AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had my wedding reception at Ravello and it was literally everything I imagined! The grand ballroom was perfect, cocktail hour was great and I was absolutely blown away by the grounds on site! Paul and Greg were so easy to work with from the beginning. They were understanding, accommodating and never pushy. They made the entire process stress less and easy! The day of their staff was perfect and on top of everything! I will def. be back for more parties! Thank you all so much for everything!

Wedding Venue

We can’t say enough good things about Ravello! We had our wedding at their venue (ceremony in the garden and reception inside). The venue is absolutely beautiful, the food was abundant and delicious, and the staff made us feel like family. Paul was incredibly attentive and helpful, he walked us through the whole wedding process and every staff member we encountered was beyond helpful. On the day of our wedding all of our needs were taken care of and our families and guests treated wonderfully. Our guests are still talking about the food and cocktail hour!

Ravello's was the perfect choice!

Choosing Ravello's for my daughter's bridal shower was a perfect choice! Every single staff member was accommodating and super attentive. The entire staff especially Greg, Felicia, Paul, and Claudia could not do enough to make everything absolutely perfect. The service was outstanding and the food was amazing. I chose the Tuscan Room and after discussing all the details with Claudia, the room was set up and arranged perfectly. Our Maitre'd, Danny, was very attentive and ensured the party flowed seamlessly, all with a smile. Danny did a great job! Family and friends are still raving about the food and the service by the friendly and attentive waitstaff. From the passed hors d'oerves, to the appetizer station, to the main buffet, everything was plentiful, hot, and absolutely delicious. The ice cream bar and pastries were a huge hit! Ravello's grounds are gorgeous and the venue itself is beautifully decorated. Recent updates and renovations have taken place and the "Castle" feels regal, yet still comfortable and welcoming.
Going forward, Ravello's is where we will have any future events. I highly recommend Ravello's in East Hanover - they do not disappoint on any level!

Everything I could have hoped for

Greg and his team were amazing!!! They went above and beyond for us. The food was delicious, the venue was beautiful, and the service was excellent. I can't thank them enough for making our special day everything that we could have ever wanted. I cant recommend them enough. They really helped make it the BEST day of our lives.

Amazing place!

What a great place! Felipe is AMAZING!!!!! Super helpful, professional, nice, responsive. We would recommend this place not only because of their kindness but also because Ravello is a beautiful place and very affordable. They have three beautiful rooms, the smaller room fits from 30 people. The garden is super cute and elegant but there is a extra fee if you want to do the ceremony there. I'm a picky bride but I truly fall in love at Ravello. :)

Literally Blown Away!

Ravello's is the venue you choose when you don't want to have to worry about the details yourself. From the first your of the facility, I was blown away by the appearance of the venue, the professionalism and flexibility of the staff, and the quality of the food! We only had to plan minimally, and the staff (in particular, the manager, Felipe) took care of all of the details. They made it look like we planned weddings all the time, and every single wedding attendee claimed that they had never been to a nicer venue. We loved it so much that my parents will be celebrating their 50th anniversary here. Highly recommended for ANY event!

Our Savior!

A few moths from the date, our reception place closed for good. Felipe was willing to take us on 4months away and worked with us to make our day amazing. Delicious food, a caring owner, and dedicated staff. Would highly recommend!

You will not be disappointed!

I would choose Ravello again and again! Every staff member will go out of their way to ensure success. Felipe was there every step of the way leading up to and including the wedding day to address my every need. Greg and his staff ensured that my guests were taken care of all night. The food was over the top incredible. All of my guests enjoyed themselves and the event was a huge success.

Ravello is a MUST to visit if you are planning a wedding

My daughter and her new husband celebrated their wedding reception on 9/7/2019 at Ravello. This venue was recommended by another daughter whose friend raved about a wedding she attended there. Since this was the third wedding we were planning in our family in five years, we have visited many wedding venues. I admit I was a bit skeptical when meeting with Felipe because Ravello offered EVERYTHING one would want for a wedding but the value was unbelievable. We fell in love with the spacious room where the cocktail hour would be held as well as the beautiful ballroom. Entering the foyer almost takes your breath away with its elegance. The food at Ravello’s was delicious and oh so abundant. No one will walk away hungry! The cocktail hour was beyond amazing, the delicious dinner presented so professionally, and the dessert table left nothing to the imagination. Felipe surrounds himself with a most courteous staff who made us feel they were serving family not strangers. When the reception was over, we asked each other what we would have changed or perhaps added if we could have. We all agreed we could think of nothing that Ravello didn’t provide. The wedding reception was everything we dreamed of and more. If you are planning a wedding, Ravello is a MUST to consider. You will not work with anyone more knowledgeable and genuinely concerned that your needs are met than Felipe. We can’t wait to attend another wedding at Ravello!

Best venue

Words can’t express how incredible Felipe and all of the staff were. I had my wedding here and the attention to every detail throughout the entire day was beyond belief. The food was amazing, the staff was so nice, and the entire property is absolutely gorgeous. We were able to take pictures outside in the garden and everything was landscaped and perfect. Throughout the entire night, the staff checked on the groom and I to make sure we were doing okay or just needed anything. Not to mention the bridal suite had more than enough room for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in! We were checked on continuously to see if we needed anything. They even brought us champagne and small appetizers! We would one thousand percent recommend this venue to anyone!!!

