  The Colao Band will not disappoint!

  They can do it all - country, classic rock, latin, all the favorites! I've hired them 3 times now for different events. They are true professionals and crowd pleasers! Ray is very kind and really cares about creating a unique experience for you and guests tailored to your preferences. I can't say enough good things! They put a smile on everyone's face!

  Incredibly talented musicians and so much more! Brought life and energy to our party!

  We were so fortunate to have found Ray Colao and his band for our wedding. Under an unfortunate circumstance we had a last minute cancellation by a wedding entertainer we had previously booked and with only about a month until our wedding weekend we found Ray. He just so happened to have an availability for our wedding weekend and with short notice we booked him and his band, immediately knowing how lucky we were to find them. In hindsight, our last minute change in plans was an absolute blessing in disguise because the performance that Ray and his band put on during our Latin wedding night celebration was unbelievable!! Ray and his band brought the party to life with their energy and spirited performance! He did more than just provide excellent, energetic music, he got the crowd involved and took our celebration to another level. He even brought professional dancers that showcased some incredible salsa moves which was very entertaining to us and our guests! We received so many compliments from our guests that they loved the music and performance during this night of our wedding. Ray is a terrific performer! We couldn’t have been happier with the way the night went and we owe so much of this to Ray and his band! It was exactly what we wanted and more! Thank you so much for being a part of our special weekend, we will always remember you fondly!

  Perfecto from start to finish!

  Guests described the event as “perfect”, and Ray and the band are a big reason why. It started several months before the wedding as Ray and the band auditioned for us - in his living room! Perfect emcee and musicians for the bilingual wedding (groom from Mexico / bride from US). Special song requests were made months in advance, and we were thrilled, and deeply touched, by the arrangements. The groom joined the band on stage late in the evening, bringing the house down with Elvis’ “Falling In Love with You.” Ray as emcee was outstanding, weaving English and Spanish throughout the evening, keeping everyone on the dance floor. Working with professionals who are top of their trade and just great folks was such a treat. I wish we could go hear and dance to them somewhere! Hire Ray, and then relax. Anything dealing with music - ceremony, cocktail hour, wedding party entrance, special dances, open floor dance, couple exit, whatever - Ray will take care of it. Check that box off and relax.   Absolutely beautiful music and great energy!

  The band did a wonderful job throughout the entire event. We got so many compliments of how great the band was, and they truly helped create an ambience and energy that we so very much desired. We had so much fun, in large part to them! Would highly recommend them!

  What an incredible wedding band!

  I feel like 5 stars doesn't give Ray Colao and his band the credit they deserve! They were absolutely perfect for our wedding night!
  From the beginning of working with Ray, I was met with professionalism, great communication, flexibility and this overall feeling that Ray wanted the best for us on our wedding day. I truly appreciate the band response time and their promptness. They were quick to answer all of my questions and as a nervous bride, this put so much of my nerves at ease.
  On the wedding night, the performance by the band played a major part of transforming our event into a night that will not be forgotten. All of the guests really loved the music and the interaction from Ray and the band. Our guests really loved how Ray got out into the crowd and interacted with everyone! Can't wait to see all of the fun dancing photos from our wedding night!
  Thank you again Ray and your band for transforming our wedding into the perfect night!

  Sorority Date Party

  They brought GREAT energy to our event! Playing both modern day music and throwing it back to the oldies, the crowd was dancing and having fun the entire night. Would definitely recommend them!!

  Ray and his band were ABSOLUTELY phenomenal. Not only did they check all of the expected boxes like professionalism, communication, affordability, accommodating our specific event needs/desires etc. - but also, their performance literally transformed our party into an event that will not be forgotten. The sound, the presentation (we opted to have them in white tuxedos), and the interaction with the guests while preforming truly set a classy tone with a vibe of fun that people are still talking about two months later. I can't thank you guys enough Ray, and we will definitely remember you for future events.

  The Best Wedding Band!

  First off, expect nothing but the up most in professionalism from Ray and his team. From the beginning Ray as extremely attentive and responsive.
  
  We were not sure what to expect as we had not ever hired a band before. Ray met with us in person and walked us through our wedding step by step and detailed out everything. After our meeting we were given the task of selecting our music. The forms provided were great and gave us direct insight as to all the possibilities for our wedding. Ray and his team immediately went to work on our timeline and worked hand in hand with the venue and all our other vendors to ensure everything was perfect. On the day of our wedding everything went perfectly and our guests are still raving about the band. Everyone loved the way Ray came out into the crowd to engage the guests.
  
  We can't thank Ray and his musicians enough.

  Expectations blown away!

  Celebrating a birthday or wedding and hiring a vendor is a big deal and I wanted to make sure that we were able to find a live band that could reflect our “feel” of our party. I had a lot of questions. Is this something I can actually afford? Are they reliable? Will they understand the uniqueness of my event?
  
  When I initially reached out to the band I quickly got a call back from Ray. He listened intently as I described the party, the feel we were going for and how I wanted my guests to feel. Having never booked a live band before for anything, much less just a birthday party, I had no idea how many band members I would need or the logistics that would be required but luckily I was quickly reassured with Rays wide range of knowledge and professionalism. He gave me an idea of the right amount of band members I would need and added some great suggestions as well. He worked with our budget and made me feel comfortable moving forward with booking the band. They were actually the only band I reached out to, I had seen them preform at a wedding and a concert before so I was confident in their talent.
  
  Before the event Ray stayed in constant communication and made that part of my party easy.
  
  On the day of the event the band showed up early and set up without a problem.
  
  They were able to read the crowd - which is a huge deal - since people were showing up at different times it was nice that without being guided they started with festive songs that still allowed for conversation and dinner and then as the evening went on the band turned up the volume and upped the party atmosphere.
  
  By the end of the night, my husband was able to play the Congo’s with the band, a conga Line was spontaneously formed and people who are often shy were singing along at the top of their lungs. Guests moved furniture to make room for dancing and other guests that usually leave early refused to leave until the band finished playing.
  
  My guests said it was the best party they had ever been to and that is thanks 100% to the band.

  The MOST MAGICAL soundtrack for our wedding

  Ray and his band were an A+ addition to our wedding reception. My husband and I had always hoped to have a band at our wedding who could perform both Spanish music as well as contemporary, jazz, and R&B classics. Ray, his daughter, and the rest of the band made our vision a dream come true. Even through some difficult challenges, they brought incredible energy and charisma that left our guests in awe and wishing for an encore. Ray himself is so kind and flexible. He even recorded our first dance song (Bésame Mucho) ahead of time so that we could practice our dance. We can’t thank them enough for creating a magical atmosphere for our dinner reception. You won’t regret hiring them!

  We love Colao Band!

  My husband and I knew that we wanted a live band for our wedding, and my husband wanted to be in charge of finding the right band for us. He found Ray and the Colao Band, and I am so glad he did! Ray and his band are all so very talented! Each individual performed so well, and they sound amazing together! My husband was a little nervous about how the flow of the song selection was going to be, but Ray did such a tremendous job feeling the crowd and knowing what song to perform next. They're so fun, and Ray is so charismatic! We didn't get to meet him until the night of our wedding, and when we did, we knew right away we were in for a treat!   Awesome experience

  Ray and his band has played at multiple events for me in the past. I enjoyed working with him on a business level so much so that I hired him for my wedding. By then he already knew based off a couple of question how to cater to the crowds he is playing for. I never have to worry if I book him for an event because I know he will come through.
