We don't have enough superlatives to reflect how happy we are with our choice of wedding photographers!

Our experience with Ray and Kelly from initial contact to receiving our photos has been joyful and comforting. Finding the right photographers to document our wedding day was so important to us: we had a specific idea for what that photography would look and feel like. Ray and Kelly took time to get to know us and understand our unique vision, then they made it all come to life through their photos. They are such a joy to work with—professional, thoughtful, creative. There are so many details and special little moments we would have forgotten if not for Ray and Kelly’s incredible story telling through their photography. Now, looking through all these artistic, beautiful, whimsical pictures Ray and Kelly took feels like reliving our wedding day!

An Absolute Treasure

I'm genuinely excited for anybody who has the opportunity to book Ray and Kelly for their wedding (or any other special occasion or branding opportunity). They took the time to get to know my partner and I, they understood our vision and values, and they were able to capture the moodiness of the weather, venue, and people (lol). Our wedding was small (50 guests) and somewhat informal (no ceremony, no vows, just eating/drinking/dancing at a friend's 80-acre property). Lots of DIY vibes, very simple. R+K worked their magic and gave us photographs that we will laugh and cry about over and over again. If you have to make budgetary concessions in other areas (like we did) to make it work, you will not regret it. Ray and Kelly make you feel loved, seen, appreciated, and they also create cute opportunities for you to bond with your partner before the big day!

Truly wonderful

Ray and Kelly are the absolute BEST!! We were married June of 2022 and they were a dream - Our photos turned out amazing, and throughout the entire process they were professional, communicative, detailed, and above all, friendly and easy to work with, every step of the way. Can't say enough good things about them : )

Beautiful pictures and wonderful people to work with

Words cannot describe how thankful we are that Ray and Kelly photographed our wedding. First of all they are wonderful people who are incredibly easy to work with. We were planning from afar but they used phone calls and easy (and fun) surveys to make sure they knew us and understood what we wanted them to capture prior to the day of. While we have some posed photos of family and friends the true beauty of Ray and Kelly is their ability to capture the emotion and little interactions that may be forgotten if not preserved in a photo. We did not have a videographer and instead chose to have them do a motion picture (check out their website for examples). It is such a work of art! We would choose them 100 times over again.

The Perfect Team

Ray and Kelly seem like the perfect professional team when you meet them, and they really are! Everything went so well on our wedding day and not once was I worried about the quality of the photos or not having a certain moment captured, instead we could just relax. After our wedding they provided regular updates on the status of our images and delivered them so quickly--and of course they were perfect. If you want beautiful photos and a stress free wedding day pick Ray & Kelly!

My deepest gratitude goes out to Ray and Kelly, for creating memories of our happiest day that will last a lifetime! WORTH EVERY PENNY. I am thrilled with the product- it was everything I wanted for our wedding photos and more; creative content, traditional family shots, candid moments captured in a contemporary manner, and documentation of details I missed on our big day (dessert table, guest interactions, flowers, table settings, etc- you'd be surprised how much you don't actually see on your big day!!). Most importantly, Ray and Kelly are kind, fun-loving individuals who had an obvious passion for their work. They even went above and beyond by using one of our own film cameras during the day as well. Choosing Ray + Kelly Photography was easily the best decision we made for our wedding!!

Power Couple!

Ray & Kelly were evreything we ever dreamed of in wedding photographers. We got married in Wisconsin and currently live in Oregon so they took the time to skype with us and get to know us and make sure it was a good fit. They provide clear information on their pricing and knew exactly what to expect of them. They communicated so well up until the wedding day and arrived on time looking awesome! During the actual wedding day they were amazing at placing themselves naturally into the occassion, sometimes you didn't even notice they were there. We didn't want alot of 'posed' pictures, so the ones we did do with family, they got them done quickly and effectively so we could enjoy the time with our friends and family instead of spending hours taking photos. They are truly really lovely people and we loved getting to know them, they made our day that much better! From what we have seen so far, we love our photos, they have a true eye for capturing all the emotions of such an important day. They are very skilled at candid photos and notice the little details, which I appreciate. I can't reccomend them enough and will be honored to have them as photographers for any events we have in the future. They were the perfect choice. Thanks Ray and Kelly!

