Father of the Bride here

My daughter was married on Saturday (9/28/24) and we used Raina’s for food catering. The entire food experience was fabulous. I cannot tell you how many people raved about the food, including the awesome Filet Mignon. I’ve never had a better piece of meat, either at a 4 star restaurant or on the grill. How they made perfect tender steaks for over 200 people is beyond me but they did. I salute and thank you for making our daughter’s wedding memorable!

Delicious food and great experience

We worked with Chef Aaron and his team for our May 2022 wedding. Rania’s Catering was a preferred vendor at our venue and the one we selected after calling several others. We loved their down-to-earth attitude and reasonable costs, as well as plentiful choices. So many people complimented our delicious appetizers and entrees! Instead of a cake, we had Rania’s provide more cookies (never enough for a Pittsburgh cookie table). Because of their popularity and volume of weddings, responses were a bit delayed sometimes. Overall, a fabulous caterer! Thank you!

A very kind business owner and amazing food!

Upon first meeting Rania, I could tell she was someone who wanted to get down to business, but also make sure the bride and groom had what they wanted. She stuck up for us when my mom tried to control the kind of cake we wanted and I appreciated that SO much! (The cake ended up being so light and creamy and delicious, not to mention our vision for it came completely true at the wedding)! Her professionalism, bold approach and delicious food was just out of this world! When we went to the tasting, I couldn't wait to have our guests try this amazing food( and for us to eat it again as well)! All of my guests were so pleased with the food, some had multiple plates and others raved how wonderful it was! Rania was kind enough to show up in person and wish us a happy wedding day. She is truly a kind soul that will go above and beyond to make your day special with the food you choose to serve to your guests.

Wonderful Wedding Reception!!

My daughter and son-in-law had a lovely afternoon wedding two weeks ago at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden. Rania Harris and her staff created an unbelievably delicious experience for their event! From the moment we contacted Rania, she walked us through the planning of not only the hors d'oeuvres, meals, and wedding cake, she suggested types of wine, champagne, and cocktails. Since it was a fall wedding and we were unsure of the weather, we chose a wonderful tomato bisque in place of a salad. The beef tenderloin kebobs and the chicken parmesan entrees were incredible with accompanying vegetables, potatoes and/or risotto! Each meal was prepared on-site. To say that our guests were pleased with their meals and the service provided would be an understatement! They are still commenting that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding! My daughter and son-in-law chose the flavors of their wedding cake with the assistance of Rania. She made sure it was their decision since it was their special day! Patty, the pastry chef, created a delicious and beautiful wedding cake, working well with the florist who accented it with coordinating fresh flowers.

The wait staff was very accomodating with any request. The floor manager, Cyndi, was available to coordinate Rania's staff and the PBG staff so that everything flowed seamlessly. Probably the biggest surprise (and the most meaningful) was that Rania was personally present for the reception! She graciously greeted my daughter and new son-in-law and enjoyed meeting my friends who, like me, watch Rania weekly on Pittsburgh Today Live! There is nothing I would change about the choices made with Rania's Catering. The quality of the food and service was superb!

The best of the best!!

Rania and her team were simply amazing! Rania is efficient and thorough throughout the entire planning process and the big day itself! Due to a venue change 45 days before our wedding, we were WAY behind on catering services at the new venue. Rania took us under her wing and walked us through every step of the way. Even our tasting was a breeze with her head chef Aaron and pastry chef Patty! She helped us with everything from the timeline to the rentals and of course the most delicious menu. Our guests were in awe of the food! It was DELICIOUS!! Everyone was so pleased with the dinner service and the timing of the evening as well!

Rania and her team completely rocked the large task of flipping our ceremony space into our reception space so that we could keep our event outdoors. They were efficient and it turned out beautifully! Floor managers Cyndi and Jessica were incredible!! They left no stone unturned- we couldn’t be more grateful for the entire team!! The entire staff from chefs to waiters to bartenders created a fun, safe and seamless evening!

Thank you all so much for making our day perfect!

If you want perfection -- Rania's your choice

Rania is positively extraordinary from her consulting, planning, cooking, serving, and being the maestro on the big day to ensure a reception of pure perfection! She covers every detail and keeps everyone on track. The food was extraordinary -- the raves keep coming. Serving over 200 people a perfect filet is impossible -- but not for Rania! She's absolutely the top choice for a wedding caterer if you're looking for a flawless reception with the best food in the city!

Simply the best

Ranias is just amazing. First, she is a dynamite of a person. When you hire her for your wedding she takes over almost as a wedding planner to help organize your vendors so you have no stress the weeks before. She is so organized too and makes sure everything is perfectly planned. Second, her food is unbelievable! I have gotten countless compliments on all the food. Her filet mignon was the best many of my guests have ever had! My cake was probably my favorite they took pictures I sent them and made a twist on it per my request and it turned out better than I could have imagined. If you want good food she is your person. 3rd, her staff is so great! They are attentive especially to the bride and groom they made sure we had everything we could need. Kept us up to date on the timeline of the reception. At the end of the night they even packed us cookies to take home since we never got to our cookie table! If you want a low stress amazing caterer Rania is the way to go!

