Nate is truly the most professional, flexible and kindest vendo I worked with throughout all of my wedding events. We had a large Indian wedding that spanned multiple days. He provided our wedding recap video two weeks after our video and it was incredible! Numerous people commented that it was the best wedding video they had ever seen. I had a couple of slight asks (showing my nephew a little more) and he immediately re-edited the video to show more shots of him. Our longer videos were also beautifully done and well captured despite our wedding day being on a day it was monsooning! Nate is so easy to work with and making his clients happy is clearly his number 1 priority. In addition, his response time is super fast. I highly recommend using Nate and his team for your wedding day! Two of my other friends used him and loved his work as well!

Nate truly is the best!! One of our friends had him as their wedding videographer and we fell in love with his work (and him) after seeing their video. We watch our video over and over and over again. It was everything we could have imagined and more. You can tell he loves what he does. If you are looking for a wedding videographer to capture your entire day on film, he is the one for you!! Very personable and very funny. Thanks Nate!!

If you are looking for the best, Nathaniel is it! I have been waiting many years to have him be part of my special day. Being in the wedding hair industry, I always hear from so many of my brides that they wish they had spent the money for a videographer. That it is crucial for you to be able to re-watch and enjoy your day forever. I first met Nathaniel on a past brides wedding day and when I saw her wedding video it blew me away. I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. He is incredible to work with. I HIGHLY recommend him for anyone getting married, you will NOT be disappointed. Thank you again so much Nathaniel for being part of my day!

All we can say is- WOW! We are absolutely in love with our May 15th, 2016 wedding recap and full videos by Nate Armstrong at Reaching Roots. Just as expected, we are absolutely thrilled with the footage Nate and his team captured of our special day. We knew of Nate and his team from friends whom married in October of 2012. We relived every moment while watching and his amazing edits vividly displayed our story as perfectly as we remember. Nate and his team are extremely professional, organized and timely. An amazing team to work with! We were hired as Event Planners for day of and happy that we could to see how they work behind the scenes. Always on point, professional, easy to talk to, kind and knew where to be at what moment. Not a second was lost or not captured during the entire event! They have very prompt response to questions and emails we sent them. We also noticed how much our client smiled and loved having them video their special day. We highly recommend them for video services for your wedding and/or event. You will not be disappointed!

Nate was the videographer at my cousin's wedding the year before mine and the one vendor that I had in mind before I was even engaged! After seeing my cousin's recap and full video, I knew without a doubt that I really wanted to book Reaching Roots Studios for my own wedding. Luckily, he was free. Nate was so flexible throughout the entire process and even helped us customize a package just for us. My husband's family all live abroad and his parents could not make it to the wedding so Nate explored different additional video options with us - from live streaming the ceremony to including the raw video from the ceremony (the option we ended up going with). Even the "raw" footage was beautifully done and edited. Nate quickly got us our recap video too and it brought us to tears and laughter. We love it and have gotten so many compliments about it and can't wait to see the full video. Thank you Nate and Reaching Roots Studios!

Nate and his team at Reaching Roots Studios did an amazing job with our wedding video! They were professional, easy to work with, easy to communicate with, flexible, reliable, and have such an amazing eye, capturing some of the most amazing and memorable moments in our lives, in such a unique and creative way. We were so very pleased with the way our wedding video turned out, and are SO happy we chose Reaching Roots to capture such a special day. Nate and his crew were great! They created an amazing short film for our enjoyment within a FEW DAYS of our wedding! The full length was perfect as well. We are definitely happy that we got a videographer and watch the movies they created more often than we look at the many pictures taken. Nate was really able to capture our guests' reactions and caught many things that we missed! Our friends and family were also so impressed with his films! No longer are the days of struggling to watch your wedding video after the first view! I can say that I probably watch my short film at least once a week (and this is 6 months later!) and the full length every month of so! We would highly recommend Reaching Roots!

Nate Armstrong was the best videographer for us (as well as two of my siblings also used him). We all had very different weddings, I may add. We had a full on Chassidic/Jewish wedding in N.Y. & Nate was able to capture all of the memorable moments for us into a wonderful mini-clip as well as a full on movie. We are so thankful for his service and have to say he was a PLEASURE to work with. I recommend him to any one from all different backgrounds. He just was spectacular.

