  Amazing to work with

  Paul and Tammy were the best. They made the day go so smooth. They kept things organized and moving. They stuck with us the whole day and made sure everything was perfect. They have so much fun and fit so well with our families and guests. 1000% recommend.

  We absolutely loved Tammy and Paul! They are truly the nicest people you will ever meet and so fun to work with! You will not be disappointed!! They took our engagement and wedding photos and made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. They are always available to answer any questions and go over what you want for your big day. I am so happy we chose them and will be using them for our other photo needs.

  We absolutely loved Tammy and Paul! They are truly the nicest people you will ever meet and so fun to work with! You will not be disappointed!!   Paul and Tammy are AMAZING!! They were the first (and ONLY) photographers we met with and booked on the spot! From our first appointment, to scheduling, to reviewing our photos, to our wedding day, we would not change a single thing about our experience! They made our entire wedding so smooth that my husband and I were able to actual enjoy our special day! All of our photos turned out amazing (it was so hard to choose), and we got so many compliments on the different shots, the finishes, filters, etc. My husband and I would highly recommend Red Door to anyone, and will also continue to work with them in the future! Again, they not only made our photography experience breathtaking and smooth, but our overall wedding experience was that much more enjoyable and memorable BECAUSE of Paul and Tammy!

  Red Door traveled with us to Montana for our engagement session and then did our wedding the following year. Their work is BEAUTIFUL but more importantly Paul and Tammy are amazing to work with. They blended right into the crowd and I had numerous compliments on how great they were to be around. It feels as if we have known them forever. I even had a friend say "if they weren't carrying cameras, I would have thought they were part of your guest list!" I have two friends who are using them at their upcoming weddings and I recommend them to EVERYONE! We plan to use Red Door for ALL our future photography needs.

  Paul and Tammy are a power team. I feel very confident we didn't miss a moment and they captured our story. From freezing rain to a full winter storm, they never complained of the cold and embraced it all. They clearly love what they do as they are positive, friendly and professional. Our guests loved them.

  We LOVED working with Paul and Tammy. We used them for both engagement photos and the wedding. I had friends and family that used a less established photographer to save some money, and they were so disappointed in the quality of their pictures with the cheaper photographers. Red Door is absolutely worth the money. To me, the photographer was one of the most important aspects of our wedding, they capture the memories so we can remember them for a lifetime.
  
  It starting raining for our outdoor engagement pictures, but they did a great job of adapting to places that were covered, and even incorporating an umbrella into some of the pictures. I was a little leery and wondered if we would need to reschedule, but they did great job and some of the umbrella pictures are our favorite!
  
  We had multiple family members and friends from the wedding tell us how personable Paul and Tammy were, and also how they were like "ninjas," always getting to the right place for the perfect shot without anyone noticing! They made us all feel comfortable and were willing to try any poses or locations we recommended. And most importantly, the pictures turned out beautifully!

  My husband and I LOVED working with Red Door Photo and Design. They did an AMAZING job on both our engagement and wedding photos! We have referred them to many engaged couples, and they too have been very impressed. Paul and Tammy are great to work with; fun and energetic. They were so flexible and easy to work with.   I cannot say enough wonderful things about Paul & Tammy! They were by far the BEST photographers and were meant to be our photographers for our wedding. It was an immediate comfort when we first met with them. We had to reschedule our engagement pictures due to weather and I even surprised my DH with a boudoir shoot as his gift, it was a first for both of us and they were amazing! I was completely comfortable with them. Our wedding day was a bit chilly but they were troopers and captured some AMAZING shots! I'm completely in love with all our pictures and they even did a great job with our giant horse, aka puppy Maci :) After seeing so many wedding pictures from all my friends and family, I am beyond happy with ours and LOVE every single one.
  
  I can't wait to have them take pictures of our children someday

  Hands down the best photographers in Des Moines. We used Red Door for both our engagement pictures and our wedding. Paul and Tammy have a gift. They are so creative and fun to work with.   Paul and Tammy were one of our best finds for our wedding. Their personality is so upbeat without being cheesy. They kept everything moving and kept us all laughing which made for great photos. I never felt like they were in the way and heard from many of our guests that they knew they were getting their picture taken but they didnt feel like they were being stalked!
  
  As for the pictures they were a mixture of serious and hilarious. They made sure to get all the photos we really wanted (on our list) and then came up with great places to get other pictures.
  
  We used our engagement photo book as our guest book at the reception. Best idea ever. The guest loved seeing those pictures too.

Compared to a lot of other area photographers, they were much more reasonably priced for such awesome quality. The colors in the photos were vibrant and crisp, and they gave us a good mixture of posed, formal photos and more fun, candid shots. Plus, they're super quick to respond to any questions you may have, and are very patient with the scatter-brained bride (me!). I would highly recommend Red Door's services!

They truly made our day special with their flexible schedule, positive attitudes and amazing talent. On the big day they were always on time with our crazy schedule and made everything so simple. We had a really tight photography schedule but it wasn't even an issue at all for them. They captured every photo we wanted and were so quick to have everything ready for us after the wedding. I think I was so amazed after looking at our photos that they were not only able to catch wonderful photos of wedding party/family but they also captured wonderful photos of our guests. It was great to look back at photos and see everyone having a good time. For those of you contemplating photographers please please please listen to a recent bride's feedback because Red Door Photo and Design will make your big day stress free and as perfect as you can imagine :)

  I found Red Door Photo and Design by accident--simply searched "des moines photographers" and came across their website. Once I met with them I knew they were who I wanted to photograph my wedding! I'm so glad I chose them!! From the start they were easy to work with--personable, fun, professional, and talented! They were early on the wedding day and stayed late--took more pictures than I could even imagine. They were creative and had great ideas for photos. My husband is not a big picture lover and even he agreed they were great, quick and to the point, but thorough. I can't say enough great things---I would recommend them to anyone!

  I found Red Door Photo and Design by accident--simply searched "des moines photographers" and came across their website. Once I met with them I knew they were who I wanted to photograph my wedding! I'm so glad I chose them!! From the start they were easy to work with--personable, fun, professional, and talented! They were early on the wedding day and stayed late--took more pictures than I could even imagine. They were creative and had great ideas for photos. My husband is not a big picture lover and even he agreed they were great, quick and to the point, but thorough. I can't say enough great things---I would recommend them to anyone!

  A friend recommended Red Door Photo and Design to me and I'm so glad she did! I truly would have missed out had I not known about them. They did such an amazing job! They were so fun and creative! I couldn't have asked for more from a photographer! My album is amazing! It tells the story of my whole day! They are great at editing pictures as well. It was so fun to look through all of my photos! They had shots that I had no idea about, you never knew they were there! I am so grateful to have the disc of my pictures!
