Record Entertainment is the BEST!!
We absolutely loved our DJ’s, Josh and Ike!!! They had the crowd dancing all night and kept the volume at a good level people could still have decent conversation! They had all ages entertained and just all around were respectful to our wishes and accommodating! HIGHLY recommend!

Great wedding DJ!
We highly recommend Record Entertainment! Our DJ, Alex, was professional, timely, and had a positive attitude! He met with us prior to our wedding and was really mindful of our needs. He had great ideas for dinner music and reception flow (but also honored our feedback). We got lots of compliments on the dinner and reception music. Also, their client portal is super easy to use and they are great communicators. You need them for your event!

DJ Josh was amazing!
Josh was a spectacular DJ! He listened to what we wanted our wedding night to be like and worked his hardest to make sure everything went off without a hitch. He rolled with the punches when we had to push some things back and move some things forward, and really helped keep our entire evening on track.
It was most important to us to have a DJ that could read the room and he did just that. If he played a song that didn’t get people dancing as much, he’d come back with something that got EVERYONE on the dance floor. It was a really fun night and we loved the energy. We’d absolutely recommend Record Entertainment and DJ Josh!

Great time!
They was very professional. Our DJ played the music we asked for and for not to be played. Also was nice enough to let our friend email him a song they made for us to be played at our wedding. So that was very nice of him! Would 100% recommend them!

Record Entertainment made sure our wedding went off without a hitch
Terry and Donovan were PHENOMENAL and our dance floor was seriously filled the entire evening. Everyone was all smiles and had the greatest time. They also absolutely killed all the ceremony music/dinner music/special dances timing/etc. They helped the entire wedding run so smoothly. We also had a photobooth through Record Entertainment and they set everything up right in front of our flower wall- which people LOVED! At the end of the night, we got a photo album with prints of our guests and little notes that people wrote as they added their photo strip. It was such a special touch that we loved going through the next day.

Record entertainment was fantastic for our daughter’s wedding. Johnny Ransom was exceptional. He played a wide variety of music, had everyone involved and everyone stayed on the dance floor until the wedding ended. I would highly recommended record entertainment for any occasion- you will not be disappointed. They are amazing!

Fantastic and Accommodating
Our wedding was originally scheduled for June 2020, due to the pandemic, we decided to postpone until August 2021.
Record Entertainment was completely accommodating of our rescheduling. Jennie was super responsive to all my inquiries along the way - responding promptly and in detail. Our DJ (Johnny Ransom) was assigned to our wedding 6 weeks prior to our date, and it was a pleasure chatting with Johnny beforehand. Johnny has been a DJ/Emcee for hundreds of weddings, and knew our reception hall well. Johnny was respectful of the songs we wanted (and didn't want) played, a terrific emcee, responsive to off the cuff moments, and kept things fun and moving along seamlessly. Everything went very smoothly and we are extremely grateful. I highly recommend REI for your entertainment needs.

Get ready to Party ALL NIGHT LONG!!!
We had Mike with Record Entertainment as our DJ for our wedding. He was amazing to work with, super responsive to last minuet requests and played a wide variety of music that had people on the dance floor till the venue closed. He's also the perfect hype man! We are still getting compliments weeks later on how well he did. Our DJ Kevin was fantastic!
We used Record Entertainment for our covid wedding. They were great with the rescheduling process. Our DJ Kevin did a fantastic job! He was so easy to work with. Our guests loved the music and danced the night away! My sister also used record entertainment for her wedding and the Dj was great too! Very reasonable pricing.

Great dance party!
We had a great experience with Record Entertainment. Kerry was our DJ for the dinner/reception and provided support during our outdoor wedding ceremony at Whispering Springs. I love to dance, so it was very important to me to have an amazing dance party at the reception. Kerry definitely delivered, we had a blast. What was amazing is he played songs that got multiple generations out on the dance floor. My parents are in their 60's and made multiple comments about how great a job Kerry did in selecting songs that got them on the dance floor too. Kerry was fantastic to work with, we appreciated his flexibility in doing a zoom meeting prior rather than in person since we live across the state. We've all been to weddings with disappointing DJ's, that will not be you if you pick Record Entertainment! Highly recommend.

So much fun!
Having been to other weddings with Record Entertainment, I didn't have a second thought about which DJ service I wanted at our wedding. When we found out they had a photo booth package, that really sealed the deal! I requested our DJ specifically because he was an old friend, but he never let that get in the way of his professionalism :) Andy was so much fun and helped keep things rolling right along, played a good mix to keep people dancing, and made sure to check in with us a few times to make sure everything was meeting our expectations. Entertainment can make or break your reception & I have been to some weddings where the DJ made it totally uncomfortable but that was never ever a concern with REI. The photobooth staff were great as well and it was a blast looking through all our guests photos the next day! I also appreciate how COVID-conscious they all were. Top notch service that really set the tone for a fun party, as I knew it would be!

