DJ P-Lo was absolutely AMAZING! We ordered his full package DJ services and he delivered on every level and more, helping create a night that we will never forget. His audio cues were on point from the ceremony to the cocktail hour and reception and he kept our dance floor packed all night long. And just when we didn't think it could get any better, he busted out the trumpet and all our guests absolutely loved it!

Best Wedding DJ
I was a guest at the Lopez/Pena wedding at Vint Hill, VA on 9/22/25. PLo did a masterful job of spinning great music and enticing the guests to dance and make happy noise. His sax playing was phenomenal. He created an atmosphere of welcome, entertaining and joyous at the reception. Guests in their 80's and guests in their teens partied into the night. The BEST choice!
Hands-down, the best DJ I have ever worked with!
I was searching for a specific style when browsing for my wedding. I was immediately sold when I came across DJ P-LO and his work, he definitely did NOT disappoint! He is such a kind soul, easy to work with and so understanding. I had originally hired him for May 7, 2025, but he worked with me to postpone to August. I unfortunately lost my younger brother suddenly two weeks prior to the original date. There was definitely no way we were going to move forward at that time. He had no hesitation to console me and work with me to meet our needs, even being only two weeks away. He is definitely a unicorn in this industry, not many would be as understanding, patient and willing to work with you.
When the time came, he definitely brought out the party and is excellent at reading the room! My family and I never left the dance floor!

DJ Lauren is worth every penny
We were on the fence about having a DJ for our small, post-wedding (covid) celebration, but eventually decided to book DJ Lauren at your planner's suggestion. And honestly, I can't believe we almost DIDN'T. Patricio and Lauren were both responsive, flexible, and nailed our preferences. I am so glad that we used DJ P-Lo for our wedding! From the get go, he was on the ball and very organized, very professional, and very personable. He was able to help me curate my vision for our wedding through the usage of him. We had a major change a few weeks before the wedding and he responded well, handling it perfectly! During the ceremony and reception, he was all we could ask for and even more. His skills with the music and seamlessly changing songs during the ceremony were perfect! His trumpet skills during dinner were also amazing and set the tone for our wedding even more! He was great during all parts, but we loved how he played to our crowd, there was never an empty dance floor. I could not have asked for a better DJ and I cannot imagine our day without him!

The icing on the cake for our wedding
He made sure that he understood how the wedding was scheduled and inserted our favorite music at the best times. He chose additional music which got the guests dancing. My husband and I got married in October 2021 in Lake Lure NC. We were referred to DJ Patricio by our photographer. The first time we talked to him on the phone we knew we wanted to book with them. Extremely personable and everything we were looking for. DJ Patricio was booked for our day but DJ Chris was available and he was AMAZING!! He exceeded all our expectations. We really did not want to hire a wedding coordinator and I’m so happy we didn’t because we didn’t need one! Not only did he run the whole show, had everyone on the dance floor all night, but he also got my husband and I drinks right after the ceremony before pictures AND went through the buffet line for both of us and got us our food!!! Amazing DJ and band!!
We hired DJ P-Lo for our wedding at the Lake Lure Inn in NC and then later decided that we'd like to add on a band. They were amazing and we got so many compliments about how great the band was! We chose a Latin band because my husband is from Colombia, and they really did an amazing job with salsa, bachata, and merengue -- but also played great songs in English and just in general kept the party going !! I also could tell that DJ P-lo would've been amazing just on his own! He really read the room and got the crowd moving! Overall would highly recommend to anyone!

DJ P-LO was amazing to work with!!! He was very detail oriented, always provided quick responses, went above and beyond to ensure everything went perfectly, and kept the party lively. He was very helpful and so easy to work with too. Since we are a blended family, as requested he played a combination of all the good Latin music and American music. DJ P-LO playing his trumpet during dinner added a unique personal touch to our wedding. The photo booth he provided us with was also a hit with our guest, it was so much fun and perfect for our wedding! Patricio and the musicians working with him were amazing.
The strings for our ceremony were perfect, exactly what we envisioned.
The music during the cocktail hour and dinner was fantastic. It created an ambiance that made the time fun, while allowing folks to have conversation.
As an MC, he was great. The timetable was followed to the letter, and everyone knew what they were doing.
In terms of the dance floor, we had a fantastic time. As did our guests.
Our family is bilingual, so having someone who could speak Spanish was one of the most important things.
Final thought. The trumpet was amazing. Patricio is an incredibly talented musician.
I can’t say enough kind words about our experience with him. From start to finish, the experience was easy, stress free and very very fun.