We chose Nate Armstrong to videograph my daughter's wedding at Battery Park on 6-16 because he did my son's wedding in Sept. Nate never disappoints and is incredible at his work. At first we were hesitant to use a videographer in the church because we thought it would be too intrusive. But Nate knows how to be right there without being seen. He is easy to work with not just for the wedding party but also with the photographer. Everything is done with class. The video has received rave reviews from our friends and family and has proven to be the best way to remember this most important event. Now our friends want to use him for their celebrations! Thank you so much Nate!

While planning our wedding, my (now) husband and I researched Wedding Wire and interviewed many videographers. We wanted someone who was reliable, professional, and whose work was unique and would really showcase our wedding day. We were very lucky to discover Nate Armstrong at Reaching Roots Studios. Nate always responded promptly to our questions and was professional and upbeat about our vision for our wedding video.

While preparing on the morning of our wedding, Nate worked with me while his partner, Steve, worked with my husband. Nate was wonderful at combining professionalism and humor, making everyone feel comfortable and at ease. Believe me, on your wedding day you want those qualities!! Nate was non-intrusive and we honestly forgot that we were even being videotaped, which provided truly wonderful candid moments. My husband felt that Steve did a great job capturing the fun and lighthearted banter amongst the groomsmen, as well as working seamlessly with Nate throughout the day.

Now, I’m not one to write reviews but after seeing our complete wedding video I felt compelled to write about Nate and his talent. Our wedding video is truly outstanding! The way Reaching Roots edited the video and set the day to music made our video so fun to watch that we and our parents have all watched it multiple times already. Each time, we are blown away by Nate’s creativity and talent. You will not be disappointed with Nate and Reaching Roots Studios!!

I can’t even begin to say enough amazing things about Nate. I knew I wanted him to be my videographer the first time I watched one of his samples and realized that the way he shot his videos made me care about complete strangers! The day of my wedding, he bent over backwards to get shots I wanted that were almost impossible – he never complained and did everything with a smile. It’s such a pleasure to be able to work with somebody whose presence is calming! When we got our video preview, we were ELATED! It came out so beautifully and everybody commented as to how it embodied our personalities. Nothing generic in the least! He was never intrusive nor did he ask us to do anything that didn’t feel like “us”. Everything was perfect, thank you Nate!

When making the decision on who to choose for videographers, we didn't know where to start or how we would make our decision. After seeing a clip of Nate's work online and speaking to him, our decision was made. Although we did not meet Nate (or his co-videographer) until the day of our wedding, we were not worried at all because Nate was able to answer all of our questions over the phone and through email and we felt he had a good understanding of what we wanted and didn't want on our video. We had 2 videographers (one with me, one with my husband) who were able to capture all of the memories. When I saw the clip of our wedding online,I was overjoyed! And I was so eager to see more! When I watched the completed DVD, I was blown away. It made me laugh, cry, and smile until my face hurt. The most important typical wedding moments were captured, as expected. But it was the unexpected moments that caught me off guard- little things we said or did, glances, smiles, dance moves, etc. The video showed almost all of our 190 or so guests. It was romantically done with a great muscial selection, artistic and creative arrangement, and with passion and professionalism. Reaching Roots is not the least expensive videographer you can find, but you pay for what you get. I am so grateful that we invested our money into our video because it is the closest way for us to relive our wedding again and again. It is the gift that really keeps giving. I can't say enough good things. I am so happy to have worked with Reaching Roots and one of my bridesmaids is using them in the fall. If you are looking to make a good decision and have no worries about your video, please chose Reaching Roots. You will thank me!

We love Nate at Reaching Roots! He's so talented! Before and after our wedding day he was incredibly responsive and helpful. On our wedding day, we barely even knew he was there! His equipment is completely unobtrusive, he's so fun and sweet, and we just had the greatest experience with him. I would give him 6 stars if I could.