More than just a caterer

Rania is an excellent caterer, but she is honestly much more than that as well. When we initially met with Rania, she took time out of her evening to discuss our wedding vision for hours and really listened to what we wanted while also giving thoughtful advice, which was much appreciated. Throughout out engagement, Rania and her team worked diligently to oversee all of the details of our wedding and ensured that everything was coordinated perfectly so that our wedding day went smoothly, and we are very appreciative for her advice and attention to detail. Her menu selections are vast, and she really takes the time to go through the menu with you to ensure that your wedding food is delicious and perfect--and it was both! We received numerous compliments on the food from our wedding, and her entire staff--chefs, bartenders, waiters, floor manages, etc. are beyond professional, which makes the event run incredibly smoothly. Rania was very organized throughout the process and helped to coordinate all of the different vendors. It is evident that she has much experience in this field! Finally, Rania was always accessible to discuss any changes or questions througout the process. We are very happy with Rania and her entire staff and are so happy with our decision to have her as our caterer!

Catering that takes away the worry.

Rania’s Catering is amazing and I do not use the word amazing to describe anything, especially when planning my daughter’s wedding. Rania’s entire team was the most impressive staff I have witnessed, working tirelessly and happily the entire evening. Staffing was perfectly scheduled to service our guest from the cocktail hour through the end of the evening. No waiting in bar lines to get a cocktail, meals were served hot to every guest at each table at the same time and the service continued as wine was served during dinner and cake service. The food was remarkable. The team of 9 chefs did a fabulous job. All food was cooked on site. The Hors d’oeuvres, the Chilean Sea Bass, Filet Mignon, Red Pepper and Sundried Tomato Stuffed Pasta was incredible. Meals were very important to us. We wanted all of our guest to be happy with dinner not just satisfied . Rania and her team exceeded our expectations. We received so many compliments on the food during the wedding and the days that followed. Compliments such as “never had wedding food like this” or “The filet was cooked to perfection.” and “ The fish was so thick and perfectly prepared and still hot. “ I should mention we had guest with food allergies who enjoyed the entire evening knowing they could enjoy the food without worry. The attention to detail Rania provides you while planning a special event is unmatched. Our family was blessed to have Rania and her team be a special part of our daughter’s wedding.

Wedding Reception

Please know that when you rent the Grand Hall at ‘The Pennsylvanian’ in Pittsburgh that you don’t rule it out when they tell you everything has to be brought in to that space! Our daughters / son-in-laws wedding reception was there a few weeks ago and it was absolutely perfect! The vendors they chose were all awesome to work with and Rania Harris and her catering staff made sure every last detail came together with an amazing menu! Our appetizers, dinner entrees, wedding cake and creme brûlée that Rania provided were both beautifully prepared and delicious! We are still enjoying all of the wonderful feedback from our reception! Rania and her staff are experienced, professional and very organized down to the last spoon needed for an event—If you want a first-class wedding reception with an awesome menu then contact Rania Harris and her staff!

Rania is a gem!

We chose Rania to cater our daughter’s wedding at the Pennsylvanian which was not only one of the most important choices we made, it was also one of the best. The reception went seamlessly with an outstanding meal and service; however, Rania’s real added value is in her planning process. We did not use a wedding planner and with Rania, all aspects of the reception planning are included as part of her service. From our first contact with Rania about a year before the wedding and prior to signing a contract, she provided information including a range of menu offerings and a realistic estimated cost range per person. After the contract was signed and about 8 months ahead of the date, we had the menu planning meeting at her office where so much more than the menu was planned. Selection of the menu went easily as Rania had supplied us in advance with a document with her menu offerings, appetizers, and cakes which we had used to narrow down our selections prior to this meeting. Based on her years of professional experience, Rania provided us with suggestions where we had uncertainties. Rania led us through floor plan options, table settings and linens choices, and developed the timeline for the reception. She has numerous CAD layouts of floor plans from prior weddings that helped up to choose the right elements for our event. The menu tastings meeting came about a month later to finalize the menu. In order to assure the reception runs smoothly, Rania coordinates with the reception vendors so she will ask for their contact information a few months ahead. A few weeks before the wedding, we filled in the meal selection spreadsheet provided by Rania for guest table seating assignments with their meal selections. She has a tried and true spreadsheet and the result is that her servers know exactly which guests are seated at their table and what their meal selections are. It made for a great experience when our guests were served. This brings us to the service at the reception. Rania’s entire staff was outstanding! There were numerous points in the evening when either the floor managers or Rania herself were at my side to assure that all was going well and our needs were met. And with that level of planning and service, we were truly able to enjoy being with our guests and the celebrating our daughter and son-in-law’s marriage. Rania delivered wonderful food and service with great professionalism and care. She is truly a gem and I would welcome the opportunity to work with her again.

Incredible caterer and wedding planner

Rania helped bring our vision to life for our big day. First, she knocked the food out of the park. Our guests were raving about our hors d'oevres and then blown away during dinner and dessert. We had many guests tell us it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding! The service provided by Rania's team was also top notch throughout the entire event. And finally, Rania lead the charge in organizing all of our vendors leading up to wedding day, so that nothing skipped a beat. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for top notch food and service on their wedding day!

Rania is the best - from food to coordination!

The experience we had with Rania was nothing less than perfect! The food was absolutely delicous! She and her staff set up at The Pennsylvanian and cooked every meal to order. Many of our guests said it was the best food they had ever eaten at a reception (or anywhere!) and one of my friends even asked for the salad dressing recipe! Rania also acted as our wedding coordinator - helping us select everything from the menu, acting as the liaison with every one of our vendors (DJ, florist, All-Occasions party rental, etc.), organizing and running the rehearsal, and finally acting as point on everything the day of the wedding. The event was beautiful and Rania kept us on schedule, making sure that everyone and everything was where they needed to be. Rania is very personable and easy to work with, handled last minute changes effortlessly and was always responsive. I highly recommend Rania - you will be extremely pleased!

