What a blast!

We hired Ron based on the recommendation of a friend and he did not disappoint! Great music all night, kept the dance floor busy and the photo booth was a great addition enjoyed by all our guests. Great service and professionalism! Happy to pass along the recommendation!

Great Experience

Ron was definitely the best choice that we could have made for a DJ for our wedding. Up until the wedding, he kept in contact with me. Making sure if I had any questions or concerns. He was very professional in every email and phone call that we had. I loved the online forms that he had, letting me go in and have full control on the music and the timelines. The day of, I didn't have to worry about anything as far as when things would happen. Ron was so kind and helpful. If I had to do it all over again, Ron would definitely be who I pick for the DJ again! Thank you!

Great Music All Night

Hired Ron based on recomendation from a friend and he rocked it that night! His uplighting really created the atmosphere in the venue we were hoping for. many compliemtned from our guests and it was just what we imagined. Great time!

Kept my party bouncing!

Very flexible. He provided a wide variety of music. EVERY request my guests made he had! We did have to provide a tent since it was an outdoor wedding; but once we got that setup he rocked the night away. Microphones were provided for the officiant and groom during the ceremony and everyone loved it.

Ron was absolutely wonderful!

Ron was absolutely wonderful! He really kept the mood energetic and adapted the music to the people who were dancing. His son also ran a photo booth right next to the dance floor which was a HUGE hit. We have so many photos of our guests that we couldn't have gotten otherwise. We highly recommend RCB Audio!

Awesome NIght!

Thanks to Ron we had an awesome wedding reception. He made the planning in advance easy and simple; but rocked the dance floor! He provided sound and microphones for the groom and officiant during the service, outdoor music during cocktail hour and had the dance floor moving! He also provided lighting and a photo booth. It was great!

Wonderful DJ,Great Music!! Easy to Work with!

Ron was great to work with from beginning to end; making sure everything went great. He coordinated very well with our planner and had great music selections. His on line system for picking songs made it easy! The uplighting really made an impact on our guests and he kept the dance floor busy! Great Service! Would Recommend!

Parfait!!!

Excellence! Start to finish! This is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He provided sound for the ceremony and microphones for the officiant. Then has sound outside and inside for the cocktail hour and rocked the reception! He had all of our requests and was fantastic helping us get everything ready. He lighting was beautiful and really and really had people on the dance floor! Great times!!

Can't Go Wrong

RCBAudio - DJ provided exceptional service on our wedding day. The lighting they set up was fantastic, creating a warm and romantic atmosphere that truly enhanced the ambiance of our venue. The music selections were on point, and the DJ did a great job of keeping the energy up throughout the night. His professionalism was top-notch, ensuring a smooth flow to the evening.

Moreover, the DJ was very accommodating and responsive to our requests, making sure to incorporate our favorite songs into the playlist. The transitions between songs and genre's were smooth, overall, his ability to read the crowd and keep everyone on the dance floor was commendable. Additionally, the sound quality was excellent, providing crystal-clear music and speeches for all our guests to enjoy.

In conclusion, Ron exceeded our expectations with their stellar service, creating a memorable experience for us and all our guests. We highly recommend their services for any special event in need of professional and engaging entertainment.

Best DJ ever

The title of this review speaks for itself - we and many of our guests found ourselves thinking back on our wedding and saying that Ron was truly the best wedding DJ we'd ever encountered. We couldn't have been more thrilled with Ron's professionalism and attention to detail from the beginning of the process to the day of the wedding. When the dance floor opened he went above and beyond expectations of what I knew about weddings, reading the crowd and matching the mood impeccably. He seamlessly changed the vibe from light fun music to basically a nightclub (per my request) and we had the most amazing time. We highly recommend booking RCB Audio for your wedding day.

Outstanding DJ

Ron was the DJ for my son’s wedding on 2/10/24. I could tell from our first conversation that he was professional and well organized. He visited the venue ahead of time to come up with his plan and executed it beautifully! Coordinating the play list was a breeze for the bride. Everyone had a fantastic time!

Really made the reception a smash!

