Rebecca and her associate, Nichole, worked together to ensure we had incredible photographs to remember our wedding day. The timeliness in which we received a sneak peek and our actual photographs was so fast, and we truly have the most beautiful photos to remember every special moment. The Best Duo
From start to finish, we had a wonderful experience with Rebecca Hicks Photography. I found Rebecca on Instagram and I really liked her photography style after looking through her website galleries and Instagram feed. I had a call with her where she explained everything that was included and discussed my goals for our photos. We really enjoyed our engagement session with Wilson and Rebecca and they immediately became like friends. We received our photos for our engagement session, bridals, and wedding SO QUICKLY! Which was amazing because I was so eager to see them all.
The communication with Rebecca was easy and I always received a prompt response. For the wedding day, Rebecca prepared me ahead of time with a photography timeline and a call about what to expect. When the day came, Wilson and Rebecca were awesome. We had multiple locations and they made everything run smoothly. Rebecca Hicks Photography was the second vendor I hired for my wedding, so, early on Rebecca offered wonderful suggestions on other vendors which helped me with planning. An awesome duo!
Rebecca and her husband, Wilson put everything they had into photographing our special day. We had such a fun time with them from enjoying dinner and engagement photos in Charleston, SC to an extra session with our pups, bridals in Columbia, SC, and most importantly the wedding day.

Throughout the entire process, Rebecca and Wilson were so personable and flexible. They were very helpful normally we are not picture people but she posed us which really helped. They knew all the great places for the best shots. We did our engagement and wedding photos with them and they turned out beautiful. I couldn't have imagined working with anyone else on our wedding day. I definitely recommend them! We were very happy!

Rebecca and Wilson were absolutely great! She shot our engagement photos, bridal portraits, and wedding. They are definitely the best bang for your buck as they provide 10 hours of service on the wedding day whereas most photographers only provide 8 hours. She was extremely accommodating considering Covid-19 and recently having a baby! The photos turned out absolutely beautiful and she provided me with so many options to choose from! Overall a pleasure to work with and great people!

A moment in time!
Our wedding day went by so quick and seemed like a dream! We LOVED working with Rebecca and her husband Wilson. They made us so comfortable while shooting and were very creative, she even had her husband throw rose petals up and run away real quick, to get the most amazing shot! They captured so many fun and intimate moments throughout the evening. We got our photos just a few short weeks later, even during the holidays. LOVE my wedding photos
We just received our photos back (TWO weeks after our wedding date!) and I couldn't be happier with the pictures that we will now have for a lifetime to relive our best day ever! Rebecca and Wilson are a great photography team. She really listened to what I was hoping for with wedding photos and made my vision come true. She made sure to get all of the detail shots, family shots, candid photos and special moments of the wedding day. We met Rebecca and Wilson for our engagement photos near Winston Salem and felt like we had known them for a long time even though we had just met. They made us laugh and feel comfortable for our first time in front of the camera. This was great because it made the wedding day less nerve-wracking! I was not stressed one bit during my wedding day because I knew Rebecca would handle everything in a timely and professional manner. Looking at these photos for the first time since our wedding day makes me feel like I am right back there, and that really shows her skill as a photographer! Amazing Wedding Photography Experience!!
From my bridal portrait session to the day of our wedding Rebecca and Wilson did an amazing job of capturing the love and intimacy of our legacy. Rebecca was excellent at coordinating with our vendors to make sure the timeline was on point. She was able to rangle our rambunctious wedding party to make sure everything we wanted out of our pictures was accomplished. It was windy and freezing cold on the top of the mountain where we were married and the shots are so beautiful you wouldn’t ever know! Rebecca and Wilson did such an amazing job. Everything was so professional and so organized, given what she had to work with. Both myself and my husband have rather large families and when it came time to do the extended family shots, they both handled it with great patience and poise and got everyone into position in no time. Every shot was beyond anything we could've ever asked for and and exceeded all of our expectations. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

Rebecca and her husband Wilson were amazing on my wedding day! I had a very weather crazy wedding with it being sunny, then shadowy, then rainy, then sunny again which posed a major challenge with it being an outdoor wedding. But all the pictures came back wonderful and we even managed to stay on schedule with the timeline as I opted not to do a first look. They are extremely punctual, Rebecca responds immediately to any questions or concerns, and she has a phone conversation with you leading up to two weeks before to get all the details and shot list figured out. Overall they are amazing, very friendly, quick on getting you your photos (got mine about a week after the wedding) and their professionalism and personality just makes you feel very at ease especially on one of the biggest days of your lives! I highly recommend them. As well, I know their business is growing bigger so they have more availability and cost options for people as well.