INCREDIBLE! Simply put Rania is the best! She is so organized and on top of everything every step of the way. She takes such an overwhelming experience and simplifies it in the best way. Choosing Rania was by far the best wedding planning decision I made, and without a doubt my wedding was only as spectacular as it was because we had Rania! Every guest is still raving about the food and how phenomenal it was. Rania truly went above and beyond for us, even helping us alter the seating chart the night before due to some last minute cancellations and reassuring us that all will be wonderful. Wonderful Experience!

My husband and I are so happy that we chose to work with Rania and her team for our May 2019 wedding! Our wedding was at The Pennsylvanian, and no one has more experience at this venue than Rania. Each and every step of the planning process with Rania and her team was so smooth and easy. Each of our planning meetings left us more confident that we made the right decision to trust in Rania's expertise. Rania was so helpful with the planning process; from the ease of choosing our rentals, timeline development and management and the inter-vendor scheduling and communications - way more than we had expected from our caterer. In addition, the food (most important) was amazing and delicious!
On our wedding day, Rania and her team were incredibly professional and caring. We had non-stop compliments from our guests about their experience with the staff. The food was also delicious! Some of our guests told us that it was the best wedding food they had ever had - what a compliment!

You Won't Regret Booking Rania!

Nothing bad to say about Rania. From the beginning, Rania was responsive, professional, and just overall fantastic. Not only is she a caterer, she is a seasoned event planner who will help you coordinate your day to perfection. Every time I told another vendor I was working with Rania, they responded with a sigh of relief and an "oh, good!" Because of Rania, the wedding went off without a hitch. Each member of her staff was experienced and lovely. We had an absolutely wonderful day, and it was all thanks to Rania.

The food speaks for itself. I've heard nothing but wonderful things about the food served on our wedding night. In my opinion, you're a fool for not booking Rania!

Rania is THE wedding pro!

Rania is THE wedding pro. She helped us craft the menu and rentals that were in our budget, while not limiting quality. She has so much knowledge in the industry and genuinely wants to help create the perfect wedding reception. Most importantly, the food and staff really are top notch. Having delicious food paired with a hard-working, dedicated staff was one of our highest priorities for our wedding, and Rania and team delivered 100%. You can put full trust in Rania's team which eases you of SO much stress and worry. What I appreciated most was how communicative Rania and her team were in the final weeks before our wedding. Not only did they communicate with me, but they communicated with all of our reception vendors, which ensures everyone is on the same page. I think that communication was essential to the success of our wedding. It was perfect! Rania herself is a sweetheart full of love and hugs!

Rania's Catering - Can I give 10 stars plus !!!!!

We were so pleased to have Rania manage and cater our daughter's wedding! The appetizers, meal, service, and all the staff greatly exceeded our expectations!
Several friends and family guests told us afterwards that the food her team prepared was better than what they have received at high end restaurants in the city.
The attention her staff paid to our guests and the manner in which they courteously attended to their needs was impeccable.
Thank you so much for the services and the manner in which they were provided, and most importantly, thanks for helping us provide an elegant wedding for our daughter and son-in-law!

Amazing Food, Service and Coordination!

Rania's was recommended to me by a co-worker but was also one for the preferred vendors at my venue. I am so happy that I worked with her company, as they were one of the main reasons that my wedding went flawlessly. Rania's team executed everything exactly as promised and made sure all of our guests had an excellent night! The food was something that was really important to me so I was extremely happy when all of my guests talked about it for weeks after the wedding!
Although I did not expect her to do this, Rania also coordinated with my other vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page!

Wedding at The Pennsylvanian 10/27

Rania was flat out amazing from start to finish! As out of towners, we were genuinely concerned about acquiring a caterer that matched our high standards but were blown away by the food prepared by Rania. Everyone continues to rave about the hor’doeurves and the sea bass. In fact, my relatives are even considering having her cater my grandfather’s 100th birthday party! Choose Rania as your Caterer! Look no further

Rania's catering did an excellent job at my daughter's wedding. From the taste testing to the actual day of the wedding. Our guest could not stop talking about the pan seared Chilean sea bass melted in their mouths. The horderves were fabulous and the way this staff pays close attention to detail made my daughters memories something she will cherish for the rest of her life. Food was the most important thing to her as well as creating a beautiful atmosphere. Rania kept all the venues organized and this made it a seamless effort which otherwise could be very stressful when trying to tie in all the details of a wedding. Rania takes the stress out of the planning process. Her attention to detail is tremendous and she stays on top of every single detail. I would highly recommend Rania to anyone who is planning a wedding especially at The Pennsylvanian an absolutely beautiful venue and landmark. My relatives even commented that the waitress addressed them by name which I thought was a very personal touch. Also the floor manager was excellent she was extremely efficient and on top of everything. You just asked and you had it! Rania you are top notch in your field--Simply the best! A fantastic catering choice for any couple planning their wedding

Rania was such a delight to work with, from beginning to end! She was accommodating, knowledgeable, and helpful with us as we planned our dinner menu. She made herself available to us as a resource for the months leading up to our wedding, and was extremely prompt responding to any of our questions or requests about the process. In addition, Rania worked very hard to coordinate her catering with the other vendors at our wedding. Remarkable!

Rania did a fabulous job for our wedding at the Pennsylvanian on July 28th. From start to finish, the food was amazing! Rania’s has an extensive variety of appetizers and her suggestions for the appetizers was perfect. The dinner entrees were excellent and the presentation was phenomenal. We received so many compliments on the steak. It couldn’t have been prepared better! The desert table also provided our guests with many delicious choices. The late night snack was incredible and a perfect way to end the night. Rania is so knowledgeable and detail oriented, you can be sure everything will be perfect!!