Love and Joy From People to Portraits

This review is long overdue and our apologies go out to R+K as we did not reciprocate the professionalism and responsiveness they gave us throughout our wedding journey. However, it is better late than never! Ray and Kelly photographed our wedding on May 27, 2018, but our relationship with them goes back to the first time we talked. One may not think you can have a relationship with your wedding photographers, but that is what sets Ray and Kelly apart. They are a personable, charming, engaging, courteous, considerate, and lighthearted couple who takes the time to fully understand the relationship you have with your spouse and the way that they can capture your wedding day. Through multiple video chats, phone calls, and fun surveys or questionnaires, we got to tell R+K who we were, but we also got to know them. They are wonderful people to say the least!
As for their photography, it was absolutely exceptional. We wanted a photographer that would capture the joy and emotion of the day rather than just the smiles, hugs, and dances. They knew the exact shots to take that showed the genuine love and friendships that had been built leading up to the wedding day and were personified on the day itself.
Turnaround time for a sneak-peak picture slideshow was about 1 month and the full set of images soon after that, which was beyond our expectations. The process for putting together the wedding album was very simple and easy. They allowed us to modify and change pictures and layouts as we pleased and the end product was unbelievable. The pictures are so precise and detailed, it truly took us back to the wedding day.
We would highly, highly recommend Ray and Kelly as your wedding photographer! Our deepest thanks goes out to them for everything they did for us, and we know they will do for you. Thanks Ray and Kelly!

Ray and Kelly were perfect. I will expound on that just Incase you are still undecided on whether or not to ask them to shoot your wedding! They exceeded my expectations in every way, a few of my family members questioned my judgment on setting my budget for photography but I can say in all honestly they are worth every penny and more and those who questioned 100% agreed with me after meeting Ray and Kelly and seeing our pictures. The work that they did and the photos that we have are priceless. Looking back at our wedding day my husband and I can’t imagine it without Ray and Kelly there! They were able to blend in and it felt like we had known them for years! They worked together as a perfect team and it was awesome having two different angles. Ray and Kelly were among one of the highlights of our wedding and one of the best decisions we could have made in our planning!

From day one of wedding planning, everyone we spoke with said to prioritize photographs. Why? Because those will be instant access to your memories and insights into all the seconds that fly by where you can't necessarily stop to breathe, look around, and appreciate the beauty. What they didn't know when they gave that advice was that those memories with Ray + Kelly go back to when you first speak. I won't forget anytime soon our Skype meetings, the thoughtful gestures leading up to our day, or the friendship formed when spending the best day of my life with people who were strangers months ago. They are superheroes who illuminate your celebration and life.

We used Ray + Kelly for a small winter wedding ceremony and a summer reception party. They were great to deal with the whole planning process - very responsive to emails and sent a few fun things along the way. The actual days of the events, they were prompt and up for anything. You forgot you were having your pictures taken and were just having fun with them. They're genuinely kind and good additions to your party! And oh yeah, the pictures. They are amazing! You won't regret having them as your photographers.

Ray + Kelly were amazing to work with! Leading up to our wedding, we enjoyed all the fun messages that came our way- special touches that show they go above and beyond to make the experience as good as possible. Communication via introduction emails, skype sessions, and questionnaires made us feel comfortable when meeting them in person for the first time on our special day. I was surprised how Ray and Kelly made us feel so at ease that we essentially forgot they were photographers, since they felt like good friends. The photos Ray + Kelly captured were absolutely stunning! They had plenty of great snapshots of guests and were willing to take some classic poses, but overall the photos we treasure are the artistic shots that share the story of our wedding day. A highlight of the evening was when Ray + Kelly stole us away for the ‘Golden Hour’ and allowed us to spend some quality time while they captured our interactions in the beautiful light of dusk. Ray + Kelly exceeded our expectations and we are thankful we found them!