Ron was a great asset to our wedding! From start to finish he walked us through planning the music. His online planner really helped make things easy and I could plan anytime I wanted.. from selecting the songs to putting in the timeline to keeping track of my other vendors! He made it happen! Always responded quickly and scheduled review meetings to keep us on track and make sure the reception was a huge hit. He also provided music for our ceremony from the time the guests arrived to the very end. Wonderful to work with the entire time!

No glitches whatsoever! Highly Recommend

Finding vendors for your wedding day is quite stressful and there are multiple vendors to choose from. Thankfully we found Ron through our wedding planner / manager of Oakley Farms and he did not disappoint. We were unsure on a few things and he had great questions and knew exactly what he was doing. I even had a last minute change and we added in the shoe game instead of doing a bouquet / garter toss and he came up with ALL of the questions to keep it fun but it also took an additional stress off my shoulders!! Highly Recommend RCBAudio for your wedding day or any other events!!

Ron was very easy to work with. He responded to questions in a timely manner and always conducted himself in a very professional manner. He was timely in arriving and very congenial. He responded to guest requests and provided my niece with outlines for music throughout the wedding ceremony and reception. The dance floor was in constant motion. Flexable, Responsive and Great Music

They were quick to answer any and all my emails. Their experience really showed when we worked together and reviewed all the details they needed. We had a rain delay and decided to have the cocktail hour first, so we could still have the wedding outdoors. Ron had no problem accommodating the switch. What a fun night!

Ron Rocked Our Reception! We hired Ron with RCBAudio for both our ceremony, cocktail hour & reception and it was great! People stayed on the dance floor and he was very approachable and personable when speaking with our guests. Very professional and FUN!

Ron was excellent and when we could not find sparklers for our send off; Ron came through! Don't know where he was able to find them, but he did and it really made our send off! BUT, before that he kept the dance floor happening and hit all the important songs perfectly. Highly Recommend! Great Service!

Great DJ for my Charleston Wedding

Ron at RCBAudio was recommended to us by the venue at Wide Awake Plantation near Charleston and he did not disappoint! This was a destination wedding for us; but planning with him in advance could not have been easier! Ron was absolutely the best to work with. I found him while looking through local DJ's and not only were his prices fair, but his reviews were outstanding! My Wedding

I could not have asked for a better DJ for my wedding. Ron had all of our family and friends on the dance floor the entire night. His detailed preparation before the event made sure everything went smoothly so I didn't have anything to worry about on the day of. And his pricing was extremely reasonable compared to the other DJs in the area. I would book Ron again without second thought.

Great rehearsal and wedding DJ!

Not sure why it says married 2021, but we got married October 26, 2019 and We were lucky enough to have Ron DJ our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. He did a fantastic night making our day special! He kept the music light and fun during the rehearsal so everyone was able to talk and mingle, and even played a special dance song for the groom and his mother to dance for during the night. He kept the flow and timeline perfect throughout our wedding day ceremony and reception, and the had a fantastic music selection! He was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. He had an online database to make it easy to request songs during the planning of the wedding. Do yourself a favor and book Ron of RCBAudio for a great event!

Fun and Responsive

Ron was awesome to work with! Fantastic value and responsiveness. He was extremely straightforward and I loved his easy-going adaptable approach with zero pressure. It really set him apart from some of the other DJs I spoke with. We got married in Folly Beach but live in DC so being able to work with someone easily and remotely is key for me and Ron checked all the boxes. Thank you Ron for being a part of our special day! The end of the night dance party is one that won't soon be forgotten!!

Ron was great at our wedding on May 18th 2019!! Picking music is harder than you think but Ron guided us through the process from day one. His online portal is easy to use as well. He gave us a great variety of oldies to new music and even some in between from the high school haydays when NSYNC was popular. Highly recommended!

Ron and Elizabeth, his wife, were so incredibly amazing! They not only helped to make our special day so perfect, but also made the planning up to our wedding day so easy. We first saw RCB Audio at several weddings that we attended and just had to have them for ours! At every meeting not only were they extremely prepared, but also offered us food and beverages! Our venue had several rooms and Ron made sure that every room was going to have music and sound. We can't even begin to thank RCB Audio for their services. All of our guests LOVED the live slideshow, and we were even able to share all of the pictures with our guests after the wedding. Thank you very very much for everything that y'all did to make our day the happiest day of our lives! We are beyond grateful!