We reached out to DJ P-LO a few weeks before our wedding regarding photo booth services. I had originally planned on just leaving some polaroid cameras for people to have fun with - but the closer the date got the more uncomfortable I was with that idea. Even though we were so close to the wedding Patrick was incredibly accommodating and responsive about our needs. He arranged a photo booth service with an attendant for our reception and it was one of the biggest hits of the night. Both adults and kids LOVED the photo booth and got to go home with a few souvenirs. We would absolutely reach out to Patrick again if we ever needed his help - definitely went above and beyond!

We got so much more than we paid for with DJ P-Lo. Not only did he keep the dance floor full all night, he also broke out his trumpet at one point and played along with a song, and even rapped with another! He was entertainment we didn’t expect!

We hired DJ P-LO for our April 17th wedding and my husband and I were very pleased with his attention to details, his professionalism, great music selection and keeping us on schedule!!! DJ P-LO went out of his way and worked with our photographer to make sure she captured key activities during our wedding. DJ P-LO's questionnaire and music selection is very thorough but we are sooooooo happy that my hubby and I used these tools because it paid off and our guests had a lot of fun!! DJ P-LO even delighted our guests and played his trumpet at our wedding :D!! We highly recommend DJ P-LO!!

Exceeded expectations!
I reached out to DJ P-Lo when my venue required all vendors to be insured. I had a budget I needed to stick to but my options were seemingly slim in the area for my date. He immediately responded to me and worked with me to get the most services at a price I could afford. He not only is a DJ, but an instrumentalist as well and my guests loved it! He provided up lighting, microphones, and was adamant to stick to the timeline that I had created and always asked me how I wanted things done in order to ensure everything went as planned. He did our ceremony and reception without a hitch. I will never use anyone else and he is who I will recommend for all other friends and family that need a DJ. Thank you DJ P-Lo!

DJ P-LO was a huge hit at my wedding! He helped with every involving the music for the ceremony to the reception. He even helped out by mashing up two songs for our surprise dance! He is very professional, and friendly person! My family is not the dancing type but he got everyone out on the floor dancing until we had to leave! Wow what a great DJ/MC. From the first talk, my wife and I knew we wanted him as OUR DJ. Just talking to him you got so much energy and great vibes . Awesome person to talk to. If you have a doubts or questions about the music, he will be there helping you out with no worries. Most of our families were from Miami and we held our wedding in Concord NC . DJ P-LO had everyone on the dance floor all night . No one wanted the music to stop . But even from the beginning of the ceremony playing piano instrumentals with a wireless speaker and giving our officiant a wireless mic . To playing every song we wanted on cue . WoW!!! What a great night with PLO Ultimate DJ and Live Music Experience DJIng for my daughters wedding this past Saturday night!! It just goes to show you if you have a great DJ even with a small crowd you can have a blast. The best DJ/Musician with full-service lighting and MC-ing
As a retired professional musician, I knew I would be super picky with our wedding music. I bounced between getting live music or a DJ and found DJ P-lo who is a great blend of awesome DJ, great musician (hello keytar and trumpet), and singer. He was the first vendor I booked because I knew right away I just wanted him to be the MC for our special day. Not only was he quick with responding he was very detailed with the whole wedding day process from arrival time, pre-music, ceremony, cocktail hour, rehearsal dinner, and our last song. He meticulously timed every planned song perfectly and kept everyone dancing or entertained. Instead of stressing about playlists I let DJ P-lo take the lead on the whole day and he did an amazing job.
DJ P-Lo was able to read the crowd well and adapt each song to the energy of the crowd to keep the party going. He even had a few songs for the salsa and bachata dancers in the crowd (per their song requests). During dinner he gave a great performance enhancing jazz tunes with his professional trumpet skills and then shattered the dance-floor with his energetic keytar and vocal abilities. Many of the guests commented about how this DJ was “like no other DJ they’ve encountered from other weddings.” Even more guests were so surprised on how I found a DJ who can sing, dance, and perform. The big comments for the weekend were “Your DJ was so awesome! Where did you find him?” and “It was the best wedding party I’ve ever attended.” DJ P-Lo is interactive, fun, energetic, and a talented musician. He did a very good job lighting our venue as well (Rumbling Bald Resort) and was well-prepared with a second setup due to our reception and ceremony site being a good distance away. Book DJ P-Lo and you will not be disappointed.