Everything I hoped for and more

I could never thank Felipe, the manager, enough for all he did over the past year for me and my now husband, to make our wedding day everything we hoped it would be and more. If I had to do it a million times over I would choose him and Ravello Banquets every time. Our friends and family were blown away by the food, service and overall beauty of the venue. The compliments I received were endless. The food was amazing! Service was impeccable. Staff were anticipating our needs before they even became a thought to us. Everything was done seamlessly. Staff were so very friendly and caring. Overall everything was amazing. Felipe was always there and went above my expectations. There were people who did not always make my wedding journey easy or want to do it my way. But he was always on my side and I will forever be grateful.

Perfection!

We were so happy that we found this place! Everything was perfect from the moment we first visited. Felipe was so warm, friendly and very accommodating. He was one step ahead of us every step of the way. He always had our best interest in mind when suggesting anything.
Our wedding was very intimate and although we only had 80 people ( the room could easily hold double) Felipe, Sam and the rest of the stuff treated us like Royalty!
the guests have not stopped raving about the amazing cocktail hour and all of the food. I have been told on several occasions that this was, by far, the best wedding they have ever been too! We definitely highly recommend Ravellos for any special occasion!

The minute we met with Felipe we knew this was the place we wanted to have our friends and family celebrate our wedding. We celebrated our wedding 10/20/2018 with over 200 guests & were treated like family and were pleasantly surprised with the ease of entire process from to start to finish. Felipe and the Ravello staff were patient and accommodating throughout our wedding planning process making it a pleasure to work with!! Felipe was very responsive to all question and always allowed me to come in person to the venue whenever needed including giving us time to do our choreographed dance rehearsal. After our food tasting we knew we made the right venue selection and this was confirmed on our wedding night as all of our guests loved the food (especially the quality and amount) and were really impressed by the staff and the attention to detail. We highly recommend using Ravello for your wedding the price is very reasonable and they are professionals who will really make your night amazing. We hope we get a chance to attend a future wedding at the Ravello!!

This past Friday I had my wedding and from the get go Felipe helped us with the entire process in such professional manner, guiding us and giving us advice. From the moment we met Felipe and saw Ravello, my now husband and I knew it was THE place to have our wedding!!!! We had gone to several other venues but none of them even came close to comparing to Ravello!! From the gorgeous outdoor gardens to the water features, the gazebo and ceremony space to the cocktail hour, huge bridal suite and grand ballroom, and having Felipe-- we couldn't have asked for a more PERFECT wedding day!!! Working with Felipe was a dream!!!! He's such a family man and is so responsive to emails and phone calls!! He's beyond accomodating, is not out to nickel and dime you, and so helpful!!! He's simply superb and have been told by my DJ and photographer who have been all over that in their opinion, he's the best in the business and our families all agreed! We had a 1pm ceremony time and my hair and makeup team needed to be there for 630am to get everyone done and he said no problem. I was shocked because it was so early! Felipe and the 3 maitre d's are on top of everything for you from beginning to end making sure it's perfect and wow was our day spectacular!!! First the amount of food you get for what you pay is absolutely incredible!!!! When picking out chafing dishes for cocktail hour we couldn't decide on a couple of things so he threw in station so we wouldn't have to choose!! The food was incredibly delicious!! Our guests loved the cocktail hour and couldn't believe the amount and how amazing it was. Our Guests commented on how delicious and perfect their main course was cooked because people don't expect it from a wedding venue having to get out so much so fast but I've heard nothing but amazing things. The Viennese hour was also incredible and guest were shocked at how much food was available along with our cake. The bar was non-stop and Felipe actually ordered extra liquor, including craft beers, that we knew our guests would love. Ravello is one wedding at a time, you're not rushed to get out and service is spectacular!!!!!!

PERFECTION. As with most weddings there are hiccups. You would never have known that any of them have occured. Felipe and the team made Jess's day incredibly special. The food was just as amazing as when her brother got married there 5 years earlier. Felipe was super understanding to any and all of our concerns and answered every questions we had. I will always recommend Ravellos for any event big or small. The team takes pride in their work and it clearly shows!

This venue is PERFECT for weddings. We had 170 guests and there was plenty of space. Being Italian I know good Italian food, the dishes here are top notch delicious and authentic. The chef worked closely with us to prepare a menu that didn't miss anything. Everyone was accommodating and easy to work with. Everyone is very attentive, taking care of you throughout the planning process and on your big day. You receive MORE than what you pay for here, there is no money lost. Their garden, with a gazebo and fountain, was where we took our photos. It's beautifully set up for photos, which is convenient. All of our guests loved this place, so much so that they've decided to book it for their events.

My husband and I got married at Ravello Banquets on January 6th, 2018 and could not have been happier with the venue. We had originally met with the manager, Felipe, in October and booked our wedding that day, less than 3 months before our special day. Despite being very tight on time, Felipe made the whole experience, both leading up to our wedding and at the actual wedding, absolutely perfect. He was always a pleasure to talk to and was so accommodating every step of the way. The day of the wedding, Felipe did not disappoint! The venue looked beautiful inside and out and everything was perfectly organized. At one point, I was a bit stressed out because the bustle on my dress needed to be pinned up and nobody around me could figure out how to do it. Thankfully, Felipe came to the rescue and knew exactly what to do and quickly fixed my dress. He said that he helps brides out with this every weekend, so it was nothing out of the ordinary for him. We are so happy that we chose Ravello Banquets for our special day, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a venue!

