My husband and I met with a few officiants before we met with Randy. After we met Randy, I knew I wanted him to be our officiant. He really knew what he was doing in terms of being a wonderful officiant. Randy was amazing at our wedding! He was so flexible throughout the planning process and met with us multiple times before our ceremony. He helped us determine what exactly we wanted for our ceremony and what would be appropriate as far as time wise, etc. (we didn't have a clue at first!). Working with Randy was so easy and we didn't have a single worry the day of about our ceremony, We received multiple compliments from guests at the reception regarding Randy's ceremony (one even claiming to hire Randy should she ever get married again)! Randy was fantastic for our ceremony! My fiancé and I are not religious and we used bits and pieces of other ceremonies that we liked to create one that was all our own. Randy performed our wedding ceremony yesterday. It was a simple elopement, just me and my bride. We were expecting an impersonal oath administration, which would have been fine - we just wanted to get married with no muss or fuss - but we got a lot more than the oath. Randy spent some time sharing observations and advice about married life and brought an unexpected and very welcome warmth and personal touch to the proceeding. He was friendly and pleasant and made the wedding a beautiful and memorable experience. After it was all said and done, we wised we had videoed the service. It was so perfect and touching that we would watch it again if we could.
If I could give Randy more than 5 stars, I would.

I can’t say enough great things about Randy ! From the day we met him we knew he was the perfect guy for our wedding day. We were looking for the right blend of faith based wedding while also not feeling extremely traditional. Amazing Officiant
After searching and researching many officiants, we came across Randy Walterman with Weddings by Randy. We knew after our first conversation with him that he was the one we wanted to marry us. He gives you the option to do a religious or non-religious ceremony and allows you to make any changes you deem necessary. Randy is a very nice gentleman and made our wedding even more special. We also were impressed by how quickly he sent our marriage certificate off to be signed. We had our license within a week and a half. If you are seeking a great officiant for your wedding and are like me and have to view all the options before making a decision, I bet you will be more than happy with Randy.

This is a very delayed review since me and my husband just had our first wedding anniversary! Many moments of our wedding day still bring me so much joy and happiness and a big part of it was from the ceremony led by Randy. Randy was incredible. Randy was great. I didn't really know what to do for an officiant, so I turned to WeddingWire and the reviews were right - Randy is wonderful. He was even able to accommodate our date change due to COVID, which I am so grateful for. He has some ceremony options you can pick from, and helped us to incorporate a reading into the ceremony. I've always believed that a wedding should be lighthearted and Randy's ceremony was just that - there were even a few nice moments of laughter during the ceremony. He was always professional and responsive leading up to wedding day. He dealt with our many last minute changes without any complaint and was always willing to do whatever we asked or needed. Such a great and important part of our wedding!
Randy impressed us from the first few minutes we spoke to him during our consultation. We recently moved to the area and had not yet found a church to call our home, so we went online searching for an officiant. He seemed genuinely interested in us and our wedding and was able to provide a religious or non religious ceremony, which we chose a blend between options he gave us and added in parts of our own. Randy was amazing during our ceremony and was even kind enough to comply with my request to step to the side for our first kiss. My first thoughts of Randy was that he was warm hearted. He made us feel very comfortable and I'm thankful he was available for our date. I was recently a guest at someone else's wedding and the officiant repeatedly pronounced the bride's name wrong!! Again, I'm thankful Randy took the time to be familiar with our wedding and the ceremony went smoothly. Given the fact that I'm now married, I can't use his services again, but I DO recommend Randy to any upcoming nuptials!

Our excellent experience with Weddings by Randy
Randy was awesome. We met with Randy prior to the wedding just to go over some of the details and to get a sense of how he typically conducts a wedding. He was patient and responsive, answered all our questions and was willing to talk as long as we needed. His fees were very reasonable with no hidden charges. His professionalism for our intimate wedding was excellent. He spoke clearly and loud enough for the cameras and maintain a sense of pleasantness that resonated with all those in attendance. Afterwards, Randy was more than glad to stay for photos and talk amongst the group. It was truly a pleasure working with Randy and having him conduct our wedding. I would recommend him to all family and friends that are planning for that special day.

Randy was extremely helpful and answered my many questions with good advice and care. He gave us several examples of many different ceremonies which was extremely helpful!! My husband and I used the examples as a guide and in the end put together a combination of them and wrote a part of the ceremony ourselves. We even added a ribbon ceremony to include our children and Randy was more than happy to hear about and perform it at the wedding. He drove all the way to Taccoa Falls for the ceremony and I’m grateful that he did! We could not be more pleased with how everything turned out!