You need Rania at your wedding

Future brides, you need Rania at your wedding. If it weren’t for Rania my wedding would have been a complete disaster. She was my saving grace through all the chaos that seemed to be thrown my way. You need someone like her in your corner to make sure your day turns out perfect. Her level of professionalism and talent in this field is untouchable. My guests are still raving about the food at my wedding!! Rania, I can’t thank you enough for making my day perfect. You were the best decision we made through this entire process.

Wow where do I start?! Rania's Catering went above and beyond our expectations throughout the entire process. Rania and her staff are extremely talented and detail oriented from planning to executing your dream wedding. My husband and I had many specific and often last minute requests that she handled with ease and provided us so many options to choose from. Rania herself is a true culinary artist when it comes to flavor profiles, plating, and making sure the last bite is as good as the first. Our cocktail hour featured a Tuscan table with charcuterie, stuffed peppers, and a bruschetta bar, which our guests still rave about. Dinner included a filet, crab cake, and butternut squash ravioli, all three options I would gladly eat again and again( also expressed by our guests). She has exceptional professionalism and talent for executing catering and events, which was a huge help to us as we were planning our wedding mostly ourselves. I cannot express enough how happy we were with the level of service we received & the friendliness of her staff. Rania's catering is truly the best & I will definitely be using her services again in the future.

Rania and her team really took the lead on all components of the wedding. The food was delicious, but Rania does so much more than just cater the event. From the start of our relationship with her, she was the point person for all vendors in our wedding, and she coordinated the entire night, from start to finish. She and her team ensured that all facets of the wedding were meticulously executed.

The food was great, from the hors d'oeuvres to the cake - a welcome change from most weddings I have attended where the food is forgettable. I particularly recommend what I ordered for myself: pork medallions wrapped in prosciutto with a cherry-balsamic glaze, over mashed potatoes. It was superb.

In planning our menu, Rania was also particularly helpful. We let her know our budget, and she always kept it in mind when making suggestions, never pressuring or up-selling us.

Our venue required equipment and dining rentals, and Rania coordinated all of it. This made our lives much easier, particularly because my wife and I reside several hours away. Additionally, Rania was always very communicative, informing us of any developments and asking us questions as they arose. She always foresaw issues that we never would have thought of ourselves, and she offered suggestions to efficiently solve them. We trusted her expertise, and she did not disappoint.

There's clearly a reason why Rania is the premier event caterer in Pittsburgh. She's a lovely woman who was a pleasure to work with -- as was her entire team, from Mandy on down -- and my wife and I can't recommend her enough. Thank you Rania!

Rania and her staff were FABULOUS! From our first meeting I felt as the mother of the bride very impressed with her organization of every detail. Our daughter’s wedding was the best day of her life! Rania and her staff were AMAZING!! I do not have enough good things to say about how organized, detailed, and great they were. Let me begin by saying if this review would allow me to rate with 10 stars instead of 5, that’s how I would start. Rania is a “10” from beginning to end. Without going into specific details of our wedding, let me just verbalize that our beautiful wedding reception exceeded every expectation. Rania is more than hands on! She not only guides an anxious mother of the bride, but counsels as well. She calms every worry with her knowledge and kind heart.
Her experience in catering is second to none. Her food is off the charts delicious and her reputation speaks for that. Her office staff as well as day of servers/bartenders leave you feeling quite special. The VIP treatment is not only noticeable but perfected. Rania and staff run better than a well oiled machine. We truly were amazed, as well as our 290 guests, at the service provided. Not only the friendliness and professionalism of the servers, but the timely manner in which our guests were served their meal (gourmet and piping hot).
It was such a well orchestrated journey planning a wedding with Rania at the helm.
Not only does she deserve an A+, she surrounds herself with the best people in the business, and they deserve one too!
Rania made our wedding one for the books!!
I truly could go on and on, but let me close by reiterating our complete and 100% satisfaction with Rania. We thank you for letting us share our experience.

We had a wedding at the Children's Museum. Rania's was fantastic. They helped make the whole thing a breeze.

To say that Rania and her team are 5 out of 5 is just not saying enough about this amazing woman and her team. I can’t thank Rania enough for support, dedication and high level of detail that she provided us throughout the entire planning process. She truly made me and my mother feel like we were her only clients and helped make the planning process that much more special for the two of us. When wedding day came, she and her staff were nothing but the absolute best!! My husband and I felt like a king and a queen on this day. If there were any hiccups I knew nothing of them. My guests to this day still rave about the food and the overall professionalism her staff provided. Her relationships with the other vendors is outstanding and because of that helped me make sure I got exactly what I envisioned for the venue. Not only was the food fantastic, the staff and service are second to none. "This dinner is amazing" was a direct quote from the father of the bride!

WOW! Where do I even begin? Rania was recommended to us by a venue we were considering and we are grateful for this recommendation. From the very beginning, it was clear that Rania was going to go above and beyond our expectations to make sure that our special day was just that. Rania has extensive and close relationships with many vendors that make planning a wedding seamless. She is willing to coordinate all of them too. This service will truly alleviate so much stress. Her years of experience coupled with the team she surrounds herself with, ensure that your day will go off without a hitch. She takes a vested interest in your relationship to learn what it is that will make your day perfect. We chose a completely raw space in a building that had never done a wedding before. It was a space we had to bring EVERYTHING into, even the kitchens and water. There wasn't a single moment where Rania questioned the viability of throwing an incredible event in this space. Her confidence and logistical planning skills are top notch. Her ability to serve 265 people a delicious and hot filet and crabcake meal at the exact same time was an amazing sight to see. You would be crazy to consider anyone else!