We held a rehearsal dinner on November 18, 2017. Felipe is the nicest most accommodating person. Everything was wonderful from start to finish. The room was beautiful and the food selections were excellent. The service was excellent also, they couldn't do enough for us.

Ravello's is an excellent place to have a wedding ceremony and reception. We had our ceremony outside in their beautiful garden. The landscape and flowers were breathtaking. Felipe, the General Manager, made the entire process seamless and stress free, as he is super responsive and helpful in every way. Additionally the food and drinks were plentiful. The service there was bar none, hands down, the absolute best! We would highly recommend them for your wedding ceremony and reception.

MIchael and I were married last night and Ravello couldn't have been more perfect. Felipe, the general manager, is the most polite, kind, and professional person and he made every idea or request come true! It's very stressful at times when preparing for a wedding, but Felipe and his staff somehow ( with their magical powers) made the day go so smooth. Our guests had nothing but compliments about the food, especially cocktail hour!! Our family and friends even contacted us today to rave about the delicious food and awesome entertainment! I know this review may sound way too perfect.... but only because Ravello lived up to that. I would not recommend another venue! We will always remember our perfect wedding day because of their phenomenal service. They treated us like family and I will continue to use them for our future family events. Thank you Felipe, Sam ( our awesome maitre'd) ,owners of Ravello and all of their wonderful staff. Last night was unforgettable and it's all because of you!!

Today marks 30 days being married to my wife!!!! With that said words can not express the way I felt about my wedding experience. Finding Ravello's was great but, what made it more awesome was meeting and working with Felipe. He was knowledgeable, detailed, professional, and delivered what we asked for as promise in fact, he went beyond.
In addition, the banquet was amazing, we got both rooms (top and bottom). It was so great that my guests were thrilled and amazed about the cocktail hour and the main event. Moreover, the food was unbelievable!!! so much food and desserts to pick from.
Overall, my wife and I could not be happier with Ravello's, Felipe, and the wonderful staff that made my wedding an evening to never forget. My guests till this day speak highly about the place, the service, and the FOOD.

Do NOT think twice about using this venue for your wedding! Ravello's helped turn my vision into a fairytale. When we originally booked our date, Emmanuel was the GM at the time. He added a lot of extras for us at an extremely reasonable price compared to other venues we looked at. When we met with the new GM Felipe, however, he assured us he would honor everything Emmanuel promised. Felipe certainly did not disappoint. When he learned the weather was going to be beautiful and that we were having the ceremony outside, he had the garden in the back perfectly manicured with fresh flowers the morning before. Felipe also allowed us to go in Friday night to set up since they had a cancellation the week before. The owners, Aldo and John, were also such a pleasure to work with. The cocktail hour is one of the best I have ever seen. My guests went from a huge display of Italian meats and cheeses, raw bar, and other salads to hot chaffing dishes and captained manned stations. There was enough tables and chairs for all 160 of my guests. The bar had EVERY type of alcohol you could imagine, plus a few special bottles that we requested. The best part about all of this is that it is ALL INCLUDED in the price. When we went up to the reception, the room was beautifully decorated and they even helped accommodate all of my wedding coordinator's requests. The ambiance of the room was simply elegant. We chose to have our Viennese Table set up in the room across the hall. Our guests raved about all of the pastries, cakes, and stations. At the end of the night, Felipe gathered everything for us and kept it in the bridal suite so we could pick it back up the next day. Numerous guests told us that this was the best wedding they have ever attended and I know that was mostly due to the fact that Ravello's was over the top accommodating. My dreams came true that day and it was nothing short of magical!

Everything about this venue was perfection-- from the planning process to the morning-of, even the day after. I always felt at ease with Felipe and the rest of the staff and they were very easy to work with. It was a great value as well; the cake was included, the ceremony was included, and Felipe helped so much the day-of that I would consider that a day-of coordinator. He was such a godsend. The bridal room was also really helpful as it was big enough for me and my 5 bridesmaids to get our hair and makeup done and the bathroom was giant enough to accommodate even the biggest of dresses when you have to use the restroom. :)

The ceremony garden outside is gorgeous, but due to rain we had to use the ceremony area indoors. It didn't even seem like a backup plan because that room is so beautiful! The cocktail hour room is transformed from what you see during a walkthrough into some kind of wonderfully sophisticated nightclub-type atmosphere with so much delicious food that everyone is still raving about it. The night-of this was what surprised me most, I couldn't believe the way they made it look!

The main banquet hall itself is so beautiful you don't need any more than some uplighting and table decor. The ceiling above the dance floor is unique and it lent itself perfectly to our spacey night-sky theme. We had 12 tables but it was roomy enough for far more and there was ample space for our photobooth and some other activities we had planned.

Overall, my guests thought I spent WAY more than I actually did (really, their guesses were comical) and I attribute this to Ravello's natural beauty and amazing food and liquor. All of my guests were completely impressed and I couldn't find a single negative thing from anyone to mention here-- I had dozens of people telling me it was the best wedding they have ever been to.

Really, check this venue out. I visited 15 venues before I found Ravello's and this one blew the rest away. Thank you for everything, Felipe!