The Officiant for a Perfect Day
Randy was a perfect complement to our wedding ceremony. Not only is he affordable, he approaches officiating with professionalism, compassion and flexibility. He is funny and witty; he interjected humor when an unexpected guest (a bumble bee) decided to hover between my husband and I during the ceremony. While planning our ceremony, Randy played a big role surprising my husband with some private promises I have collected over the course of our relationship.

Randy was awesome and easy to work with. I emailed him and we met at a Starbucks. I knew immediately that Randy was a good fit for our ceremony and I was not disappointed. On the big day, he really made the ceremony! What he said during our ceremony is actually the background voice to our wedding video and it's just perfect in every way. His personal touch was a natural, flawless addition. Our family and other wedding guests commented on the great job he did, too. I was recently at another wedding where the officiant was not very good and that experience made me appreciate Randy all over again! You will not be disappointed if you choose Randy.

Great Officiant
Randy was great! We are not religious so we did not know anyone to be our officiant, and found Randy online. He met with us before booking our date at Starbucks and allowed us to build our own script. He showed up on time for the wedding, read everything perfectly, and was nice enough to wait around while we were taking photos before signing the marriage license. He also filed the license for us. Great choice and would recommend to other couples looking for an officiant.

I was so impressed by Randy. He really helped make our day very special.
I had a hard time searching for officiants and I'll admit I was nervous picking someone online, but the reviews left by other couples for Randy I went ahead and trusted, which I am so happy I did!
He gave us a free consultation, which we met with him and he gave us lots of information and guidance on the the legal stuff I was unfamiliar with. I think my favorite thing he told us during our meeting was that we have the choice to put as much or as little into our ceremony as we wanted. I really felt much more at ease after our meeting.
The months leading up to our ceremony, he was very responsive by email, even during the holiday season.
Randy is a talented orator. Our ceremony was perfect. I cannot tell you how many people came up to us and told us that it was one of the best ceremonies that they had ever been to.
So I have a BIG thank you to Randy. I cannot stress how perfect our day way and he was a huge factor.

Randy was an amazing officiant at our wedding ceremony in August of this year. From the very first interaction with him, he was completely professional. He took the time to speak with me on the phone, discussing his ideas and my ideas, and some advice based on his experience working with other couples. It was great. Randy sent over some ceremony samples for us, but allowed us the freedom to design our own ceremony. We were able to craft the script for our ceremony, making it extremely personal to us as a couple. We were so thankful for that, and for Randy's enthusiasm for making it perfect for us. He did a wonderful job on the day of the wedding. Our ceremony was so incredibly special. He offered to meet with us before hand because we didn't like the idea of meeting our officiant for the first time on the day of our wedding. What can I say...Randy was worth every penny! He is responsive, accommodating and very thorough. We met with him months before the wedding and I had PLENTY of questions, however Randy provided us with MORE than enough information. He actually went through how the whole ceremony works, suggested where everyone should stand, how the processional should go and sent us various vows to choose from, if we weren't going to use our own. Once the wedding was fast approaching he reached out to us to make sure we were ok and verified where and what time the ceremony was. Everyone at our ceremony thought Randy was a family friend because he seemed to know us so well and made the vows so personal! Randy our day would not have gone as smoothly as it did without you and without some of the ideas you provided for us at the initial meeting. You truly are the BEST at what you do.

Our family loved the ceremony and Randy nailed everything spot on even was willing to wait there longer so more people could come in that were running late. BEST DAY EVER!

Randy was perfect! I gave him a ceremony that we preferred over the ones he offered and he delivered it flawlessly. He had a very personal touch that we loved!
I even for got the marriage license.....eek. But he let me mail it to him and he mailed it right back to me.
I would definitely recommend him!

My husband and I cannot thank Randy enough. We decided to write most of our ceremony and Randy was able to speak it perfectly - after only receiving it a week in advance. More importantly, he had added in some of his own words to help make the ceremony transition smoothly into each section. Also, he helped make our day extremely special by arriving a few minutes early so that my husband and I could do our vows outside (alone) with the mountain backdrop just before it downpoured during our actual ceremony that had to be moved inside. If it weren't for his flexibility, this wouldn't have happened. He helped make our day so special. He also is amazing at thinking on his feet. During our ceremony, we were going to do the three cords ceremony. Our cross was already braided and I whispered it to him. He quickly started talking to make light of situation and distract everyone while we unbraided and rebraided the cross. In a moment that I would normally be so upset about, he made it lighthearted and enjoyable. Overall, we can't thank him enough. You absolutely should use Randy for all your officiant needs! :) THANK YOU, RANDY! The Pannones.
OH, and, my only request was for him to move to the side when my husband and I shared our first kiss. He did this flawlessly. I was SO happy with his services.