Working with these two is such a joy. When we talked about what we wanted out of our wedding photos the one thing we wanted most was photography that told a story, they achieved that so perfectly. The photos of us are beautiful and artful and we will cherish them all the days of our lives. However, the photos of our family and friends is where we feel these two just surpassed all our expectations. They were able to truly capture the essence of everyone's personality. From the initial contact and following conversations to the energy they bring on the wedding these two are the most lovely version of professional.

Ray + Kelly are wonderful people, and wonderful photographers. We wanted low-key, beautiful photos that captured the spirit of the day without feeling like we were posing for a bunch of photos. Ray and Kelly were all we wanted in wedding photographers and more! Before we were engaged, we knew they were going to be the ones documenting our big day. We loved the candid shots of our guests, family, and ourselves. Whenever we look at our wedding photos (which is quite often!), we can feel the emotion they captured. Ray +Kelly are absolutely wonderful! From start to finish they really made us feel like they were not only going to be there as our hired photographers to document our day, but that they would be there as our friends. Ray and Kelly were such a joy to work with! They really made an effort to get to know us before our wedding and we felt so comfortable around them despite never having met in-person. We wanted photos that looked natural and not overly-posed, and they really delivered. Ray + Kelly are absolutely amazing. The most mundane picture can become beautiful through their eyes. If you're looking for real artists for your wedding, they are by far the best I've seen. Despite how amazing their photography is, what really drew me to choosing them as my photographers was their interest in us throughout the process and trying to get to know us better. It made the experience personal and we have beautiful photographs to remember our day by.

If you are thinking of going with Ray + Kelly, do it! You will not be disappointed. Visit their blog or website, and their pictures will speak for themselves. Ray + Kelly were an absolute pleasure to work with! From skype meeting with them beforehand to our engagement shoot and our actual wedding day, they made everything easy and enjoyable. We found them by perusing the many wedding blogs, and we loved their use of natural light and their ability to capture the day without posed and set-up shots. We were really busy the summer before our wedding and we very much appreciated that they worked around our schedules to meet with and do an engagement shoot. They're also laid back and fit in easily with our family and friends, which made everyone so much more relaxed. They made it a point to get to know us ahead of time and the quality of the results really showed they knew us and what we were looking for. We would work with Ray and Kelly again anytime and would highly recommend them for any wedding!

I could not be happier with Ray and Kelly. We knew at our first meeting that we wanted to work with them. From the start, they made it a point to get to know us. They told us that they wanted us to be comfortable and to see them as friends rather than just wedding vendors. And they meant it. They asked questions about our lives and each other. We communicated mostly by email and they were always thorough and prompt. They sent us little tokens to let us know how excited they were to be at our wedding. It was such a sweet way to let us know they cared.
We did engagement photos and had to reschedule a few times because we wanted to shoot outdoors with snow. They were very accommodating, and we finally were able to make it work. The pictures turned out beautifully.
Their demeanors are so warm and kind. At the wedding, they blended into our family and friends in such a wonderfully seamless way. They make a concerted effort to not be in the way when shooting. We had several guests comment on how friendly and considerate Ray and Kelly were.
When we received our photos, I was blown away with the quality, detail, and artistry of them. What was even more surprising was that they caught moments which we didn’t even realize occurred. Not only did they capture the physical beauty of the day, there is an emotional aspect that puts their photos over the top. The photos truly tell the story of our wedding day.
With everything said, they have a very journalistic style. We did very few posed shots. Most, if not all, were captured naturally. We trusted them completely and felt no need to outline what photographs were necessary. If you have a list of “must have shots” or like cutesy wedding photos, they probably aren’t the photographers for you, even though they would be happy to line up any shot that was requested.
I can’t stress enough how much I enjoyed working with Ray and Kelly. They are the best.