We got married at Ravello this past Saturday, and everything from start to finish was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived to when the reception ended, everything was flawless! Felipe went out of his way to make this day everything we dreamed it would be. He decorated our tables exactly how we wanted them, without us having to tell him. He even went above and beyond and added pictures of my grandparents to the mantle in the cocktail room! This meant the world to me! We were a little bummed that our ceremony could not be outside due to rain, but Felipe and his crew transformed a plain room into an elegant chapel. My sister did not realize that the room with the desserts was the same room that we were married in! Our friends and family continue to tell us how much fun they had and how amazing the service was at Ravello. Words cannot express how grateful we are for the experience that we had at Ravello! Ravello was the most perfect venue to have our wedding. They only host one wedding at a time, so we had the entire venue to ourselves. We had both our ceremony and reception there. The entire staff truly made us feel welcome the second we stepped in the door and that they genuinely cared about us. On the day of our wedding, they went above and beyond for my husband and I. I know that the timing of the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and the other events throughout the night are important, and they did an incredible job keeping the pace going smoothly. Whatever we needed, they were very accommodating. The staff's attention to detail was impeccable. So many of our friends and family have commented on how beautiful the garden was for our ceremony. When it was time for the reveal of the ballroom, I was so excited to see it. I honestly cried when I walked in because it was everything that I had pictured in my head and more. The entire staff at Ravello did an incredible job and it truly looked beautiful! Our guests are still raving about the cocktail hour, how amazing the food was and how much they loved the Viennese Table.

My husband and I cannot say enough about how pleased we are with our wedding at Ravello. As a bride, I felt completely relaxed and reassured that everything would go smoothly. The manager Felipe Osorio is so kind and professional. I would definitely recommend Ravello to any couple who want a memorable evening with an extremely caring and trustworthy staff.

We had the PERFECT wedding thanks to the help of Felipe and all the staff at Ravello!! The garden was gorgeous for our ceremony! When we booked our Wedding Reception at Ravello Banquets over a year and a half ago, Bill was the banquet manager. Needless to say, I was a little nervous and surprised to find out a few months before our wedding that Emmanuel had taken over.

We quickly realized that there was no need to be nervous! Emmanuel was nothing but supportive and helpful as we entered the 'crunch time' of wedding planning. He worked with us to honor what we had discussed with Bill in our contract, but was also creative and innovative to make sure that things were efficient and ran smoothly. It was evident that Emmanuel's priority was to make sure that our day was exactly what we wanted. We were in constant contact the two weeks leading up to the wedding- he even checked in on me the morning of just to make sure that I was doing okay!

We could not have asked for a more picture-perfect day. When we arrived (a little flustered and a few minutes late from Friday-night traffic) he ushered us right into the bridal suite and made sure that we had food and drink while we were taking pictures. He was super helpful in tracking down people and making sure that we were always taken care of. Both the cocktail hour and reception rooms were BEAUTIFUL. He worked with all of our vendors seamlessly. When we asked to extend cocktail hour a little to accommodate for late-arriving guests due to traffic it was easily done.

We have received so many compliments the night-of and days following the wedding. The food was delicious, the drinks were flowing, and everyone had a blast! One of our good friends is a chef- she couldn't stop complimenting how delicious everything was! So many people told me that they thought that the venue was absolutely gorgeous. We're thrilled with our choice, and would do everything again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely perfect! We had members of our family coming up to us and saying how it was the best wedding they have been to in a long time. Everyone loved the venue. The ceremony area out back is beautiful and sets the mood. The entire ambience was even greater than we hoped for. All venue critiques should start with the service. From the GM to the cocktail waiters and Maitre D, everyone was very kind and helpful. They were always concerned if everything was the way we wanted it. Checking in periodically with us to ensure that the wedding was moving according to our plan and imagination. We had a lovely experience with the GM, Emmanuel Kavalos. Each time we visited Ravello, before and after the wedding, we couldn't help but acknowledge the customer service and hospitality. The kindest and most helpful GM of anything that we have ever encountered, seriously. The entire staff makes you feel like the world revolves around you. As apposed to a bunch of people just doing their jobs. I cant explain how amazing the venue and employees are, so I suggest that you visit and see for yourself.

There are not enough words that I can say about how amazing our wedding was. When we booked Ravellos, Bill was the event manager. Than 6 months before our wedding, Emmanuel took over. Emmanuel was always emailing us back and keeping in touch with us. When we met him for our tasting, I knew that we were in good hands. When we had our tasting, everything was amazing. We got to eat the food by ourselves and when we were done we sat with Emmanuel and went over our entire menu. I was even able to bring everything over the night before the wedding. I showed him how we wanted our centerpieces to go. We also discussed our plan B since we were going to have rain on our wedding day. When I showed up on my wedding day, everything looked perfect. Emmanuel was very attentive and on top of everything. Always asking us what we needed and he even got everything for us! I was never without anything. Even the staff was attentive and on top of everything during the wedding. During the cocktail hour, I needed to sit because my feet were hurting. Emmanuel saw me and was like "What do you need? What can I get you?" and all I said was that I was hungry and sure enough in a matter of minutes he was back with plates of food for me. Everyone at my wedding said Emmanuel and his staff were amazing. Emmanuel really made our night truly special. Thank you Emmanuel and staff for making our wedding magical!!!

In the middle of our wedding planning we found out they had replaced maitre d's and we were very concerned at first. However, it worked out for the best. Emmanuel was very professional in handling the transition, the contract made with the previous maitre d was kept the same, and Emmanuel even threw in a few extras. The day of the reception was everything we expected and much more. Emmanuel and the rest of the Ravello staff was very attentive to not only us but our guests as well. The wedding cake was a headache we were spared from seeing that Ravello included it in our package. We were able to fully customize our cake to our satisfaction.

