Choosing Rancho Guejito was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. From the very beginning, we felt taken care of, supported, and genuinely valued and that feeling never changed throughout the entire process.
Nicole Park, the venue manager, is truly something special. She brought a sense of calm, organization, and care that every bride hopes for. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, but Nicole and her team made it feel effortless. Every detail was handled with intention, and everything came together more beautifully than we could have ever imagined.
We got married at their new terrace venue, and it honestly took our breath away. It felt intimate, peaceful, and so naturally beautiful like something out of a dream. Looking around and seeing all of our favorite people in such a stunning space is a moment we will never forget. Our guests are still talking about how incredible the venue was.
What stood out the most was how seamlessly everything flowed. The team worked so well with all of our vendors, allowing us to be fully present and soak in every moment of the best day of our lives.
If you’re considering Rancho Guejito, just know this you are not just booking a venue, you are choosing a team that truly cares about your experience and your memories.
We left that day feeling so full of love and gratitude, and we already look forward to coming back, sharing a glass of wine, and reliving such a meaningful place in our story 🤍 -

Choosing Rancho Guejito as our wedding venue was the best decision we made throughout our wedding process. From start to finish, we had the most amazing experience and are so grateful we got to get married there!
The grounds are absolutely incredible and we loved that we had so many different options for cocktail hour, the ceremony and reception. Our friends are still talking about how beautiful the venue was!
In addition to the beauty of the venue, the staff is incredible. Nicole went above and beyond to make sure we had all of our questions answered and was so organized every step of the way. We had an amazing wine tasting with the sommelier, Adam who helped us pick all the wine for our wedding that our guests absolutely loved! When you book a wedding at RG, they require you to have a wedding planner and Nicole gave us some amazing recommendations. We ended up going with San Diego Event Planning and working with Ivonne who was incredible. We cannot recommend her enough!
When we started looking into venues, we decided we wanted to bring in our own vendors for food, dessert, etc. and loved that RG allows this. It really gave us an opportunity to make the wedding feel really true to us. Nicole was so helpful in helping us navigate vendors and RG provides a great list of their own recommendations. It was an awesome way to save $$$ and get food that our guests truly loved!
We cannot say enough good things about RG. It really was the best decision we made for our wedding. We are so excited to continue popping in on the weekends for wine and ordering their beef boxes! -

Best Venue Ever!!!
Where do we even begin! Choosing Rancho Guejito as our venue was truly the best decision we could have made. The property itself is absolutely stunning, but what really sets it apart is the incredible team behind it. Nicole, the venue manager, is beyond talented at what she does, and on top of that, she’s such a genuine, kind person that makes you feel like you’ve gained a friend through the process. From touring and booking, to wine tasting with Adam (their wine is incredible!), to the wedding day itself, everything was seamless. Nicole was always so responsive to my questions, and she made us feel supported every step of the way.
The venue itself is so thoughtfully designed, our hair and makeup team raved about the spacious, beautiful getting-ready suites and said the layout was absolutely perfect. On top of that, I can’t tell you how many of our vendors mentioned how much they love working with Rancho Guejito. Everything about the venue is vendor-friendly, which made the day run so smoothly. Our friends and family were blown away by the beauty of the space and how flawlessly everything came together.
We owe so much of our dream wedding to Rancho Guejito, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. We’d pick this venue over and over again if we could!

Have you ever toured a venue in the dark, in the middle of a storm? That’s how I first saw Rancho Guejito—and even under those circumstances, I knew it was the one. I toured around 20 venues across four cities, and nothing came close to Rancho.
The Grove, where we held our ceremony, is truly breathtaking—photos can’t do it justice. Standing in my wedding gown, surrounded by avocado trees and mountain views, I had the showstopper moment I’d always dreamed of. Afterward, the lawn near the bar created the perfect laid-back space for our guests to enjoy drinks and food, while the East Vineyard reception site—tucked among trees and vines and lit with twinkle lights—set the most magical scene for dancing the night away.
I spent the entire day at Rancho, and the bridal suite was spacious enough for 10 of us to get ready comfortably. It also served as a great spot for family to gather for pre-ceremony photos. Nicole was amazing—she coordinated everything with our planner, Lindsay, and chauffeured us around the property with such care. The entire experience felt smooth, supported, and effortless. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how stunning the venue was.
Two of my favorite vendors—our planner, Lindsay Dean, and our photographer, Kay Luna Pix—came directly from Rancho’s recommended vendor list. We couldn’t have pulled off our day without them, and I’m so grateful Rancho connected us early in the process.
We also loved the DIY flexibility of the venue. We were able to bring in Tandoori Group to cater an unforgettable meal, and by supplying our own beer and liquor, we cut our alcohol costs to less than half of what other venues quoted.
And I can’t leave out our wine tasting with Adam—it was such a fun and memorable part of the planning process. He guided us through the tasting, offered great advice, and helped us select wines that our guests raved about. We even brought home a few extra bottles to enjoy after the wedding!
Rancho Guejito was everything we hoped for in a venue and more. If you’re looking for a place that’s naturally stunning, customizable, and run by a genuinely wonderful team, I can’t recommend it enough. -