I cannot overstate how wonderful Ray+Kelly were at our wedding. We are so lucky and grateful that we found them. Even my husband, who is not a picture-taking kind of guy, thinks we hit the jackpot with them!

First, they are lovely people to be around. Second, they really focused on our wish-list for the pictures. Third, they are REALLY organized and timely, which made me feel so comfortable. Fourth, they take absolutely gorgeous pictures. We love looking at our photos. The pictures capture the entire wedding, and they are full of beautiful moments.

Ray + Kelly are skilled at all types of lighting; we have shots under a bright sun; late afternoon shots; and nighttime dancing shots in our reception area which was ONLY lit by candles!! Soon after the wedding they had delivered a gorgeous blog with highlights from the wedding, the online album, and a DVD of high-resolution photos. And I now have guests who actually want to fly Ray+Kelly out to NYC and Peru for their weddings!

We can't recommend Ray and Kelly enough!! They work so well together and make you feel so comfortable, that you almost forget they are there! They not only captured tear-jerking shots of us as a couple but we were so surprised and excited to see all of the candid shots they took of our loved ones. Seeing beautiful pictures of our friends and family enjoying the day really meant a lot to us. It let us see our wedding in a way that we didn't get to experience that day. There are a few posed pictures that we requested but our favorites are the ones that really captured the moment we were enjoying. We still continue to get countless compliments on our photos. We also got our photos back SO fast! You will not be disappointed!

Ray and Kelly exceeded our expectations. As the groom and dabbler in photography, I was hesitant to invest precious dollars in photography services. I will never doubt again (there will never be a need). They captured our event in a way I wasn't able to see as a participant and busy groom. We wanted documentary style photojournalism with a quirky romantic flair and they delivered in spades.

They're bright, creative, solid people who will integrate themselves into your event. They may even help you find your lost sunglasses just hours before the ceremony while they're effortlessly doing their job.

It was likes having our best friends take the pictures for our wedding. They were fun to spend time with and very laid back. After the ceremony Ray and Kelly wanted to do a shoot with our "freshly married faces", we spent about 45 minutes with them between the ceremony and reception, it was one of the highlights of our wedding day! We got our pictures abut 6 weeks later- they were more wonderful than I could have imagined!

Ray and Kelly Siler were people we would have invited TO our wedding, not just to photograph it. Our wedding was very much a story of a day, and we needed someone to capture that for us. I cannot tell you how delighted we were with our choice.

Not only did we get fantastic, storybook shots of our day, but people have requested photos just to put up at their house-- for artistic value in addition to the memories the photos conjure. Moments we never personally got to witness are captured for us, the pure joy in everyone's faces, perspectives that remind us that this day wasn't just about us, but about bringing everyone together.

I'm not one of those brides who expected to say that the photos "bring me back to that day." I'm just too practical for that. But Ray and Kelly accomplished that - I look back and immediately feel the powerful atmosphere that they were a part of. It isn't just photojournalism - it's photostorytelling.

Ray and Kelly were everything we dreamed of in a wedding photographer and more! The one thing you will have forever from your wedding is your photos. They are the lasting memory from that day and we are so happy we chose Ray and Kelly to document our day. When we received our pictures, which were in a very timely manner, it was like reliving the best day of our life! We received so many compliments on the pictures and every single picture was great! Ray and Kelly are such kind people! They truly have a talent for documenting your wedding day. Wedding planning can be stressful but Ray and Kelly put my mind at ease right away. He also did our engagement photos which were wonderful too! Ray and Kelly were worth every penny! They were kind, non-intrusive, helpful, and delivered a great product. You will not regret choosing Ray and Kelly to document the biggest day of your life.