We are obsessed with our wedding video and so are all of our friends and family! We have been contacted by so many people telling us how impressed they are with Nate's work. We have tons of friends who work in tv and film and they are so impressed with the artistic and creative energy that Nate put into our video. Its like no other wedding video i've seen. I can watch it over and over again...and we're not the only ones saying that! In addition to his talent, he's a gem to work with. He felt more like a guest than someone we hired. We warmed up to him so quickly which makes you feel more at ease when you're on camera. I can't say enough about the video and Nate. The video exceeded our expectations and we LOVE it. Thanks, Nate! I can not say enough wonderful things about Nate. I was hesitant to have a wedding video as my husband and I are not really people who like to be the center of attention and we thought it would be uncomfortable. Then we saw a Reaching Roots video and immediately changed our minds. Nate was so professional, helpful, and knowledgable. Our mini-video was posted in days - we watched it on our honeymoon! Our full wedding video is like no other wedding video I've ever seen - our friends and family actually enjoy watching it (which honestly is not the case with most wedding videos.) Nate captured our day and never made us feel like we were being watched the entire time. In fact, I am not sure how he managed to get everything he did because he was so unobtrusive. I feel very lucky to have found Reaching Roots Studios - I've watched a lot of wedding videos and have never seen anything on par with what Nate produces.

For me videography was a necessity. I want to be able to look back and hear the voices of people who have passed on, show my kids what a great time everyone had, or just be romantic and listen to us saying our vows again. For the groom he wasn't sure video was worth spending the money on. However, now he says be sure to get a videographer because nothing captures real life moments like video.

One of my favorite memories of the whole event is Nate filming the kids flying kites. Just as he's filming, one of the flower girls changes direction and heads straight towards Nate with her kite. He ducks and rolls with the video camera, a big smile on his face.

All I can say is I admire Nate for creating a business for himself that he can have passion for his work everyday. And let me tell you having that passion for his work really shows in the video. He is an amazing person and does amazing work and I was so pleased that he was able to capture our wedding memories for us.

If you're looking for a wedding video that you'll want to watch over and over again (and that your family and friends will want to watch over and over again!), then Nate is your guy. We cannot say enough about his creativity, professionalism and eye for detail. We didn't meet Nate and his crew until our big day, but with his easygoing, unobtrusive nature, we forgot within minutes that he was catching every little moment on video. The end result was amazing and people are still telling us almost a year later, "It's the best wedding video I've ever seen, I forwarded it to everyone I know." We were able to partner with Nate on the full-length version and he incorporated our music selections along with some neat twists of his own. Our preview video was ready by the last night of our honeymoon- the perfect way to end it. He captured everything perfectly, better than we remembered in that happy, emotional blur of a day. It's a shame you only get one wedding in your lifetime, as we would work with Nate again in a heartbeat! He's a rockstar that will make YOU look like a rockstar on the biggest day of your life.

my husband and i were agreeably adamant about having a wedding that was anything but traditional or conventional, doing things a little bit differently than we had been familiar with from those weddings we had attended. we asked his aunt to become ordained and perform the ceremony, my then thirteen year old nephew gave me away, no maid or honor or best man, only surrounded at the altar by all the children of the next generation of our family. so when it came to traditions like photo and video-graphers, it was an absolute no-no. two weeks before the wedding, however, i wondered if i was making a mistake and would regret not having captured this glorious day on film. i did a websearch and found a reaching roots video clip and knew instantly that nate was the guy that i wanted at our wedding, his style absolutely suiting our personalities. he completely understood where we were coming from, and was more than willing to oblige, only offering suggestions he thought we should consider. and he led us in the right direction. the completed product still brings tears to our eyes, a video that everyone seems to enjoy watching (no, really, no dreading the "who would like to watch our wedding video" question!).
nate is not just a typical videographer, turning over a simple wedding video. rather, expect to receive an oscar worthy short film, with the movie subject your wedding day. i couldn't say enough about him, nor emphasize how pleased we are with the finished product. he managed to capture the very essence and emotion we set out when planning our wedding day and, luckily, i now have a video that will remind us for years to come.

Nate was extremely easy to work with. I booked him the week of my wedding and didn't even sign the contract until the day of. Nate showed up early and captured everything. He stayed up late to finish my sneak peak video before I left for my honeymoon and I loved the product. He made a full length video and sat with me while I watched it and made comments. Everything was perfect and he was happy to make the few changes I requested. I am so happy that I have moments of my wedding on film. He helped show me things I couldn't see the day of. I highly recommend.