The process was smooth and the event went off without a hitch. Rania and her staff know what they are doing; she obtains/demands excellence from her staff and the vendors involved in the wedding(everything had to be rented at Soldiers and Sailors). We did not have(or need) a wedding planner for the 300 person event.

Rania and her team went above and beyond to make our day run smoothly and perfectly. From the catering, to helping us pick out our details to making the day run so smoothly, there would be no other choice for us for future events. Rania and her staff the day of our wedding were wonderful. I highly recommend Rania's Catering. All of the guests at my daughter's wedding just raved about the food. The filet was so tasty and tender it could be cut without a knife, the vegetarian dish (eggplant napoleon) was something very special rather than your basic noodles and sauce. Guests told me they could not wait for each new hors d'oeuvre to come out of the kitchen they were so good. My daughter wanted a rustic looking cake design and Rania's pastry chef exceeded her expectations with the cake. Rania herself is the quintessential professional and planner, thinking of every detail to make the event just perfect--even reminding me I had to make sure I had 2 chairs with arms so that when my daughter and son-in-law were being hoisted up in the air during the hora, they had something to hold on to. I would never have thought of that but would have regretted not having.

We joked that Rania was our wedding fairy godmother. I am 99% sure she could have tailored my dress if I had needed her to. Rania was a DREAM. She knows literally everything about weddings and catering. But most importantly our guests LOVED the food. We had multiple people tell us it was the best wedding food they had ever had. She even accommodated a gluten allergy for me without compromising the rest of the menu. Her staff was incredible, our floor manager took such amazing care of us, from a plate of appetizers so my groom and I could have a snack while we took photos, to setting aside a handful of gluten free cookies to make sure I got some. They were perfect. Rania does so much more than just the food. She coordinated with our venue, helped with the floor plan, and really just made our wedding a piece of cake. She also helped us find our transportation company-she knows everyone in the Pittsburgh wedding industry. Rania's was INCREDIBLE.

From our first meeting to the very last minute of our event Rania and her staff were completely accommodating and extremely easy to work with. My brother got married about 3 years ago and I was obsessed with the food and service that Rania's provided!!! I made sure to remember who catered his wedding. We chose Rania's because she not only serves the best food, she also makes you feel like family!! She was so responsive to me and gave so many helpful recommendations. My first meeting with her was incredible. She blew me away with all of her help step by step. Stu her baker made us an incredible wedding cake and was such a joy to talk to!!When my day came I was overjoyed with how attentive her staff was.. we truely felt special! Where to start? Rania and staff went above and beyond in making my daughter and son-in-law's day perfect. Our venue- The Pittsburgh Botanic Garden required an "a la carte" approach- meaning I contracted with vendors for tents, liquor, music, florals and food. But, with Rania you get decades of expertise which overlaps nearly all of these areas. She provides the knowledge of a wedding planner when it comes to logistics and timing, minus the expense. Her staff- from the floor managers, bartenders, wait staff to her pastry chef all did a terrific job. Cutting to the chase- how was the food? When every guest- to a person- says the meal was among the best they'd ever had at an event, you know you chose well. She's not the cheapest, but her prices are competitive and the value added from her knowledge is worth it. She can be a bit..um...bossy, but know that she ALWAYS has your best interest in mind and my suggestion is to simply work with her, knowing that what she brings to the table- literally and figuratively- can't be matched!

Rania's was absolutely the perfect decision when looking for a caterer for our daughters wedding on 7/22/17. We hosted the wedding at our home consisting of 180 guests. From the tastings, to how much of each type of beverages needed to the tent rentals to the amount of staff she would need send for the reception was far more help than I could have hoped for. The food was excellent, the wedding cake we ordered through Rania was amazing and honestly her team of managers, chefs, bar tenders and waiters were professional and efficient and just nice to work with!! Thank you Rania!!!!

Rania and staff coordinated the wedding reception for my daughter at The Pennsylvanian on June 3, 2017. We met with Rania many times throughout the past year to prepare for this event. She prepared a timeline for everything and included all the vendors. Everything went exactly as planned and we kept to the time allotments. The food was excellent and hot! We could not have been more pleased with our decision to use Rania as the caterer for our daughter's wedding. The food was simply outstanding, from the unique selection of appetizers, the salad with fresh seasonal berries, all three entrees, and concluding with the delicious wedding cake. The wedding was on the grounds of The Frick Art and Historical Center, which required a cooking area to be set up. Despite this limited kitchen arrangement, the entrees were made on sight, and were served as if coming out of a gourmet kitchen. The presentation of each meal was a showpiece worthy of a food magazine photograph. Our selected table settings were beautifully displayed with attention to every detail. In addition, the wait and bar staff were exceptional, attentive to our guests' every need. We were totally pleased with our experience with this outstanding caterer.

Our wedding day would not have been the same without Rania and her team. Food was one of our top priorities for our wedding that that we were willing to put more money towards. Our guests were raving the day of the wedding about the food - cocktail hour, main meal, and cake - and they continue to rave about the food now that the wedding is over. Many have literally said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding before. Rania worked with us from the day we met her to ensure everything was exactly as we wanted it. She did so much more than what most caterers do. We truly valued her opinion and she was always sure to give us her honest and unbiased opinion which was so appreciated and helpful. The floor manager she provided us with the day of the wedding was AWESOME and guests also commented on how fabulous the staff was - chefs, bartenders, waiters, etc. They especially made sure that my husband and I, immediate family, and bridal party were well taken care of the entire night, along with ALL of our guests. We were able to provide our own alcohol at our venue. Rania was a huge help with this, too. There is no doubt in my mind that Rania and her team are the best of the best. You will be SO happy if you choose to go with Rania. We give the highest recommendation to Rania and her team possible.