Rebecca took our Engagement Session photos and we couldn't be more pleased! This was both of our first time in front of the camera and she did such an awesome job of making us feel comfortable and be ourselves. She definitely captured both of our personalities. She also took the time to make sure she was getting the perfect shot...our session was in a heavily crowded park but based on our pictures you would never know! Her use of natural light to compliment the backdrop is simply breathtaking. Also, we got our pictures back super fast, which is a huge bonus!

Rebecca is a wonderful photographer! She’s professional, flexible, timely, and very patient. She did a beautiful job with our engagement and wedding photos! The quality of her work is top notch. For our engagement session, we picked Glendale Shoals Preserve & Waterfalls to shoot at, but we came across some unexpected construction when we got there. We were unable to get a lot of shots in there because of it, so we had to look elsewhere to finish the session. Rebecca recommended a spot called Taylors Mill, so we drove an extra 30 miles to get there. Let me tell you that it was worth it! The glass back drop was absolutely gorgeous. I was happy that she was flexible with moving sites and willing to take another hour of her time in order to get our pictures.
For the day of the wedding, I made a list of all of the photos we wanted and we got them all accomplished. She kept the crowds going with getting the group photos taken quickly. She was patient with everyone and was very considerate. The turn around for the photos took no time at all. I can’t wait to put them up around our home. We recommend Rebecca 100%!

Rebecca has been amazing since day one. She is quick to respond and even quicker to deliver incredible photographs. We were so in love with our engagement photos and could not wait for our wedding photos which she got back to us while we were still on our week honeymoon! Wilson is also an incredible addition and balances her perfectly. We were very lucky to have been referred to her and plan to refer others soon to be brides! Professional, but still makes you feel completely at ease. Amazing planner and will make sure you get exactly what you want!

My daughter met Rebecca through two undergrad friends, and I now feel like a part of the Hicks family!! Rebecca kept Emily’s thoughts in mind and incorporated them with her own. Such a dynamic duo, Rebecca and Wilson, keeping the wedding day running smoothly while nerves of the bridesmaids were going astray. We will miss them greatly!!

Rebecca and Wilson are an incredible team! Rebecca is a tremendous communicator and helped me a ton with day of timeline and planning! She was patient with family and bridal party members on the day of the wedding as we had a lot of photos to take. She worked to make sure we got them all and they turned out unbelieveably gorgeous! Her eye for detail shots is phenomenal! Wilson is kind, helpful, has his own creative flair and takes amazing pictures as well! Rebecca Hicks Photography is an excellent choice for your wedding! Her photos are absolutely amazing! She and her husband Wilson are an awesome team - friendly, helpful, and so fun to be around! For our wedding, Rebecca worked around some inconvenient weather at an outdoor venue and still got great shots inside and out. She is extremely responsive and was helpful with all my questions leading up to the big day. Most exciting of all, we got our photo gallery back within a week! I contacted Rebecca for my sister who was having a cross country destination wedding. After emailing with her a few times, she and Beka spoke / emailed several times to get just the right feeling Beka was looking for.
Rebecca and Wilson were prompt (even a few minutes early) to get set up and get some of the detail shots. Due to an emergency (every wedding is supposed to have one, right?) we were behind schedule, but she was able to work around and get most every shot Beka wanted.
The pictures were sent much earlier than I anticipated (I remember waiting weeks for mine many years ago from the photographer that shot my wedding.) And they were great. They exuded the love and the fun that was there that day.

Rebecca was SOOO cute when we met for our engagement photos! We bonded over our love for Taco Bell. Since then, I knew how much i could trust her for our wedding. She nailed what we wanted and stuck to a timeline to get it all done! Not to mention we got our photos back in a WEEK!! 800 PHOTOS THAT ARE PERFECT A WEEK LATER?! Seriously. Rebecca & her husband recently did my college graduation pictures with two other friends. She was absolutely wonderful! The ceremony was at our home church and didn’t have the best scenario for pictures but you wouldn’t know that by looking at them. Rebecca found ways to make all of our shots look perfect! For our engagement shoot, Rebecca was very flexible with her scheduling, and even hiked a mile in the mud with us to take some awesome waterfall shots! She thought of every detail on our wedding day, and was sure to capture all the shots we wanted. We have received endless compliments on our photos. Working with Rebecca and Wilson on our wedding day felt like spending time with old friends. They made us feel so comfortable and natural-not like we were being stalked by strangers with cameras on our big day. As if they weren't sweet enough, they sent the sweetest package the week after our wedding-they truly went above and beyond. We couldn’t be happier with the experience we had or with the quality of our photos-we are already talking about booking them down the road for the next steps in our "legacy"!