We could write a book on how wonderful Ray and Kelly are - as photographers and as people! Our engagement pictures and wedding pictures turned out amazing! We are not professional models, so doing unnatural poses all day long seemed daunting to us - therefore, finding Ray and Kelly was such a blessing. They inconspicuously photographed the day as it naturally unfolded, creating a story that anyone can follow. They find beauty and opportunities to create images in a way that is truly unique to them and to the couple they are working with. While the photos speak for themselves, it is important to note that it was the experience we had working with them that made it even more incredible. After every interaction we had with them, we came back saying "wow, Ray and Kelly are just great, genuine people" - easy to work with, easy to have a laugh with, and most importantly, easy to feel comfortable around. Combined with their INCREDIBLE talent and partnership, we will have timeless pictures that will last a lifetime!

We truly enjoyed Ray and Kelly! They are brilliant photgraphers! We had engagement pictures as well as our wedding photographed by them. They captured each and every moment of "our day" in a way that we will always be able to look back on and smile. Their pictures tell a story, it's pretty amazing.... we highly recommend them : )

Ray and Kelly are an incredible team and they create artistic, beautiful, unique shots that are unequaled in any other photographer I've looked at. Ray and his wife Kelly were so easy to work with! They would respond to my e-mail requests within 24 hours. Even though they were out of state they were sooooo easy to work with. They were unobtrusive and took about 2500 pictures at the wedding. It will be a few more weeks before I receive the photo disc in the mail, but I am so excited to see their work. I know I will not be disappointed.

Ray and Kelly did a great job at our wedding. The pictures captured the moment of the day and I have looked back on them several times with fondness and thankfulness that they were there to celebrate with us. The only thing I would have changed is something that couldn't really have been controlled... some of the outdoor pictures had intense shadowing due to sunlight. But the indoor pictures in the sanctuary were outstanding, great use of the lights. We loved them. Also loved the reception pictures, they captured the party atmosphere... Thanks for much for doing a great job for us!

Ray + Kelly were great to work with. We found them online and loved their photos. You could tell that it was important to them to capture the "story" of the day rather then all the posed shots. This was very important to us and exactly what we were looking for. We booked them before actually meeting them based solely on the images on their website. They were awesome to work with and we are very pleased with the outcome. Hire Ray + Kelly! You will not be disappointed.

Our wedding photos were one of the most important things to us in planning for our wedding and we are both pleased to say that we could not be happier with the way that they came out! Ray and Kelly took absolutely beautiful pictures of our wedding and we honestly loved every single picture. We really enjoy their journalistic style and how they capture the whole day as an event, rather than just posed family pictures, etc. We were running a bit behind schedule and they stayed longer than they were supposed to in order to take pictures of our cake cutting, and other reception photos, which we were so thankful for! Overall, we highly recommend you going with Ray for any your event!

We will do our best to keep our review concise as we honestly could go on for days about how great Ray and Kelly Siler as wedding photographers. First, we absolutely loved their photography style, but anyone can look online and see the amazing work they do. Therefore, we’re going to share with you what you can’t see through pictures. At the beginning of our wedding planning process we underestimated the extent photography interweaved with all components of the planning and day-of activities. We were so lucky to have chosen photographers who we truly enjoyed going through the whole process with. Ray was especially patient with the minute details and plethora of options we wanted to talk through. He always listened to our opinions and personalities while also offering his guidance based on knowledge and experience. We never felt forced into anything, but also felt fully confident he would bring our vision to life. Throughout the day of our wedding it was very fun to have them apart of the festivities; Ray and Kelly were involved but not intrusive. The groom’s mother and two sisters tell everyone in Massachusetts about “the nicest, best” photographers and have claimed they will be flying Ray and Kelly to Mass to shoot the future weddings. In addition to the actual photography services, the products they offer (photo credits, digital copies of the photos, album- assuming you purchase those) are such a great value. We’ve had friends that decided to go with the “cheaper option” and they end up spending a lot of extra money on the add-ons later. We were so happy in our choice and recommend them to all of our family and friends as we know they will treat every wedding as important and distinct as they did for ours.