Where do we even begin to express how much we loved our wedding at Rancho Guejito! From our initial tour, we knew it was the venue for us.
The staff is incredible. Nicole and Anna were so helpful and supportive throughout the entire planning process. We could tell how much they care about all of their couples! Adam also led us through our wine tasting, and we had the best experience! He was so knowledgeable and the wine is fantastic!
The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. From the ceremony area to the cocktail hour to the reception, our guests could not believe the views and scenery. We loved getting to go up to the Eagles Nest to take photos as well - it’s such a special experience and led to some of our favorite photos.
We also loved that we were able to bring in our own vendors to make the day as personal to us as possible. So many of our vendors also commented on how much they love weddings at Rancho!
Truly, Rancho was hands down the best decision we could have made for our wedding venue. It helped to shape the most amazing day of our lives. It’s a day that all of our friends and family are still talking about. We cannot recommend them enough! And we cannot wait to continue to visit as part of their wine club :) -

We had our dream wedding at the most beautiful venue thanks to the amazing team at Rancho Guejito.
There was so much that was included in the price of the venue it made wedding planning so much less stressful, they had wonderful recommendations for vendors and they were extremely helpful and welcoming to the other vendors that we booked that were unfamiliar with the venue. They made sure that our day was as memorable and special as possible and helped make everything flow with ease. The locations for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were all surrounded by beautiful mountain views and had the potential to make it your own.
Nicole was amazing to work with, she was so knowledgeable about the flow of the day, she answered all our questions and she was extremely dedicated to making sure we were taken care of.
Their wine selection is incredible and the wine tasting experience was truly special and one of our favorite parts of wedding planning!
Our wedding was beautiful, relaxing and was the perfect day thanks to Rancho Guejito, and I highly recommend every couple book this venue! -

We had such an amazing experience having our wedding at Rancho Guejito Vineyard! Nicole was extremely attentive and very responsive with any questions we had. The winery is absolutely gorgeous and has so many locations for beautiful and varied photos. The space is large enough to fit a lot of people, but can still feel very intimate with a smaller guest count. We loved having the choice to book whatever vendors we wanted and wound up using quite a few from their preferred vendor list and had great experiences across the board! I would highly recommend Rancho Guejito for your wedding - I also love that since we live in the area we can visit on weekends and get great use of our wine club membership. -

Rancho Guejito was the perfect place for my wife and I to get married. The venue is beautiful in itself but it was also very spacious for our bigger than average wedding of 250 guests. Working with Nicole Park was also a blessing, she was very responsive and helped us throughout the planning process. -

Rancho Guejito was an excellent venue, from the beauty of the valley and it’s natural setting to the service from Nicole (venue manager) and other vendors she recommended (Dancing DJ & SD Event Planning). Best price of any venue we looked at for over 200 guests, optional bar and any vendor for food catering. The reception area is gorgeous, and perfectly sized even for 250. Photos are great, and you’ve even got the option to go up one of the hills and take photos at the top (venue will drive you)! -

We set out to find a special venue and Rancho delivered and more! Not only was it beautiful, reasonable and exceeded our expectations but the service that Nicole from the venue provided was outstanding. We could not be happier with picking this as our venue and any other couple we have spoken to that also got married here feels the same way. We also used Lindsay Dean as a wedding planner and I would highly recommend her as well as she made our lives so much easier!
Only small gripe on Rancho is not having a hotel nearby. We had the Lakehouse San Marcos as our hotel and shuttled guests in. In the end it was not a big deal at all but in a perfect world, it would have been nice to have a hotel on site or down the street. -

I can't say enough good things about Rancho Guejito! We just got married there this month, and it was truly the wedding of our dreams. The venue is absolutely stunning—our guests couldn’t stop raving about the breathtaking mountain views and greenery. The two ceremony sites and cocktail area offer incredible backdrops for photos with the gorgeous mountain landscape. The reception space was exactly what we envisioned for our day, with the string lights and vineyards all around it made for a magical evening. The bridal and groom suites were perfect, the bridal suite had multiple vanity stations and lots of natural light and mirrors which made it perfect for getting ready, and the groom’s suite was the perfect party room pre-ceremony for the groomsmen and bridesmaids. What really made everything come together was Nicole. She’s an absolute angel—so thoughtful and dedicated. Nicole and her team truly care about making your special day perfect! If you’re looking for the perfect wedding venue with an exceptional team, I highly recommend Rancho Guejito. They’ll make your day unforgettable! -

Top Notch!
Oh my where do I start?! I’m a Professional Wedding Photographer and think choosing a venue that not only treats it’s guests right but its vendors as well, is SOO important! Everyone working together to make the clients day an unforgettable experience is necessary and I’m happy to say I’m very impressed with Rancho Guejito’s customer service. For me that’s number one but they not only are kind and excited to host weddings, but their property is PRIme. It’s quaint, darling, cottage-like in an area where I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s intimate but also spacious and open. The opportunity for captures is ENDless. Ohh and the citrus trees?! Talk about elevating your images. The Coordinator places the arches in the perfect spots that photographs well and the sunsets are to die for. The patio is just the right size for a hoppin dance party with amazing acoustics! The trees are placed perfectly giving you ample spots to frame your sweetheart and dessert tables! I can’t say enough good! Ohh and their getting ready rooms are open & fresh fitting the aesthetics of the property. It’s a must view and I’m happy to offer 10% off to anyone who books me who books their wedding with them as I could photograph there all day! 🙌🏻👏🏻 -