They did an exceptional job on my wedding this past weekend!! We wanted to have our wedding in their outdoor area but turns out right as the wedding was about to start it started to rain. However, they had the outdoor area ready to go as well as indoors so that I can make my decision last minute. Even though it rained it was beautiful! They were extremely attentive to my husband and I. We originally booked the wedding with someone else but Emmauel could not have been any better, he's excellent at what he does. Answered my emails quickly no matter what time it was. He helped me in every way possible. Their staff was excellent, I did not have to worry about a thing on my wedding day. Hey guys,

My wife and I had our wedding at Ravello Banquets back on August 30th, and we couldn't have been happier. Everything ran so smooth and our guests had such an amazing time and we received lots of positive feedback from them on the venue.
Emmanuel Kavalos the General Manager on down to the Maitre D Sam and Danny were very welcoming and helpful. They worked with us on everything and made the day go smoothly as possible.

They were very open to our suggestions and accommodated us where need be. Emmanuel went out of his way to help us set up the reception area early in the day on the 30th and Danny and Sam went out of their way to welcome early arriving guests and made sure they were taken care. Joe the bartender even set up shop before the reception started for the early arriving guests and kept the drinks flowing out all night. Emmanuel was on the premises for the entire wedding to make sure it went smoothly.

All in all Ravello was an amazing venue !!!!

My husband and I got married yesterday at Ravello . We had an amazing time. But most of all the staff members were beyond excellent. The new general manager Emmanuel Kavalos is extremely professional he was patient; caters to all your needs from the time your walk in to the end. He is very polite and works extremely hard to please you to make sure your event comes out the absolute best. Now the services: Omg!!!! The food was amazing not only that is taste great. I promise you will not leave on an empty stomach. My wedding guest's thought the cocktail hour was the full course meal. Lol. Aldo thr main chef will feed you until you can't eat any more. My maitre D Sam and Danny were so helpful that every 5 minutes literally they would check on me and my bridal party. We were so lucky and fortunate to be the 1st couple to have our wedding ceremony outside in the garden. The weather was beautiful. He is genuinely there to help you plan your special day and he makes sure, along with the superb staff, that everything goes smoothly! From the tasting to making all of the final decisions, Bill was there to help with any questions or concerns we had.

He responded to all my emails within minutes of sending, which took a lot of stress out of the whole process. He made everything so easy and straight forward and he accommodated every request we made. He clearly loves his job and does it really well.

We got so much for our money, many guests thought that the cocktail hour was the main meal. People could not believe how much food there was and how good it was. The maitre'ds were so helpful, bringing us snacks and drinks as soon as we got there to get ready and checking on us often through out the day/night. The ceremony location was beautiful and we lucked out with a gorgeous September evening. I really can't recommend this place enough.

We had our ceremony and reception here this past weekend. I cannot rave enough about the service we were provided. Bill is absolutely wonderful. He knew I was disappointed that because of bad weather we could not have our ceremony outside in the beautiful gardens, however, he made sure the room we had to have it in was beautiful decorated with gorgeous flowers, that he went out and got himself the morning of wedding. He also provided delicious pastries which were not part of our contract as well as gorgeous chair covers which again we did not pay for. He was so accessible and really seemed to enjoy our day with us. The Maitre D, bartender and entire wait staff were so nice and friendly and very attentive to our guests needs. Everyone raved about the food which they give you a ton of!! It was also extremely reasonably priced with an open bar included! I will definitely be recommending Ravellos to my friends and family in the future!

We had our wedding at Ravello and everything was just amazing. We don't even know where to begin. Bill was great at making sure everything went perfect for our special day. He was professional, and was so flexible with everything we wanted whether it was specific alcohol we requested, seating arrangements, etc. anything we wanted we got it. We had our ceremony in the gardens outside and it was just beautiful and it made for great pictures. Everyone has told us how nice it was to have the ceremony outside. But most importantly everyone raved about the FOOD. The cocktail hour is just ridiculous with the amount of food they give you. And if you love seafood look no further, they give you a raw bar with a lobster display. People kept coming up to us about how great the food was especially the filet mignon at the reception. And the best part is they only do 1 wedding at a time and cater so much to the bride and groom. All that and for a reasonable price. Anyone looking to have a wedding in northern NJ needs to check out Ravello!

The very first moment we walked into Villa Ravello it felt like a big Italian family restaurant, warm and inviting, not trying too hard. Coming from a childhood of home cooked Italian food, after the impressive initial tasting, we were sold! Everything was delicious, all of our 215 guests were raving about the seafood stations during cocktail hour, dinner, and the entire Venetian ROOM dedicated to dessert! Bill was a pleasure to work with, accommodating and super easy to get in touch with, always helpful and punctual. He gladly dealt with all of our DIY projects, and coordinating with Conroy's florist and our photo booth, etc. The staff was amazing, they do one wedding at a time so they truly cater to you and your needs alone. There wasn't one moment throughout the entire night (or process) that I felt stressed out. They take care of it all! After looking at lots of other venues--Nannias, Mayfair Farms, Mansion at Bretton Woods, Highlawn Pavilion, etc.--I am so so so glad we chose Ravello's. The quality and quantity of the food alone is worth it! Add the huge dance floor, devoted staff, and beautiful garden and it's truly an incredible hidden gem. Add it to your list! And then have your party there! Thanks Bill :)