Best Bang For Your Buck!!
I had a wedding closer to Milwaukee. I looked at those DJ's and in all honesty, to have Record Entertainment from 2pm to Midnight cost me what it would have been for just the dance using a Milwaukee DJ. You cannot beat the pricing. We had Any Mueller for a DJ (he also did my matron of honor's wedding). He met with us prior to the wedding to go through the questionnaire we had filled out, and then day of the wedding he was on point! He was so nice and so fun and helped our bridal party get organized for the grand march. He kept our dance floor full all night long. We were told by many that we had an extremely fun wedding! So we thank Andy for that, too! Also when we had to reschedule due to Covid, they just rescheduled our date, there was no pushback or money lost or anything, we moved it pretty seamlessly! We had Andy for ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dance. Andy rocked! Thank you Record Entertainment and Andy - highly recommend!!

Alan was everything I could ask for and more! He truly went all out for us! He played all the songs we wanted, allowed for some karaoke and even danced with us! This vendor has very affordable prices and packages to meet your needs right down to the hour. You don’t need to pay an arm and a leg for amazing service. Seriously check them out and ask for Alan!

All around happy with our DJ!
We had a really good expereince with our DJ, Kerry! He was great to work with and created a fun environment for us and our guests! Everyone seemed to have a ton of fun and people were dancing all night. Kerry was very accommodating to time changes and requests we had. Our timeline for the night got pushed back because the food took forever to come out and he was super easy to coordinate getting things adjusted. Michael, our DJ is amazing at what he does! Truly has a passion for music and fun and it shows. He engaged with our guests and was even on the dance floor! Throughout the night he checked with me and the groom to make sure we were good and if there's anything he could do for us. The timing , the sound, the lights-everything was perfect! Kept the party going!
The DJ was very thorough in making sure we had all the songs we wanted, games we may have wanted to play, and keeping people dancing! As the night went on the guests’ energy began to slow down, and our DJ senses this and switched things up to get people back on the dance floor. We also had a photobooth booked through them as well, which was a huge hit! At the end of the night the DJ handed us a scrapbook with all the pictures our guests had taken. The DJ was great at communicating with us all night to make sure everything was going the way we wanted. It was such a fun night.

Alex and Record Entertainment were amazing! Alex and I worked together on creating the best possible playlist, where we were sure everyone would be dancing the entire time and it happened! Kevin F was our DJ for the big day, and I would highly recommend him to anyone! He kept everything organized, efficient, and kept me updated as the evening went on. Great experience. Did extra things for us to provide the music and the program that we needed.
Jenni and our DJ Gregg were a big help to us in planning our reunion event. We provided input as to the music that we wanted and they were great listeners. We had a program that caused us to interrupt Gregg about every 30 minutes, and Gregg never had any problem with it. He just rolled with everything. Gregg has good rapport with our people and made everyone feel comfortable. I highly recommend Gregg and Record Entertainment.

We had the most amazing experience at our wedding! Wheels was the perfect DJ. He interacted with the crowd well, played the music genres that we requested, and mixed it up perfectly for ALL of our guests. Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic DJ
Taylor and I met with Andy to go over our wedding plans. When it came to the big day it was obvious that Andy took the time to review the details. He knew the names of those in our wedding party and remembered details about our kissing game. As far as music, it couldn't have been any more perfect! We asked he played a variety of music to engage all guests, and he did just that! He also made sure to consistently check in to see if we wanted any specific songs to be played. When specific songs were requested they were played immediately. We couldn't be any happier with the service received from Andy and record entertainments. I would recommend Andy to any and all looking for a DJ.

They did a great job keeping the dance floor crowded all night. They played all of the songs I asked for and I didn't hear any that were on my "do not play list". The DJ did a great job checking in with my husband and I not make sure we were happy throughout the night.

Working with everyone at Record was so simple, and everyone was responsive and attentive to what my husband and I had envisioned. One of my biggest wishes for our wedding day was having great music and a packed dance floor--I got my wish! Our DJ Alan was great! At our pre-meeting to plan out the day, he was able to give us great advice and help us plan the perfect dinner and reception. On the day of our wedding, Alan was absolutely amazing. He made sure Charlie and I were happy with the music and even turned up "Your Song" during the dinner after I mentioned it was one of my favorites. He kept the night going and kept everyone out on the dance floor! Finishing off the night with "Piano Man" and the little choreography he had our guests do was so special. I would definitely recommend Alan to anyone and am so thankful he was a part of our day!