We used Rania's Catering for a luncheon to celebrate our 50th anniversary. It was wonderful.

Rania really knows her stuff. It's worth listening to her ideas - which she mostly will give only after listening to what you want for your event. In our case, she came up with a menu that was much nicer than we had imagined in advance. We then tuned it together to reflect social issues like how much we wanted to deviate from what friends had done in similar situations. From there, weverything went super smoothly. I was in Beijing a few weeks before the event and then in Haifa, returning to our home only at 8:30 the night before our luncheon. So, I really was depending on Rania and her team to make everything happen. They did splendidly!

We could not be happier with our decision to work with Rania’s Catering for our daughter’s wedding at The Pennsylvanian. Rania first commented that her goal is to have the party flow without a hitch and to have only happy guests at the end of the night! She succeeded with this and more!
I initially contacted Rania’s Catering based on Rania’s excellent reputation. She returned my call promptly and provided a detailed informational letter regarding her services and costs. She spent several hours with us discussing our vision, educating us on all aspects such as menus, rental selections, linens, bar set up, lighting, timelines and staffing. By the end of the visit she had contacted several vendors and developed a floor plan with a detailed list of services and pricing. I felt sure that we were in good hands! During the months leading up to the wedding Rania responded immediately to any questions and was flexible adjusting the set up and staffing when our final guest count exceeded our initial estimate.
The reception exceeded our expectations! The food was fantastic! The bartenders handled our big group seamlessly! The servers were courteous. The floor managers coordinated all of the details along with Rania! Top notch service and food-- and a coat check attendant who knew how to bustle a train!
Rania’s Catering has been exceptional ! ALL had an incredible evening. I highly recommend and hope to work with Rania again when daughter #2 gets married!

We got married at the Children's Museum here in Pittsburgh and chose Rania's Catering from their preferred vendor list. Rania did an outstanding job for us from first initial contact all the way through our wedding day. She was great with communication, flexibility and overall very easy to work with. One of things we found most helpful was she also acted somewhat as a wedding planner working with All Occasion's Party Rental on all hardware rental portion, which saves you from handling most of that. The food was delicious just as it was during the tasting!! Rania also has a wide menu selection and diversity which was very helpful since almost half our guest list was Indian. She helped us craft a menu that was essentially half Indian food and half typical American such as pork, chicken, etc. Our vegetable was brussel sprouts with bacon, pears. They were awesome! I would suggest at least trying those, at a tasting. That's a sleeper pick that Rania's suggested. Rania's staff was also very good!! Rania has great ideas but don't be afraid to push back and go with something else if you don't like an idea. We had 22 kids at our wedding and swapped out baby carrots for pizza against Rania's suggestion (sorry Rania). Overall, I would definitely use her again and we were very happy with the service, food and the whole package.

The advice we would provide to any couple contemplating whether or not to partner with Rania and her teams would be ABSOLUTELY 100% YES, YES, YES! :)

Rania was the consummate professional (and yet also incredibly warm and disarming for those of us who have not planned something to this extent before) from the first time my daughter spoke with her, and then throughout every single conversation or interaction we had with her and/or her team. Rania and her team were phenomenal at the wedding/reception and Cindi Bruce was amazing as a floor manager (and by no means to diminish at all what every other team member did for us!). The food and service was tremendous and a friend of our's who attends many weddings/receptions mentioned that many times the food served is mediocre. He actually asked for seconds at our wedding and not because there were small portions (the portion sizes were great and people noticed that as well!), but he asked because the food was the best he said he had ever had at a wedding. (By the way, he did not have any expectation of receiving another meal haha!), he simply wanted to convey his appreciation to the team members!

Thanks again to Rania and to all of those who helped us provide a very special day for our daughter, our new son in-law, and for all of the guests both from in and out of state. We very much appreciate ALL Rania/her team did, and also how they did it!

I cannot say enough positive things about the level of service that we received. Rania was a pleasure to work with during the planning stages and was always available to answer any questions that we had. With great suggestions, Rania helped finalize the dinner menu to our exact liking. She also took care of ordering all the extra items that we needed for the venue which made it much easier on us. Being new to Pittsburgh and in the midst of planning a wedding at The Mattress Factory, I visited a million sites like this one in search of high quality, reliable catering companies. Rania's Catering consistently popped up as the highest rated in food quality, planning help, and the ability to work within different budget ranges. Rania and her staff always responded to my inquiries promptly and professionally. The variety of menu options and how much help Rania and her team provide with all of the coordination -- from tablescapes, to recommendations for entertainment, floral, and overall flow -- was amazing. We didn't want to hire a wedding coordinator as I like planning parties, but we also didn't want to be responsible for a bunch of wedding day details that would keep us from enjoying our friends and family. Combining Rania's expertise, experience and talent with the Events Coordinator, Amanda, at the Mattress Factory was the perfect solution. We were very impressed with the range of china, glassware, and silverware options Rania showed us (and I can be snobby about this), and we were blown away at her menu selections. We created a gorgeous menu for 70 ppl that accommodated lots of dietary needs -- gluten free; vegetarian; non-dairy; and carnivore -- where every plate was full and plentiful. We had 6 passed hors d'oeuvres followed by a sit-down dinner, served buffet style with beef tenderloin, crab cakes, and veggie risotto as our main courses. It was awesome. Rania gave us a bar list for us to purchase, and it was spot on. And, our cake was unbelievable! We chose a smaller two-tier cake with a dessert bar, and everyone raved. Lastly, the service was IMPECCABLE! Rania's team is fun, friendly, and professional. Our guests wanted for nothing. And the staff was extra attentive and kind with our older relatives who need a little help. I genuinely can't say enough good things about Rania, and she's definitely catering the next event we host.