Randy was very accommodating to my needs and the ceremony that I wanted. We hired him because we liked his non religious script and when we met we knew we made the right choice. Being able to meet Randy ahead of time really made me feel at ease as I knew what to expect. We were married in front of a fountain and I was worried people wouldn't be able to hear but Randy projected nicely.
Overall, it was the happiest day of our lives and we were very happy to share that with Randy!

Randy was wonderful from start to finish. He answered all e-mails within 24 hours and showed up on time for our initial meeting and for our ceremony. His price is fair- much more reasonable than most other officiants you'll find on WeddingWire. He gave us two ceremony script choices that we customized into our own special script (we wanted a more secular ceremony, but he does offer a nice religious version as well). Randy also was prompt about sending in our marriage license. He mailed it the day after our wedding and it was filed by the courthouse the following Tuesday. We couldn't have asked for anything better from an officiant. We would definitely recommend him to anyone!!!

Mr. Walterman is a wonderful officiant. He took the time to meet with us early in our planning process so we could over what we envisioned for our special day. He put together a couple of different ceremony options based on our specifics and they were beautiful. Mr. Walterman is quick to respond and offer feedback. He was prompt the day of the ceremony and delivered a beautiful ceremony for us.

Randy was everything we could've hope for and more. My uncle, who was supposed to marry us, had a last second emergency and couldn't make the trip. My mother-in-law searched online and found Randy. We met him for the first time on the day of our wedding and he immediately put us at ease with his candor. We even had people after the wedding saying "Where did you guys find that officiant? He was really good." We highly recommend him!

We were so glad to have Randy as our wedding officiant. He was very flexible and understanding throughout the whole process. He was very responsive with emails which was comforting. He gave us a few outlines of which type of ceremony we could choose from which helped get the process started. He was open and supportive to allowing us to write or edit any portion of the vows and ceremony to customize them to fit the needs of our special day.
Randy holds a very calm, kind, professional manner but yet a little humorous at times which was great during the ceremony as he truly helped calm the nerves. We would most certainly suggest Randy to be your officiant for any type of wedding ceremony.

Randy--or Pastor Randy as we respectfully call him--was wonderful as an officiant.
My husband and I were unable to have THE wedding this year, due to several losses that my entire family sustained in 2016. However, we did not want to sacrifice the blessing of being married just because we could not afford the thousands of dollars to have the wedding we had initially planned. Although we were cutting it close with the date, we contacted Randy who was extremely patient and caring. He sent us a beautiful ceremony to approve a head of time, which--to be honest--felt like a confirmation that my husband and I should push forward and have the wedding we could have and feel blessed by it. Randy met us for a meeting and not only helped us plan a lovely small ceremony for four people, at my mother's house, but he provided support, advice, and feedback. He was professional and never made my husband and I feel any less special just because we could not afford to have the "dream" wedding this year. More importantly, Randy did not treat my husband and I differently just because we are an interracial couple, either--as we have experienced a few times. Our wedding did not feel like a suitable "affordable replacement" but felt like it was meant to be. Randy gave us a new wedding that was beautiful and satisfying.
Not only would we recommend Randy to other couples, but my husband and I plan to invite Randy to conduct our vow renewal--when it is feasible to have it. Hope you're free next year, Pastor Randy!

Since we have so many friends of different faiths, Randy did a beautiful non-denominational service, and allowed us to pick and choose the words that fit our relationship the best. Randy's a great guy, very easy going and patient, ( Even when the bride runs a little late. ), other than that everything went off without a hitch. You simply couldn't ask for a better person to help your wedding day be the happiest day of your life.

Mr. Walterman first i Would like to say thank you, with out you our wedding would had never been the same. And just say that I never imagined my wedding Ceremony to be as beautiful as it was. On a short 1 week notice Randy worked with the date we picked. A unexpected wedding turned out to be a blessing to had found Randy, he is easy to work with and communicate got their early to get to know the scene and the family, full of joy and very natural, not to mention he had everyone going "aaaawww" and smiling and of course had us full of tears of joy. Highly recommend Randy Walterman.