Could not be happier! You will not be disappointed!

Fantastic!! From the first time we contacted Ron we felt total confidence every step of the way! We loved his Live Slideshow enhancement! So many candid photos of us and our guests. They loved seeing themselves up on the big screen as they celebrated with us! Ron and his wife, Beth, kept the evening going and on schedule. We used his online planner, which was great allowing us to view his music library on line to pick our key songs and build the timeline, enter the wedding party names and even helped us keep our contact information for other vendors all in one place! Even though we had access to the planner, Ron followed up with us regularly to make sure nothing was missed or over looked. Very thorough and professional! When it was over we got a digital copy of all the photos he took for the Live Slideshow (over 100+)! Recommend! Recommend! Recommend!!

Ron was incredibly helpful from the initial phone call till the end of the reception. I was so impressed with his organization and setting the review phone calls kept me track! Despite the small number of people at our wedding, everyone was dancing, including my dad (no one had ever seen him on the dance floor)! I would not hesitate to recommend Ron and his team. Free WiFi on the plane and still on cloud nine from last night so I feel like this is the best time to share how wonderful Ron was for our wedding! The entire process of planning was so simple with the online planning tools and Ron was so on top of things with periodic phone calls to review the song selections and reception timeline! We added an amazing service they offer called the LiveSlide Show and I would highly recommend it!! Thank you so much for making our night perfect!!

We absolutely loved Ron for our wedding!!! I chose him based on his professionalism and experience. He was so prompt and accommodating throughout the planning process. Ron was fantastic, incredibly professional and timely; he was setup and ready to go. Not only did the music stay on track with what I asked for, but everyone got really into the Karaoke after all of the speeches were made at our rehearsal dinner. Ron was a great DJ! We booked him because he did a great job at our friend's wedding. He played songs we chose as well as guest requests, and the genre was perfect making a fun dance atmosphere for everyone of all ages. Very communicative throughout the whole process, had no equipment issues, and gave us a military discount which was a plus!

Ron met with us to discuss our event weeks in advance and we went over all the details and options he had to offer. He sent us links to his music app to allow our employees to place their music requests prior to the event and we included the Live Slideshow at the event and everyone LOVED it! Ron did an excellent job from the beginning. He was very responsive prior to the wedding. We had several phone meetings to discuss the song selection and he gave several good suggestions. During the reception he played all nice instrumental during dinner and everyone had a GREAT time when it was time to hit the dance floor! He even played an extra song at the end of the night to keep the party going by request! The only negative thing I have to say is that I did pay for an additional service of having him do the music and audio for the ceremony and the speaker kept cutting out and a majority of the guests could not hear the ceremony; but otherwise he did an EXCELLENT job and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great DJ at a great price. Also, he has this great website where you can choose all the songs you want! Very nice experience.

Ron with RCBAuduio was great to work with! We were a little worried at first not being able to meet in person. But he suggested web conferencing and it was perfect we were able to do that a couple of times and the rest of the time his online planner and e-mail communcation worked great! We had our wedding and reception at an historic house on Rutledge Avenue in downtown Charleston. Ron did the music for both the ceremony (outside) and the cocktail hour / reception (inside). Wed used one of the rooms for the dance and when the dancing started it was not enough room! We had to move tables out of the way in the next room. And he kept it going all night long. Very easy to work with and we were able to select our key songs in advance! What a great time!!

We came in from North Carolina and had our wedding at Isle of Palms. We came down and met with several DJ's and hired Ron right after meeting him. He is easy to work with, very accommodating and has an extensive music library! The tools on his website made planning our destination wedding very easy! Before the wedding we had an online video call to review and make some adjustments and the day went off without a hitch. Would hire him again for any event!

Ron was extremely helpful and friendly. He sent us a website where we could fill out all the details of our day prior (which actually helped us do our best not to forget some things). He was happy to let one of our family friends be the MC. We had our music playing out on the beach during the ceremony and back at the pavilion for the reception. We should have hired him for longer since our guests only started dancing near the end, but it was still well worth it! He did an amazing job and I would definitely recommend him to everyone in the Charleston area!

