friendly. It felt like I had my friend with me, and I loved having her be a part of that!
Not only was I super pleased with the overall experience she gave me, but my family commented multiple times how pleased they were with her as well! She did a great job, she was very accommodating, and such a joy to have around. I cannot express to you enough how pleased I was with her.
Side note too—I was very impressed with the price. I was expecting to pay a lot more, and really couldn’t afford much, but I thought her pricing was more than fair, especially for the experience she brings to the table, and the care that she put into everything.
I’d recommend her to anyone, and guarantee that nobody will be disappointed!! -

Heather did my daughters hair and makeup for her enhancements, bridals and wedding day. She wanted a little different look for each and Heather was able to capture her exact vision every time. She is so pleasant to work with. Always on time and so responsive when we had questions. On the wedding day we hired her for the bride and two others. We all wanted such different things and we were all so pleased and completely satisfied. She made the day better.
We had looked at so many other artist and all of their work looked the same. We wanted someone who could give us fresh and updated looks, natural. -

I had the pleasure to work with Heather for my wedding last year! She was awesome! Very professional and respectful! She had a lot o patience with me since the trial, since I was not sure what I wanted yet! And some times due to my poor English vocabulary I had trouble trying to explain how I wanted it! She was able to make me feel fantastic on my special day! And not only that, but she made arrangements to get all my family ready and friends ready. Couldn't be better! 100% recommend her services! -

Red Scarlett Makeup Is Phenomenal!
Hiring Heather to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day was one of the best decisions I made!! Our big wedding scheduled for June 2020 got postponed to June 2021 due to covid, but we still ended up doing a small ceremony with immediate family this year. Heather was so flexible and accommodating with the plan changes, which was such a relief to an already sad and stressed out bride. I didn't end up doing a trial run because I couldn't take bridal portraits, so the first time meeting Heather was on my wedding day. I was so worried going into it without having an idea of how my hair and makeup would come out because I'm so picky, but I can honestly say that Heather surpassed ALL my expectations!
Heather really listened to how I wanted everything to look and brought my vision to life flawlessly! She even mixed lipstick colors to create one that was just what I wanted after the first one I tried was too dark for my taste. It's one thing to just be great at hair/makeup, but Heather goes beyond that by being able to listen to your wants and creating a look specifically for you. Not only is Heather great at what she does, but she was such a joy to spend time with. I had felt so nervous all day but talking with Heather while she got me ready completely calmed my nerves and I was so relaxed! After she left, the nerves were basically gone and I just felt so excited to be getting married :) I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life and I'm already excited to work with Heather again on our big wedding day!! You won't be disappointed with Red Scarlett Makeup Artistry, she's incredible!!! -

She did exactly what I wanted and had a way of enhancing my natural beauty so that I still looked like myself. My photos all turned out flawless, and she had a large part to do with that. From our first meeting, I felt so comfortable with her and I just knew she would be amazing! I decided to book her to stay with me until after the ceremony and pictures, and it was the best decision I had made. On the day of my wedding, she showed up early smiling with excitement! Her bubbly personality and caring nature instantly eased my nerves. Not only did she do my makeup and my bridesmaids makeup absolutely beautiful and flawless, she was my best friend for the day! She had my back like no other, making sure everything was right. She helped with my gown, helped organize the bridal suite and ensured me over and over that everything was great. At one point there was concern my hair stylist would not arrive in time due to traffic, but leave it to Heather to calm the situation. She was willing to step in and style my hair because she saw I was beginning to worry and she didn't want me to be upset. She was like a guardian angel watching over me. I couldn't have dreamed of anything better than what she did. She is absolutely wonderful and has an amazing talent for what she does! She is a godsend to every bride! Pam Sent on 07/16/2014Heather was awesome for my engagement party. She did try her best to squeeze both me and my mom before my engagement luncheon which starts at 10:30am.
Love her airbrush make up and she uses individual little clusters of lashes rather than one lash fit one type.
My photos looked really good with her make up. :)
Her wedding package is pretty awesome too... So, I will be using her services again for bridals and wedding.