We are so happy we signed with Record Entertainment! We had Alex Tryon as our DJ and couldn't have been happier. Alex had a 12 hour day with us in 90 degree heat and remained energetic throughout the entire celebration. He played the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, during dinner, and during the reception dance. We had our wedding on June 30, 2018, and Tom Otte was our DJ. Tom did such an AMAZING job! His variety of song choices keep everyone on the dance floor. Being the bride/groom, he asked throughout the night if there were certain songs we wanted to hear, and he made our songs a priority. Honestly, all the songs we wanted to hear/dance to were played without us needed to ask for them to be played! Tom had plenty of dancing activities that brought everyone out on the dance floor if the dance floor started to clear (which it barely did). Tom was also out there dancing with all of us during those activities too! We got so many compliments from our guest about how great of a DJ he was. Tom was super nice, very flexible, and if there was ever a time where we would need a DJ again, we would pick DJ Tom Otte! Thank you so much Tom for doing such a great job on our special day!

Allen did a fantastic job at our wedding! We aren't huge dancers, so we let him have the reins and I was amazed. The dance floor was full all night long! He talked to our guests to see what they wanted to hear and had out wedding party submit suggestions ahead of time. I am the MOB. I actually asked our DJ about doing a review as we were so pleased with the evening. Our daughter and son-in-law chose Record Entertainment and were matched with Tom Otte. I am always a bit nervous about a DJ as they have such an impact on your event. Tom was fabulous! A perfect match! Music selections for initial reception, dinner and dance were all perfect. I was uncertain about music during the dinner, fearing that it would make it difficult for people to converse. Definitely not the case. After dinner, the dance floor was always filled and yet people could enjoy visiting around the perimeters. During the planning stages I had a few questions and Tom responded in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Tom Otte from Record Entertainment Disc Jockey Service, as would our daughter and son-in-law.

The DJ was great. This was not your "typical" wedding reception as the wedding was actually 5 days earlier in Chicago. The price was great for the service provided as we did not need all the "bells and whistles" that are at typical wedding receptions. They were accommodating in our late request, (about 2 weeks notice).The DJ played whatever was requested and kept the dance floor full. He was very entertaining. I would highly recommend Record Entertainment for any DJ needs.

Our DJ Kerry was awesome!
Everything went very smooth with him from setting up a meeting before the wedding until the end of the wedding night!
He was very flexible and had great ideas when we found out space would be tight in the reception venue with the number of guests we had RSVP!
DJ Kerry was also accommodating the night of when it came to song requests, and playing excellent music to keep people out on the dance floor! There wasn't a moment where someone wasn't out dancing!
If I ever need a DJ in the future I will definitely work with Record Entertainment again!

Andy was the dj for our wedding at The Osthoff and he was awesome. We didn’t have to worry about anything and the night was exactly what we wanted.

Our wedding DJ, Tom Otte, was wonderful. He met with us in person on his own time, which was greatly appreciated, to go over our thoughts and preferences. On the wedding day, those specifics were met and our guests had a wonderful time. As busy as we, the bride and groom, were we made sure to make time to enjoy the dance floor. Thank you to Record Entertainment and Tom for making our dance and music perfect!

Everything about Al Kuenzi as a DJ was absolutely top notch- friendly, fun, professional, knowledgeable... Everyone loved him! Jennie H. handled the logistics behind the scenes like a Pro as well. I highly recommend this company and this DJ (Al) for any event!

Al Kuenzi, our DJ, Record Entertainment, our DJ service, and Jennie Holzmann, the booking agent, all did a great job for our wedding. Al, especially, as the DJ on site on our wedding day, was an absolute joy. The whole organization was professional and courteous. They played for my ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dance... the entire day... and it was perfect. They were also much lest costly than other DJs I researched. I'd hire them all again in a heartbeat.

Alex Tryon did an absolutely awesome job for our wedding. He had everyone out on the dance floor all night. Several of our guests complimented us on what a great job he did all night. He was extremely polite and very fun. He was flexible with his schedule as he came out the night before to our rehearsal since he would also be doing our ceremony music. He made sure our day was absolutely perfect. We would HIGHLY recommended Alex Tryon and Record Entertainment to anyone who wants a GREAT DJ for their event!!

Johnny was our DJ, and he ran the night for us! He got everyone excited for our grand march, kept people entertained throughout dinner with the music we wanted and the "kissing game". He helped coordinate the dances on the dance floor and the music order was absolutely perfect to keep everyone dancing the whole night!