We booked Rebecca for the wedding/engagement photo package. She was the first to respond when we put our inquiry in, and stayed in constant communication with us. Her professionalism and excellent communication skills were what swayed us towards her as our photographer, but after viewing her beautiful photos, we were even more convinced. Neither of us had ever taken professional photos before, and had no idea what to wear or do, and she sent an entire pamphlet via email to help us out. Our engagement photos were much more fun than I could have imagined, as we were all laughing the entire time, and the photos are beyond amazing! We can’t wait to have her as our wedding photographer in October!

I was planning a wedding in SC from OR and we didn’t have any idea who or how to go about finding a photographer. We ended up choosing Rebecca and I’m so glad we did! She was very responsive via email, and was even willing to meet with my Mom a few times just to say hi! Not only was she sweet and a joy to work with, the day of she was professional and on top of it! She was willing to give clear directions and was very quick when it came to family portraits, which I appreciated! Obviously the greatest gift about Rebecca is the actual photos! She posted a few a week after the wedding and I am in LOVE with all of them! She even did a small blog about our wedding and it touches me to see that she takes pride in the work she did on our special day. She captured emotions that we’ll have to remember again and again. Rebecca is amazing in every way! The very first time I contacted her about an engagement shoot, she responded immediately, and with the most helpful advice. She is always accessible and extremely accommodating on scheduling your shoot! I changed the date and location several times, but it was never a problem for her! During the shoot, Rebecca made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We can be somewhat camera shy, but Rebecca made it seem so natural and we had the best time! The MOST PHENOMENAL PHOTOGRAPHER!
I chose to hire Rebecca Hicks when I saw how much she appreciated natural light, and how positive she was about every photo shoot of hers that she posted about.
The first time I talked to Rebecca, I knew I had to hire her as my photographer. She was so quick to respond, she was extremely kind and giving of her time, and she was so laid back. She has fantastic energy, and a great presence about her that made me feel like we had known each other for years. Rebecca is always smiling, always on time, and always ready to answer any question you have.
As for wedding photos, Rebecca took SO many! She shot every pose I asked for, and even some I never would have thought to take. She was quick too! Everyone told me that pictures would take so much longer than I would ever imagine, but Rebecca was so aware of time and so quick with transitions and changes that we were actually AHEAD of schedule! And what's even more is we never felt rushed or shoved around.
I received all my photos less than TWO WEEKS after each session. I couldn't believe how fast she was at uploading, editing, and posting them! My photos are elegant, timeless, and simply beautiful. I cannot thank her enough.

Rebecca has been absolutely amazing to work with in planning and executing a successful engagement photo session for my fiancé and I! From her detailed, informative engagement photo style guide, to answering my texts about outfits, to sending beautiful location options, and more... she has been there to reassure me and support me through the entire exciting process! We took our engagement photos one evening and she had two sneak peek photos posted to social media within a few hours of the shoot and had our gallery to us in an extremely short time period. She is quick to respond to any question, gives helpful advice, and truly wants to capture the love that each partner has for the other. She did just that for us in our engagement session and I cannot wait to hang these photos in our home proudly for the rest of our lives. Because of Rebecca's hard work and dedication to her couple's, we had an amazing afternoon, dreamy photo session and the photos turned out more amazing than we could have ever imagined! I highly recommend her and I cannot wait for my bridal portrait shoot with her and for her to capture our big day!

Rebecca was great to work with. On first contact she made me feel important and not like another paycheck. There was another bride interested in the same wedding date. She gave me first choice since i had contacted her first. I thought that was very professional of her. That was one reason i chose to go with her because it showed me she was in it for the brides she works with. Her pictures are great and her prices are as well. I would recommend her.

We could not have imagined having a better photographer. Rebecca made us both feel extremely comfortable during our engagement session, ( we had no idea what we were doing) she gave us direction and by the end we felt like pros! She responded to every single question I had almost immediately prior to our session and during the shoot she was not afraid to get sweaty and dirty to get the perfect shot! Rebecca was so great for our wedding! She travelled from South Carolina to GA and was able to meet with me to go over details in person. She was so easy to work with and I just received the photos and they look so great!

We felt as though we had an immediate connection with her when we first met, and decided right away that she was the perfect person to capture one of the biggest days of our lives.