I couldn't wait to review the Ravello for any couple that is currently searching for a venue. My husband and I just got married this past weekend and we can't stop talking about how perfect the entire day was and a huge part of that had to do with staff and experience with the Ravello! I’d like to say that it’s a hidden gem and anyone recently engaged should definitely check out this venue! The day was amazing and everything we ever dreamed it to be! The process was so easy with the Ravello-I can't say that enough! And they are so reasonable for EVERYTHING you receive with the package! There were no hidden fees included as there are with many other venues we looked at. The Ravello has character. My husband and I were looking for a unique place that wasn’t the typical cookie cutter wedding factory. The Ravello only has one wedding at a time, which is sooo nice! We had the ceremony in their gardens. The gardens were nicely manicured for our wedding day. There is also a nice little waterfall, which is nice for pictures.
Bill Chriswell and the maitre'd Danny were top notch! There is no other word to describe them. Bill was helpful and responsive from the moment I contacted him. Many times when I emailed him, he responded within an hour. He has a calm and personable demeanor. Danny was so helpful and was ready to get us ANYTHING we needed. Anytime either of us looked or turned, there was a staff member asking us if we wanted a drink or needed anything. For our wedding, each table had their own attendant. They also had red and white wine bottles at each of the tables! From what I could see, every table received their appetizer and meal at almost the same time, which doesn’t usually happen at bigger banquets. We had 160 people at our wedding and the Ravello could handle it! I could go on and on, but this review is already longer than most people would read. But, thank you thank thank you Ravello for making our day AMAZING!

My husband, Michael and I, were married at Ravello on Saturday, June 28, 2014. Words cannot even express how amazing our experience with Ravello was overall. I discovered Ravello after completing an online search and fell in love with the venue upon our first visit. Not only is Ravello beautiful (it has a garden outside that is used for the ceremony and an interior that has a separate room for cocktail hour and for the reception), but also affordable as well. The other venues I looked at in New Jersey were priced outlandishly high and did not include most of what Ravello did for a fraction of the price. Furthermore, Ravello offers an intimate wedding experience, in that you can be assured that your wedding will be the only one going on the day of your event.

In terms of planning the wedding at Ravello, everything went so smoothly. Bill was extremely accomodating to my husband and I who live out of state in Virginia. We wanted to have a wedding in New Jersey since much of our family is from the tri-state area. He was always responsive to our emails, answering very quickly, and we were literally able to plan everything with him online (choosing linens, cake, and even our final food choices after doing an in person tasting).

Our actual wedding day at Ravello went beyond perfect and not once did I feel stressed. The venue set everything up for us in terms of the decor that I chose to bring. Our guests raved about the food and experience, telling us honestly that it was the best wedding they had ever attended. I thoroughly recommend this venue to anyone. Thank you again to Bill and Ravello for making our day absolutely wonderful!

We love Ravello! Our wedding was four months ago and we still have family and friends raving about the food! The price was extremely reasonable especially considering they only have one wedding per day, you get completely personalized service, you can customize the menu anyway you'd like, and everyone was extremely accommodating. From the very beginning, Dominic made the process easy and enjoyable. We planned the wedding in less than 5 months and because Ravello took care of so much, we never felt pressed for time. They were the first and only venue we visited and the tasting is what sealed the deal for us. Also, our wedding was less than two weeks after hurricane Sandy and just a few days after an unexpected snow storm and we were never nervous about whether or not they could pull it off. We are hoping that we get invited to a wedding there soon so that we can have a chance to enjoy it as guests! I don't have a single negative thing to say - it was great!

My husband and I were looking into a few venues that were mid-way between our family's locations. The first time I called Ravello's, after only a couple of rings, I spoke with Dominic. He was immediately extremely polite and professional. He answered all of my questions without an issue over the phone (some places try to lure you into the location to answer your questions) and this was VERY important to me since I live in New York and I needed to know if the venue was worth a lengthy trip for me. Well, needless to say, after my conversation with Dominic, I knew it was worth a trip. He set up an appointment for my husband and I to view the location and then set up a taste testing for my family and I as well. The treatment we received was incredible and Dominic was fantastic the whole way through. He worked with our budget, time, seating, decor; EVERYTHING. We loved the fact that we were the only couple in the venue getting married and everything was about us. We truly did not have to worry about a thing. In addition, I would like to point out that the food was absolutely delicious (which was VERY important to me). The drinks and white glove service was FANTASTIC. Our families and guests were stunned at the amazing quality of service and how beautiful the venue was. After the ceremony, we found ourselves running ahead of schedule and everyone arrived at the venue half an hour early. To our surprise, Dominic immediately opened up the venue and everyone was able to enjoy the cocktail hour early. He did not leave our guests waiting outside and he made sure everyone was tended to. You can't ask for better service than that. Dominic made sure we had the wedding of our dreams. We would recommend them, hands down, over and over again.

A beautiful venue. We came across this place after we already looked at all of the the other wedding venues in the area. The garden is lovely and having the entire place to ourselves made it feel that much more special. Dominic was with us every step of the way and made everything possible. The food was outrageous! That sealed the deal for us at the tasting. My mother hates everywhere and she lived this place. We wish we could go back for another affair- soon!!