Rania met with us and reviewed the available options that were within our budget and vision. The menu that we selected along with her input was amazing and the tent, farm tables, china and glassware were breathtaking! Her staff were very attentive to our guests. As the Mother of the Bride, you always want your guests (210 of them) to enjoy the evening and have a good dinner. Rania and her staff were professional, helpful, and accommodating from start to finish. She has invaluable knowledge of the Pittsburgh wedding scene. As new transplants to Pittsburgh with no contacts in the area, she was able to assist us with the most important aspects of the wedding beyond just catering. She actually recommended our venue based upon our description of what we envisioned for the ceremony and reception, and we could not have found a more fitting location. Her cuisine is incredible and every comment we received from our guests mentioned that the food and service were by far the best they have encountered at a wedding. The cake prepared by her pastry chef was exactly to our specifications and perfectly executed (we had a rustic theme and the cake was stacked logs with carved initials, moss and flowers - looked very realistic). I highly recommend Rania's catering to any bride, or for any important event. If I have need for professional catering in the future, I will be going back to Rania. Rania was an absolute dream to work with! After our first meeting with her we felt confident that we had found the best. I can't tell you the number of compliments that I got on the food at our wedding. Especially on the passed appetizers at cocktail hour. Rania agreed to cater our meal "family-style" without trying to talk me out of it; she knew exactly what was needed and was also able to guide me on table sizes, etc. You aren't able to do a tasting before you sign on with Rania, but it's not necessary. They are happy to take your feedback during the later tasting and adjust for the wedding meal. But the food is just incredible, whether is a fancier dish or the rustic bbq meal that we had. Rania comes with a cake-baker, bartenders, a reception coordinator, along with everything else you would expect from the caterer. She also coordinated all of my orders with the rental company in addition to keeping tabs on all of my other vendors. I had wished for more communication during the planning process, but I'm pretty sure that was me trying to be nice and not bother busy people. The event went incredibly smoothly and our event coordinator knew her stuff! A plate of appetizers was ready for us after photos, she boxed up slices of cake for us to eat the next day. She even packaged up some of our meal, since I wasn't able to eat much at dinner! Highly recommend, but it does come at a higher price.

Rania's Catering did my son's wedding in August at Armstrong Farms. We started with the passed hot appetizers. Everything from pulled pork sliders to figs stuffed with Goat Cheese The entree was absolutely fabulous, grilled/cooked to perfection onsite by chefs. We had the duet plate of Filet Mignon and Crab Cake and a vegetarian choice of an Eggplant dish. The salad was a Caprese salad and homemade breads i.e.: (zucchini) in the bread basket. People kept coming up to me all night saying it was the best wedding meal they have ever had. Rania takes care of EVERY detail you can imagine. Rania's staff is equally top notch. Cindy, Rania's floor manager made sure the bride an groom were taken care of all evening. Cindy had appetizers and drinks waiting right after the ceremony and pictures. Then she made sure that cookies and dessert were boxed up for them, so that they missed out on nothing. Cindy even sewed the brides hem back on her gown. Terry the head bartender made sure that everyone was having a great time and also making sure that no one got out of control.All of Rania's staff were there to make sure that our evening was a success. Through the staff's professionalism, kindness, and over the top planning and caring from Rania our evening was just perfect!! Rania is the best of the best, and I could never imagine recommending anyone else for your wedding caterer. After booking our venue, we explored the preferred caterers. I had a strong feeling we'd end up selecting Rania from the beginning. Her prices shocked me until I realized the difference between booking Rania versus another company. With Rania, you don't just get true homemade food (nothing frozen or pre-cooked) - you get Rania herself, and she is an absolute dynamo. She is someone who knows the wedding business like the back of her hand, and she doubles as your caterer and event planner/organizer. I'm still so impressed with how efficient she is with the amount of things she does in a day! Whenever I needed advice, she was easy to reach, very responsive, and extremely helpful. If I had an issue with another vendor, she even took it upon herself to contact them and settle it (this stunned my mother and I the first time she did it!). She made our floor plan, designed a very cool king's table for us, and organized all of our vendors a few days before! Rania's food is incomparable and *unbelievably* delicious. We had some dietary restrictions (many vegetarians), and my extremely picky husband, and she was sensitive to everyone. So many guests filled up on the amazing hors d'oeuvres before dinner, including myself! We had several guests tell us throughout the night it was the best wedding food they ever had, and I enthusiastically agree (and not just because it was my wedding - it was spectacular). I wasn't sure about our wedding cake selection because her pastry chef was going to do our wedding cake as well. So, I showed her pastry chef several peacock-themed cakes I liked. I was honestly surprised when she picked one of the most elaborate ones! The cake was stunning and scrumptious! The staff at our reception was also extremely pleasant and professional. I give Rania my highest of recommendations. You are in excellent and VERY capable hands with her.