We got married in May of this year in Summerville and hired Ron from RCBAudio after finding his site on the web. We were impressed. We spoke to other DJ's as well; but after meeting with Ron we knew he was the one for us. He provided sound for the ceremony, up-lighting, lit up the dance floor and kept the party going until the very end! He walked us through every step of the planning and I was able to select my songs in advance through his website. Ron Swain went above and beyond to make our wedding so much more special. He executed all my requests exactly how I wanted and managed to keep the dance floor full until the last dance! Ron was great! Leading up to our wedding he was so organized and helpful! I was so thankful for how on top of things he was. It made planning that much easier. Picking our songs was easy and simple. We got married last year at Cottage on the Creek in Mount Pleasant on Shem Creek. We hired Ron and his team to provide music for our wedding ceremony and than the following reception. They were great! We held all the planning meetings using Skype and his online planning site made everything so easy! I was able to do my planing anytime I wanted. Any questions I had he responded to quickly. As far as the day of goes.. they were excellent, very professional, on time and never missed a beat on any of the things we planned. Ron with RCBAudio was fantastic! Wedding Wire reviews really helped us narrow down our choices and after speaking with the finalist we went with Ron! Easy to work with from start to finish. He provided music and microphones for our ceremony and for cocktail and the main reception. He has an online planner which really helped out since my husband and I both have busy jobs; so we were able to pick songs, work on the timeline whenever we wanted. The times we did have questions and reached out to Ron he always answered in less than a day. Our wedding reception was absolutely perfect. Thanks to the awesome playlist, live slideshow, and flexibility, everyone danced so much they didn't want to leave! Ron and Beth went above and beyond to provide a slideshow of our ceremony during cocktail hour, a personalized slideshow during or first dance, and a live slideshow of everyone enjoying themselves during the reception. Even when the schedule changed Ron kept things going without skipping a beat! We couldn't be happier with the reception, and with all of the photos from the evening we can relive the moments any time.

We had a destination wedding on Goldbug Island in South Carolina and I found all my vendors online months in advance. I emailed and spoke to several before deciding. Ron with RCBAudio made a big impression on the phone and lived up to every expectation! We had sound inside and outside the venue.. wireless! He walked me through every step of the way in regards to our musical entertainment. Providing music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, & reception. His online planner was super convenient since we flew in from the west coast; I was able to plan anytime of the day and when I had questions he always responded in less than a day. We had a few phone calls to confirm everything about a week before and it was spot on. People did not want to leave the floor. I can't even begin to express how wonderful Ron was to work with! I used RCB Audio as my wedding DJ and also purchased the live slideshow option. Communication with Ron was wonderful throughout the entire wedding planning process and even after the wedding. The live slideshow was great and Ron brought everything needed for that add-on service. He incorporated photos that we sent him and then took pictures throughout the night to add to the slideshow. I really enjoyed seeing the wedding photos that he took as I am still waiting on the wedding photos from my photographer. I would definitely use him again and would recommend him for any event! I was beyond satisfied with all of his services. Ron's website is great to use and makes planning your special event very easy. He has a very extensive selection of songs. He respected my "do not play" list even though I did have guests requests songs that I did not want played. As I said before, Ron was truly wonderful. You will not be disappointed.

Ron was wonderful to work with! I planned my entire Charleston destination wedding by myself and picked vendors based on reviews, price and their general overall helpfulness. Going with RCBAudio was one of the very best decisions of my wedding. Ron was professional, knowledgeable and very nice to work with. Ron is the best DJ in town....!!! His professionalism, flexibility and quality of service exceeded our expectations. Was very pleased with Ron Swain from RCB Audio. He was always extremely quick to respond to my emails when I had questions or needed help with wedding information. We had a few last minute changes due to the military that he fixed for us without problems. He kept the guest dancing and entertained all night. We also didn't stick to the timeline that I had originally sent and Ron was extremely flexible and changed everything as we asked. Would highly recommend him!!