I can’t say enough about the wonderful experience we had a Ravello. The price was reasonable and included everything we could have wanted… a beautiful garden ceremony, a cocktail hour filled with every imaginable type of food and drink, a beautiful ballroom and dinner and an over the top Viennese Hour. However, the most impressive part of our wedding at Ravello was the level of service we received from the time we booked there. We worked with Dominick throughout the planning process and I cannot say enough about him. He answered every question with a smile and gave us great guidance and advice leading up to the wedding. On the days just before the wedding he handled absolutely every detail so we did not have to worry about anything. That included following the weather forecast closely so we could have our wedding outside up to the last minute. If there were any questions or changes to be made, he handled them immediately. People kept saying how calm we were but that was because we knew Dominick was handling every detail for us. Every member of the Ravello staff was very courteous and helpful. We got so many compliments at the end of the night about how great and plentiful the food was and how beautiful the venue and garden were. I would highly recommend Ravello!

I cannot say enough good things about Ravello and the banquet mangager Dominick. I knew Ravello was the perfect place for my wedding reception when I saw the ballroom and tears came to my eyes. Then when Dominick talked about pricing and what was included, it absolutely sealed the deal. The site is beautiful, the rooms are gorgeous, and you get more for your money than any other venue around. The food was great, and for the whole year before my wedding, all I ever heard was how good the food was here from anyone I mentioned Ravello to.
But the food and rooms were not the best part of the experience. Banquet Manager Dominick made my entire wedding process stress free and enjoyable. He was so experienced and confident that I immediately felt comfortable leaving my wedding in his hands. He knew all the answers to my questions and was always available to talk me through any concerns. Even the day of the wedding, his calm and professional demeanor was refreshing.
I will recommend Ravello and Dominick to anyone in the future and I have done so already!

I can’t say enough good things about Ravello’s, they are truly a hidden gem among reception venues. We first visited there in summer 2010 on the recommendation of another bride, and quickly booked. They had everything we wanted in a reception venue – one-wedding-at-a-time, reasonable price per head that included tax and gratuity, extensive menu with customizable options, separate cocktail hour room with plenty of seating, and a ballroom where the tables could surround the dance floor making everyone feel included, but spacious enough so that no one would feel cramped. Domenic is the event coordinator as well as the maître d’, and he was fantastic. He customized so much for us, such as ordering craft beer at my husband's request and creating a signature cocktail of our design. We were able to have a tasting of the full cocktail hour early on (with the stipulation that we could have our deposit back if we weren’t satisfied) and we had a private tasting closer to the date. The staff was wonderful on the day, we really felt at home, and our guests are still raving about the food and the service. Highly recommend.

WOW- where do I even start with these guys?! AMAZING!! I had come across Ravello's while doing research on the internet, and we decided to check them out. They were the second venue we had seen and instantly felt a connection to the ambiance, outdoor grounds, and Dominick. We looked at a variety of places, our main requirement being that we wanted to book somewhere that did not have other weddings going on and we were the only party onsite. We ended up checking out about 5-6 places (and cancelled a few appointments because they did not even come close to Ravello after initial research). My husband and I were very turned off by the "hidden costs" of some places- we were 200 people- and charging to tie bows on a chair was just annoying at that point. 3% maitre'd fee- what if they do a terrible job?! I also loved how we went to a place where the woman told me exactly how she saw OUR wedding!! With Dominick, the most common phrase out of his mouth was "whatever you want for your day." At Ravello's what you see is what you get- no hidden costs, everything is laid out and so much is included in the wedding package! I had wanted a raw bar as I am from the shore and my husband has a sweet tooth, so the dessert hour was a must. Every other venue we had looked at was charging about 25+++ for the two. We were in a bit of a hurry to book as my mom was leaving the state for a while and we wanted to get our date secured. The team understood this and scheduled a personal tasting for us-- incredible from start to finish! We booked on the spot and have never regretted a thing since doing so. They were always there to answer any question big or small and we felt so incredibly comfortable. Dominick used to comment about how relaxed and calm I was and I must say, it was completely due to the fact that I trusted them 110% with all of the details. Now to the day- we were lucky enough to get married outside and the grounds looked beautiful. Cocktail hour was incredible, everywhere you turned there was food. Dinner went off without a hitch and everyone complimented how perfectly the steaks were cooked and how deilcious everything was (and we had some VERY picky Italians and foodies in attendance!). Though I don't love sweets, the dessert spread was crazy- and included an after dinner cordials bar which was an awesome touch. Throughout the night, we were able to relax and enjoy... Dominick, Sam, and team kept us completely at ease and made sure we enjoyed the day. Could not have made a better decision and still getting rave reviews-- cannot wait to see the guys over Easter when they have a special brunch. Also... if you are a wine drinker, their wine is outstanding!

Dominick and the staff at Ravello outdid themselves. The food, atmosphere, and grounds were extraordinary. My guests had nothing but praises about everything pertaining to Ravello from the staff to the food to the venue itself. Before going to Dominick my husband and I visited 6 other venues, but nothing stood out. We liked each venue for a different reason but weren't comfortable booking our wedding at them. We met with Dominick and right away I felt like I was talking to a member of my family. He was caring and thoughtful and put you at ease. First we took a tour of the grounds and were impressed and happy it had the look we wanted. Then it came time to discuss the menu, this is always were we had a problem. My husband and I knew the food we wanted served at our wedding. However, it was never included in the original quoted price it always had to be added on meaning extra money. When we reviewed the menu for Ravello we were shocked they had everything we wanted and more in their set menu. After looking at so many other venues you start to get an idea of how much everything will cost so we were almost afraid to see the price for Ravello because we loved everything so much but were afraid it was going to be out of our price range. When Dominick told us the price per person not only was it extremely reasonable it was actually lower than our budget. We booked with Ravello on the spot and couldn't have been happier. All of my guests still talk about the food at my wedding and have nothing but rave reviews. They have never seen so much food at a cocktail hour there was something there for everyone. I am extremely happy with my choice, and would highly recommend them!