DJ P-LO was everything you could want in a DJ. He was professional and responsive. He took into account our tastes and the kind of vibe and party we wanted to create. He made sure it wasn’t too loud or too soft and was very flexible with us about a couple of last minute changes. He blew us away with playing the trumpet and his singing. DJ P-LO did our wedding reception music and it was a huge hit. He could read the crowd and knew exactly what to play at the right time. All my friends have mentioned to me how much they enjoyed his personality and music choices. He was very professional and made the effort to ensure the night was exactly how we had envisioned. We had such a great experience with DJ P-LO! He was so fun and kept the party rolling all night. The MOG and Groom had a special dance planned and he was able to do the mashup just how they wanted on short notice! He was very flexible and super easy to work with. Holy smokes, Pat is amazing! We put hiring a DJ in my mother-in-law's to-do list, and she did not disappoint. Pat was professional, warm, and so friendly. He included a lot of our sample playlists, so it was exciting to hear music we loved throughout every part of the night. When he busted out his trumpet during dinner, you could hear the ripple effect of guests saying, "Oh my God, HE'S actually playing that!" He joined us on the dance floor for a couple of fast songs, singing and getting the crowd involved. If guests aren't feeling a song, he fades out at the right time and changes the tone. He even came by to see me a couple of times and ask how things were going and did I need anything. Hire him. Do it. Worth every penny and the easiest decision you'll make.

Patrick is a wonderful DJ and gave us the party of a lifetime! He was a pleasure work with before the wedding; answering all of our questions, getting our song lists organized and prepared and helping us pick songs to play! He is so kind and genuine, you just want to hang out with him on the weekend! We were so happy to add him to our vendor team (our other vendors loved him too!).
He provided our ceremony music, which was lovely. Given we got married outside, he did a wonderful job making sure the music carried across the field we were in and that it wasn’t washed out by the sound of wind or people talking.
Now for the party, DJ PLo is an extraordinary DJ! This man got on the floor with us and played the trumpet, sang and danced with us! Our guests were floored by his enthusiasm and his ability to just keep the party going. The phrase “I love this DJ” must have been one of the most frequent things mentioned that night (and after!). I don’t think we had more than 5 people sitting at a time (we had everyone from kids to grandmas and grandpas dancing!), he kept everyone dancing, singing and happy! He played all of our “must have” songs. He kept the wedding paced and moving as well, keeping track of times for special dances, speeches and announcements.
In short, HIRE THIS MAN!! His packages are very affordable, especially for the quality of work that he provides. He is WONDERFUL to work with and you will not get a better party!

Patrick was an incredible presence at our wedding. He was extremely professional, worked with our wedding planner, and took care of all of our special moments with ease. When the dance floor would begin to settle down, PLO would suddenly be right in the middle singing or playing the trumpet along with whatever song was playing, and everyone would jump back to their feet. He truly kept the party going all night and accommodated any song request. By the end everyone wanted to know WHO was this multi-talented DJ?? Thank you so much Patrick!!!

DJ P-LO is truly an exceptional DJ at a very competitive price. He was so responsive to my needs! His experience was able to guide me in knowing what type of equipment I wanted and needed such as extra microphones, speakers, etc. for ceremony deck (in addition to reception), fun lighting for the dance floor, etc. He played all the correct music, is talented in playing his own musical instruments, easily gets the crowd going, and quickly fills up the dance floor. I have nothing negative to say about my experience with DJ P-LO. I continue to get compliments about how awesome my DJ was weeks after the wedding!