Beautiful Outdoor San Diego Venue
This ranch style venue is gorgeous and is very much, a hidden gem in the San Diego area. One of our favorite things is how close to everything it is, yet while you are there, you truly feel you are surrounded by nature. The venue managers are very accommodating and we feel like it is one of the best new venues in the San Diego area! You have to check it out! -

Overall, we appreciated the natural beauty of this venue and the accessibility it provided for family members with limited mobility. The pictures you see online do not adequately justify the splendor of the area. In addition to all of that, the wine is great, and we will forever have a soft place in our hearts for Rancho Guejito, as it is the place where we were married. That said, we were not pleased with our experience working with the venue coordinator, Nicole.
Before booking, we were warned by friends who had recently been married here about Nicole not being as organized or helpful as hoped. We listened, but we loved the venue, and our walkthrough and initial conversations with her were positive. We were a couple planning this wedding from out of town, so we tried to be as proactive as possible when scheduling meetings or conversations with Nicole. However, we struggled with her lack of communication and follow-through. There were several items she mentioned were available during the tour or during the initial venue booking stages and contract that she did not provide on the wedding day (e.g., lawn games, additional wine as needed, parasols). She repeatedly told us that she would reach out to us to schedule meetings, such as the wine tasting or the rehearsal, but it was always up to us to initiate contact with her to obtain the necessary information.
Additionally, there was a lack of communication regarding staff working at the venue during the wedding, so we had to ask again days before the wedding to ensure we had the correct number of meals to support the staff that night. She did not clarify what venue staff would be at the venue on our big day or how they would be supporting us throughout the evening, including transportation.
The most disappointing part of the whole process was her lack of warmth and professionalism. Multiple times throughout the planning process, when we raised a concern or requested an accommodation that she had previously stated was provided, she responded defensively or outright dismissed our claims. This was especially frustrating when we had our wine selection tasting months ahead of time because we were out of town. Due to this, the head wine sommelier, Adam, who was very helpful, informed us during our tasting that we could request to switch out wines we had selected up to two weeks before the wedding for different wines, provided those new wines were still available and not reserved for another wedding. When we asked for further clarification on this policy with Nicole a month before the wedding, she told us this was never the case and that no staff member at the venue would ever say such a thing. She then reassured us that we could purchase more wine on the wedding day if needed. Either she would personally let us know, or one of her staff members would communicate with us that we needed to purchase more on the day of the event. However, on the wedding day, we ran out of white wine early in the night, and we only discovered this the following morning from our bartender, despite our bartender telling the Rancho Geujito staff about our lack of wine.
Furthermore, after consulting with our coordinator, bartenders, and guests, we believe that one of the Rancho Guejito staff members moved boxes of our wines to Nicole’s office during the cocktail hour without informing anyone. So when we ran out of white wine during the reception that evening and then found the missing wine in two full boxes two days later in Nicole’s office, we were left confused and frustrated at the choices made by her staff. Several of the bottles had their foil cut off, indicating that they were indeed opened by our bartenders and then ‘misplaced’ by her staff into her office during our wedding. When asked about the missing box of wine left in her office a day later, Nicole at first did not know that there were extra boxes of wine in her office. We had to make a separate trip out to the venue days later to pick up our missing wine when she reached out to us. This is especially impactful when all the leftover alcohol from the evening was supposed to be placed in a designated vehicle at the end of the night, which was clearly stated in our final preliminary meeting before the wedding.
On the rehearsal day, she had assured us that we would have the whole time to practice and use the space to unload into the getting-ready spaces for the morning. Still, when she discovered that we had finished the rehearsal with about 45 minutes left and that we were then going to use our remaining time to unload and prep for tomorrow morning, she started giving us constant reminders about time and pressured us to leave the venue early so that she could go home. Eventually, with fifteen minutes left on our time, she informed us that she would be closing the gates. We had to remind her that our contracted time was not up yet, as it was not for another fifteen minutes.
Then, on the wedding day, in what was the most hurtful moment of our experience at Rancho Geujito, Nicole was late arriving to open the gate for the wedding party. When she did arrive, she did not say a word to us, not a “good morning” or even a “happy wedding day!” Nor did she escort us to the getting-ready spaces. She simply unlocked the gate and went to her office without ever saying a word to me or anyone in my party. Many of my friends and family members approached me independently to share experiences of being treated poorly and coldly by Nicole throughout the day, even asking if this person was okay, having no prior knowledge about her or her role. Her behavior leading up to and especially on the day of the wedding really was a damper on what was otherwise a beautiful venue.
If you have a lot of people you trust to manage everything on the day, then you will likely be fine at this venue. If you need any type of support from the venue coordinator, I would not recommend this venue. -