Dominick was awesome from Day 1. It was almost to good to believe. He is so accommodating and easy going and willing to assist in any area he could. Ravello was superb. Everyone at our wedding had a blast. The food was great, the atmospher was great, the service was excellent, the drinks were poured....no complaints at all!!!!! The value for the cost....what other venue includes a seafood bar in the main cost? It was included and it was excellent! We had a roasted pig that wore sunglasses...which I missed...but people had so many good things to say! It was a party, wedding and Halloween that I will never ever forget and I thank Dominick and Ravello for being a part of making our day beautiful and rememberable! Wouldn't change a thing!!! Also, our wedding cake was made by Ravello. Again, I didn't get to really taste it. Wished I did...but I heard good things. I chose a pattern from a magazine and I tell you...when I saw pictures...it was so close to what I had chosen. It was beautiful!!! Thank you again!

My husband and I fell in love with Ravello instantaneously. We met with Dominic, the most wonderful maitre d anyone could ever ask for. He was simply amazing. He was so attentive to detail and was always there to answer any questions I may have had leading up to the best day of our lives. He came outside to greet me and my bridal party as soon as we arrived at the reception site. He ensured that I was well fed as soon as I got inside after taking pictures out in the beautiful gardens. He also ensured that all of the stations at the cocktail hour were full at all times. He really made us feel like royalty. I got married at Ravellos in the evening on Saturday, August 15th. After touring countless venues over a 5 month time period, my fiance and I knew we found the best once we pulled into the parking lot. The ambiance and general appearance of the venue is gorgeous. Even in the dead of winter we were able to imagine what our summer garden wedding would look like. Emmanuel Kavalos (the GM) was beyond attentive and extremely detailed oriented. There were a number of decisions to be made and he helped us out by offering suggestions based on his years of experience. We originally booked with another GM, but upon meeting Emmanuel we could tell he was going to take our special day to the next level. Our wedding day was everything we imagined and more. The garden was breathtaking, the service unmatched, food and its presentation is just one of the many things our guests are still talking about. If you want a quint wedding with excellent service and food, Ravello Banquets is the place to visit. Emmanuel and his staff will not disappoint.

Everyone at Ravello was great! Our wedding was even better than we had hoped for! Our guests are still talking about how great the food was. And the price per head was so reasonable!

Simple and great value! Very classy

Paul the manager has very calming and relaxing presence which is very helpful in the wedding planning process! They recently redid their main ballroom and it’s a very clean and classy white. The package included a cake from Calandras bakery which was excellent. Very reasonable wedding venue with great value for the price. They have lots of flexible options for different budgets. Everything was seamless and easy!

Ravello's was chosen as our wedding ceremony and reception location. The venue is beautiful, cocktail hour food was impressive both in quality and quantity, and the price was great as compared to other venues in the area. We experienced some turnover with the general manager from when we booked to the wedding date (9 months, 4 managers); however, we never had an issue, unexpected changes, or disappointments. They handled these changes without missing a beat!

Minor details that I wish were done differently:
- The wedding rings were not tied to the ring bearer's pillow before being given to him, and one wedding band actually fell off during the ceremony. Luckily it was found before I walked down the aisle.
- The chateaubriand left something to be desired. Mine, along with the mashed potatoes, was a little dry. Others were not happy with theirs either, but I do hear the salmon was fantastic.
- The wedding party was told to stand in the wrong place during the ceremony. Because of their location, most guests, even those in the front, were unable to see us during the ceremony. I wish they would have been standing inside the gazebo, along the outside, where we had previously discussed.

All in all, the service was very good and all of our guests had a great time. I would recommend this venue and would use them again for future events.

Absolutely Fabulous night

I had my wedding my
reception at Ravellos so IT WAS AMAZING. Everything was simply flawless from beginning to the end. The wedding reception was amazing from the staff to the food. I recommend Ravellos for any occasion! They will not disappoint! Greg an Paul were helpful from beginning to end! Amazing venue!

I had my daughters sweet 16 at Ravello this weekend. They were fabulous and the party was flawless. The service was up to date, staff was courteous and attentive. Bill Creswell is amazing and made my evening the best day of my daughters life.

My wife and I looked at a few places in the Morris/Sussex area in NJ. Most of which were either out of our price range, or didn't suit our needs in way way or another. We were close to settling on something we didn't like all that much since it was in our price range...until we walked into Ravello. After taking a tour of the place we knew we wanted it. We couldn't meet the minimum # of guests for a Saturday night wedding due to our guest list size, but we liked it enough to do a day-time wedding which we weren't even considering at the time.

The owner Dominic, is very polite, accommodating and professional. He had all the bases covered and made sure everything was in order. He never gave us any reason to worry about anything. The building is newly renovated, it's clean and very classy looking. We had our ceremony outside, the setup was beautiful, the grounds are very well kept and there are floral gardens and waterfalls that were great for pictures.

The food was top notch, all of the guests complimented on the selections of the food during cocktail hour. The main courses were good, nice variety to pick from and the desserts table was outstanding.

Overall, Ravello is very reasonably priced and the quality is there all-around. I highly recommend.