I want to start by saying I was very skeptical when it came to hiring a DJ. We went back and forth between different vendors through the various wedding websites. I read nothing but reviews for days, weeks! DJ Ron had great reviews and looked legit so I took the plunge! I must say we couldn't have found a better DJ. And for a better price!! I have heard nightmare stories about bad DJs and that can really ruin your special day! DJ Ron did an amazing job. He sent me the link to his website where you can look up just about any song. There is even a search tool to help you look up songs for your special dances if you need some help. I must admit I didn't use this tool. We had song requests on our RSVP cards so when we met with Ron we gave him a list of about 50-60 songs that our guests had requested. Everyone said they heard their song and it was such a great way to get people on the dance floor! Ron wasn't only helpful with music but also in helping me plan a timeline for the evening. Almost like having a free day of coordinator! I was so impressed with DJ Ron that I raved about him to my friends for weeks!

He was so good. Everyone from friends, family, and even the event staff said it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to. He was a huge part of that. They were so fun and helpful with everything. He really made the event. I would recommend him to anyone. 5 stars for sure!

Ron was so amazing the entire step of our planning process! He made sure that every detail was exactly how we wanted it and even skyped with us cover the details, since this was a destination wedding. We learned quickly that weddings do not always go on schedule, but he easily accommodated the changed schedule and kept everyone happy and entertained. One amazing thing he did was made sure my husband and I got to dance one more time together to a special song we selected right before we left, even though we were way off schedule. It was a fabulous night we will never forget. Thank you Ron!

I helped a friend of mine plan her destination wedding in Charleston and Ron was so great! He was always easy to get ahold of, very responsive, and very helpful. He kept us on the dance floor all night, and wasn't outrageously expensive.

We had a pretty small wedding and reception and used RCBAudio for both. In the weeks before we reviewed everything on the phone (I was able to plan most everything using an online planning system he has) and everything went great the day of. We also took advantage of his Live SlideShow option which got us about 70+ extra photos from our reception. He took requests both in advance and at the event from guests and everyone had a fantastic time. Great DJ Service.

Ron with RCBAudio is the very best ! He was the DJ at my daughter's wedding. The DJ can make all the difference in the world at any function, especially a wedding.
We had previously attended other functions where Ron was the DJ, some weddings, outdoor functions and family functions. We knew that Ron works closely with his customer and we knew that we would use his service when we had a function needing a DJ.
We enjoy music and dancing and wanted a mix of music for our guests to dance - Ron delivered beautifully !!
In advance of the wedding, we met with Ron to plan the music. He actively listened to us regarding the type of music we like and specific songs. He created a detailed list of music for our approval. The dance floor was full during the entire reception and we have great memories ! We recommend Ron for any type of function - you will be extremely satisfied !! We were !

Sorry for the very late review... Ron and his wife were excellent! We had our wedding at James Island County Park at the Conference Center and he provided music upstairs in the main room and downstairs where we had the catering and food. He responded quickly to any of our questions and made sure everyone had a good time. he is definitely flexible and professional. Thanks for a wonderful reception.

Ron at RCBAudio was referred to us by a friend for our Folly Island reception. Ron walked us through every step of the musical planning. From helping with the song selections and everything. His planning guide was available online so I could plan and update it at my convenience leading up to the reception. Everyone, had a great time and we have recently passed his information along to another engaged couple. We could not have been happier with his service.

We hired Ron at RCBAudio to provide services for our 50th high school reunion. It was fantastic! he provided DJ / MC services; up lighting inside the venue; dance floor lighting; and his Live Slideshow service. He was very professional, showed up early to make sure everything was setup and ready before the first person arrived. His music selection was great he had every single request even from the 60's! All his services were great; but his Live Slide Show was over the top. It helped keep the evening fun and he provided me copies of all the pictures (over 100). I would highly recommend his service to anyone looking for entertainment for any event they are planning. Thanks!

Ron was an excellent choice for the DJ for our wedding reception! From the time of booking him, he was very organized, punctual, and professional, and was always just an email or call away for any questions. When it came time for the reception, my husband and I can confidently say that it was the best party we've ever been to. He kept the party going, with all of our favorite and requested songs. We can't thank Ron at RCB Audio enough for creating such a memorable experience at our wedding reception! We will definitely be recommending him to others in need of his service!