If you want a 5 star meal planned expressly for you from the freshest, highest quality ingredients, prepared the day of your event by chefs retained for your event, Rania is the caterer for you. You will select from a huge menu of appetizers, salads, entrees and sides to create the banquet of your dreams. For our daughter's wedding, Rania created six freshly made, beautifully presented hot appetizers, passed by her pleasant servers during the cocktail hour. The meal we selected gave guests a choice from three entrees. Each entree was paired with freshly prepared sides chosen expressly for that entree alone. Additionly homemade chicken fingers, homemade mac and cheese and a fresh fruit cup were served to the children 10 and under. Absolutely every item was served at the peak of flavor. Nothing is kept in warmers. No embellished bag of salad. All meats, fruits,,vegetables were of the highest grade., nothing prepackaged or frozen. The wedding cake prepared for our couple was the most complicated one of a number of cakes they presented to her pastry chef. Without knowing which one our daughter liked best, the pastry chef suggested the very one that was her first choice. No shortcuts here.
Rania is friendly, unfazed, organized and very professional. She is excellent at helping to plan your banquet and organize your event and keeping all vendors and the family on the same page.
Our guests raved about the food. So many said it was the best food they ever had at any event! In fact, one guest who loves filet said that it was the best filet he ever tasted and he has enjoyed filet in many top restaurants.
Rania prices are at the higher end. But if you are able and interested in a uniquely fresh and exciting presentation Rania will not disappoint.

I had a wedding shower in my home and wanted to be a guest! I couldn't have been happier with the service, professionalism and quality of the food. Everyone raved about how delicious everything was and multiple servings were had by all! The cake that Rania's baker made was more beautiful than the actual wedding cake and so delicious. Food was AMAZING! Staff was friendly and very accommodating. I would suggest this (and I already have) to anyone getting married. Also a very good price for the quality received. We had numerous people come up and tell us it was the best wedding food they had ever had.

When my husband and I started thinking about our wedding we decided the one thing that matter the most was food! We love eating!

After we looked at venues we decided on the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh because Rania was the caterer. Her reviews were outstanding and honestly they still don't do her justice.

She created the most unique personalized menu. Rania really listened to what we wanted. We picked our selections off the menu that she gives when you first meet her. She then offered amazing suggestions. For instance, our bread basket had corn muffins and zucchini bread which fit into the time of year. All of the entrees were ahhhmazing! Even the salad was special, with pumpkin seeds! We had chicken stuffed with sausage, prosciutto wrapped pork and a vegetarian goat cheese tart. Rania does vegetarian right! Our guests told us that our food was the best food they have ever had at a wedding!

And the staff! Our servers, bartenders, cooks and floor manager Linda were awesome! Honestly, they were GREAT!

Now for the dessert. Stuart was our pastry chef and boy did he deliver. We had cupcakes with a small one tier cake. He listened to what we wanted and still made beautiful creative adjustments. Our guests could not believe that our cupcakes weren't from a cupcake bakery. Stuart did an amazing job making everything beautiful but more importantly the cake and cupcakes were delicious!

Rania is very organized and upfront with everything. We received a package when we decided to use her as our caterer. She has a very nice letter which gives some estimated costs. Our menu was very involved and required more staff. Rania let us know this right away. Also, on your first meeting Rania helps with everything: picking linen colors, plates, glasses, tables, chairs, etc. By the time the meeting is complete you know the cost. Honestly, if the food is an important part of your wedding then Rania is the caterer to use!

Rania and her staff were absolutely wonderful! I really believe they are the best catering company to go with in the Pittsburgh area. I was planning my Pittsburgh wedding remotely from NYC and Rania was very flexible to my schedule on the weekends when I was in Pittsburgh and was very timely in getting back to my emails when I was in NYC. Rania helped to recommend other vendors, including our florist, linens, lighting and band, and I found everyone she recommended to be so professional and the best at what they did. She has a great network of vendors!
During the planning process Rania was able to provide answers to all of my questions and was so helpful with her suggestions and recommendations when I felt stuck and needed to make a decision. We customized our entire wedding menu and desert table all the way down to our bread baskets and coffee station and she really helped to guide us to choose the best options and menu for our guests. She is more than accommodating. When it got closer to the big day, she was there to help every step of the way to make it as easy of a process as possible which I was more than grateful for since those last few weeks are the most hectic! Two days before our wedding the forecast showed to be much colder than expected and she was able to secure heaters for underneath The Pennsylvanian rotunda and inside coat checks for our guests – she really thinks of all things at any stage of the wedding planning process and makes it happen!
I cannot speak more highly of the staff that worked during the wedding reception. The floor managers were always there to help guide me through the night and made sure that I had anything that I needed at all times. The bartenders and waiters were so friendly – everyone had a smile on their face!
I highly recommend Rania to everyone I know and can honestly say that you will be making the best decision if you go with her as your caterer - which you will come to see that she is so much more!

Rania catered our garden wedding reception. She was incredibly helpful with the organizational side of things. She helped us cut back on expenses by telling us where to buy paper products and the quantities we needed. Her staff was excellent: professional, courteous, helpful and friendly.

My husband and I had a pig roast/bbq. The vendor she used for the pig roast was outstanding. Rania supplied the side dishes. My friends, who are foodies, all remarked that the food was exceptionally good!

Incidentally, Rania and her staff were all completely gay-friendly. It was an all-around pleasure working with them and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Rania is absolutely the most wonderful Caterer I have ever has the pleasure of dealing with. This wedding was the wedding of my fourth daughter, so I have had plenty of previous experience with wedding planning. Rania was like having a Best Friend to assist every step of the way. She is always completely professional, and kind, even when dealing with what must seem like outrageous requests. And with the Bride and Groom living out of state, Rania made it a point to to intervene with other vendors to make sure their appointments could fit in to the Couple's busy schedules when they were here in Pittsburgh. The quality of her service, including the food, the Staff and the advise she offered evry step of the way, was far beyond excellent. After having Rania and her staff, I woould never work with anyone else. I can not begin to say enough about this wonderful Lady and her entire Staff. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