The X’presso Part Band group of musicians played their instruments to perfection. The Cuba and Puerto Rcan songs played transported all to great Caribbean memories. Everyone danced and were very happy. Lovely the Grandfather (89 y/o) dancing to Willy Chirino’s “Lo Que EstaPa’ Ti”. Great group of musicians

DJ P-LO was the best! He was so professional and so thoughtful. He guided us in our choices and was so nice to work with. I was so glad he was there because he kept everything on track and moved our party from one area to the next. We had a different kind of wedding with three different areas to move in and out of for the ceremony, the meal and the dancing. He has so much experience that he is able to give advice on what takes place and when and for how long! This gentleman is more than a DJ - he is a great MC and will keep your party moving along at the pace you want it to flow. He was wonderful! I can't say enough good things about what a spectacular job he did! Thanks so much P-LO for making this wedding a day to remember!

Very nice, very professional, reasonable price, we couldn't ask for more from a DJ. He was very accommodating with the songs we choose and communicated very well with my mom and I.

DJ P-Lo was very professional. He went above an beyond to make sure the entire reception went smoothly. As the mother of the bride, every time I asked him for anything he was right at there to help. He travels around the venue (never sits down) and has a pulse of everything around him. He was excellent!

Patrick was FANTASTIC! We were really overwhelmed by all the choices we had to make at first, but his questionnaire helped guide us through it and make the process of choosing music MUCH easier! We had a few songs that we only had via MP3, and he was able to work those in for us. The trumpet playing was such a beautiful addition! Many guests complimented it, and it was a really nice touch. The volume, mixing, and timing of everything was spot on! We are so happy we chose DJ P-Lo :-)

DJ P-LO was a true pleasure to work with! He was incredible patient with me- as I am the slowest email responder in the world, and offered amazing service. Our day went truly without a hitch. He had everyone out on the dance floor the entire night, and transitioned perfectly with the flow of the evening, keeping it PG for my grandparents and children at the beginning of the night, and then getting rowdy with my younger friends near the end. His questionnaire was perfect to make sure we didn't forget a single magical moment and got all our favorite songs included. Also the price was more than reasonable for what an amazing service we experienced, ended up being more affordable than I expected when i started talking to different DJs and Bands!

Patrick was early and spoke with the groom, the bride, and the best man. We lost power in Hrricane Matthew and he was able to continue by piping the music through a truck and then with a generator. People are still telling how great everything was.

DJ-PLO was great! He DJ'd my sisters wedding a few weeks ago and was very accommodating! After realizing my sister (the bride) made a boo-boo by changing time of the event and forgetting to tell PLO, he was still able to find a way to make it all work!! He went over and beyond to make sure everything was ready. Not to mention us being hispanic - so his taste for spanish music was the perfect touch. Would definitely hire him again!

Our daughter's wedding was held at Nantahala Village in Bryson City, NC and Patrick provided the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He was fabulous to work with, and we are thankful that he was able to provide the music for this very special occasion in our family! He was great about communicating with us all through the process, very responsive to all of our requests to play any and every song we asked for, he was flexible, dependable, kind, and very professional! He even played the trumpet during part of the evening, and he was outstanding! I would highly recommend DJ P-LO for any special occasion that you may have!

I got married on May 7th, 2016. I was nervous about booking a live band. My wife and I are both musicians and had high expectations--a band that could cover multiple genres. I'm also Latin, and wanted quality Latin Jazz. DJ P-LO not only met our expectations, HIS GROUP FAR EXCEEDED ALL OF OUR EXPECTATIONS AND BLEW THEM OUT OF THE WATER. I can't say it enough, from his professionalism, communication, openness to feedback/direction (I had sent him an exhaustive list of songs, genres, and transitions I was hoping for), to his interaction with the crowd, live band mix with programmed music and, of course, the basics--he was on time, he set up and broke down properly, and he checked in with me all night to make sure he was meeting expectations...which again, he wasn't--he was FAR EXCEEDING THEM! (Did I say that already?) His band mates were professional and spectacular soloists, singers, and musicians. You cannot go wrong with booking these guys. We are so thankful that we had a FANTASTIC PARTY because the music had us ALL DANCING ALL NIGHT LONG (and it was an ethnically diverse group read: Southerners that may not be used to Latin Jazz). What a great price for such great quality!!!
